Tsurishi Arashi I'd like to take the dreams that Stella has and turn them into their own story, but without the nightmare element.
Cracked Pepper I still like the pairing between Stella and Chimera though, so we wrote a one-shot where the relationship is reciprocated called Malattia Amore. :D

Number the Stars
Chapter 11:
It's In the Stars

"Gryffindor it is!" Lily clapped her hands and a smile was on her face as her new friend came and sat down next to her. Stella of course was nervous and she gained a lot of looks from the other girls, who couldn't help but notice that Sirius had eyes on Stella. Lily though eyed Sirius, wondering what the guy would in fact try to do, knowing that he could... a lot of the time.. be a self centered jerk. Letting out a sigh she dove into the food.

She then looked up in time to see Stella pick up one of her cravings and eat it. Despite being pregnant Stella had a grace about her. Lily of course couldn't care one way or another about this as Stella didn't hold her looks against her, or at least so far. Plus, she knew full well that the girl wasn't actually human, so it was expected that she would have an inhuman beauty to her. This said, even she began to pick up the glares of her fellow Gryffindors.

After finishing their meals, both girls headed up the stairs, Stella following behind Lily as she took care of her prefect duties. She then followed the other girl up to their dorm room, where she found that she would be sharing the room with all of the girls in their year for their house. The girl sat down on the edge of the bed. "I don't think they like me."

Lily stopped short. She then looked away. "I sadly have to agree with that assessment. A lot of the girls have a crush on Sirius and since he's taken an interest in you."

"Great... so I'm not only going to have to deal with being pregnant, but also have to deal with the fact I'm going to have a bunch of girls after me because they're jealous of something that doesn't exist. I'm so not wanting to date anyone right now, not after..." Stella closed her eyes, her hand going to her belly. "Is there a bathroom in which I can change?"

"Yes... I'll show you it in a bit."

"Good... I guess I'll... read a book despite the fact I hate studying." Stella began to dig around in her trunk, only to stop short when some of the other girls came into the room. She found herself blinking a couple of times, flinching as soon as one of the girls pulled a wand. She watched as a particular spell knocked Lily unconscious. "Hey!"

"Don't worry. She'll wake up. We can't have her ruining our fun hazing you."

Stella found herself backing away, only to find a few spells thrown her way, making it so that she couldn't scream for help or get away. She of course couldn't use her fairy powers as she was pregnant. She watched as one girl picked up a pair of scissors and began to move the handles so that the metal ended up making a slicing sound. "Let's start with the hair. Oh... what is that look of horror on your face. Hair grows back... and it isn't as if we're going to cut it that short. Or perhaps we should."

She watched as another girl positioned herself over her with hands on either side before reaching out to grab the scissor and lowered it so it was at Stella's jawline. Stella heard the snip and the sound of hair being cut and then felt the girl move to the other side before taking the scissors under Stella's neck. She then handed the scissors back to the other girl who spoke up again. "I think we should draw on her with marker."

Stella watched as the girl who was above her reached down and began to unbutton her blouse, only to stop short upon seeing the top part of the bulge indicating her pregnancy. "Oh... this is good!"

The other girl crept closer and watched as the other finished unbuttoning. "Oh... she's pregnant. No way Sirius would actually want her knowing that she has been used. I wonder if the teachers know."

"It's not as if they expel girls for getting pregnant. That one girl had her baby in the infirmary at the beginning of the year and everyone knew about that during the winter quarter that she was pregnant. The only reason she dropped out was because she had to be a full time mother."

"Yeah... but we can't do as much because she's pregnant. It's not as if Sirius will want to have anything to do with her once the entire school finds out she is pregnant."

One of the girls held a wand to Stella's head and said the word Obliviate, and the memories of said event fled Stella's mind.

"What happened to your hair?" Lily's voice woke Stella up.

The fairy found herself sitting up straight as her hands reached up to grab her long hairs. A moan of dismay ended up escaping her lips. "I don't know. Having short hair is so childish."

"I don't know. I think it depends on the person. I'd say you look cute with your hair cut that short if it weren't for the fact I think someone cut your hair the night before, but I honestly can't wrap my head around who would do that. Did you leave at all?"

"No. Well... there is a chance I left."

"We could ask around."

The two got up and they headed down the stairs while Stella found her throat tightening. A hand reached down to touch her belly. The two girls headed down the stairs, and saw a group of kids standing around the announcement board. Lily and Stella pushed their selves through while the other kids giggled at them. Stella looked on in horror as she saw a hastily scrawled picture of her with a baby bump.

Lily turned on everyone else. "Who did this? It's the same person who cut Stella's hair last night wasn't it?"

"I don't know what you're talking about Lily," one of the girls from their dorm room said as she slipped out of the room.

Sirius grabbed her arm. "I think it was you though. What is wrong with you guys?"

"Why would you be interested in her? She's pregnant. That means she's a whore."

Sirius turned his head to look at Stella, and a frown spread across his face as he saw the look of panic on her face. He turned back to look at the girl. "If I recollect carefully one of the tactics you used to try and get with me was telling me you had experience with a ton of guys. If I want to be with her it is my choice, and I'd much rather be with a girl whose been with only one person over a girl whose really been with many."

Stella blinked a couple of times as Sirius left the room. She took a deep breath and waited for everyone to stop staring so she could also leave. She found herself eating a meal, but struggling to keep it down. She wasn't sure if it was the pregnancy, or the fact her life simply was getting worse.

She headed to class afterwords and Lily tried cheering her up. Eventually classes ended and she went and found a place which was quiet. For some reason she didn't seem bothered by Chimera's actions, or Brandon dumping her. For some reason she felt Sirius had ended up changing those things.

And yet strangely she swore she would never end up with a bad guy like Musa ended up with Riven. She thought she would be with a guy like Brandon who was absolutely perfect, but now she realized Brandon wasn't perfect to have dumped her like that after Chimera tried making her hers. She still didn't think she would end up with a person like Brandon.

Her feet also hurt. She swore that her feet were abnormally swollen, and she found herself wishing there was something she could do to relieve the pain. She simply found a nice cool corridor and sat there hoping none of the other students would notice her. A good deal of people were gossiping about her pregnancy, and wondering what the story was.

Most of the students preferred the story the girl who cut her hair spread, that Stella was some kind of whore. She found herself receiving quite a few looks from guys who looked her up and down, and for once she suddenly felt looking pretty wasn't a good thing. A guy suddenly came up, almost as if he were looking for her. "Hey... I was wondering..."

"If it's about having sex with you the answer is no."

"Yeah... but you did it with many guys, and as you're pregnant it means you're not at risk at getting pregnant. Plus... I heard a rumor from some of the guys. They had sex with the girl who dropped out because she became a mother, and they found the sex with her pregnant was much more amazing then without. They also said girls want it even more when they're pregnant."

Stella swallowed. "Want it?"

"Yeah. You like sex, and are even addicted to it. That's why you ended up pregnant." The guy grabbed her wrists and moved closer, forcing her underneath him. She tried pulling away her hand, but found the other guy to be stronger. He moved in to kiss her on the lips and she cringed and closed her eyes.

And then the tight hold on her wrist left and a loud thump was heard. "Are you all right?"

Stella opened up her eyes to see Sirius standing there with Remus. "Thanks to you I am."

"Seriously... those rumors are nasty." Sirius rubbed the back of his head.

"You do know if you don't stay away you'll be caught up in this mess."

"We don't care." Remus piped up. "Well, James might care and Peter, but none of this is true right?"

"That..." Stella looked away. "I'm not exactly wanting to talk about what happened. In some ways it's worse then the rumors going around. I mean... I really don't want people to know."

"You've got to say something. Not saying something seems to be making it so the rumors keep going around." Remus began to tug the guy away.

"Just tell them the rumors aren't true and the real story is none of their business. It's like the rumors in regards to my family."

"Are some of those rumors true?"

"In those cases I don't deny them, but say they have nothing to do with me."

"There is something you guys aren't telling me."

"Yes. Well, there is the fact there is a war going on." Snape glanced away.

"In other words this world is likely more messed up then my own."

"I don't know. The father of your baby is female from the world you come from. That's rather messed up."

"I already know that." Stella watched as the two guys dump the young man to the side.

Sirius then touched her shoulder. "How about I take you back to the dorms? If you go up to your room you'll find no guy will be able to find you?"

"I don't want to be hiding though. I shouldn't be hiding. The fact I'm pregnant isn't my fault, and yet I'm already being blamed for something she did. I hope I never see her again, because at this rate I won't be able to attend school without people heckling me."

"From what I hear Lily's already tackling that. Despite the fact she's not prone to gossiping she's actually really good at controling it among the girls when need be."

Remus raised an eyebrow at Sirius. "Not my fault she's had to cover for us in the past.
