"What the hell?" He had heard from Sakura that Naruto stayed overnight to keep an eye on Kakashi and had come by this morning to switch places with Naruto so he could get some proper sleep. He didn't want Naruto to force himself to stay up and take on this burden by himself. They were a team, and Kakashi was his sensei too. He felt like he shouldn't just leave all of the responsibility on Naruto's shoulders just because he had his own team now and wanted to give him a chance to go home and rest properly. What he had encountered when he entered the room however, was really unexpected. The new jonin found himself staring down at Naruto sleeping soundly against Kakashi's chest with the man's arm resting loosely around him. Sakura had said once that she had her suspicions but for the Uchiha to see it for himself was so shocking that he couldn't move. How no one had seen this and made a commotion yet, he was unsure. Gulping, Sasuke moved forward and poked Naruto in the shoulder gently, only receiving a small groan before the other nuzzled further into the man's chest. Kakashi, however, still slept without any visible movement. Trying again, Sasuke poked Naruto's shoulder a little harder.
"Naruto...you better get up before someone sees this and starts trouble." He expected movement but had received nothing this time and had resorted to pulling on the genin's cheek hard enough to wake him before whispering harshly.
"Wake the hell up usuratonkachi! I am trying to save your asses here!" Finally, that had gotten him somewhat of a reaction. Naruto's eyes opened slowly as Kakashi's arm slipped off of him and he groaned softly.
"I don't think you two were seen like this yet but if you were, Sakura would lose it so get up." Slowly, Naruto sat up and yawned as Kakashi rolled over onto his side with his arm draped over the other's lap.
"Huh? Sasuke?" Crossing his arms, Sasuke raised an eyebrow and waited for the blonde to realize the situation he was busted in but after a few moments of silence, the boy still did nothing.
"You aren't even going to give some lame excuse about this?" Naruto shrugs as he slips off the bed, earning himself a low groan from Kakashi as his arm slipped onto the bed and the spot next to him became vacant and cold; yet lingering with the boy's scent.
"What's the point? I do this often with Kakashi-sensei because when I do I don't have nightmares. It isn't like we're doing anything wrong."
"Nightmares?" A yawn was his response before Naruto gave a stiff nod and slipped on his shoes.
"Yes...wait...how did I get in the bed? I was sitting in a chair last night."
"You crawled in at random in the middle of the night." Both boys turned to find Kakashi still resting his head on his pillow with his original eye open and resting on Naruto who was now blushing.
"O-Oh, sorry." Rubbing the back of his neck with an awkward laugh, Naruto looked away, Sasuke still watching as Kakashi closed his eye.
"It's fine. It isn't the first time you have done it. You often show up at my home in the middle of the night and ask to sleep with me. I am pretty sure you aren't fully awake at any of those occurrences." Sasuke raises an eyebrow as he watched Naruto's face redden further and Kakashi smile with a light chuckle.
"It sounds like this has been going on since before Naruto left?" His sensei sits up slowly with a soft sigh before he leaned against the pillow after Naruto readjusted it for him.
"You don't have to say it with such a judgmental tone you know. He was having nightmares that were preventing him from wanting to be home alone and so he had asked if he could stay with me so someone was there for him. It just so happens that I actually was able to stop them. We have tried to see if he could be fine without me now but as I had said, he always finds his way back to my home."
"That explains why I always wake up there..." Ignoring the idiot's mumble, Sasuke sighed as he shook his head.
"Well you need to be more careful Naruto. Do you know how much trouble would be caused for Kakashi if someone saw that? You may be a lot older now, but you are still under aged." Though he looked grumpy from being woken up still, Naruto nod before stretching out with a loud yawn.
"Thanks Sasuke. I owe you one."
"Right. Well, just try to be sure you don't do this again at least while Kakashi is still in the infirmary. Sakura works here on her free time so she plans to keep an eye on Kakashi. You know her big mouth sometimes. She'll hound you both for days if she finds out. I can try helping out in the mornings, but I can only do that for so long Naruto. Try to have more restraint dobe so I don't have to cover up your idiocy." Naruto, though he stuck his tongue out in response to the names, gave a small salute to show that he got it before Sasuke nod and turned on his heels to leave the room. With Naruto seeming to get some sleep last night, it looked like he didn't need to relieve him of his post. Back to home and more specifically, his bed, he went.

"Hah?!" The twitch of his eye and the red on his whiskered cheeks made the jonin smirk as he crossed his arms. Teasing the boy seemed to be more enjoyable than he thought.
"I said you took advantage of me while I was weak. I tried to wake you but you completely ignored my warnings and forced me back down." Looking guilty, Naruto claps his hands together and bows as he squeezes his eyes shut.
"P-Please forgive me Kakashi-sensei. I really could have started trouble for you after all." Sighing, Kakashi reached out and grabbed the other's shirt before pulling him down to sit on the bed next to him. With a sigh, Naruto fell back, his head resting on the man's lap before Kakashi brushed his bangs back.
"It is fine Naruto. Though Sasuke may be right about me getting into trouble, I really don't mind. If I did, I would have put a stop to it a long time ago. I actually enjoy having you around so much, your company is appreciated." The way the boy's face lit up happily as if he offered him a bowl of ramen, made the man's heart beat a little faster. This kid...honestly...he was going to be the death of him one of these days.
