Heres the new update! Sorry it took so long because I've had a very busy month in school. But now I'm on vacation and I hope you like this! :D
Jack woke up with his head throbbing with pain. The last memory he remembered before he blacked out was falling down into the cold, dark air. Afterwards when he opened his eyes he was surprised that the first person he saw was Elsa tied up and staring down on to the floor.
"Elsa!" Jack wondered.
"Jack."
"How did you get here? Why does Pitch have you too?"
"Jack, it's Cupid."
"Why? What did he do to you?"
"What? No. It's me, Cupid."
Jack closed his eyes again and the next time he opened it he saw Cupid tied up.
"Oh." Jack replied both relieved and disappointed.
"Fancy meeting you again Jack and this time I'm not the only one tied up. Still daydreaming about that Elsa girl, oui?"
"Oh, just shut up."
"Whatever."
"Where are we?"
"Kielder Forest. Or at least underneath it. Pitch's new lair."
Afterwards, a door opened squeakily and Pitch appeared to them.
"Well now, look who's all tied up."
"I don't understand why I need to be tied up all time." Cupid whined.
"Why do you need us both in here?" Jack interrogated Pitch
But Pitch just replied with a long, menacing laugh.
"The both of you look so adorable being helpless. I can't believe I can ever hit two birds with one stone."
"Wrap it and shut it Pitch. Let us out of here!" Cupid demanded.
"Na-ah. Not yet, lover boy. First, I need to do some experimenting. Let's see. Who wants to volunteer? Eeny-meeny-miny oh let's just get this over with." Pitch said and then grabbed at Jack's chair and dragged him outside and into another room.
"Let me grab something first. Don't worry, I know you'll be easily bored, so I brought something to entertain you. Enjoy." Pitch said as a baby tooth fairy came in and shut the door completely.
Anna stayed true to her word that it would be a day lived to its fullest. After the breakfast they had, they immediately dressed up to go to town. Elsa was glad she could talk and interact with her people. She saw how productive Arendelle was with its hardworking men and women. Children ran on the streets playing with their toys and with their friends. They visited a bakery/patisserie where they bought some cookies and chocolates. Afterwards, they went in a bookstore where Anna found a good book to read. They also went to the market where different things ranging from food to clothing were being sold. It was a wonderful day because she got to bond with Anna and because by the end of the day the quietly watched the sunset by the docks.
"Look at that painted sky." Anna commented.
"Yeah. It's like magic. It's so enchanting. And oh, look the silhouettes of the ships just gives it a more romantic feeling." Elsa added.
Anna suddenly looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" Elsa asked.
"Romantic feeling? Whoa there. Never thought I'd hear that from you." Anna replied sounding surprised.
"Well, I'm not as "cold" as I look." Elsa joked. And then they both laughed.
As the night fell, Elsa was tired as she reached her bed, her eyes, her back all ached badly but her mind wants to just stay awake. After on what seemed to be an hour she was still awake and she walked around the castle. Suddenly, she decided to go back on a little trip back to her "Ice Palace", she seemed to be at ease within the cold. I gave her the moment she needed for thinking and somehow, resting. Besides, she will be back before the sun rises, so no one will ever have miss her.
"I see you have been well entertained by my new comrade Jack."
"What did you do to him?" Jack demanded.
"A little bit of this and that. Ohh, let's not go there yet. At this moment it's a matter of what I am going to do with you."
Jack stared blankly and surprisingly at Pitch.
"Haha! Don't worry! You'll know soon because you'll be a part of it. I have waited for this moment. After that little glitch ever since you came up, I'm determined to finish this once and for all. And I'm making sure that you and all the other Guardians will be out of the way. Soon, it will be time for the new Dark Ages. Soon, I will rule. Soon, my reign shall be restored."
Then out of nowhere a silver arrow appeared.
"Do you recognize this Jack?"
But Jack just stared at it. He knew what it was and it was the moment when it dawned to him on why Baby Tooth was acting so cold, mean and furious at Jack. He flew all around the room and doesn't seem to care at all for Jack as he once did back then.
"I believe you do, eh? You see I'm creating thousands of these. Baby tooth fairy was just here to be a sample. And you'll be the next." Pitch said as he drew in closer to Jack.
As Pitch approached, Jack knew what to do. The moment Pitch was so close he kicked him hard to the wall and started to freeze the bind around him.
"Come on. Quickly." he said as he concentrated on putting his energy to the binds.
Then the rope froze solidly and Jack was able to break it. He froze Pitch's feet and legs as he stormed through the door, grabbed his staff and quickly untied Cupid.
"Faster Jack we don't have much time." Cupid demanded.
"I know just hold still." Jack replied as he was trying to do his best.
The moment Cupid was free they immediately flew to get out but Pitch's army was on to them. Pitch was back in his feet too.
The moment they got out of the cave they swiftly traversed the mist. Afterwards, just when they thought they lost them a swarm of arrows were being shot to them.
"Oh no. Jack! Avoid them at all cost. Don't get even get yourself hurt. We need to lose them. I'll go here on this direction and you go on the other. If something happens we'll rendezvous at North's okay?" Cupid announced.
"Okay." Jack said
They parted and Jack flew fast and rode the wind. Arrows won't still stop on targeting him. He threw snowballs and made a blizzard. He was exerting all of his effort to get by, but then in a few seconds, Pitch appeared inches behind him.
"Boo" Pitch said as he targeted an arrow to Jack.
The arrow flew quickly but the arrow did not strike Jack.
"Ha." Jack thought.
A few second later, he lost them.
"Agh. Finally!" Jack said relieved and went straight for North.
In the middle of his journey he felt his arms beginning to feel weak.
"I must be tired, after I had so much to deal with." he said to himself.
But then he saw his arm, his hoodie was scratched and he felt like he was bleeding although there wasn't any blood coming out.
"Oh no, I'm feeling dizzy. Must. Rest." He said and thought of a nearer place to stay.
He immediately thought of his then place of solitude and went straight to North Mountain.
Upon his arrival, he saw that the Ice Palace looked like it had gone into a siege; he went inside which was also messy. But Jack didn't have the time to think about it, he was ready to succumb to sleep and fell on the floor.
As Elsa reached the Ice Palace she forgot that it was all messed up.
"I almost forgot. I still had to repair this." Elsa said and sighed.
Elsa continued to roam around and unleashed her imagination on what she can add and improve in the palace. This area was like her little playground where she can create another world of her own. Although she knew she had many responsibilities as a queen, she knew she still had that child inside of her who needs a little playtime once in a while. When she reached upstairs she saw the broken "chandelier" before she blacked out.
"Oh my, I can't even remember the mess I made." Elsa said as she approached the chandelier.
""Let's clean this-Jack?" Elsa said.
And then she saw Jack lying on the floor. She rushed up to him immediately.
"Jack! Are you okay?" Elsa asked as she knelt down the floor and cradled his head. Jack was unconscious.
"Ohhh Jack," Elsa said as she stared at Jack's sleeping face, "what happened to you?"
Jack groaned.
"Jack? Can you hear me?" she asked again
But Jack continued on sleeping.
"Let's get you settled."
Elsa he made Jack a bed and a soft cover of sheets within minutes. After Jack was settled, Elsa can't seem to leave Jack.
"Oh, what is it with you that I can't resist? Is it because we are the same? Is it because you can understand me? I can't help but feel connected when I'm with you… I don't know why I'm letting myself pour my feelings out for you. I don't usually do this but you changed my life in a moment." Elsa whispered as Jack continued being asleep.
"Did you know that I missed you while you were gone? Again? I feel like I'm crazy to fall so easily for you but that truth is it's not so easy to hate someone who can make you feel better, encourage you, and inspire you. It's not so easy to hate someone like you. I know you can't hear me but if ever you do just… I don't know say something." Elsa continued and stared at Jack then she suddenly saw Jack's arm scratched. She touched it and then took care of it.
"There, I hope you will feel much better when you wake up." Elsa said.
But then, after a few seconds, Jack started to budge. He opened up his eyes and looked at Elsa.
"Oh Jack you're alright!" Elsa said as she suddenly hugged Jack.
"I'm sorry, I just became so glad that you're finally awake." Elsa apologized but Jack continued on staring at her.
"What's wrong Jack? Do you want something to eat?" Elsa asked.
"I don't need your help." Jack said coldly.
"But I-"
"I said I don't need your help." Jack said and stood up.
"Why am I here? What did you to me?"
"I found you unconscious on the floor." Elsa said honestly.
Jack seemed surprised because afterwards he raised his staff and pointed it to Elsa.
"I didn't do anything to you."
"Then what am I here? How in the world did an ice block get in here?"
"I created it. Don't you remember Jack you-"
"Created this? Are you a witch?"
"No! I. Listen Jack, it's me. Elsa, we have the same powers remember?" Elsa said as she made it snow inside the palace.
But Jack felt threatened and froze Elsa to the wall.
"What are you doing Jack?" Elsa screamed.
"You're a threat. I can't let anyone else get in my way. Only I have the power to create and control snow."
"I don't understand. You weren't like this Jack. You—" Elsa replied as tears were starting to come out.
"I was made like this Elsa. I was made to be cold. I was made to have a frozen heart. I thought you should have known by now."
Elsa stayed there, trapped on the wall. She couldn't understand how Jack has been so cruel. He wasn't like this. After a while, it sank into her "Why did I let myself fall so easily." She said to Anna that she can't marry a man she just met. She should've taken her own advice. She should have never trusted Jack. She should have never let her guard down so easily. But he was different. They connected and she knew that Jack knew it too, or at least the old Jack knew.
