As Ga Eul took the children to the hospital, the odd couple of Jae Kyung and Woo Bin decided they needed to be else where.

'Kyung-ah!' Woo Bin yelled, scurrying after his not-quite-wife-but-not-quite-girlfriend as she walked a little too fast up the path to Ji Hoo's house. The had decided as Woo Bin was the only member of the F4 who was really in a position to talk to their friend who had been missing for so long.

Jae Kyung looked over her shoulder and stuck out her tongue. 'How is it I'm still beating you when I'm wearing heels?' She asked, pointing to the skyscrapers strapped to her feet.

'Because you have crazy monkey skills.' Woo Bin rolled his eyes, taking a large step to catch up with her. Jae Kyung let out a snort through her nose.

'Whatever slowcoach, hurry, hurry.' She said tugging on his arm. Woo Bin let out a wide smile. Jae Kyung, although crazy, was exactly what he wanted in a woman. He felt blessed that they didn't have a sick child, they weren't on the edge of divorce, and that Jae Kyung was very much alive and kicking.

'I'm hurrying, Kyung-ah.' Woo Bin chuckled, grabbing her hand as they reached the front door. Jae Kyung stuck her tongue out a Woo Bin for a second time. He took it in the spirit it was meant; a sign of affection.

She reached out and knocked loudly on the door.

'Yo, yo, yo! Open up, man.' Woo Bin shouted, knocking on the door again. As soon as he stopped knocking, Jae Kyung started to knock again. It was safe to say they weren't a patient couple.

The sound of footsteps came from behind the door, but Jae Kyung's knocking was relentless, and she didn't stop until the door was moved away from her hand by the action of Ji Hoo opening it.

As he had the day before, he looked a little too thin, his auburn hair had grown out at the top into dark roots that needed re-dying, and his normally sharp clothes had been replaced in favour of a tracksuit.

His eyes widened curiously upon seeing his two friends on his door step. He looked longingly at them. It seemed friendship was something he had been truly missing.

'Jae Kyung... Woo Bin...' he breathed out.

'Yo, yo, man. You look bad. Can we come in?' Woo Bin asked. Ji Hoo nodded in a dazed manner, and stepped to one side of the door frame.

'Just try not to make too much noise. My grandfather and Soo Jin are both sleeping.'

Woo Bin nodded, as Jae Kyung was already walking straight into the house. The house itself was exactly how Woo Bin remembered it. It was like no time had passed at all.

'Do you want some tea or...' Ji Hoo trailed off. Woo Bin shook his head, and smile to try and lesson the tension in the room.

'No, I think we're both good.' He glanced at Jae Kyung who nodded.

'Ga Eul was shoving cakes down our throats all morning. I don't think I can handle anything more, even if it is just tea!' Jae Kyung exclaimed, letting out a loud laugh that made a small smile appear upon Ji Hoo's face.

'You ate breakfast with Ga Eul and Yi Jung? Is that a regular thing? … it sounds nice.' Ji Hoo's smile faltered slightly on the last few words. He felt slightly upset he hadn't been invited. But he guess he wasn't invited to anything anymore. He had run away from the F4, and he was greatly regretting that decision.

Jae Kyung and Woo Bin turned to look at each other at the same time.

We can't tell him, he's having a hard enough time already. Woo Bin told Jae Kyung with his eyes.

We have to tell him, he'll be more upset if we don't. Jae Kyung communicated back.

'...am I missing something?' Ji Hoo asked, his eyes flickering between his two friends. Jae Kyung elbowed Woo Bin. He took a sharp breath in.

'Ga Eul has left Yi Jung. She's staying at our house with Sang Min until she can get back on her feet.'

Ji Hoo's mouth fell into an "O".

'What?' He exclaimed loudly, before clamping a hand over his mouth, realizing this grandfather and Soo Jin were sleeping. 'She left?' He said in a loud whisper 'but she loves him.'

'Yes she does.' Jae Kyung said calmly.

'Then why...' Ji Hoo trailed off.

'Because it seems he doesn't love her anymore.' Woo Bin answered slowly. Ji Hoo frowned. That was all he could do.

'Have either of you talked to him about this?' Ji Hoo asked.

Woo Bin shook his head. 'I'm too disappointed in him right now. I don't want to even look at him… Ga Eul-ah is just so nice. There's nothing she does that's wrong, she was so good to him. So good! She leaves him alone when she knows he's working, she cooks three meals a day for him even though she has a full-time job! And Sang Min! That kid is amazing, and she's made him that way! It's just-'

Jae Kyung pressed her palm to Woo Bin's chest.

'Yah, stop ranting.' She told him, pressing her hand firmly down to calm him. Woo Bin took a shallow breath in. Ji Hoo felt the need to look away but didn't.

'Yi Jung's a idiot who I will beat up if I see again. End of story.' Jae Kyung put her weight on her left hip, folded her arms, raised an eyebrow and glanced to Woo Bin.

'Yo yo yo. Honey don't worry' she said in English, in the style Woo Bin normally spoke in 'I'll seriously hit him for you when I see him next' she returned to Korean.

Woo Bin let out a small sigh before grinning. 'As expected Kyung-ah is the awesomest.'

Ji Hoo let out a small happy chuckle. After years without his friends, he'd started missing everything they did.

'So neither of you have any plans to check on Yi Jung?'

'No.' Both Jae Kyung and Woo Bin said at the same time. Ji Hoo resisted the urge to shake his head.

'I might go see him.'

'Do what you want, Man, but we're keeping away from that retard.' Woo Bin said, flopping into one of the large plush sofas in Ji Hoo's living room.

'Yah! Don't say "we", you can't speak for me.' Jae Kyung snapped. Woo Bin rolled his eyes. 'I'm not going to see him either.' She added in a sweet tone, causing both of the men to laugh.
