LAUREN'S POV
"Are you wearing…are you wearing fuck sandals," I asked when Bill was handed the bottle of blood. "And why do you have a bottle of hot sauce on your desk anyways?"
"You are asking too many questions to which I give one answer and that is because I can," Eric said simply though I think he sounded bored actually.
"Let's cut to the chase, shall we?" Bill said stiffly, COMPLETELY IGNORING ME! Jane was right about him being a little bitch.
"You killed a vampire, Bill. For a human-"
I scoffed. "Jane's not even human, no matter how much she seems to think so."
"You're right, but we don't know what that is, now do we?" Eric asked sharply.
Oh, someone's cranky.
"What are we gonna do about this?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"I'll take the girls," Eric said.
"No," Bill immediately replied. "You can have anyone you want…why do you want Jane and Sookie of all people?"
"Why do you want Sookie? You're not in love with her, are you," Eric asked in amusement and yet curiosity.
"They must be protected." Bill answered protectively.
"Now that sounds like an edict, but that couldn't be because I would know about that."
"What's an edict," I asked, I was always curious to know what the fuck Eric meant when he said that in the episode.
"It means an official order," Bill replied to me.
"Oh," I drawled out.
"Admit it," Eric taunted, smirking his ass off. "You love Sookie."
Bill chuckled. "And do you not love Jane?"
"No, I do not." Eric's reply was quicker than I had expected.
"But you care for her deeply and you don't even know it," I reminded him. Eric full on glared at me. "Anyone with eyes could see that so if I were I would be careful, Blondie, because your emotions are showing."
"Is that a threat, Miss Merlotte," Eric asked, letting the threat of my fake name hang in the air as if making sure that I had known that he knew about everything.
I smiled reluctantly. "No. It's not. Just a piece of advice because I may not have enemies, but you probably have lots of them."
Eric nodded. "Good then. Anyways, Jane needs to sign the papers."
"She doesn't have to work for you. I will pay for the damages," Bill told Eric.
"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Bill," I suddenly said quickly. "She has to work for him. Unfortunately."
Bill knitted his brows in confusion then narrowed his eyes at Eric and I. "What does he have on you and Jane, Lauren?"
"It's none of your business," Eric snapped calmly. "Now back to the matter at hand-"
"Little One!" Someone called out in a worried voice.
I smiled happily as I jumped out of my chair and ran out of the office and back into the bar. "Godric!"
I jumped into his arms and wrapped my own around his neck when he swung me around then set me quickly down on my feet, loudly kissing my lips as his hand gripped my hair. Our tongues fought for dominance with each other and since I was unwilling to let his win, we kept up our game for a while until someone cleared their throat. Twice.
I smiled at Sookie sheepishly. "Hi."
"Sam's gonna fry me alive if he finds out about you two." Sookie warned.
"Which is why I will be meeting him tomorrow," Godric told her.
"What?!" I seethed angrily. "He'll…oh my god, he will stake you in the middle of dinner and no one will stop him from doing so considering the last time vampires came into town."
"I'm over two thousand years old," Godric repeated. "I can hold my own battle. Trust me, Little one."
I rolled my eyes. "You say that, but-" I stopped myself from almost spilling about my secret life.
Godric's eyes became worried immediately. "But what? Tell me."
"Oh, stop pulling a Sookie and Bill thing on me which is being a couple of worry bugs, Godric whatever your last name is," I waved him off.
Godric smiled down at me. "Gaul."
"Ga what?"
"Godric of Gaul," he replied impassively as if remembering something horrible.
I nuzzled my nose into his jaw and inhaled his musky scent, slightly smiling like an idiot. "I'm sorry."
"For what?"
I looked up into his face. "For what ever it was that was done to you…I know you don't want to tell me right now, but I'm a very patient girl and I'll wait for you."
Godric lightly kissed my lips and my hands traveled down his chest, towards his pants. I broke away from when him when I felt something strange. My brow furrowed in confusion at Godric's wide smile.
What? Am I missing something?
JANE'S POV
I HATE THIS WORLD!
Why the hell did I have to the one who got the bloody vampire guts all over her?! Seriously, is this my karma or some shit?!
I furiously wiped off the blood with a rag as I scowled at the smell. I swear to motherfucking God that if I get this shit's blood in my mouth then I will chop off Eric's baby making parts-his pleasurable ones!
After I got the blood out of my hair, Lauren casually strolled in.
I scoffed. "Where did you get the chocolate bar from?"
"Break time. Anytime." She quoted Kit-Kats happily.
"Godric is here then," I said as I nodded.
"He knows me best," she replied, still fucking happy.
"Right," I drawled out. "What about Alcide, huh? Isn't he like your one true love or some shit?"
"You know it's really sad how you don't believe in love, Jane. I really don't know what I'd do without it," Lauren confessed.
I looked at her in the mirror, telling her softly, "My brothers ruined that for me...and sex of course. But still I've never really been interested in anyone. I don't blame them for everything bad that's happened in my life, but they...t-they...um-"
"It's alright, Jane," Lauren whispered softly when she came over and hugged me tightly like always. "I understand. You're safe. But what about Eric then...what's with you guys anyways?"
I shrugged and sighed. "We almost had sex but-"
"YOU TWO ALMOST DID WHAT?!" Sookie yelled at me through the door.
I winced. Oh fuck me now...
I quickly walked out of the bathroom and ran around her, back towards the bar.
"Jane Stackhouse, you better be lying to me when you...EW! How?" Sookie seethed.
"We didn't," I immediately lied when I stopped running and turned around.
I am making things worse! Stop it!
"Then why did you-"
"We almost kissed is what I meant and besides I knew that you were listening so I wanted to rattle your chain as most Cowboys say."
Sookie sighed with relief. "Well, that's good then."
"Why's that?" I asked curiously.
"Cause so self-respecting girl would have sex with someone who'll screw anything that moves," Sookie explained.
I stared at her. "Right. 'Cause I'm better than those girls."
"Of course you are," Lauren mused and you could clearly hear the sarcasm in her voice. "Yup. Whatever you say, Janey. I'm gonna go with the boys and see what those two love-birds are up to this time."
"Put these on," Pam ordered as she handed me some black leather clothing.
"Oh, hell no," I exclaimed in utter horror. "I am not wearing whatever stripper clothes are in your hand, Pamela!"
Lauren nodded. "Yeah. I mean there could be…feces on it."
Pam gave a little laugh and looked over at Lauren, raising an elegant eyebrow. "Uh, Fire Cracker, there's vampire in your cleavage."
Lauren looked down and yelled, "Whoa, when the fuck did that get there- wait, has it been there this entire time?!"
I chuckled in amusement. "And Godric didn't even tell you about it. Yeah, he's a real keeper that one."
Lauren narrowed her eyes at me. "If I were you, Jane, I wouldn't fucking judge on who I fucking date? Pot calling the kettle black, bitch!"
Well, that escalated awfully quickly.
"Hey, you have a long, long list of men that were the worst, Ren. I've only dated like two guys. You on the other hand…well, let's just say that I could make an entire football team on steroids with your guys."
"Boo!" Lauren yelled with a pout and threw a paper cup at me which actually missed my head by like five feet. Yeah…she was not good at aiming. "You whore."
"Is that from Mean Girls?" Sookie asked curiously.
Lauren shrugged. "I don't know. Probably. I live on quotes and song lyrics. It's sustains me."
"Meaning, it's her drug," Godric explained beside me. Holly hell, damn him for just popping here and there without any kind of warning to a girl first.
"Allow me," Pam purred and dipped her hand into Lauren's shirt slowly, never losing eye contact with her as she pulled out the bloody flesh. Mmmn, yum, vampire remains…
"Uh, gee, thanks," Lauren thanked nervously.
"I'm beginning to understand the fuss Godric's making over you," Pam muttered softly.
Lauren smiled brightly. "I am indeed awesome as people would say, right!"
I rolled my eyes. "Stop fishing for compliments."
"Godric?" Lauren asked.
"You are everything," Godric complimented as he wrapped his arms around her waist, swinging her around. He better stop before she kicks someone in the face-oh, wait, maybe she'll kick Bill! That sounds interesting.
I felt wind against my arms as cold hands were on them in a second and was being swiftly pulled into another room specially Eric's office to be exact.
I sighed in annoyance. "What is it? What do you want? I was talking to people."
"You were planning to do something mischievous, Whirlwind," he murmured into my ear. "And without me, that's not nice."
"Mr. Brown, I have no idea what you're talking about," I giggled without any resistance. "I am never mischievous."
"Well, Mrs. Brown, a couple of nights ago would highly disagree with that, but onto other matters such as signing a couple of papers for me." Eric reminded me.
"Or," I drawled out with a smile. "We could just…you know."
I let my fingers slide up and down his chest, looking into his eyes. My hand went to his hard jaw as I purposely leaned my body more into his. Eric's chest rumbled with a low growl.
"As much as I would love to continue this and fuck you with blood still on you, you really need to change out of your clothes, Miss Watson," Eric said softly to me. "And sign the papers."
I scoffed and pulled away. "You mean sign over my soul to you, Ric. I'll need to look over them actually."
Eric smirked. "You're right…you're not from this world at all if you are actually going to look and read the entire contract to work for me."
I shrugged. "My father always taught to read something first before you sign it. Besides I don't trust you when you tell me I'm not gonna be pole dancing."
Eric laughed. "Clever, Whirlwind."
"Do you have anything else besides those stripper clothes that Pam had?"
"Why? I think you look fine in them."
"I couldn't give a rat's ass about what you think. I'm not gonna go out in public wearing a corset, Eric." I told him, standing my ground.
Eric glanced around and then suddenly took off his black tank top. I stared at his bare sculpted chest. I was actually more like drooling over how well muscled it seemed to be.
Damn…
I felt hands at the bottom of my shirt and before I could form some sort of protest, my bloody shirt was already off of my body and now so were my shorts. I frowned at Eric as I covered my breasts with my arms. He seemed unfazed by all of this as if it were nothing. I stepped out of shorts and shoes which were black flats. Eric knelled down and then softly kissed my mound.
I gulped nervously. "Whoa, um, Eric-"
"Shh," Eric shushed me softly. "I'm just gonna clean you up down here."
"Wha-oh, my!" I gasped loudly when he licked me through my panties.
I moaned softly when lifted my leg onto his shoulder and then started to lick my wet folds like a starved man.
"You smell delicious," he mumbled in awe against me.
I didn't reply as I moaned again, "Eric…s-stop…don't…yes…"
I suddenly lifted into Eric's arms and brought over to his desk where my butt met the cold wood of it along with papers, but Eric swapped them aside and onto the floor, kissing me passionately. I couldn't believe that I was actually kissing Eric barely even naked with only my panties still on. My hand went to his pants and unzipped them, pulling him out.
He groaned against my lips when I started to pump up and down his shaft. It was as if I wasn't in control of my body and my slutty self took over, but that only happened when I was drunk off my ass. So why am I so responsive to Eric's advances then?
I felt something drip onto my hand and I saw his pre-cum was coming out of the head. I started to rub faster as I kissed his neck, sucking on the skin. When I became horny, I tended to be the dominant one. I am not the kind of girl who just lets the man be on top of her during sex. That would be so boring doing missionary position every time!
Eric moaned loudly as he thrust his hips into my hand causing the desk to shake a little. He looked deeply into my eyes, they were so hunger and lustful as they looked into my own.
"Gods, Jane," he groaned in pleasure as my hand became quicker, wanting to make him lose all control.
Eric grabbed my face and kissed me passionately on lips, our tongues constantly fighting with each other.
Someone knocked loudly on the door causing Eric growl in anger and I think frustration…I really couldn't tell.
"What," he snapped.
"Jane and I need to leave," Lauren said. "Now get off of her, you weirdo. We all can't stay up like you can."
I chuckled breathlessly and Eric whispered, "Finish me."
I nodded and started to continue to rub him, but once again, Lauren's knock and voice interrupted us, "Seriously, save it for the bedroom, you sex addicts."
"She's right," I said softly, remembering who he was and who I was as well. "We need to leave."
"Or you could stay." Eric suggested.
"No. I'm not going to stay, Eric. I have things to do like look over the contract. Perhaps you can buy yourself a whore and finish with her," I snapped callously.
I pushed him away and hoped off the desk, walking away from Eric. I turned my back on him, covering myself as much as possible
I heard a sigh and him shuffling some things around.
"Here."
I turned my head. "What is it?"
"Clothes."
I nodded and quickly put on the black tank top that belonged to Eric and a pair of black shorts.
"Thanks." I said quietly when I slipped on my flats.
"Here are the papers. Read them over and make any changes that seem suitable, but I doubt that I will comply with them."
I chuckled and shook my head. "If you want me to work for you then you are going to."
"You think that you can get anyone to do what you want by wearing a skirt?"
"I'm getting you to do what I want right now," I jested. "See you tomorrow, Eric."
I felt Eric's eyes burn onto my back as I knew he was watching my every movement as I left his office.
LAUREN'S POV
I thought that things could be worse than falling in alligator when I was drunkest that I had ever been in my entire life…but things couldn't be awkward than telling my dream brother that I was dating a vampire who was a million times my age and sitting next to him in the booth in Merlotte's right across from Sam.
"Please tell me that you're just fucking with me," Sam slightly begged me.
Godric tensed next to me though his face showed no emotion whatsoever. I laughed nervously and held his hand on top of the table.
"I love him," I said softly. I turned to Godric, shaking my head in surprise as I was still smiling. "I love you, Godric of Gaul."
Godric smiled and leaned in to kiss me, but Sam's outraged voice stopped him from doing so as he practically yelled, "Are you fucking kidding me?"
Everyone in the bar tried not to look over at our booth, but it was kind of hard considering what had happened a couple of days ago with the other three vampires who were causing trouble.
"You must be out of your damn mind if you think that I'm gonna let you date a fucking vampire."
"You really have no choice actually," I reminded him harshly. "I'm old enough now to make my own-"
"Fuck that! You are still my little sister, no matter what. There is someone out there who is killing people who have been with vampires," Sam whispered harshly.
"You don't have to remind me. I know perfectly well what the fuck is going on in this stupid town."
"Then why are you flaunting it around like some goddamn Olympic trophy," he asked angrily. "You're gonna get yourself killed and him too, you idiot."
Godric growled and I sighed as I heard him say, "I would be careful how you use your words about her. She is far from an idiot, Shifter."
Sam froze then turned his betrayed eyes to me. "You told him?!"
I shook my head. "Of course not. He's over two thousand years old, Sam, he can smell you."
Sam rubbed his forehead and I continued, "Please, Sam. I love Godric. I have never loved anyone as much as I love him. Please accept this-accept us. You are my brother still."
Sam suddenly stood up, running a hand through his hair. "Look, I-I need some fresh air."
I stood up as I pleaded, "Sam, please-"
"Damn it, Ren, just give me time alright," Sam scolded me then walked away.
I felt this sadness wash over me as I watched him then I sat down in the seat next to Godric, staring at the table.
"Oh, fuck," I heard him mutter.
I knitted my brows in confusion. "What?"
"Uh, Lauren, look up," he told me softly.
I widened my eyes as I see Chow, Pam, and Eric staring impassively at us in the booth. Jane is by his side, but she looks actually kind of pissed off at him as she glared at him.
Yup, it's official. No one clearly wants us to be together…
What a bunch of assholes!
TBC…
THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! Next chapter is my favorite because we'll have more of Eric and Jane again with some flashes of Godric and Lauren. Sam and Eric are on the outs for shipping Godric and Lauren together which I find very irritating to write, but it had to be done because it will effect their relationship just like it did with Sookie and Bill once.
Jane is still resisting Eric, but she doesn't really know why she's so responsive to him when he gets her to lose control. She doesn't like it that's for sure. I can't wait to get to Season 2, you guys. I hoped you guys liked this chapter.
REVIEW. FOLLOW. FAVORITE. Until next time…
