So this update is short.

"Mai!" Jono flung himself at Mai. "What are you doing here." Mai's smile falls as she pulls away from Jono's grasp.

"I'm here to kill you. Or at least that's what I was assigned to do. Why the in the name of the gods are you still here? You should have run once you killed those grunts they know where you are!" Mai's voice was laced with concern. "You should have run…while you had the chance." Set eyes the woman before him with a cautious eye. She was lovely, long blonde hair with large dark purple eyes. She was for lack of a better word beautiful. Set scowls he knows that if it came down to a fight between the two of them over Jono he has a sinking feeling of who Jono might pick.

"We should get the others so they can hear what ever it is you have to say, what do you think Jono?" Jono nods in response and leads Mai inside of the palace. "Take her to my quarters I'll bring everyone else there."

"Okay." Jono takes Mai off in the direction of Set's quarters while Set heads to the throne room.

"Yami." Yami looks up from examining his hand and smiles at his cousin. "We found her." Yami eyes wide in excitement at the idea of finding this women.

"Where is she? Shall I summon horses or perhaps a ship?" Set holds up his hand to stop Yami from summoning anything.

"There is no need for any of that." Yami looks at him confused. "She's with Jono in my quarters." Yami's face lights up with excitement.

"That's great! Let's go talk to her." Yami waves his hand, summoning the servant next to him. "Tell the other's to meet us in Set's room right away."The servant woman nods and takes off from the room to go and find the others. "Come on Set let's go!" Before Yami can leave Set grabs his arm.

"I don't think we can trust her." Set whispers.

"What do you mean?" Yami looks confused and concerned. "I thought she and Jono were good friends."

"She has come here to kill him, those are her orders." Yami sighs and rubs his temples.

"If you have taught me anything it is that your orders mean nothing. If you don't want to do something you don't do it. So how can you assume that she will try to kill him." Yami raises an eyebrow when Set remains silent. "I know you care about him, but he can take care of himself. You know that."

"I'm just worried about this entire thing. We have no idea how many of those cultists are out there, who knows if they will ever stop hunting them." Yami put a hand on Set's shoulder.

"We'll find all those who want to hurt them and we will crush them." Yami smiled and turned heading out of the throne room towards Set's quarters.

Yami's words did not sit comfortably with Set. How could they crush whoever was going after Jono and his friends. They could not even fight off the few underlings they sent after them a few days ago. Set had the strongest magic out of himself, Malik, Bakura, and Yami but when he faced off against those cultists he released how weak he truly was compared to Jono and Jono almost died, he wasn't even strong enough to rid himself of the threat that faced him. So what good would the help of Set, Yami, Bakura, and Malik be? Set shook his head violently in an attempt to fight of the doubt that was creeping into his mind. He frowned as he left the throne room to follow Yami to his chambers. He still did not trust Mai, and his doubt about winning that crawled into his mind was now running wild. Sighing he quickened his pace down the halls to his chambers.

"Where is Mai?" Set could hear Yami's voice from down the hall. "I said where is she?" Yami's voice was laced with concern. Set sprinted the last few feet to his quarters. "What do you mean she's gone!" Yami screamed when Set opened the door.

"Mai's gone?" Set looked at Jono who was staring out the balcony off his bedroom.

"Someone followed her here. She knew that they would follow her to Egypt but she did not think they would be so ballsy to follow her to the palace." Jono continued to stare out the balcony. "You'll find her dead tomorrow." All eyes snapped to Jono. "They are going to make an example of her, in an attempt to get us to leave the palace and separate ourselves for you four. They know how to get into the palace but they are not stupid enough to try and invade the palace.

"Do you think Mai will tell them anything?" Jono shook his head.

"No, she is loyal to a fault. She would never sell us out because she knows either way she is going to die. So she'll stay quiet." Set chewed on his lip, perhaps he had been wrong about Mai.

"Did she tell you anything?" Yami shifted nervously as Jono turned to face him.

"Rome has fallen but Cairo has risen." Everyone glanced at each other.

"And what does that mean?" Yugi asked.

"Their headquarters were in Rome but they have abandon it for Cairo. They are in the city with us." Yami scowled, perhaps this was enough to convince his father to help them defeat this cult.
