"Harry this is your room," his mum smiled down at him as he looked up at her while she was speaking. This couldn't be his room could it? It was amazing, it looked like a forest and the ceiling looked like the night sky. He took a step inside the room clinging on to his parent's hands they followed. The room was like something he had only dreamed of, it was so peaceful and yet there almost seemed to be something missing.

He jumped and spun when there was a voice from behind him, "Harry last night we adjusted the room to reflect something that would be possible in the Muggle world. We were going to let you sleep here last night but then we couldn't bear to let you sleep here alone on the first night we had you back. It also prevented us thinking that it had been all a dream."

He couldn't do anything but stare at his dad slightly confused, could this be what he could feel was missing? He frowned "How did you change it dad?" As the last word slipped out of his mouth he went rigid trying to call the words back although he knew it was too late. Despite the words earlier it just didn't make sense to call them mum and dad, he was waiting for his punishment but all he received was a beam from both his parents. Maybe they really meant it. This was an odd experience for him even as he thought back to his aunt and uncle to see if there had been any times when they were nice to him for real and not as a trick, but he knew it had never happened.

He looked back up to see his dad was gesturing him to come over by the wall where he was standing slowly he crept over there. Once he was standing in front of his dad; there was movement and he was lifted and balanced on his dad's hip. Harry jumped startled then looked in front of him at the wall where there was a small key pad with numbers and two switches one above and the other below the key pad.

"Here this switch will change the ceiling from a night sky to a day sky where the weather of the day will be shown, and then this key pad allows for changing the walls there are 100 options numbered from zero to ninety nine. This switch below the key pad lets us change whether the scene is Muggle or Magical. You will be able to decide how you want your walls to look and we can fix any furniture to be that particular theme." He listened to his dad carefully then nervously reached his hand out to flip the switch at the bottom, hearing no protests he also flipped the switch at the top then turned his head to view the results. It was amazing and just what had been missing. The trees in the forest were now moving, swaying in a breeze, there were animals popping up here and there, then going back into hiding. Above him, the sun was shining surrounded by white fluffy clouds. His face lit up and he returned the smile directed at him from his dad who was looking around in approval.

"Would you like to see other things that the walls can look like or leave them how they are for now?"

"Leave it how it is for now." His voice was soft; and he was gently lowered to the ground.

" We thought that you may want to get dressed for the day?" Lilly said, her voice soothing, and soft like the wind gently blowing the leaves in a forest.

"Really? I get clothes too?" The shock in his eyes made James and Lilly want to go back and curse the Dursleys even more.

"Yes sweet heart you get clothes," she wanted to add something on the end but barely restrained herself, as she walked to the wardrobe looking for the smallest set of clothing hanging. Quickly they changed harry into a pair of blue jeans and an emerald green button down shirt that matched his eyes. Harry just stood there watching in shock as they dressed him as a girl would a doll. He was in a daze, he got to wear clothes, and that they weren't like a tent, or stained or threadbare. They looked like new clothes and felt so soft and comfortable. He didn't need to worry about the jeans falling down or tripping over the extra fabric as he walked because it wasn't there.

"Harry, do you want to explore your room and play while we sort out a few things, if you need anything you can just call for service and ask the elf to get us?" His mum's voice was gentle and soothing but slightly questioning. For a moment, he wondered if he said no whether they would still leave him here while they did other things, but he wasn't willing to risk it he just nodded. He received a smile and they left the door closing soundlessly behind them.

He spent time exploring the room and discovering the toys, games and hidden places where he could hide if he needed to. He was shocked to find a bathroom the same size as the Dursleys, then amazed he found the clothing all hung neat and tidily it wasn't huge and would be close to fitting. There was a light in the closet and after choosing what looked like a magical book from the bookcase he settled down on the wooden floor curling himself up to read the book which was called The Beadle and the Bard. He knew this would help pass the time until his mum and dad returned from the things they had to do. He didn't even notice himself dozing off into sleep. His socked feet curled up and his knees crept up to his chest as he slept

James and Lilly exchanged worried looks as they left their son's bedroom but they knew the sooner they got certain tasks done the sooner they could be back happily with Harry the elves would keep an eye on him for anything dangerous. They were slightly worried however, how did they explain to their son that they had other children after harry twins, a little girl called Holly and a boy called Sebastian. They knew the baby sitter would be getting grumpy. James and Lilly were informed before they left that there would be a switch over to another baby sitter if they were out past a certain time. Although they knew the name of the man they were a little uncertain about leaving their children with someone they hadn't met, but then they were worried about leaving their children with any muggles who seemed to be the only choice because of accidental magic. They quickly left the manor and outside the wards, apparating to a place near the small home they owned in North London. Apparating in one place too frequently could draw suspicions now that the Aurors kept an eye out. It had started while Voldemort had power and his Death Eaters were causing a huge amount of chaos in the muggle world and had continued because the ministry wanted to keep an eye on the numbers of those living in muggle areas.

The pair walked hand in hand to the front door of the red-bricked three-bedroom house that they had lived in for so many years while searching for Harry. They opened the door, ignoring the creek that had been their warning sign of anyone coming near and walked inside the room. James noticed first how John Moon the baby sitter who they hadn't met looked like they had imagined Remus Lupin would look when older. Neither could do anything but stare at the man who sat on the Lazy Boy leaning back both children sleeping in his arms while he slept himself. James looked questioningly at his wife wondering if it was just his imagination but her expression was just as questioning. They realised after a moment that they would be better off knowing rather than standing wondering.

Slowly they approached the Lazy Boy; from similar experiences with Remus and Harry when he was babysitting, they knew that if they picked the children up he would be instantly awake. James collected Holly who was on the right while Lilly collected Sebastian. There were amber eyes fixed on theirs instantly a furious expression on the man's face but after a moment it faded to a confused expression.

"James? Lilly? Is that you?" Even as he spoke it confirmed their suspicions Remus' expression turned to one of hope.

"Yes Remus it's us. May I ask how you got into babysitting?" James' voice was almost teasing as he tried to hide his concern of how one of his best friends one of the best in their year had migrated into the Muggle World; and gotten such a low paying job.

"The Magical World has changed a lot since Voldemort disappeared. There are a lot more restrictions on those such as myself who due to being a non-human of a creature seen as being dark. I had to register and tell any employers in the Magical World that I am a werewolf as well as not being able to publish any books, study for masteries in Britain. It was easier to just go to the Muggle World, get my muggle qualifications, and avoid the Magical World. Babysitting is my way of surviving until I can finish my education, I have been working for years but it isn't easy with working as well. I'm nearly finished now which should be good. Now it makes a lot more sense now why I saw these children as cubs, I have spent a lot of time last night trying to come up with a solution."

"Remus actually we were sorting out things so that we can move back into Potter Manor would you come with us?" Lilly's voice made James and Remus jump. They had been so absorbed in their conversation that they had forgotten Lilly was standing there too. James looked back at Remus hoping that he would accept. He knew he wouldn't if he saw it as charity and so he searched his mind trying to come up with a solution and it appeared when he thought of Harry back at home playing. From the expression on Remus' face it was just in time, he could see that his friend was about to open his mouth and refuse.

"We need your help Remus, we just rescued Harry last night from Petunia and her Husband , he isn't in great shape and we have these two as well we can't possibly manage alone. You would be helping us, and we may need help teaching Harry as well as looking after these two." James knew he had a pleading expression on his face but he couldn't help it. Finally Remus relented nodding and they both smiled brightly.

"If you go home and pack and quit from your job and sort everything else you need to do and go to Potter Manor, you'll find that the wards will still accept you, one of the elves will meet you there and take you to your suite."

They received a nod and Remus got carefully to his feet and after collecting books that he had brought with him, quietly left the house the door creaking open and then shut behind him.

James couldn't help it, a bright grin appeared on his face, they had found Remus, and Remus would know where Sirius was and may have an idea where they could find Snape. He didn't want to find him but had always felt a bit guilty of the way the Marauders had treated him and in a way caused the destruction of the friendship between Severus and Lilly and all the consequences that occurred because of it. Soon they would all be able to live in peace as a family Lilly, Remus, Sirius, himself, Harry, Holly, Sebastian and hopefully Severus.

"Right lets' get everything we need packed and prepare the house for storage just in case it is needed at a later point. Then we can get home and talk to Remus." Lilly just nodded and walked to the bedroom to place Sebastian in his cot, James followed; and they began cleaning doing as much as possible without magic. The less they used the less noticeable the house would be to the ministry as being inhabited by magical people. The last thing they did before leaving was placing some minor charms on the building to make it seem as if people were living there but out at the time. They walked away without looking back searching for an unwatched sheltered place where they could apparate back to the Manor with their important belongings shrunken inside pockets, twins in their arms.

I believe that many are confused why i changed the ages- it will become clearer later on according to my plans for the story... although it does seem to be gaining it's own mind and trying to take off as you have seen here... I'm sorry about the delay i never really thought that doing an extra paper during summer would take up so much of my time (i should have really thought through the maths a normal semester paper done in 6 weeks hmmm lol)

As usual please point out anything noticeable as it hasn't been beta'd
