Please enjoy - now, I need to get back to class

Severus scowled at the 'guest' and dropped his bag to his defeat.

"No doubts he would consider sending me off to another family." He leaned against the wall and slid down miserably.

Lucius looked at the boy, "Javier? No, he wouldn't give you up for the world." He scoffed, "In fact, I'm jealous of you."

The boy rolled his eyes and hugged his knees. The rich blond noticed how negative he shifted into and it was not like the boy he recognized. He frowned and thought longer. Normally, his friends would joked and resort some form of comments to make him regret his own jealousy. Severus remained silent and that nerved him.

Lucius stood up, "Besides, you must act like a proper pureblood."

Severus shrugged and stared at the floor. If anything, Veela noticed the same behavior between the two and it was not good. He had to do something, if he wanted to win Javier's heart. He walked over to Severus and pulled the boy up by his arm.

"I will not tolerate the lack of mannerism, Severus. You will address the same courtesy and you do to your foster father." The young man lifted his chin.

One eyebrow raised at the older Slytherin, "He's not my father and neither are you." A dry tone hit hard.

Lucius was taken by surprised and thought about it more. He peered down at the small boy and eyed him cautiously. His wand pulled out and pointed at the chest.

"How will you defend yourself without a wand? He cannot save you, Severus, and no one else." His blue eyes narrowed.

The boy stared at head boy and remained quiet. Lucius was not expecting a silent treatment and decided to pressure against the skin to gain the attention. Oh, how much it burns in the Veela that he could not help his lover. Lucius knew that once Javier bounded to his Veela, there would be an increase of magical power and the patriarchy power. Not only would that, having a male partner or lover have control when pregnancy occurs. He knew that much and looked forward to wed his lover in the near future. He deeply desired to have a large family and he wanted to show his lover what he would be like in the role.

A second passed by, the pale blue eyes didn't know where the boy went. He was standing in front of him not a moment ago! He was unguarded by this sudden action and pondered how small boy did this. The veela glanced to his right, not locating the boy within his sight range.

A gasp and tears sounded far off and caught Lucius to direct to the exact location. The boy was in cowering against the door in such fear. His face leaned against the wooden door and hands fidgeting to the knob. The cold crept up on Lucius' cheeks and realizing what he has done!

"Javier!" He cried out desperately.

The blond shook his head, "No! You misunderstood me-"

The door opened quickly as Javier saw Severus in tears. He picked up the boy into a hug and soothed him.

"Out, Lucius." The emerald eyes glared viciously at the veela.

He approached slowly, "But you must-"

"Out!"

Lucius didn't like to anger his lover this way and bowed his head down. He left as quiet as he could, but he hated his own action. He did not even understand what had went wrong and normally, it would have had been the trick. The look upon Javier was a threat, not a warning…Lucius had much to make it up, if he could.

The savior pulled the Slytherin into his arms more and held him as if no one could interfere this time. The boy wept continuously, causing the professor's shirt soaking up, and wrinkled. Javier cradled him and carried him over to the couch. Severus curled up and cried to the point he couldn't control himself anymore.

"…you have your mother's eyes." The grips were fair enough to prevent Harry moving his face, "…so precious, Harry. You are lucky to have her eyes." His voice slowly grew difficult to speak up and the hurt within.

His onyx eyes dripped to close against his will and his arms dropped. Harry caught one of his hands, but couldn't comprehend why he had to say it, especially the pain expressed in the potion masters.

A tug on his shoulder and he glanced up to see his friends, in horror to see such ugly death. A fainted pulse was notice by the chosen one and he took a deep breath. He needed to be quick.

"Let's go, we need to find out his memory he gave us." Harry demanded.

Hermione and Ron agreed as they began to direct their way out and back to the battle ground. Harry stood up and stared at the man bleeding his life away. Something about that look wasn't normal, but he hoped he would survive. He was about to move until something sparkled reflected his attention. Harry stopped and engaged forward enough to find something so…silver looking. He picked it up from the bottom base of the boot and saw a vial. If one thing, the potion master was prepared…he popped the top off and hurried up to pour into the man's mouth.

"Drink it, it's your potion." Harry whispered, hoping it wouldn't be a regret…

Harry kept his eyes closed, soothing the weeping boy, and the whimpering decreased. Somehow, Harry felt the need to cry, but he couldn't…not right now.

"I'm here, Severus," He whispered, "I always will."

The tears remained the same, but it shook the boy up. Somehow, he wished he could have asked…but he knew what Lucius would have turned out to be. He had to be cruel to Malfoy, if it meant to keep the future in task.

The Gryffindor was sleeping well and didn't mind his newly mentor joining in the bed. It only lasted for ten minutes until Severus called the professor's name. If anything, the time traveler did not waste his time and rushed out the door. The crying was easily heard and then, the demand to leave from the veela. He suspected something had happen and he wasn't certain.

His mentor spoke things that were comforting. Or, was it more than that? He peeked out the door that happened to left open and saw the vulnerable side of Severus.

He saw the bond between the two and recognized something, as his werewolf, The Beast, recognized. Remus closed the door and returned to the bed. It was a lot to sink in from his discovery. Last night was exhausting, but unique. No one has ever gone this far for him and trusted him on the secret.

Remus thought about his friends, but he could tell that Severus might be too sensitive, if he learned his werewolf side…perhaps in a later time. If anything, he understood Severus' side, to be a victim that no one wished to be. In all, Severus has someone that would spend by his side forever and Remus knew he has his parents, but they weren't a tight knit like they were used to be. They love him, but afraid of him under the full moon was another thing that separates everything among them.

He was only six years old, but those years were gone and changed everything. He grew up on his own and when he received those letters, he was not certain and he shuts himself in his bedroom for the entire day. Neither of his parents had bothers to check on him or ask. They were too busy searching for a cure until he made his decision and they decided to trust him in his decision. Not once had they cared to see if he needed company or someone to check on him. Perhaps, having a mentor would change things, after all, the beast within him liked the time traveler.

Remus rested his head on the pillow and stared at the dark ceiling, which held the twinkling stars in its magical form. He smiled, now he understood…

He whispered, "Even in the darkest time, there is light." His lips tugged into a smile even more, "Javier, whoever you are in the future, I wish to return the favor."

He turned over and slept in comfort to know there's someone who wanted him. Someone he can count on, depend on, and support him…that man saved him more than he could ever ask anyone.

His thoughts about his Gryffindor friends and the way they liked him for him. They had no idea they were associating someone as a werewolf. However, he was uncertain to approach this personally. He doubted that Javier has a history timeline memorized, but he knew finding out about the future could change things.

"A secret for a secret…" It made him giggle inwardly and slept comfortably under the cover.

Sleep seemed to agree with him for once and he enjoyed it every minute of it without realizing. The crying seemed to finally ended and he wondered if Severus was overcoming the upsetting moment or fell asleep once more. He knew Lily and him fought, but it left a difficult ending…

Lily sat down next to him in the library and set her books down with exhaustion. Severus glanced up, while the rest of the Gryffindors unaware of her presence. She brushed back her red hair behind those ears and greeted the Slytherin with a gentle smile.

"I don't think Professor Lim did the muggle laws a good sense of justice…there's so much to benefit from." She whispered, keeping the library rules at a respectful way.

Severus shook his head, "There wouldn't be anything that can help or sort our wizarding world. Our laws are far different from theirs', Evans."

Her head shook, "We only have magical powers, but there are strange rules to follow, I mean, we are required to only take potions instead of muggles' medicine? I have taken plenty of medicines before, why change it when you can accept either?"

Young Snape stared at her and laid his quill down carefully. He set one of his hands on his lap and focused on her.

"That is because you are not accustomed here yet. Once you used more magic, indulged the potions, and to grow up here, the medicines will no longer qualified helpful. You rely on magical sources to heal properly." He was so quiet, but not much to add in.

The baffled look on Lily was new to see, "Is there any evidence on that case?"

"No, however-"

Her hands slapped the desk, "Then how can you say the muggle laws be any different from this world?"

"Because it is how it always is. Face it, you're a witch and I'm a wizard, we're living in a magical society." The Slytherin justified.

The witch frowned, "How can you stand by something that have no report on the case?"

"Because I already researched it and there are stories reported." The boy picked up his book and leaned toward the pages.

The young witch stared at him…she couldn't even get through this pointless argument. She scoffed.

"You said there is no evidence, but there are stories reported? Why isn't it considered as 'evidence'?" Lily crossed her arms.

Now, the rest of the boys were drawn their attention to their low voice arguments. James and Sirius exchange glanced, puzzled by this sort of conversation, and remained silent. Remus frowned…he didn't like this sort of distraction. He had hoped it would be over soon or he'd hate to break up a fight like this. Peter watched at interests and awed to their points. He, of course, snickered at Severus for failing to explain otherwise. Severus sat back up straight and looked at her emerald eyes.

"You interrupted. There are stories, but it cannot be considered evidences due to the fact those reports weren't under the Veritaserum potion." The Slytherin pulled his book closely and waited for the witch to continue.

"Verita-what potion?"

Severus sighed, "Veritaserum potion is a truth serum potion, it makes you tell the truth and nothing but the truth."

"So those stories are pointless? Why would anyone not try to collect that sort of evidence?" The emerald eyes narrowed at her best friend.

He frowned, "Those stories remains unknown since it did not reveal who those people would be. Those people would be shun for acting like a muggle. We do it the right away."

She was fuming, "And you are too stupid, Severus Snape!"

Lily snatched her books and dashed out bitterly. Severus froze and processed the words in his head… 'stupid'. Remus walked up closely to the Slytherin cautiously and frowned.

"Are you-"

And the boy hurried off to who knows where. Remus stood there, speechless on the behavior at the wizard, and unable to process this reaction. James and Sirius patted his shoulders, ensuring him that he didn't do anything wrong, and Severus has only approached the muggleborn attitude.

The golden eyes opened and realized it was from yesterday. His dream was reminding him yesterday and realized that calling Severus a name might hurt him personally. Lily hadn't known what his father was truly like, so who could truly understand the Slytherin went through. He sat up and yawned quietly. He gathered himself off the bed and walked over to the door. He saw Javier and Severus sleeping on the couch.

Severus curled onto Javier's laps, his head rested on the chest, and arms closely to his own chest. It was kind of the thing that shows the innocent side of the Slytherin that no one had seen…Remus didn't wish to interrupt. The defense professor had his chin resting on top of the boy's head and his arms around the boy's waists. The two happened to be sleeping deeply enough to be mistaken for a coma that could not separate them.

The Gryffindor walked over to the kitchen and glanced around. He noticed the wizard clock that it was passed ten o'clock in the morning. They truly missed four classes and no doubts about others wondering about them. He found food and helped himself without disturbing the others.

"Remus," He whispered, opening the emerald eye on one side, "Did you sleep well?"

The werewolf jumped and saw his mentor waking up, while holding onto Severus carefully. He thought he was quiet enough and apparently, he was still caught. Was it his luck for this week or what?

He nodded and Javier smiled. He glanced down and saw how worn down the boy was. At least, someone had more sleep than everyone else. He knew he would hate to wake up the boy, but the day was still young.

"Severus," The savior soothed the boy's back, "You need to wake up."

The groaning and eyes flickering were enough to inform the guardian of his awaking. The Gryffindor noticed how cranky the boy tended to be when woken up like this, but he decided never to tell anyone about the Slytherin. The onyx eyes opened and found himself in his foster's arms.

"May I go back to sleep?" He muttered, childishly.

Harry chuckled, "We still need to talk, Severus. Why don't you take a shower and join us for breakfast?"

It did not make sense for a moment…then, he knew exactly what the man was talking about! Javier saw the alarming rate in his eyes, afraid of something, and froze. Javier soothed his back and smiled.

"You're overthinking this, Severus. Just get your butt to the shower." The savior shook his head, right now, he needed time to think.

The boy nodded and did as he was told. It was the same habit he presented the first few weeks. There was no chance for Javier to allow this to repeat everything they went through and Lucius screwed it all up. Oh, he was so going to teach the Veela the hard way.

Javier sighed and joined the werewolf at the table with a cup of coffee, merlin he needed it! Remus noticed a different side of the man, but he knew better.

"Is he always like this?"

The savior shook his head, "Normally no, but he's reverting to day one and it's bad enough he doesn't trust me. Now, he's denying anything…Severus is a good kid, I know he is."

Remus nodded, "He is. I think the fight with Lily had scared him."

The time traveler jerked up his head, "You were there?"

The golden eyes greeted the man's eyes, "Yes, all of our friends were. Lily and him were arguing about the laws between muggles and wizards based on potions versus medicines."

A frown grew…so now he understood. He knew Lily, his mother, was still learning and hadn't grasped an understanding and view of their magical world. Now, he has a direct idea on the conversation.

"I supposed to explain a few things, considering he doesn't understand her view. As for you, if you are not ready to admit, you will need something to cover up for today or others will suspect." The time traveler helped himself some tea that appeared at his table, "Do you have some idea?"

Remus smiled slightly, "Yeah, I was thinking of reading in one of the corridors and you found me sleeping there. So, you took me to here to avoid trouble."

Javier was about to point out how wrong it sounded, yet, he suspected Albus would have defended them anyway. So, he agreed with the Gryffindor kid.

"That's good." He sighed, "Malfoy is going to be the death of me."

Remus tilted his head, "Mr. Malfoy, Lucius, Alexander, Erasmas, or Phoenix?"

Javier's face turned cold by the sound of the names of the Malfoy's family. It was bigger than he had ever expected! It was no wonder the man was determined to have loads of children…now that began his nightmare even more. Remus noticed the frightened look on the time traveler and kept quiet, if he wanted the answer.

"…Lucius." The emerald eyes closed, pretending none of the siblings of the veela.

Remus nodded, "Ah, the seventh year. I thought you were referring to the eighth year, Erasmas, he's known to get what he wants and strengthens the family source of income."

If Javier, Harry, had to be himself, he would have freaks out in no times. Ron has never told him about the man's family, so something had happened along the line.

"No wonder. Severus was probably thinking of any other Malfoys are set after." Javier buried his face into his hands, after setting his coffee down, "Merlin, just no." He groaned.

The werewolf tilted his head, "I do not understand…"

The savior glanced up at the boy, "I've been forced to go on a date and have been dating Lucius. Lucius thought I am perfect to be his…erm, wife. I have no interests in marriage with him." He shuddered.

Now the werewolf understood and hummed. He didn't have a hand on suggestion to escape from. He only managed to get ahead on a few chapters, unlike Severus skipped the entire school years. Everyone knew how bright the boy was and focus. He knew this man wasn't bright as the Slytherin…so something was off.

"How are you comfortable with the way he's brighter than you? Or everyone else?" He frowned, he shouldn't have asked and he stammered as he shook his head.

Javier chuckled, "Don't worry about that. I had a bright friend I knew so well, it doesn't phased me. I supposed I'm helping to have some fun in life, so we balanced each other sort of." He shrugged, perhaps he was being silly, "I think, I would place myself into her head and I know what she would be thinking. I'm slow."

Remus grinned, pleased to know there are people who are used to smart people around them, and he saw no difference.

"How about I get the house elf bring breakfast here and we can talk about last night?" The time traveler suggested, smiling to make it seemed like there wasn't an issue.

The werewolf agreed and the Slytherin finally joined. He was casting a spell to dry his hair and tucking it away into his pocket as expectedly. He saw food already there and an open seat waiting for him.

"Severus, eat up. I do need to tell you a few more things." Javier told him, "About some things last night."

The boy nodded, knowing it wouldn't change the truth, and he was going to hear it eventually. He stared at the food, pretending something hadn't happened, and told himself a lie. Remus kept quiet and decided to wait to speak.

The time traveler noticed the fear in the boy, but he understood. To be abandon was a difficult thing for young Snape. He cupped his hands around his mug and thought careful before he spoke the next words.

"Severus, you do understand that you are always my number one priority? Last night, whatever Lucius did, I came to you first. If he had to force me to choose between either of you, it would always be you." Javier bitten his lip, "At the same time, there will be no one ending what we have between us." He gulped nervously, since Severus wasn't looking at him yet, "Remus won't have the same bond as we do. I took responsibility last night that could have killed me, but I protected him because of my action. Last night was not easy, but especially for him." His hand rested on the boy's shoulder, "I'm only responsible to get us through the danger we're still at. He's only a charge, Severus. Not an adoption or a foster child into my care. You are the only child I want and there is no one else I can't talk about Dark Art without the understanding of its importance." He sheepishly smiled, hoping to-

The onyx eyes finally looked at the man. He seemed happy, if one could observe him carefully. Remus smiled, to see this would get sorted out for them, and he enjoyed this decent conversation was going.

"Nothing change?"

Javier smiled happily enough, "Nothing changed."

Severus jumped out of his chair to hug the man. It took the time traveler by surprised, but he accepted it no less. His arms curled around the boy and hugged him tightly.

"Good, now, about Lucius…what did he do?" Javier was ready properly to hex that arse for causing such distress in the boy.
