Hiccup had asked Merida to marry him. She accepted.

The only problem was, neither knew that the other loved them.

The proposal went something like this.

"How can we get Astrid to stop?!" Merida yelled angrily. She was swinging her sword around her so Hiccup stayed back.

"The only way to stop her marrying me is both we run away and never make stops anywhere she or my father could know anyone or I get married." Hiccup said. He and Merida both knew that his father's kingdom went further than the eye could see, other than Merida's father's kingdom. The only safe place for them would be her castle; the town surrounding it would be full of spies.

"OK, well, I think I have the answer."

"What is it?" Hiccup couldn't read her facial expressions.

Merida knelt down on one knee. She knew she loved Hiccup, yet she couldn't let him know. That's why she proposed

"Will you, Hiccup Haddick, marry me?" Merida said.

"Wait, if we are going to do this than we are going to have to do it right." Hiccup said. He copied the gesture and let Merida stand up. He knew she was doing this for him, he couldn't let her know it was because he loved her.

"Will you, Merida, marry me?" Hiccup was blushing like crazy when she accepted.

"Now we have to go to the only place I know safe. Which means you have to meets my parents."
