6ish days in between uploads. Not that bad I guess. I dunno. I hope you guys like the story so far. And girls. Okay, so responses. Guest, thanks. That brightened my day a ton to hear what I'm writing is good. Nice to know you guys aren't reading shit and are just so desperate. :D
Selhaizea. If you are very patient and a good girl/boy/in between, you may get a summer scene/few chapter/story arc. You might, it's possible, very possible considering that's an arc I want to do. :3 NO SEX THOUGH! I do enough of that in rps. I would fade to black. Love, for sure. This will lead to being mainly about a ship. Seriously? Has nobody made the, Knight in Shining Armor, reference yet? I'm disappointed in you internet, just disappointed. I wonder if that's an official ship…
Eh, Skarner is just eh in my opinion. I never see people using him anyway, so I figured I'd use him. Yeah no, you wait a chapter to learn about Shyvana, right now, enjoy the stupidity of, well, you'll see.
And on that note, I bid you all a good read, and please, if you like the story, leave a review, and blah blah blah, you know the dam drill.
In the end, Jarvan choose Soraka to help him. At the very least, she could extract the energy from the crystals and be another helping hand. Not to mention, she made some potions in the past for Ahri. Don't ask. It was Valentine's day.
Jarvan stood with Soraka in an explosive proof, bullet proof, rocket proof, acid proof, Jinx proof room. With a hammer, drill, mixing bowel, stirring rod made of titanium, and a burner as well as some other things.
"Okay, so, you ready?" Soraka asked, wearing a surgeon's mask and protective goggles, her hair tied back behind her hair. She had a pair of sweat pants and a long sleeved t shirt on to cover as much skin as possible.
"As ready as I'll ever be," Jarvan said with a shrug. He had a chemist apron on, one of those really thick ones. He had on goggles to protect his eyes and a surgeon's mask on like Soraka as well as a long sleeved t shirt and a pair of jeans that had some holes in them. Those were his 'work' jeans.
They both looked like really bad surgeons or chemists with their blue surgeon's gloves on, which they both were in reality. "Okay…so…hm…what should we do first?"
"You know more about this than I do don't you?" Jarvan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"O-Of course I do…it's just been a while…okay…let's…erm…grind down the scarab bits first. I assume we'll need water for this mixture so she can drink it…so you go pour some water into a bowel, I'll grind the scarab bits."
"With what?"
Soraka giggled as she raised the hammer and Jarvan backed away. "Alright…you have fun with that…"
He could hear Soraka smashing the hammer against a metal tray she had placed the scarabs bits in, the metallic crash with each hit resonating throughout the room. She's enjoying herself, Jarvan thought, before returning with a bowel filled with water. "Did you grind them up into powder yet?"
"Heh heh…yeah…not really…" Soraka admitted sheepishly. "I was having fun smashing stuff…a bit too much fun in fact."
"Really Soraka?" Jarvan shook his head, taking the container with the scarab bits from her and placed them in a smaller container. Taking the hammer, he slowly and methodically smashed them one at a time until they were in extremely small pieces. He placed them in a mortar and took a pestle, slowly grinding it down into a fine powder as Soraka watched.
"Good teamwork!" Soraka said, pumping a fist in the air.
What teamwork? I did it all, Jarvan thought to himself, but said nothing, allowing Soraka the small celebration. "What so we do with the petals?"
"If my guess is correct, we either grind them up, but I think they just burn up if you do that, or you extract any juices from them and put it in the water. It's why we needed so much…I think."
"This could end reallllllly bad if this doesn't work right, and we don't have the correct amounts you know right?"
"Well we don't exactly have a recipe do we Sherlock? We can just dump it all together and pray it works."
"I guess you're right, but that doesn't mean I like it."
"Trust me," Soraka sighed. "I want this to work just as much as you do. I don't like this messy plan we have, if you call it a plan."
"All we can do is hope right?" He took the vials and popped off the top, pulling out the petals with the gloves. He tried grinding it, but it became ash.
"Extract it is!" Soraka said as she leaned over his shoulder, making him jump in surprise as she grinned at his flustered face.
After he composed himself, he gave her a serious look. "No playing around, c'mon now. Be mature for a bit."
"Yeah, yeah," Soraka said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Just trying to ease the tension." She handed him a device that basically had a small slit between two rollers used to extract juices from things like leaves.
It's good to be prepared, especially when you don't know what you'll need, Jarvan thought to himself, slowly sliding a leaf into the slit and squeezing out a bit of juices from each one, gathering up the fiery orange, red liquid in one larger glass jar. He swished it around once it was full, with a few petals left still in their respective jars.
They mixed up all of the scarab powder in the water, stirring it to make a brown mixture. Soraka took the crystals and tapped one with the staff, cracking it and letting a thick red mist come from the health crystal. She guided it to the water, mixing it in to make the mixture a dark red. She added a similar, thick blue mist from the mana crystal making the mixture purple.
"How much of the powder do you think we should add?" Soraka asked, looking to Jarvan with the glass jar containing the liquid in her hand.
"Let's experiment. Just start mixing in a bit at a time, and we'll see what happens."
Soraka nodded and began tipping in a few drops at a time. She stirred after every few drops the mixture beginning to glow and bubble.
The bubbling slowly increased until just when maybe a centimeter was left in the jar, it was bubbiling to the extent where it was ready to go over the edge.
"You know Soraka…maybe we shouldn't add…" he watched her tip the rest in, looking at him with an 'Oh' expression. "…the rest of it in."
The liquid seemed to expend and a giant gas bubble built up, glowing extremely bright from the inside.
"Get down!" Jarvan yelled, swinging his arm around to wrap around Soraka and through the both to the ground while the mixture kept on expanding. It went as bright as the sun before exploding and filling the room with a red smoke. Soraka shrieked for a moment before Jarvan covered her mouth, not sure if the mixture would be dangerous to breathe in. The roar of the explosion went over them and stayed for a while, their ears ringing as the red smoke slowly cleared.
Jarvan slowly stood up, checking to make sure nothing was broken before offering a hand to Soraka. Soraka took it, doing the same slow process of patting herself down and moving slow to make sure nothing was broken.
"Good thing we had masks on," Jarvan said aloud, feeling kind of foolish for having put his hand on Soraka's mouth. "Where's the mixture?"
"I dunno," Soraka said as she swung her hand around the clear the air. "I think it's right here...or at least whatever's left of it is."
Soraka was right and as they approached the table, they looked over and saw a bright red, softly glowing, mixture in front of them. They both stared at it before looking at each other, then the mixture.
"Think…we did it?" Soraka asked as she slowly lifted it up for them to look at.
"I..I guess? It looks like the health potions we take, so maybe? Who knows, we can just hope that when Shyvana takes it it doesn't give her bowel problems or something."
"So, the explosion was necessary…AWESOME! Let's do that again!" Soraka said, bouncing around after she set the potion down.
"…You're really into action and everything aren't you? You seem so much more calm on the outside, you know that right?" Jarvan asked, looking at her in slight confusion.
"Don't judge a book by its cover. Also, Ahri's there, so I don't need to be as crazy. We already have our crazy person in our group."
"True." Jarvan took off his mask and took a large breath of air. "Mmm, smell s kinda sweet actually." He said, before hiccupping.
Soraka took off her mask and did the same, taking in a large breath before hiccupping. "You're right. It is…hm…I wonder if we could bottle this and sell it as a perfume…"
"Stop being, *hic* silly. *Hic* Let's just get going before *hic* something else explodes." Jarvan said, starting to get blurry vision.
"*Hic* "Alright sour puss! *hic* I'll make something else explode if you *hic* know what I mean…" she said, given him a drunken wink.
"Shuuuuh up!" He said, lightly stumbling/punching her shoulder. "We need to *hic* get going!"
"Alright," she said, picking up the potion and walking to the door, swaying her head and body side to side as she tried to stay focused and failed. Right in front of the door, she tried to open it with her foot, and ended up dropping the potion before falling over, passing out herself.
"Heh, Sorakkkkaa, hesh, Sokaks? Herrrro?" Jarvan said with a drunken smile and not so quiet whisper, poking her forehead before passing out on top of her as if they were drunk.
A hand knocked on the door. "Um…hello?" An old man's voice said, worry etched in it. "I heard an explosion…may I come in?"
After waiting a few moments, he called out again more worried. "Alright. I'm coming in…" He opened the door and looked inside the testing room before gasping. He rushed in with his giant clock on his back, Zilean quickly opening the door and pulling the two of them out, covered in a red liquid he assumed was blood but was a potion. He had to take off both of their shirts to make sure they were okay and had no cuts, which was unfortunate for him. Because right then, Soraka woke up. He looked up to see the purple maiden's face burning red since her bra was showing.
"P-pervert!" she screamed, slapping him across the face and sending him flying across the room and crashing into the wall where he let out a soft groan. "W-w-w-hy would you of a-all p-p-people t-try to touch someone when t-they are knocked out! L-look h-how old y-you are for f-fuck's sake!"
He slowly sat up and turned around, Soraka having fixed her clothes. "I was simply checking you for wounds. You were covered in something red which I assumed was blood and…"
He was cut off as Soraka went pale. "Red? Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no." She said as she looked at the entrance, the red liquid all over the floor. "Awwwwwww, shit."
"Language child. Now, what's upsetting you?"
"Well, the red stuff was a potion we made to get Shyvana, the new dragon champion remember her? to feel better. She's sick cause of Talon. SO, this potion was a cure that was a pain to make, but now it's broken and when Jarvan gets up he's going to be pissed and Argggggh!"
Zilean was quiet for a moment before saying. "I can help you."
"Huh?"
"I can turn back time for the object and reset it so that it was where it was a few minutes ago. All in a bowel, or jar or anything you had it in, and in one piece."
"Really!" Soraka ran up and hugged him. "Thank yoooooou! I'll forget about the fact you were stripping me down when I was knocked out."
"I wasn't I was just…never mind…" he said with a sigh. His clock's hands began turning, a soft whirring coming from them before his eyes glowed green. The liquid and broken shards of the bowel rattled before lifting up. As if someone was playing a tape on rewind, the liquid and shards moved as they had when falling, just in reverse till it was hovering in the air.
"Catch it," Zilenan said through clenched teeth, focusing on holding it like that. He let go of it when Soraka had her hands under it, catching it with a smile.
"Got it!" She announced triumphantly. Jarvan began stirring awake, so she waited until he was standing before showing him the potion still okay. "See? Everything's good Jarvan!"
"Huh? But I could've sworn we dropped it?" He scratched his head, confused.
"I mean, we did," Soraka admitted sheapishly. "But then he came and fixed it for us."
"Who?" Jarvan asked, looking around confused.
"Him, Zil…ean?" She looked around confused. He had been there a moment ago. "Well, he was here…we can thank him later I guess."
"Yeah…sure.." jarvan said, shaking his head to clear the fog. "Well, let's get going, we need to make sure Shyvana gets this potion." He grabbed a glass potion bottle from nearby on a rack and slowly poured the mixture into it. "C'mon. The sooner she gets better, the better."
"Yup yup! Say, do you really not have a crush on her?" Soraka teased with an impish smile.
"I do not! Jesus! Don't get as bad as Ahri!" He said, flustered and annoyed.
"Heh heh…you're blushing~"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!"
"Are tooooo~!"
This continued as they walked out of the institute, Jarvan getting more and more flustered as they headed for Piltover to bring the others the good news.
AN: The testing room, was like a glass cube inside the room itself. So that others could watch and record notes while others worked inside the cube, preventing those outside from, you know, dying if an explosion went off.
Sooooo yeah! Another chapter! I hope everyone enjoyed it, I wonder what'll hapen when Shyvana, a light drinker, drinks a potion that made them drunk off of its fumes. Hmmm? Well, I know, you don't, HAHAHA! So yeah, see ya next time people! Don't forget to leave a review, peace!
Edit: Had the same copy paste problem from last time. If you read this when it was fucked up, sorry.
