Go, or not go?

Waking up Mika would annoy him. He has yet another meeting tomorrow.

But I really gotta go.

You can hold it.

The water closet is just down the hall.

But anything can happen.

But it's the dead of the day.

Arra sighed, decision made. She would go to the bathroom alone, but she would go really quickly. She'd be fine, right?

Creeping down the hall, she found the door marked WC and releived herself, careful not to fall in. How embarrassing would that be? Nobody would take her seriously after that. Exiting the watercloset and padding quietly down the hall in her socks, she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. Whipping around, a hand was clamped over her mouth and she was slammed against the wall, hitting her head.

"Don't scream, you'll wake them all," a rough, deep voice whispered. She lashed out with her fists but he was a full vampire and caught her wrists, pinning them to the wall above her. Heart thudding frantically in her chest, she squirmed and struggled. "You'll just tire out and make my job easier." There was a soft laugh. Already Arra's cheeks burned with shame. Why couldn't she have just held it for an hour or two more? Why didn't she wake someone up? The hand on her mouth was taken away. "Don't make one sound or you're dead."

Help me, please.

Her mind cried out but her voice couldn't. Tears sprung to her eyes as she felt his other hand pulling up her shirt...

And then she jolted awake, gasping for air, tears running down her face. She bit back a frightened sob as she clutched the sheets in her fists. She willed herself to stop shaking, but it had scared her. Her heart was beating in her throat and she knew she wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep. She would've gone to get a drink of water, but that was even further than the watercloset and if that dream had taught her anything, it was 'no midnight excursions'.

So she curled up, pulling the blanket over her head, and tried to go back to sleep.
