*It's been a while since I've updated but I sorta had no ideas for this next chapter nor did I have any time with school and whatnot. Also I don't ever know how much information and plot to put in each chapter, so I always have to deal with that too. But, I'm back and hopefully this one doesn't seem like a filler. But I promise the story will pick up again soon. I now know where this story is heading (what a shock!). Thanks for all of the reviews. Please enjoy and review.

highlander348: hmm, I'm not saying my plans regarding that matter, but I have considered your suggestion and all I'm going to say is that I know how I'm going to handle it now that I've mapped out the story.

& kasey123: I'm back with the next one! and hopefully I update this story again soon :)

ElvesAtWork: I like to keep everyone guessing, so I wish you luck in trying to figure out what will happen with everyone. But I am glad that you like the characters as I have presented them :)

Charmed Ivashkov: You were right. I'm glad that someone was :) But that means I must work harder to fool everyone!

lizardmomma, & ObsessedwReading: thanks for the continued support.

At first, Chris was skeptical that the sisters and Leo accepted his story enough. Especially because one minute they were planning to cast a truth spell on him, and the next they were all fighting demons with him at their side. Chris was afraid that something was wrong, that they were under a spell or something, but decided to use their friendliness to his advantage, and kill some of the upper level demons that he suspected to be powerful enough to turn Wyatt. And even though it was weird for him to see his parents not together, or have his aunt lusting after him, this was the most family he'd been a part of in a very long time. He was given a glimpse of what his life could've been like if everything hadn't gone to hell. Over the time that they began fighting together, he began to change his mission. Not only was he going to try to save the family he lost, he was also going to get to know the family that had been taken from him. And even though they didn't know who he was, he was going to embrace all of this as best as he could because if he wasn't successful, then he'd have to go back to a world where they didn't exist. Even if he was successful, that didn't guarantee that they'd be there when he got back. Either way, this was his chance to get to know his family before they were taken away again.

The sisters had their reasons as to why the sudden change in attitude towards the boy. Mainly, they figured that if they couldn't beat him then they should join him. Plus he was helping them fight off demons, upper level ones at that. He wasn't really putting them into danger. And the young witches were gaining useful insight on how to fight demons instead of simply waiting for them to attack first.

Prue was the one most enjoying these little demon fights. She wouldn't admit it to her sisters much, but at times she felt like there was so much more that she could do as a witch and that sometimes she felt like she was being held back with waiting for the power of three to vanquish demons. But now, now she didn't have that worry. Now, she was finally free in a way that she had never experienced before and Prue found herself volunteering more and more for demon hunts just to feel the rush of adrenaline that came with the vanquish. It was the kind of rush she figured fueled addicts, but she was way past the point of being able to stop. There were even times when she went out alone on demon hunts in the wee hours of the morning while the rest of the house slumbered and those alone trips, made her feel like the most powerful being on the planet, one that was damn near invincible, one that could do whatever she wanted to. It was that kind of quest for power in which she never planned to give up while she remained alive. The kind of quest for power that could very well get her killed one day

Piper seemed to be the most reluctant to go on these demon hunts. But she tagged along for most of them simply because she felt a sense of duty to her sisters, that they needed her there to freeze things when everything went wrong. Maybe she wasn't enjoying the demon hunts as much because they effected her relationship with Dan. And her feelings. The demon hunts meant that Leo was around more and more. Whitelighter or not, the sisters trusted his guidance more than anyone else, even Chris' and often they'd call Leo over to get his opinion before heading out. When she saw Leo, her heart would flutter softly before remembering the man that she had waiting for her when she came home - if she came home. The same one she'd have to lie to about where she had been. And instantly she would feel guilty for her feelings for Leo that it would almost bring her to tears. That's why she tried her best to never be left in the same room with Leo alone. Leo always wanted to talk and Piper didn't. She knew what he was going to say and she felt it in her heart, but didn't want the words spoken aloud to her. Because if they were spoken aloud, then it would make them more true and she'd have a harder time denying them once spoken. And she had to be fair to Dan didn't she? Didn't she love Dan? That's why she was still with him even after Leo lost his wings for her, wasn't it? The good thing was that Phoebe was really perceptive about all of this and always came to Piper's aid before Leo had the chance to ask Piper to talk. And with a "we'll talk later, I promise" look on her face, Piper would leave and Leo would sigh, but things remained the same between them and no hearts would be broken. At least not until Piper figured out what she really wanted in life.

Phoebe on the other hand was caught in the middle of enjoying the demon hunts while wishing she could find better ways to spend her time. Of course she still had a crush on the future boy, even after all her obvious flirting and passes were turned down by him, but she hoped to crack him eventually. But the more time that she spent with the young whitelighter, the more she felt like he was still hiding something from them, something she was determined to figure out. Her determination to figure out his secret grew stronger every day, which is why she went on the demon hunts with everyone else. He would have to crack sooner or later, and when he did, she'd be the one to discover it. Plus she also had to deal with the obvious Piper and Leo tension that seemed to come whenever the two shared a room. She wanted to yell at her older sister sometimes for how dense she was. She had one man that loved her with his entire being, the very same one that would come running whenever she called. And yet, she was still hung up on a guy that didn't even know their secret. If she wasn't careful, she could lose them both and end up all alone, something that Phoebe didn't want for her sister. But she was tired of fighting with Piper and knew that eventually Piper would do what was best for everyone - and choose Leo - before it was too late. And if she didn't Phoebe wouldn't object to helping Piper out any way that she could. Even if that meant casting a spell, she'd do it to make sure her sister was happy.

Then there was Leo. Leo quite frankly, didn't trust the boy. He believed that he had an ulterior motive to all of the demon fighting, that he was simply using the girls to vanquish his enemies or something. He still hadn't even proven that he was from the future, which made Leo all that more suspicious. But when trying to voice his opinions to the girls, mainly Prue and Phoebe seeing as Piper never wanted to talk to him, they told him that he was being ridiculous and that he didn't have to worry about Chris. But Leo knew that they were only taking Chris' side because Phoebe was in love with him, and that Prue was becoming a demon junkie, something Leo was sure that not even her sisters noticed. He vowed to find out what he could about Chris, and when he had proof that Chris had been lying about everything, then Leo would kick him out of the girls' lives forever.

Lastly there was Dan. Dan grew angrier and angrier as the days turned into weeks that this "Chris" guy was around. They claimed that he was a relative of theirs and that he needed their help, and only the sisters could help him, no one else. Dan would be fine with that except that this meant that Piper was always being pulled away at a second's notice, normally unable to give a reason why she had to leave. When she got back, she refused to talk about what had happened and instead of fighting he would simply just drop the subject only to have to deal with the same problem later on. There was also the fact that Leo, the ex of hers she called out when she had come to in the hospital, was constantly around her. And who knew what things he was saying to her to win her back. And Dan was never invited to these "family meetings" they held before they mysteriously left, but Leo was. And Dan was more "family" than Leo was, wasn't he? Dan was angry and worried and frustrated about Piper and the situation and simply just wanted answers. Answers that his girlfriend or anyone else weren't giving him. Answers he had to find out for himself before these answers took away everything that mattered to him. Piper.
