Hello all my lovelies!

Welcome to Chapter 11, which means one more chapter to go!

This is one of my favorite chapter I've ever written!

Also, my favorite scene ever, which I had wrote way back when I was only on chapter 4.

This is another very Triggering Physical and Emotional chapter so please be warned

And with that...I give you another emotional mess ;)

Welcome to The Mess I Made in the Tried & True Series!

Please Don't Go

Get these left handed lovers out of your way
They look hopeful but you, you should not stay
If you want me to break down and give you the keys
I can do that but I can't let you leave

Oh, please don't go
I want you so
I can't let go
For I lose control

Isaac had only been completely terrified a few times in his life. A handful that he could name each time on his fingers. One was when his father locked him in the freezer for three days; he had thought he was never going to get out. There was also the time when he was first turned by Derek. And the time the man from the military came knocking on their door telling them that Camden had died.

But Cassidy missing…that took a whole new level. He didn't understand how they lost her. But he was becoming angrier as they continued to explain to him what had been happening.

"You did what?" His voice sounding clenched as he heard about the talk they had the day before. They were currently in the Snyder's backyard, trying to keep the family at bay for the moment but they could see Andy peeking out of his window. "You locked her in a room?"

"We didn't know what else to do." Kira tried to explain, but Isaac was fuming.

"You don't trap her! That's the worst thing to do with her condition."

Liam raised his hand. "If it makes it any better I didn't want to do it."

"It doesn't." The two betas had just met each other and it wasn't starting out well. The two boys had known of each other because of Cassidy but the mediator, her, wasn't there.

"Isaac, no offense, but you haven't been here. You don't know how she's been." Scott mentioned. "She has refused to just talk to any of us."

"And why was it like that?" Isaac looked back and forth from Lydia to Stiles knowing they would hopefully know the best. "Lyd, she was fine when you guys left France. What happen?"

Lydia hesitated. She didn't know what Cassidy had told him but she was guessing by the fact that he hadn't thrown Stiles into a wall yet he didn't know about what happen when the girls returned home. "Stiles…" She looked at her friend knowing this was his story to tell.

Stiles' eyes widened at her calling him out. He was going to get his ass kicked when Isaac found out.

"Stiles?" Isaac crossed his arms over his chest.

"She found Malia and me together."

He barely had time to finish the sentence before he was being pushed into the side of the house. Isaac's hands gripped Stiles collar tightly as he continued to trap him against the wall.

"The coyote? The one that Cassidy had been threatened by since she showed up?"

"I didn't-" He couldn't finish before he was being thrown hard into the wall again.

"What the hell is your problem?" The werewolf yelled in his face.

"Isaac, stop." Scott pulled the beta away from his best friend.

Isaac stayed back but he didn't stop yelling. "To think I actually trusted you with her!"

"She broke up with me!" Stiles pushed himself off the wall, feeling the bruises already starting on his back.

"Is that all you can say, Stiles? You always had a problem with me but I put that aside because I thought you actually cared about Cassidy."

"Care about her?" Stiles was ready to prove just how much he cared about her. Still cared about her. "Who was there for her when you pushed her away when you turned? Who was there for her when she started having to double her doses? Who was there for her when she was crying because her best friend left the country? I was!"

"Then why did you run to Malia?"

"It was stupid and it was selfish, I know. But that doesn't matter anymore."

"What do you mean it doesn't matter anymore?" Kira questioned. Despite everything that was happening, Malia was still her friend. One of her best friends.

"We broke up." Stiles shrugged.

"When?"

"Right before I showed up." Isaac put two and two together.

Kira nodded and bit her lip. "Look, I love Cassidy, but Malia's my friend too." She looked at all of them. "I need to make sure she's okay."

Scott nodded, knowing his girlfriend was trying not to sabotage their friendship. "You go. We'll call if we hear anything." He gave her a quick kiss before she ran around the house to leave.

Isaac was still glaring at Stiles which made him roll his eyes dramatically. "You can stop giving me the death glare now."

"I'm seriously pissed at you right now. Why did you even get with her?"

Lydia raised her hand shyly. "I would like to know to."

"Me three." Liam nodded.

Stiles looked over to see Scott not saying anything but desperately wanting to. "I was upset and angry about the break up." He ran his hands down his face. "Malia was just always there and it seemed like she cared about me. One thing led to another and we began something. It took my mind off of Cassidy cause I thought she didn't care about me anymore."

"That's not true." Isaac shook his head, his expression lightening.

"Obviously." Stiles stated annoyed. She wouldn't have said she loved him last night if that was the case.

"No, I mean she thought about you still while she was in France and she was going to come back home and tell you she messed up."

Stiles remembered back to the night she showed up in his room. While he was trying to forget about her, she was coming to get back with him. Or try to.

"You were just too busy thinking with your dick. Not the Stiles who use to think about her first." Isaac growled and pushed past him to go back into the house.

Scott, Lydia and Liam stayed quiet, not knowing what to say after that. Stiles shook his head and started walking away.

"Stiles, where are you going?" Scott called out to him.

"I need to find her."

"You're just going to drive around until something pops up?" Liam looked at him as if he was crazy.

"If I have to. Call me if you hear anything." He kept walking to his Jeep. He pulled himself into the Jeep and sat at the wheel for a few seconds thinking. If he would have just said no to Malia like he wanted to, if he would have just stayed in the room when Cassidy told him to leave, she wouldn't be missing right now. He beat his fist again the steering wheel hard. It didn't help anything but if felt good to get some anger out.

She wouldn't have spiraled out of control like she had. She wouldn't have met that Travis guy.

Stiles stopped all movement as the name ran across his mind. Travis. Why hadn't they thought about him? "Shit." He turned his Jeep on and immediately called up his dad to get the kid's address.

The other three were still quiet in the back. Scott and Lydia were used to the usually act between Stiles and Isaac, Liam on the other wasn't.

"Where's he going to look at 1AM?" the beta questioned. "Nothing's open."

"That's Stiles for ya."

Cassidy was exhausted but too on edge to actually get some sleep. Her knees started to burn from being in a sitting position for over twenty-four hours. Her wrists were raw and have started bleeding from her pulling and tugging. She refused to scream because she didn't want them to find her. She didn't want to get her friends hurt because of her.

She heard movement upstairs. She guessed it was Travis walking around or something. She hated to admit it but she felt bad for him. That had to be a horrible sight for him, seeing his brother killed, but that still didn't mean he had to do this.

Something that he said stood out in her mind. He said red eyes. The eye color of an alpha. It was a few years back so did that mean it was Peter or maybe one of the ones from the alpha pack. Or was there yet another alpha running around they didn't know about? She was curious. Beyond curious.

"Travis!" She yelled the boy's name the best she could with her sore throat. She continued to hear noise above her. "Travis!" Her voice louder this time. She heard something drop with a loud thud and footsteps coming towards the door.

"What!" He growled, clambering down the steps.

"I have a question?" She shook her head back to get the curls out of her face.

"Of course you do." He sighed and went back over to the table that he had thrown the bags on.

"Do you know who the werewolf was that killed your brother?"

"Why do you care?" He unzipped the first bag and started pulling out guns and ammo, reminding her of when Braeden first started training her. At the thought of where she was now, she felt like she let her down.

"Because you said red eyes right? You saw red eyes?"

He stopped working and leaned his hands against the table to look at her. "Yeah, bright red eyes."

"An alpha. It was an alpha. Do you know if it's still alive?" She was proud of her detection of putting the scenarios together. Stiles rambling had obviously stuck.

"I don't know. He was fully transformed." Travis thought back to that night. It always made him grit his teeth. "He could be still walking around in human form and it makes me sick. That's why I need to kill all of them. They are all responsible." Travis picked up a gun and loaded it.

"What if I know who did it?" The gun made her nervous in his hands but ignored it. "What if I think I know who did this?"

"Who?"

"Peter Hale." It would make sense with the timeline of the events.

"But you don't know for sure." He started loading more guns.

"It's the only thing that makes sense during that time." She winced as she moved her wrists harshly against the braces.

"Doesn't matter. Everything supernatural needs to be killed."

"That's not true." Cassidy shook her head.

"Really?" He picked up the knife again and walked back over to her. He gripped the side of her shirt and cut it with the knife straight down. "Then what about this?" He ran his fingers over her scar.

She closed her eyes in disgust at him touching her but also touching the pink line.

"You could have died because of these things. Don't you want revenge?" He held his palm over her skin and it burned her at the touch. She wanted to move away from him but the knife was still too close for comfort.

"No." She whispered.

Without hesitation, he took the knife and cut the scar open again. Cassidy cried in pain, no adrenaline going through her this time to not feel the pain like the first time.

"What about now?" She didn't answer him just cried. "No?" He didn't like that answer and sliced her skin again.

"Stop! Please!"

Bright lights passed through the windows and left, catching Travis' attention. He pulled away from her and walked over to the small windows at the top of the wall. He looked outside with a smile on his face at the sight.

"Looks like your knight in shining armor is here." Travis looked back over to her still smiling. "Or should I say ex-lover in a shitty Jeep."

"Please, please don't hurt him." The mention of Stiles pushed the pain she was in away for the time being.

Travis chuckled and set the knife back on the table. He grabbed one of the guns and put it in the back of his waistband. "Scream once and I'll kill him. Do you understand?"

She kept her mouth shut but nodded her head fast in understanding. She watched him climb up the stairs as the doorbell rand from upstairs. She looked down to see her stomach bleeding rapidly and seeping in to her jeans. The pain was overwhelming but she was terrified about what was going to happen right above her.

Stiles stood on the other side of the door, rocking back and forth on his feet, trying to not fidget as much. As soon as the door opened he had stopped all movement. "Hey."

"Hi." Travis looked at him weirdly. "Can I help you with something?"

"Umm, yeah. Have you heard from Cassidy, we're trying to get a hold of her and no one can?"

Travis shook his head, his arms crossed. "Nope, sorry. Not since the party a few nights ago."

"Right." Stiles nodded his head, trying to think of where else he could check, when something in the background caught his eye. "Isn't that her bag on the chair?"

Travis turned around to look at it but his face didn't change. "Yeah, she left it in my car. I need to give it back to her."

"And she hasn't been here?" He questioned again, not believing anything he was saying.

"No. Look if that's it, it's after midnight so…" Travis trailed off.

"Right, look if you hear from her-" Stiles was cut off by Travis shutting the door in his face. He quickly pulled his phone out and started walking back towards his Jeep, dialing Scott's number. To Stiles dismay it went straight to voicemail. "Scott, it's Travis. She's at Travis'." He hung up and went to call his dad when he heard the click of the gun behind him. He turned to see Travis standing a foot behind him with the gun poised at him.

"Put the phone down, Stiles." Travis shook his head like he was disappointed.

"You are going to shoot me? You going to kill me?"

"If I have to."

"Where's Cassidy?" Stiles really wasn't scared of this kid with a gun. He had been held hostage by much worse.

"Give me your phone? Maybe you'll get an answer." Travis held his other hand out.

Stiles hesitantly handed it over to him. He was willing to do anything he needed to make sure Cassidy was safe.

"Inside." Travis pointed the gun for him to go. The boy did as he was told. He was pushed by the gun in his back until he was met with a door in his face at the middle of the house. Travis opened the door and pushed again for him to move forward down the steps.

The second Stiles eyes landed on Cassidy he was ready to run over to her. "Cas." He fell to his knees in front of her noticing her skin bleeding. "What the fuck did you do to her?" Stiles yelled looking back at Travis.

He didn't get an answer, just a punch in the mouth sending him flying to the ground where he kneeled.

"Travis!" Cassidy yelled.

"You shut up!" He pointed at Cassidy. "And you take a seat." Travis set the other chair in front of her again.

Stiles shook it off and went back to kneeling in front of her. "I'm going to get you out." He spit some blood to the ground before looking back at her.

"Just do what he says, Stiles." She stared at the boy; pleading. "Please. I don't want you hurt."

"He already hurt you." His hands lightly pushing her hair back behind her ears.

"You better do what she says, Stiles. I have no problem putting another tear through her skin if you don't." Travis stood behind him with duct tape in his hands.

"Please." Cassidy cried.

Stiles sighed heavily, but did as she said. He plopped down in the chair and Travis immediately grabbed his wrists and tapped them to the back of the chair even with Stiles fighting him.

"It's disgusting how much you two will do for the other."

"So what is this? Your torture chamber?" Stiles pulled but couldn't move his hands. "Manipulate girls until you get them down here to hurt them?"

Travis ignored him and grabbed other supplies. "Why don't you two catch up? I'm sure it won't be much longer now." He smiled and headed back up the stairs.

"What does that mean?" Stiles questioned her. Cassidy sighed and started to explain.

Isaac entered Cassidy's room cautiously. He hadn't been in there since the day he told her he was moving. It looked different. There were pictures missing from her walls and it just felt altered. He walked over to see that one thing that was the same was the overflowing CDs and books on her desk. The sweater that hung on the back on her chair took him by surprise. It was his that he had accidentally left at Scott's.

Stiles' words floated through his brain. Had she really cried that much after he left? Every time they talked she seemed fine. How did he miss that? Not just that, how did he miss her slowly down spiraling? He couldn't stop the tears this time. He was angry at himself for leaving her. What if they didn't find her? What if she was bleeding to death? He pushed the chair over in anger.

Lydia entered the room then, watching his outburst. "Isaac, it's okay." Her voice tried to stay calm.

"It's not, Lydia. None of this is okay." He slid down the wall. He would rarely cry in front of anyone, but this was different. "When did she get this bad?"

"I don't know." Lydia kneeled down in front of him, starting to cry herself. "She told us she hated herself."

"No?" Isaac tried to deny her but she shook her head yes.

"I think this is bigger than a breakup or her just going through a rough time."

The two just sat there for a while. After Allison, they were hoping they wouldn't be back in this position again.

"She used to be really quiet to people." Isaac spoke up first, his head in his hands. "Back when we were in middle school. It was just the two of us for so long. She refused to ever open up about things except to me and now…now I feel like I don't even know her anymore."

"I don't think she knows who she is either." Lydia closed her eyes tight and tried to suck back the tears. "I should have called you sooner."

"No, I should have been here." He shook his head. "If I never got the bite none of this would have ever happened."

"Isaac you can't think like that."

"I know…just sometimes I think it would be so much easier."

The red head bit her lip; words were just flowing too easily between them. "I won't let you lose her like we lost Allison."

Isaac looked up at her surprised, but understood. "Same to you."

Lydia took a deep breath and glanced over to see what she could do to help. A bright orange bottle lying under the bed caught her attention.

"Lydia?" Isaac watched as her face started changed.

She ignored him and crawled over to the bottle. She carefully picked it up and dropped it again when she heard Cassidy crying in her head.

"Lydia, what did you hear?" Isaac kneeled next to her.

"Cassidy." She said suspiciously.

"Can you tell where she is?"

Lydia picked the bottle back up and opened it. She took a deep breath and slowly poured the pills into her hand. As each pill fell on her skin she heard her crying, Travis, and chains being pulled. She closed her eyes tight trying to put everything together.

"Travis." She whispered.

"Who?" Isaac was confused having never heard that name before.

"It's Travis." Scott called out behind them. The two spun around to see him and Liam in the doorway. "Travis has her."

The four ran out of the room; explaining that they had a lead to Teresa and Carl before jumping in Lydia's car. Thankfully Liam knew for the most part where Travis lived.

"Can someone explain to me who Travis is?" Isaac asked from the passenger seat, looking behind at Scott and Liam in the backseat.

"He's this guy she met a few months ago." Lydia explained." She met him at a party."

"She started hanging out with him a lot." Liam picked at the seat, feeling on edge to just get there. "They would go to parties together. He went to Devenford with me. He's a bad guy."

Isaac stared at Scott. "And you let her hang out with him?" He knew the way Scott always tried to protect everyone so it surprised him.

"Trust me; we fought about it…a lot." Scott answered but was using his senses to see if he could hear her. "Look, Stiles hasn't been answering his phone since, so I think something serious is happening."

"Yeah, it's going to be serious." Isaac glared out of the front window. "Because I'm gonna kill this kid."

"How do you feel?" Stiles asked the girl across from him. He was hesitant to ask the question to her because that's what usually started all of their fights in the first place.

Cassidy explained to him all of what had happen with Travis' brother and how he wants revenge. They had been quiet for a few minutes. Stiles stared at her while she was just trying to stay conscious. The blood had soaked into her shirt but the cuts had stopped bleeding for the moment, only starting up again when she moved quickly. His own lip was busted, but that was the least of his concern.

"I feel exhausted and that I'm going to bleed to death from a sociopath in a shitty basement." Her voice was soft but the pain still shooting through her.

"Well you're not. Okay, tell me about something?" He tried to think of a way to keep her awake, but she kept her head down. "Cassidy, look at me." She raised her head slowly and cringed when she moved her abdomen. "Tell me what you did in France."

"Um..." She closed her eyes to focus and looked into his eyes. "We saw different monuments and…and went to museums."

"Did you see the Eiffel Tower?" It was a dumb question but it kept her talking.

"Yeah, it's really not all it's cracked up to be." She smiled lazily.

Stiles laughed at her; she was never the one to like ordinary. "Did you see Notre Dame?" He watched her eyes sparkle at the mention of it.

"It was beautiful. It was everything I wanted it to be. I never wanted to leave."

"What else did you do?"

Her eyes were getting sluggish as she talked. "My-my mom had a fashion show that I got to walk in."

"Cas, that's awesome!"

She nodded and her head fell back down. She was so upset with herself that she wasn't stronger than this.

"Cassidy, come on. You got to stay awake." Stiles was getting nervous every time her head fell. He kept trying to pull at the tape on his wrist, hopefully that it would start budging. "Come on, pretty girl. You have to keep looking at me. I need to see those blue eyes."

Cassidy felt tears building up in her eyes at the nickname. She didn't realize how much she missed him saying it or just hearing him talk to her in general. "I'm sorry for everything." She timidly raised her head back to him. "I'm sorry for pushing you away and for hurting you."

"Cas-"

"If I didn't, none of this would have happen." She sniffed. "And I'm really sorry about that phone call."

"You really don't have to be sorry about the phone call." He sighed. He always hated watching her cry. He wanted to so desperately to just hold her. "I shouldn't have pushed you. I should have stayed that night."

The two knew they could have kept on apologizing, each trying to take the blame. "We are a goddamn mess."

"I always told you I hated perfection." Brown and blue didn't leave each other. "This is the worse time to say this and it's so fucking cliché, everything you hate." She chuckled lightly at his words. "But, I need you to know if something does happen...I love you...and I never stopped." His eyes looked at her as if she was an angel even with her bleeding and her eyes red from crying.

"But Malia-"

"There is no me and Malia. There should have never been; but I fucked up and that's my responsibility to take." He smiled sadly at her. "And I know that there is a billion other things we need to work out when we get out of here, but I…I just really needed you to know that. Okay?"

She smiled at him despite the tears that were falling down her cheeks and nodded. "Okay."

"How fucking precious."

The two looked over to see Travis sitting at the top of the steps. They didn't know how long he had been sitting there listening to their conversation. He stood up from his spot and casually walked down the steps.

"I'm so upset, Cassidy. I thought you and I would turn out so well together." He stood behind her, laying his hands on her shoulders.

"You should have thought about that before you cut me open." She winced at the pressure he was putting on her body.

"Still with the smart mouth." He grabbed her chin from behind and leaned down. "Such a pretty little mouth. Don't you think, Stiles?"

"Let her go." He was pulling hard against the tape.

Travis smiled and kissed her hard on the mouth, Cassidy whining in protest as he did. "Not even just that mouth. But her body. I don't know how you ever let her go." He pushed her hair away from her neck. "That tight little body that held on so tight to me as I pounded into her."

"Stop." Stiles teeth were gritted hard at his words.

Travis pulled out the knife again and held the blade to her neck. She cringed at the cold metal. "I'm gonna kill her in front of you and then I'm going to kill you in front of Scott." Cassidy had stopped breathing at this point, eyes closed tight.

A loud growl erupted through the room. The three turned to see Scott completely transformed with Liam and Isaac standing behind him.

"Perfect time." Travis smiled and pulled the knife away from Cassidy's throat and hurled it at Scott. Scott caught it easily in front of him while Travis pulled his gun out. He was too late though. Isaac had made his way over so quickly Travis didn't have time to aim the gun before Isaac had his hand around the boy's throat. Isaac pinned him against the wall, his teeth snarling at the boy and rammed his hand against the wall so he would drop the gun. "You going to kill me?"

The werewolf just pushed him harder into the wall, Travis' head smacking off of the concrete. "There won't be a damn person who's upset about it."

Scott made quick work of getting Stiles hands unwrapped while Liam took his spot in front of Cassidy. "Oh Jesus, Cas." Liam whispered, looking at the wounds on her body. He ripped the chains off her feet easily but he was scared to touch her wrists. "Scott, she's really hurt." The beta called out.

At those words Isaac was seeing red. He hadn't seen the state she was in yet, all too busy wanting to hurt the guy that held her captive.

"If you kill me, you're just proving to her everything I said about werewolves." Travis somehow got out with how tight Isaac was holding his throat. "She'll look at you differently."

Scott and Liam tried to figure out a way to unclasp the braces on her wrists without hurting her worse, while Stiles was looking around the table full of guns and knives for a key. He quickly found one at the bottom of the bag. Liam grabbed the key and quickly undid the chains. Cassidy however couldn't stop crying no matter how hard she tried.

"We got her Isaac, let him go." Scott called out to him.

He ignored the alpha and had started breathing heavier and heavier. Not seeing Travis as a person but as a thing that needed to be destroyed.

"Isaac!" Cassidy's voice rang out high.

The second he heard her everything began to calm down. The voice of his anchor calling out to him, pulling him back down. He held his fist tightly and punched Travis across the face hard, knocking him out and probably breaking his nose. He let go of the boy's throat and let him drop to the ground. He had calmed back down enough that his eyes turned back to his normal blue and his teeth where gone. Isaac ran over to her pushing the other boys aside so he could squat in front of her.

"You're here." Cassidy cried happily at seeing her best friend.

He looked at her wrists to her side, making him sick to his stomach. "I'm here. I'm right here." He wanted to hug her so badly but he knew it would hurt her worse. "We need to get her to the hospital." He looked at the other boys.

"You and Lydia take her." Scott nodded. "We'll stay here for when the Sheriff comes."

Isaac stood up and, as careful as he could, lifted her up into his arms. She cried out as her stomach was squeezed together. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Isaac apologized profusely at hurting her more. She tried her best to just let her body rest in the boy's arms but she was still in so much pain.

Lydia had been waiting outside, calling the Sheriff to tell him where he needed to go. It was too nerve wracking to just be out there at 3 AM with not having a clue what was going on inside. She pushed herself off of her car she had been leaning on the second the sight of Isaac was in her vision.

"Is she okay?" Lydia almost started crying all over again at the sight of Cassidy in his arms.

"Yeah, we just need to get her to the hospital." Isaac walked carefully down the sidewalk and over to the car.

Lydia opened the backseat door and ran around to the other side so she could help him carefully lay her down. Isaac ran to Lydia's side when she was in so he could sit underneath Cassidy to hold her in his arms again. Lydia quickly got in the driver's seat and started driving away.

"Are the other's okay?" Lydia asked, trying not to break every traffic violation on the way there.

"Yeah, they've got Travis handled." Isaac said but his focus was solely on Cassidy. She had her eyes closed but she was breathing which was a good thing.

"Lyd?" Cassidy said softly, hoping the girl up front heard her.

"Yeah, Cassi?"

"I'm sorry."

Lydia gave a watered laughed. "I love you, you pain in the ass."

Cassidy winced as they rolled over a bigger bump. Isaac grabbed a hold of her hand and started to take the pain away. "Isaac. Stop."

"Like hell." He smiled down at her. She looked up at him with adoration and love. He gently leaned down and rested a soft kiss on her forehead. "You got to stop giving me heart attacks, Snyder."

"Not a chance." She closed her eyes again. The difference between this time and last time she was injured, she knew she was safe and she was going to make it. Because of her friends.

Well...1 left to go. How the hell after all this drama is this story going to end?

I can tell you it's NOT a cliffhanger.

BTW: the most votes I got for ship name was Styder. Any other thoughts?
