Author's Note: This is going to be a twist of Little Red Riding Hood…though I suppose Red: Werewolf Hunter has a bit more influence. It will be different because in this world there are three basic fractions, Werewolves, Sorcerers and humans and everyone knows about Werewolves and Sorcerers. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this.
sp: Thank you. I'm glad Georgina matched what you pictured her as. She fried his brain going in and taking what she wanted. Bart shouldn't have complaints about Chuck and yet...he does. Chuck left his pack and took people with him. Really? I'm always worried on how well I've got the business stuff going on so I'm glad to hear about that. Thank you. I'm really glad you like this.
Hope you all enjoy this!
Schemes and Plans
Chuck stood in the elevator willing it to go faster. Things had been going well with him and Blair but Rachel had sent him a text saying that one of the areas she had come across was filled with werewolves that were not theirs. His first thought was she had become engaged with them however the next message told him that although she had been following the scent it stopped. He was upset that he had to leave Blair but dealing with this threat was important and if it got ignored then there could be blood in the streets.
Of course one silver lining was her suggestion to finish their conversation. Up til then she had been extremely resistance towards him…but when he had her in his office she had been receptive. He was sure she was just fighting it. He could tell that she responded to him much like he did to her. The attraction was there that much he knew from when he first saw her. Now though…she intrigued him. She was interesting and intelligent.
The doors opened and he moved to his office signaling Rachel and Nate to follow him inside. As soon as they got in Nate locked the door. Rachel took a deep breath, "I was looking around and I was almost done with my section when I caught a whiff of something unfamiliar. I knew there was a chance that it was fleeting so I kept moving forward. The farther I got the stronger it became…and not only that…there was more. It's more than one wolf."
Chuck tilted his head, "If you left your section then whose did you wander into? Trace? Suzanne's? Who's?"
Rachel bit her lip and looked down before taking a deep breath. She looked back at him, "I didn't realize until I began looking around to find the street names…"
"Just spit it out Rachel."
"It's…her's." She whispered the last part and immediately looked down at the ground.
Sighing Chuck nodded, "That'll be all Rachel. Call the others and let them know the hunt is over and to go about as normal as they can for the time being."
She nodded and after Nate left her out and relocked the door he looked back at Chuck, "This is not good man."
"I know it's not good."
"What are we going to do?"
He sighed thinking that this was the last thing he wanted to do, "I suppose this is a visit that will have to happen."
"Do you want me there?"
"Close by."
"Chuck…"
"Nathaniel it'll be fine. I'm going to finish up a couple of things here and then we'll go."
It didn't take Chuck too long to finish up the few e-mails that were most important. He then went ahead and checked in the folder to see if his Father had tried to contact him and once seeing the couple of e-mails he scanned them seeing that once more he wanted to talk to Chuck and pick up the phone before he comes over there. Frowning Chuck knew that he didn't want his Father here. He quickly a response telling him he was busy and he would contact him later. Hopefully that would hold him off so his Father wouldn't keep pestering him.
Sighing he was just about to stand up when an e-mail popped up. Normally he would have let it go but seeing as it was from Blair he couldn't help but click onto it. There wasn't much in the body of the e-mail, most consisted of attachments. Her statement was simple:
Thought if you could peruse this on your own time then we wouldn't have to waste time with you playing catch up.
He smirked at all the implications in that e-mail. He did realize that she could be meaning exactly what she wrote however he was sure that her specific statement had been well thought out. She wouldn't have sent something like that if she hadn't meant what it said. Quickly he typed a response to her:
Thank you for your generosity. I will indeed look this over and look forward to spending the time without playing catch up.
After a couple of minutes he decided that though he wanted to sit and wait for her response just to see what it was that he had more pressing matters. Sighing he locked his computer and got up leaving his office and locking it. Nate was in his own office but as soon as he saw Chuck he turned off his phone and got up. He met Chuck at the elevator and after they got in and the doors closed allowing them to descend he spoke up, "So…anyone else coming?"
"I think it might go better if it's just me who goes in there. You know how she can get."
"That's exactly why I think someone should go in there."
"Look if I go in by myself then she won't know for certain if I've come alone or not. But if you show up and she is looking to try and get rid of us then she'd be able to take out both the Alpha and Beta at the same time. It makes more sense." Chuck was quiet for a minute before speaking up again, "That being said I want you to let Max and Tori to set up their teams outside the border but close enough just in case."
Nate let out a huge breathe, "Good idea Chuck."
Turning to look at him he placed a hand on Nate's shoulder, "Relax Nathaniel. It'll be fine."
The elevator doors opened and they both exited. It didn't take them long to get where they were going. Chuck made his way to the house on his own aware that Nate would be there in no time at all if he was needed. He didn't really think they would need reinforcements but then again Nate was smart in being prepared.
After knocking on the door and being let in he stood in the living room looking around. He could spot a few of the things he had traded to her which he had considered meant she could have more power. After all she wanted the items and she was the most powerful sorceress he knew and had heard of it couldn't be only by chance.
"Chuck Bass, what a pleasure to have you in my home again."
He turned toward the voice, "Georgina, I wish I could say it's a pleasure but we both know I'd rather be elsewhere."
She pouted and moved slowly towards him, "I would also say that your statement hurt my feelings but we both know that's just not true."
He nodded. Then looked at her, "So do you want to tell me why there are a bunch of wolves, most likely a pack, in your sector?"
Georgina put her hand up to her chest, "What? Is your pack moving to attack me?"
"Georgina, you and I both know it's not my pack. What are they doing here?"
She moved around him and walked over to one of the windows peering out, "Where's Nate? I didn't think he'd let you go here all by yourself."
"Who are they and why are they here?"
She sighed, "Well if you must know, I invited them."
"You what? Georgina you know that packs do not share territory."
"Don't worry…it's more of a stopping point for them really. They have business to take care of and then they'll be back to the little town they love so much. Or maybe they'll find another town." She turned back to Chuck, "I'm not sure really."
"If it was just a little business then their alpha should have come to me."
She sighed, "You're right. I just figured you were so busy with your Father that you didn't have time for anyone else."
Chuck clenched his jaw, he knew that she and his Father were still communicating and he hated the fact that she could report anything back to him which is why he kept interaction with her to a minimum. He gestured around him, "I know you like this place and you want to keep it right?"
"Is that a threat Chuck Bass?"
He stepped closer to her, "Before you start using anything I would remember that little vault I've got somewhere that has a few items that you want."
"I could just as easily take out someone from your pack…Nate perhaps?"
"You do that and you will definitely not see them again. Now before you start thinking of ideas in order to get to what I have through people around me why don't we take a step back? You know pack laws and though you are not part of a pack you should have allowed them the chance to come forward."
She narrowed her eyes at him, "Fine. I want something."
"What?"
"The ring. It was my Mother's after all."
He leaned forward, "Done. But I'm not meeting at my office." He pulled out something and wrote down an address, "It's a bar. Tell him to meet me there and we'll go from there."
"Of course. And then I'll get my ring."
"I'll get it to you."
"Pleasure doing business with you."
Chuck nodded, "I'll be seeing you."
He turned and walked out of the house and moved back to where the car had been left. A few minutes after he got in Nate entered and Arthur started driving. Nate took a deep breath, "So?"
"Send a message to the wolves and let them know to go back to what they were doing."
Nate pulled out his phone and typed away. After they had all responded he looked back at Chuck, "What did she say?"
"It's another pack. The leader will meet me and talk. Apparently they don't want to stay. It's business."
"What did she want?"
"Her ring."
Nate looked around but didn't say anything. Chuck was glad that Nate remembered that Georgina might still be able to get glimpses of their conversations in the area around her house. That was why there was a whole section Chuck had blocked off from his pack. They didn't go in that section and generally stayed away from right outside it. It was safer and things had run smooth. He didn't want to make an enemy out of Georgina because she was useful. The only thing was her usefulness came with a price. That was why he could never trust her. That was also why he had a few groups that went out and looked for items that could be of interest to her. He also had a bunch of items, none in the same location.
For now they would just have to play along and see if this packs' story matched up with Georgina's and how it could impact everyone in the city.
Blair had begun putting away some of the files that had been out when Chuck had visited. She remembered sitting there while he looked at her work taking his time looking through it and pretending as though she didn't know what she was doing. The whole thing really bothered her and the idea that he would do it again the next time he came especially since he didn't even look at everything this time…that was almost completely unacceptable.
Before she could really think about all the outcomes to it she opened her e-mail and quickly typed up a general statement and attached the few documents he would have looked at and hit send. It was only after the e-mail sent that she realized her message would probably be viewed as meaning something more from him. He would turn it into meaning she wanted to spend time with him. Blair knew that in truth she actually enjoyed spending time with him there was still those times when she didn't and she didn't want him anywhere near her.
That wasn't the issue though. She needed to get something and be done and then they wouldn't have to spend so much time together and she could more steadily ignore that growing feeling that was inside of her at the mere thought of Chuck.
Shaking her head she turned back to the computer and realized that she had gotten a reply:
Thank you for your generosity. I will indeed look this over and look forward to spending the time without playing catch up.
She stared at it and the fact that he had replied so quickly. What exactly did that mean? He had business to attend to and he took the time out to reply to her? She pushed that feeling down and focused on the statement. She had been sure he would have made a very suggestive comment however there was nothing at least at first glance.
Enjoy.
Perhaps he really did like spending time with her? No. He was merely being polite. Although I do want you in my bed again. That statement round through her thoughts as she considered it…it was just the sex. It wasn't as though they were best friends. They hadn't known each other all that long. There was no reason as to why he would want her again or want to be near her constantly other than because of that.
With that thought a myriad of emotions came; glad that she wouldn't have to worry about going head to head with him, sad that she would be losing that interaction, curious as to if there could have been more, worried that there was more just beneath the surface and it could be lost, anger that he would be out of her life for good and relief that things would go back the way they were supposed to which was based on her own plans.
She just wasn't sure which one of those emotions was the dominant one and which one really mattered although a small voice in the back of her mind was going for the fact that there could be something more there.
Shaking her head and quieting those thoughts she instead pulled up some more companies. She had to find something…anything that would help her in getting a better deal. Blair then spent most of the morning looking up that and inspecting the work that was brought to her. Nancy also brought the numbers in and she was able to look over that in order to make sure things lined up nicely. Luckily everything was still going smooth. There were enough funds to cover the slight expense of using another company but it wouldn't last forever.
It was while she was looking at the numbers that she noticed one line that was simply marked 'Z'. Confused she called Nancy in, "What is this 'Z'?"
"Oh…that is a smaller business that Eleanor had bought more recently. It deals in restoration."
"Restoration? On what?"
"Many different things. That was something that made this business unique. They are well learned in many different arts. They buy lots of materials, fix items and then are able to sell them at a good price. It brings in a fair amount of profit."
"Why is it labeled Z?"
"They refer to themselves as Zenith."
"That doesn't make any sense."
"That was Eleanor's reaction hence why she labeled it as only Z."
It was at that moment that Blair was struck with an idea, "Nancy does anyone really know about Eleanor's ownership in the company?"
"I wouldn't think so. The ones present were the owners of Zenith, the lawyers, Eleanor and myself."
"Had she not wanted to go public?"
"She didn't buy it as belonging to this company. It was with her money; separate."
"Then why on the list of these numbers?"
"She liked having it there so she could keep track of it."
"Can you get me the number for them please?"
"Right away."
Blair smiled as Nancy left the room; if everything went as she hoped she just might have worked her way around any problems she had been facing.
"What is this place?" Jenny asked looking around. Damien had blindfolded her after they had met in the café they had first met in. Her Dad didn't trust Damien and didn't want Jenny hanging out with him but Damien seemed nice. Besides in their first meeting she had blanked out with a vision and he hadn't been scared away. They had exchanged numbers and so they talked through texts most of the time. Damien and she had been out together a few times but Damien had insisted on bringing her somewhere but it was a secret.
They were currently located in the middle of a small forest. She was sure that it wasn't just a drive to the woods because there was a bench nearby. The whole place was beautiful. Damien gestured around, "It's a forest preserve. It's slightly outside of the city, hence the long car ride with you repeatedly asking about when we'd get here."
Jenny just smiled and shrugged, "You said it was a few minutes and it felt like hours."
"I suppose then I'm doing something wrong if being in my presence makes you feel like that."
"You know what I mean."
"It's somewhere I like to go."
Jenny looked at Damien who appeared lost in thought. She looked around again and though it was quite beautiful she couldn't quite wrap the idea of the image she had from what she'd learned from Damien to see him as the nature type. Then again she hadn't known him for a very long time so perhaps it was just another side to him.
She knew that her Dad said not to trust people but how were you to ever meet anyone new if you never trusted another? Then again he could be right and Damien could be plotting her murder right now. She shook her head knowing that she at least had some advantage to that.
Damien walked to the other side of the bench and picked up a basket, "Hungry?"
"A little."
"Come on, I have a great spot we can eat at."
They settled in a clearing and he unpacked sandwiches, drinks, fruit and some chips. It was quite good. They talked while they ate and a few times Jenny couldn't help but enjoy herself even if in the back of her mind she knew that there was a possibility that it could end with one vision. She hadn't had a vision since the day before yesterday and in truth it had been a nice day. She hadn't had so many visions so close together before. When she was younger she would have visions here and there, sometimes there would be almost a month between them. Now though, now she sometimes had them a few times a day; that entirely exhausted her especially when they were traumatic.
Lately most seemed to be more of that. Especially with that man torturing people….girls…huntresses. Though she hadn't spent much time with Blair, definitely not as much as Dan did, she still didn't want her to go through that. And if Blair died she didn't want Dan to go through that pain. Watching her Dad try to deal with the loss of Eleanor was painful. She supposed that was just how it was to be. Dan's child would grow close to Blair's and the cycle would start all over again.
A cycle.
Starting over.
That idea tugged at something in her mind, something that she wasn't quite sure she had already known or would know. The only thing she could tell was that it was important. Shoving that thought aside knowing that whether she liked it or not it would make itself known on its own time regardless of what she was doing she focused instead on Damien and enjoyed her time with him.
Chuck looked around the bar; it wasn't too bad it just wasn't to his standard. Of course since it made sense since it wasn't his. He figured meeting in a place he didn't own would make the other alpha feel a bit more at ease and hopefully that would help in getting him out of the city faster…or at least on his terms. Chuck had to pay extra attention to his senses since he had his back facing the door. He hated being in this position but when the other alpha came in and saw that he had his back to the door he would realize that Chuck wasn't afraid and it would set him off.
It didn't take too long before he could smell a werewolf enter the bar. He felt the need to challenge and defend build up inside of him much like when he had gone up against his Father. He knew then that this werewolf was the alpha. He sat on the other side of Chuck and he could tell that he was already tense with that same feeling Chuck had. The dark haired man was looking at him intently before he spoke, "Chuck Bass I assume?"
"And you are?"
"Carter Baizen. Georgina said you would be here."
"Your pack is here. I don't like it when other packs challenge me."
Carter leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a minute before opening them, "It's not a challenge. The plan was never to come here and take another packs' territory. It's business. It's…" he paused and after a couple of seconds continued, "it's revenge."
"Revenge?"
"A Huntress killed a good portion of my pack. Georgina narrowed her down to this city."
"I see. So you're only here to kill the Huntress and then you'll be on your way?"
"You don't have to worry about anyone taking your city. I just want to get back at her and then take her down."
Chuck nodded, "I can understand that." Even though he wasn't entirely close to every member of his pack he still knew them. Last year one of them had died purely by accident and he had felt that pain. Losing a bunch of them…that would not be good.
"I really don't want your territory. It's a matter of revenge and justice and once done we're gone."
Chuck stared at Carter. He didn't exactly trust him but had a feeling that he was telling the truth and if that was the case then he wouldn't need to worry about him much longer. He took a drink and then leaned forward, "Alright, get your revenge and your justice but don't do it at the cost of messing up our existence here."
"Of course not."
"If you need to contact me go through Georgina."
Carter nodded and stood up, "the same for me as well. I'll see you around."
And Chuck sat there forcing himself to maintain a relaxed state as the alpha walked behind him and then out the door. After another couple of minutes Chuck turned back and was able to let out a breath realizing that he was indeed gone. It wasn't so much that he was scared of Carter but he didn't want to appear weak and if he had seen him turn he would have known that he could be.
Blair walked into her…home…it was still odd considering it that seeing as she hadn't grown up here. She set her jacket down and listened for any sound. There was nothing on this floor it seemed and she wondered whether Dan was home or not. They hadn't really talked much since he had told her about Jenny's visions and she knew that if she started talking to him he would bring it up and she would have to consider the fact that something big could be happening.
She didn't need to deal with anything else. Right now she just wanted to focus on the company and her monthly duties as Huntress. Sighing she went up the stairs worried as to what she would find. Would it be worse if Dan was up there by himself ready to pounce on her as soon as she got there? Or perhaps being on the phone with Rufus or even Jenny? Truthfully Jenny didn't call Dan all that much since she was mostly off in her own world so perhaps there was truth. It was just not something she wanted to think about.
Dan's door was open and she peaked in confused when she saw a box on his bed, "Are you packing?"
She could tell she had startled him by the slight jump before he looked up, "Blair. You're back. Good."
"Should I be somewhere else?"
"What? No. I just…what time is it?"
"Not late. I'm not even patrolling right now."
"Right. Of course not."
"Are you packing?"
"No. Why would you think that?"
"The box on the bed."
"I got it. Just some journals that I got."
"Alright, whose?"
Dan was silent for a moment before responding with another question, "Have you thought about Jenny's call yet?"
Blair's mind moved to her thoughts just before she had happened upon Dan. Sighing she shrugged, "I have considered it. I just…honestly I'm not sure."
"Come on Blair. Jenny has had visions before and they've been the truth."
"It doesn't mean I should pin everything."
"That is not the same. Blair…Jenny wouldn't have called if it wasn't important."
"The man can't find me if they don't talk. And not all know who I am."
Dan shook his head, "Blair stop pushing this off. Stop…pretending that it isn't real."
"I'm not pretending. I have too many other things that need to be focused on rather than a dream."
"It was a vision and not a dream. There is a difference."
Blair looked at Dan and she knew that he was right but the idea of a man trying to find and kill her by killing many other people…she didn't like it. Sure she went after and killed wolves but they were animals…at least they were in animal form. But then there was the time after her Mother was killed…she had killed all those people who hadn't been harming others. She shook her head to dispel that thinking and instead went back to the man coming after her. Could she to it? Kill a man? A person? That was entirely different or was it? After all werewolves were human the majority of the time it was just when they were let loose on a full moon.
But if Jenny was right how many other Huntresses had ended up dead because of her? And as Head Huntress she was supposed to help keep them safe. She would have failed. She had already failed. She looked up at Dan, "I need some air. I'll see you later."
"Blair. Wait—"
Blair held up her hand, "I'll be back. Don't worry." And with that she hurried down the stairs and quickly left before Dan could decide to come after her.
Chuck ordered another drink and leaned back in his seat deciding that for now he would sit and enjoy his drink before heading back to his bed. He let his mind wander over many different subjects touching each for only a little bit. He was worried about what Georgina might be telling Bart regarding what he was doing here. Then there was the matter of what Bart was doing and what he really had wanted Eleanor's company for. And of course Blair. Someone who fascinated him and challenged him. She didn't let him walk all over her and she knew what she was doing. Though it was true she fell into his bed already he wasn't sure when it would happen again he just knew that he was going to make sure it happened again.
Sighing he glanced down and realized that he had been there much longer than he had wanted to. He looked down at his glass which was mostly full and decided that he would stay and finish it before taking off. As he was sitting there he heard the door open. Without turning around he could smell who it was. He was now quite glad that he had ended up staying longer.
He turned around and saw Blair already looking in his direction. He could tell that she was contemplating trying to escape but when she realized there was none she looked to the bartender and gave her order and then continued forward and to his delight sat across from him.
"I must say I was not expecting to find you here."
She looked at him for a moment her eyes moving down to his glass and then back up, "Nor I you."
"Oh?"
"You don't own this."
He tilted his head, "Are you looking to buy a bar? I'm fairly certain they're not selling."
"No. I was hoping to find someplace where you wouldn't stalk me."
He smirked, "I do believe that you came here after me."
After her drink was placed in front of her and she took a sip she spoke up again, "Why are you here? You own quite a few bars."
"I had a meeting and this is where the best place for it was."
"Business?"
"What else would it be? What about you?"
She opened her mouth and then closed it and her shoulders fell a little before she straightened back up, "I needed to get out of my place."
"If you need someplace to stay you're more than welcome to come with me."
Glaring at him she sipped her drink, "I didn't say that I wasn't going back there. My roommate just…never mind."
She started to move to get up when he reached across the table putting his hand over hers, "no one else is in here except the bartender. If you need to talk I'll listen." He was intrigued with what could cause Blair to end up here and outside of her home.
The brunette stared at him and he wondered if she was trying to figure out his motive. He kept eye contact with her and after a few minutes she let out a breath, "It was a disagreement in regards to something. I'm sure it's true…it's just a…revealing truth."
Chuck nodded, "And you don't want to admit they're right."
Blair looked up at him, "I don't even know why I'm telling you anything. I hardly know you."
"I'd say you know me well enough."
"One time and I know you well enough? Then I suppose half the females in this city could say the same thing."
He smirked, "I suppose you could."
She rolled her eyes, "I should go."
He knew that his answer before had not been one of his better choices but he also knew that if she had somewhere else she could go she would. He wanted her to stay here for a while longer. He looked at her, "I see you've done your research on me."
Blair tensed obviously not having expected that response. It was quick though and she relaxed before shrugging, "As you said before you don't know me so how can you trust me?"
He moved forward, "I said I didn't know you through business."
"It's the same thing."
"A bit but not completely. Look you're here, I'm here…let's talk."
"I'm sure we'll have nothing in common."
"If you're so sure then I'm sure you wouldn't mind seeing it through?"
She appeared lost in thought for a minute before she responded, "A game? Really?"
He couldn't help his lips curving upwards at the way she so quickly followed his thought process, "we simply will drink when we have something in common."
She raised an eyebrow looking intently at him for a minute before nodding, "Alright."
Chuck raised his hand and the bartender came over and took the drink order. Once he brought it back Chuck looked at Blair, "I enjoy making business deals to my advantage."
He watched Blair frown before she picked up her cup and took a drink which Chuck followed and then gestured at her. She sat there thinking for a minute before she spoke, "I haven't slept with half the people in this city."
Chuck knew that Blair was going to do all she could to point out their differences while he would show her their similarities. He looked at her for a few minutes before saying, "I'll do what I can to succeed."
She pursed her lips as he lifted his cup and she in turn lifted hers and drank, "General statements shouldn't count."
"Shall I do another one?"
"Don't bother. I'll go. I am loyal to my friends."
Chuck watched her eyes widen in surprise as he lifted his cup. She quickly took a drink and gestured for him to go. Chuck set his cup back down, "I enjoy being in a position of power."
Lifting her cup they both took a drink. Blair set hers down and looked around the bar, "Family is important to me."
Once more he registered the surprise in her eyes before they both took a drink. He nodded and then leaned slightly back, "I have lost control before."
This time he found himself to be surprised when she lifted her drink. He would have thought she'd keep everything under control. To know that she had lost control made him wonder when. He was tempted to ask her but he figured she might clam up right then. Although did she consider when she slept with him losing control? He looked at her as she stared back at him and realized that there was another reason for her to lose control.
Blair then spoke, "I want to be in control and decide how my life will go and not what others say."
Blair easily took a drink and only looked slightly surprised when he did. He could tell that she had thought it was true about him and only wanted confirmation. This went on for another hour in which little bits of her personality became clearer to him. The thing was that the longer he spent with her the more he was sure that he actually did indeed have feelings for her and not just wanting her in bed. Not only was she beautiful but she was intelligent and funny. She also knew how to have a good time while still maintaining control over a situation. She didn't back down. She knew what she wanted and she wouldn't give it up as evident by the company.
He realized with a startling thought that he wanted to spend more time with her even with just talking and even with no end point. To be honest he wasn't entirely sure about that idea but…he sighed as she looked at her phone that had just been buzzing.
"I have to go. It's late and I have work in the morning."
"Or you could skip it." He smiled at her and she shook her head.
"I could. But I'm not going to. Just like you're not." He nodded his head and the two stood up. It was silent for just a few seconds before she smiled at him, "I'll see you later."
"How about I give you a ride?"
She debated looking at the table and no doubt considering the amount of alcohol in her body. She must have realized it was not as much as one would think considering and so she nodded, "That would be wonderful."
And then she walked out in front of him and he found himself following her without a second thought.
Blair couldn't decide whether getting in the car with Chuck was a good thing or a bad one. During that game she realized they did have more in common than she thought; she honestly hadn't thought that would happen. Of course it also allowed her more one on one time with him outside of an office or business setting and if she was being honest with herself she ended up quite glad on being able to do so.
She hadn't even noticed the time until she heard her phone and realized Dan was trying to get a hold of her. She was going to just take off but he offered her the ride…and here she was. She could feel the heat of his body right next to hers. She hadn't thought they had sat so close to begin with but regardless she knew that she wanted to be closer to him.
That was a problem.
How was she supposed to stay in control with Chuck around?
She knew they were getting closer to her place so she turned to him and spoke up, "Thanks for the lift home."
He looked at her his lips twitching before he nodded, "Of course."
They were close and Blair honestly wasn't sure who initiated it but soon their lips were touching. She felt his hand cup her cheek and when his other hand rested on her upper thigh she felt herself move closer to him. She opened her mouth and immediately felt his tongue enter. Their tongues started to move together when Blair pulled away. Instead of this discouraging Chuck she felt his lips against her cheek and then by her ear and then to her neck where she found herself tilting her head to the side while he lay heated kisses along it.
She opened her eyes and moved back. Chuck looked at her and she took a breath, "Good night Chuck."
He swallowed and she watched as his hands seemed to want to move towards her but instead he moved them to his leg, "Good night Blair."
She quickly got out of his car and hurried into the building without looking back.
