I do not own I am back

"Everyone gather around." The principle said into the microphone on stage,

Lightning shot down around them, and two people had descended. "Yes please, I would so hate for you all to miss this." Nerissa young again said flying down.

The principal and others who were ready to talk, moved off stage, scared.

"I want you all to witness this." She moved aside

The harem appeared out of no where though they were different, they were powered up an air of magic surrounded them. Though this magic felt different, they wore masks to hide their faces, they were intricately drawn and painted on. The person that stood out the most was Sydney, she had no power and was in chains. She looked like she was put through hell, as she struggled against two imposing men.

"This once promising young lady had done something bad." She looked to them "Trying to stop us, lying to me. You may recognize her." She put her fingers in her hair forcing her to look up.

"That's Sydney!" Their were shouts from the crowd along with questions. "Where are the other girls?" "Did you hurt them?"

Irma huffed at hearing that, like the harem could get hurt. She did wonder what little show they were about to put on. Will looked to her mother, who couldn't read any other message besides it was going to go bad.

"You people are lucky, your witnesses to the start of our new era." She reached into Sydney's chest, everyone in the crowd wincing at her scream of pain. They watched as a thumping object that had a shine of dark purple was in her hand. Dripping with blood both of Sydney's hearts had been forcefully taken from her. The organ that was glowing an entrancing purple light, still pumping out blood. Those on the stage moved away from its spurts of blood in horror and disgust.

Nerissa used both hands to forcefully separate them, as she fought Sydney was thrashing on the floor in pain. As she struggled to hold in her screams she switched from biting her lips to her tongue. She would not let them hear her screams, she knew she would have no control of her begging.

As Nerissa fought with the hearts the purple light grew in protest at the separation. Using her own magic to pull them apart those near her groaned at having blood smeared on them.

. "Out with an old treacherous queen and in with a new loyal one." Nerissa put the heart into Onyx's chest.

The harem all for Sydney rose up, being engulfed in a dark red light. Their clothes had been ripped from their bodies, as the people below saw strips of cloth. Parents shielded their children's eyes, though they too had to turn from the dark red light.

When they could look again, Onyx's hair had grown back and longer with purple and red stripes in it. She no longer had wings, she floated down on her own free will. Her chest was wrapped in strips that looked like rags. Shaped in a V shape way, and she wore tight black jeans that showed her legs well. She wore no shoes, to feel connected to the earth.

Onyx bowed one last time to her leader and turned to the crowd "Meet my army." She let a wave of power go off. Those who could see the wave watched it, and shook with fear as they felt it go through them. They soon started to hear moans from all around and watched from what was thought to be empty boxes zombies had started to come out.

Captain Murrow, was first to react, he took his gun and pointed it to the harem. "Alright that's enough, tell your friends to take off their masks."

Onyx whistled and out of nowhere a dog had bitten his arm. He screamed and went to fight it off. The people were panicked at this, they were frozen in fear as a zombie crawling with its hands was coming to him.

"Sargent look out!" Irma's father yelled "One is crawling toward you."

The Sargent to busy dealing with the dog, walked right into its path being tripped. It bit into his other arm and that when Irma's father took out his gun. Everyone was screaming petrified, except the guardians they had given a look to one another and left if they could. Obviously the treaty had not done well and they need to regroup.

"Dad shoot it in the head!" Chris yelled behind his mother

He did so and once he saw it was down, went to the others that began feasting on the town. He looked to his wife "Get you and the kids out of here, I still got the radio." He tossed the keys and Irma caught them. She nodded and picked up her son, and grabbed Irma.

Harem

Sydney looked around, ignoring the chaos. She spotted several things she could, using what little magic she had left. She made sure they weren't looking at her, using little hand motion had the water turn into ice. She thrusted her hand and the ice shot at the harem, their barrier working like a charm.

The guards let go of her and took out their weapons, charging to the officer. As they slashed through her with ease, Sydney made her escape. When she could finally rest she placed her hand over her chest. Already missing her beating heart, though she was sure Nerissa could feel her heart beating fast with adrenalin.

She let out a muffled scream as she felt pain in her chest. Her mother was squeezing hard, she had to get somewhere safe and away from Onyx's picture perfect world. She would then rethink her strategy, she had a more than one advantage over the guardians.

Cornelia

Cornelia watched the zombies come out from huts, and school in a herd. She picked up her sister "Follow me!" Her family followed her to the parking lot, though as she ran past the car her father stopped.

"I see our car."

Cornelia kept running, "Cornelia stop." Lillian said

"Cornelia come back!" Her mother yelled, holding her purse tight as some people ran past them.

Cornelia turned back running to him "Dad were not close to the exit, some are already in their cars. We'll be blocked in, it's faster for us to run. We will run through parks, pack food and clothes and go to Angelo's home."

"Young lady." Her mother started

"Mom this is how I lived my life over the summer." She reaffirmed her hold on Lillian and saw more people coming, and saw zombies starting to shuffle out.

"Lil, you'll watch for zombies try not to scream just get my attention. Just don't be loud, we will all be silent." She instructed

The parents followed their daughter, Lillian hugged her sister tighter as they entered the park. It was scary to her, with no moonlight and the wind rustling the trees. There were screams they heard carried by the wind.

They had made it halfway through the park when they all stilled at hearing something. Cornelia gave Lillian to their mother "No matter what be quiet." She felt a small connection to the plant life.

They huddled close together as they walked, as they walked Cornelia would feel movement on the grass. She let vines surround the zombies and hold them tight. She kept doing that as they walked out the park, Cornelia hating how they lived in an urban place. She would need to power up to get the roots underneath the hard concrete. Though she always had the training Caleb had given her.

Their father unlocked the door with shaky hands, they piled in. Cornelia closed the blinds, but not before getting a glance outside. She shivered at what she saw before turning to her family "Mom and dad pack food, Lillian you come with me." She turned off lights "I'll get flashlights, keep them away from the windows."

Lillian and her, collected flashlights for their parents "Do you still have those binoculars from Chris?"

"The cool night vision ones?" Lillian asked

Cornelia nodded and followed her sister to her room, Lillian put them on. She put her sister near the window. "You've got another important job, you are going to tell us whatever you see. People running, the z- icky gross things or whatever." Cornelia wasn't sure what Onyx could create especially with her being keeper of the heart now.

She saw her sister shaking, she hugged her tight and kissed her on the forehead. "Everything will be okay, I'll make sure nothing happens to you." She felt her sister relax a little in her arms.

"What are you going to do, you're not going outside by yourself?" Her mother asked watching her oldest.

"No, I'm going to pack us clothes, so we can go to Angelo's house." She walked to her bedroom closing the door with a shaky hand. She reached into her pocket and took out her phone. Mentally cursing at the battery blinking, she called Will as she connected it to the charger.

"Cornelia, thank god you're safe." Will answered

"You at home packing to?"

"Packing?" Will repeated

"Yeah, you know food, and clothes to bring to Angelo's uncles house. It's well protected and could fit us all comf- well not comfortably but still."

"Shit! I didn't even think about that, just getting away from the zombies."

"It's our best place to regroup, tell our parents and think about Sydney and Onyx. How are we going to keep the town safe, also Meridian.

"I know!" Will yelled frustrated

"Sorry, speaking to fast."

"No, you bring up good points as always look we still have to fly home. Call the other, tell them to pack and be safe. You got a full battery?"

"No, I'm sure my mom's second phone is good, good luck and see you at Angelo's."

Irma

She was dragged by her mother, as she watched her father shoot the zombies. She looked around she didn't just see zombies, but Onyx's classic skeletons. She got in the car being in the back with her brother. She held him tight as her mother, drove through some skeletons. She pushed his face into her chest, so he wouldn't see the carnage. Though she could do nothing about the screams, and the disgusting noises as they drove over zombies.

She awkwardly got her cellphone out and tried to call the others. Though she got nothing, she called Angelo's uncle and got nothing. She tried Taranne but got nothing, she tried Cornelia and she picked up.

"Hey, so we're all going to Angelo's place."

"Yes, but not first, go home and bring clothes and food. With your powers, we won't have any problem keeping them good. Also we need a ride, can you arrange that?"

"Yeah, I'll do that." She hung up "Mom, once we get home we got to get clothes and food and head to Cornelia's they need a car, then Angelo's house."

"What?" She shook her head "No, young lady we are going home, and boarding up the house."

"Mom listen to me, that is the safest place right now. I can only do so much."

"You, what can you do?" Her mother asked, staring at her from the rearview mirror. Though had to maneuver out of the way of a zombie

"I'll show you when I need to. Just park in the garage, get to the house and we pack."

"What about dad, what if he gets bit?" Chris asked looking from his sister to his mom.

"We'll find away to reverse it." Irma said

Their mother drove, turning on the radio "That's right zombies are attacking! " she quickly turned it off. As they made it closer to their home Irma was nervous, some people were running around packing their things onto their cars. The mom parked inside their garage, happy two see the two new cars. Their old clunkers would be loud, and slow making it harder for them to survive.

She turned off car and looked at them "Alright I'm going to go make sure it's safe, count to fifty unless I come back to tell you its fine. If I'm not back then Irma we've been teaching you how to drive. Don't use the police car, use one of ours, go to Angelo's and keep your brother safe.

She unlocked the door and gave her daughter the car keys, she looked around the garage. She found what she was looking for. She put on the belt, put in the extra bullets. She quickly put the gun together, and ammo. She put on a silencer, she turned to her kids nodded to them mouthing "I love you." She went inside the house, she closed the door behind her.

"When did mom get a gun?" Irma asked getting out the car. She looked around for water, they always had some water bottles or the dripping of the roof.

"Irma what do you think will happen to us and dad?" Chris asked scared

She wiped his tear streaked face "When it comes to us, we'll be okay. And dad, well he's strong and tough, smart."

She found the water bottles, she got Chris to go into the car. She unscrewed the cap and formed it into bracelets and anklets along with a necklace. She was armed with something, she walked to the passenger side "How long has it been?"

"37 missippies."

She bit her lip and looked to the closed door "I'm going to check on mom, you are going to help pack food."

He frowned though it was mostly fear "Mom said-"

"Chris," she started going to his level "those things are coming and we have to be brave right now. Not always but at this moment, we still have to get Cornelia and her family."

"Lillian is in trouble." He said he puffed out his chest "Okay."

She checked the living room and kitchen thoroughly before letting Chris in. She gave him her metal bat, and put him in the pantry. She "Try to be as quite as you can, where are your Walkie talkies?" She asked giving him bags

"One is in my bedroom in my dresser near the window, the other is in your bedroom air vent." He said looking to the ground embarrassed

She smiled ruffling his hair "I wouldn't have found it, good hiding spot." She left closing the door and freezing the nails. "I'll get you a walkie talkie, just stay quite if someone enters."

She walked away and triple checked the downstairs entrances, closing the curtains. Though not before looking at the streets. Their were some fire and people screaming, she was mad at herself internally. She couldn't do much to help, she closed it tight and went to her brother's room. She was surprised to see a zombie dead with a headshot, and as she walked upstairs their were more. She went to her brothers room, she was glad for the lights being on. She stilled at hearing glass breaking. She ran to the noise, it was from her parents room. She opened the door to see her mother fighting a zombie off. The gun nowhere in sight, as she kept eyes on her mother.

She saw her daughter "Irma run, get your brother out of here, I can't hold it off for long." Her mother said

"Close your mouth and eyes." Irma threw water at it, and had it freeze.

Her mother opened her eyes to see the zombie impaled to the wall, an ice dagger in its head. She looked to her daughter "Irma, how did?"

"No time, any more?" She avoided the question

"No, where's your brother?" She asked not seeing him in the hall

"In the kitchen, I'm going to get walkie talkies and give one to him. You pack clothes, for you and Chris." She ran to her bedroom and got the walkie, she then went to Chris's but stopped herself. She face palmed and began packing his clothes, she stuck with long pants and jackets. She checked the battered, though got noes ones just incase. She went to find her mom in her room "Did you pack my cellphone charger?"

"Yep." The two carefully went downstairs, Irma went to Chris "Its me a and mom." She unfroze the nails and he ran to them hugging them both tight.

"It's okay," their mother said rubbing his head and and looking to her daughter. "we're safe." She collected frozen food as her kids packed cars. She heard her daughter starting her new car. She went and got the family photo tossed it in the back and buckled up "You ready?"

"Yep." Irma said

Chris and her were the first car out, she didn't like Chris being in the front seat. Yet who was going to hold the cellphone, stupid cheap phone holder.

"Alright let's go." She said seeing Irma out the garage, she heard screams and more zombies. She started driving "Chris don't look to the side, just the front."

Sydney

She trudged through the park and streets to the Dojo, exhausted using the little magic she had. Not having any armor or weapons having to use what was on hand. She dropped the two bones, rolling her eyes at no glamour. The cars parked close, not even hiding that there are a group of people, and they are here. She ran to the other side, where a shop's windows were broken. She picked up a glass shard, she used all the little magic she had in the glamour spell. She spit the blood out her mouth that was coming up, and wiped the blood coming from her nose. She saw two people staring at her, her true self then the glamor.

She had a tan, was a little taller her hair was no longer long. She felt around it and the glamour worked. You could not feel long hair, her hair was blonde as Cornelia's, her eyes were now green. She looked at her appearance, her chest size she went down a cup and she had a little more fat on her. Sh elooked older, college girl.

She looked around and heard zombies "Perfect." Her voice was a little sweeter, not one of a trained queen. She waited and began to scream for help, while making it look like she had a limp. She counted down and sure enough Taranne's brother opened the door.
