Ok, I guess some explanations are in order... Well, let's make a long story short and just say that even if I'm 18 and an adult in the eyes of the law, as long as I live under my mothers roof I can still be grounded... Yeah... Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter that has been sitting on my account since the 15th of Nov. LOL. Bye!

It was just he was finishing up his OJ that Akihito had a sudden thought. "Hey, where's my cell?" Asami looked up from his paper for a moment before responding.

"It's in the living room along with the rest of your things. It should all be on the table." Akihito nodded and stood to go to the living room while Asami went back to his paper. Just as he had said, everything was on the low coffee table. Checking his phone he wasn't surprised not to see any missed calls from Yamazaki. Finding his number in his contacts, Akihito gave him a call.

The phone rang twice when he answered, "AKIHITO!" Flinching, the blonde held his phone away from his ear. "Geez, boy! I thought you were dead." Regaining his hearing, Akihito held the phone back to his ear.

"Yeah, sorry about that, Yama-san. There were some complications, but I'll have the photos in to you soon."

"Aki, what are you talking about? You already sent them in. Tachi was arrested at dawn this morning. It's been all over the news! Don't you watch TV? I've got your pay at the office, so get your ass down here."

"Wait, did you say that I already sent the pictures?"

"Are you deaf boy? Yes, that's what I said! Anyway, I owe you the pay and lunch at Wally's because these were awesome shots. So, just shoot me a text on my cell when you're heading over and we'll set a time for lunch." There was some indistinct shouting in the background and Akihito could hear Yamazaki answering before coming back to their conversation. "Anyway, I'll see ya later. Bye, kiddo!"

The line dead and Akihito hung up his phone before looking over at Asami who was still silently reading his paper. "You sent in the pictures?" All he got was a distracted hum as the raven haired man turned the page. "Why did you do that?" Asami glanced up from his paper for a moment before folding it and placing it on the table.

"Would it pacify you if I were to say that I did it out of the kindness of my heart?" Akihito scoffed.

"If that were your answer, then I'd call bullshit. There's no way that you would be that considerate." If there was one thing Akihito knew about Asami in the time that he has known him, it was that this man never did anything for others if there wasn't something he would gain.

Asami smirked, "Well done, Akihito. You're learning quickly."

Akihito snorted. "So what did you get by turning in those photos of Tachi?"

Asami stood and walked over to Akihito who was backing away in even pace to Asami's advancements. It wasn't until Akihito had backed up enough to have the back of his knees knock into the coffee table that Asami spoke.

"You may be a kitten, but you are hardly oblivious."

"How nice of you to notice, and I'm not a kitten!" Asami's smirk grew.

"Of course I have. I have also noticed that with your line of work to back you up, you have an idea of what kind of man I am." Akihito swallowed thickly as Asami stood directly in front of him. "Sending in those photos you took was enough to lock up Tachi and with him out of the way, his territory and businesses are ready for the taking." Akihito huffed.

"So what you're saying is that by getting rid of him, you can now steal both his legit and illegal venues. You really are a bastard."

"So you keep saying, but it's not stealing if it's up in the air. Tachi doesn't have a successor other than his right hand, and from what I've heard he's a brainless twit. It won't be long before everything of Tachi's is mine." Akihito had opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by Asami's ringtone. The larger man pulled it out and stepped away to answer. Akihito just huffed again and went back to looking over his things.

As he was looking over his camera for any damage Asami was finishing up his call. "And now the fun begins."

"I never thought I would hear the word 'fun' and shudder." Asami chuckled from over by the window. "So, what, are Tachi's men already in a panic?"

"Like an ant colony without it's queen. I need to head out, so I'll have Suoh give you a life back to your apartment."

"What about my Vespa?"

"I had one of my men already take it back to you apartment last night. The keys should be back in you bag."

"You stole my keys?!"

"I put them back. Now stop hissing and pack up." Akihito sputtered as Asami headed to the bedroom to grab his things and met Akihito at the door. Heading down together Asami's smirk was firmly in place while Akihito was scowling at his own reflection in the lift doors.

In the underground parking garage, Asami headed to the limo waiting for him while Akihito was directed to a, thankfully, BMW. Yes, it was a nice car to be going home in, but at least it wouldn't be as eye catching as a limo. Getting in, Akihito let himself relax and think for awhile.

The last eighteen hours had definitely sucked. First, he makes a rookie mistake by not remembering the shudders, then he nearly get his head bashed in and kidnapped. Finally, he's once again saved by Asami and had to suffer the humiliation of having to be taken care of because he was too much of a dumbass in the first place. Yeah, someone above really had it in for him.

It was then that his phone buzzed in his pocket and he pulled it out only to find it was a text from Kou asking for dating advice… again. Akihito loved Kou, but he really needed to give it a rest already. Like damn, the boy was relentless! Suddenly Akihito remembered his conversation with Yamazaki and looked out the window to see hey hadn't passed the street the station was on. Calling up to Suoh, the destination was changed.

Finally Akihito was home. Suoh had insisted on waiting outside the station for Akihito to return so he could take him home, but Akihito had given him the slip out the back. He had gotten his pay, which Yamazaki doubled because he had gotten such perfect shot and they had a lunch date the day after next. Which was awesome because Akihito could seriously go for a Wally's chocolate shake.

Not having anything else to do Akihito called Takato and Kou so they could spend the day gaming and munching on junk food. It was pure bliss.

If there was one thing that he could admit that he loved, it was when things worked out so well. Tachi was arrested and a certain little blonde was none the wiser as to what was truly going on behind the scenes. It had taken him years to find him, but he had done it. It was almost had to believe that Takaba Akihito, who had been a teen at the time, was the reason that he had lost everything.

Hiding in the shadows was not his style, but it had to be done if he wanted his revenge. The only problem that could stand in the way was a certain yakuza who had taking a liking to Takaba. Not that he could blame Asami, the boy was beautiful in every way. Bubbly personality and bright, hazel eyes that just begged for excitement.

Yes, he would have a joyful time breaking the blonde into a million tiny pieces.
