I'm so in the mood to write. Because it's Christmas! So I was stuck at home today and I went to watch Cartoon Network (and the last time I did that was like 100000 years ago). Winx Club was on and I suddenly thought of my childhood. Apparently, science destroyed my life. And my childhood fantasies inspired me to write this. The second half of the story was half-inspired by Fable EmaniaHilel (go check it out, it's great!). I was thinking about how to wrap up the story, and I suddenly thought of that fanfic. Try listening to The Wish I Wish Tonight from Barbie: A Prefect Christmas if you're the type to listen to music while reading. I got that song on replay while I wrote this.

Santa

"Beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful."

"I saw Mommy kissing Santa last night," Nathaniel Grayson broke the silence as the family enjoyed their quiet Christmas breakfast.

Raven Grayson choked on her tea.

"Oh really?" Richard Grayson's lips curved up in amusement.

"Yea, Mommy's been a naughty girl this year," Nathaniel's twin sister, Hayden Grayson, chimed in.

Nathaniel pointed at the blue furry Christmas stocking hung on the fireplace accusingly, "That's why Mommy's stocking is empty."

The two little children had just finished opening their gifts and were so excited to receive all those presents from their parents and relatives. Moreover, they were told that their Uncle Victor (also their godfather) would be bringing them to Disneyland that day. The kids were now eating breakfast with their parents. Nathaniel was as responsible as his parents. He felt that what he caught the night before must be brought up to discussion, so he did. After all, his sister was there too before the both of them scurried back to their room (because they thought Santa saw them).

Richard shook his head, chuckling. Raven glared at him and hit his leg with hers under the table. He told the two naïve children with feigned innocence, "Oh Mommy wasn't naughty! Santa casted a spell on Mommy and made Mommy kiss him."

Raven rolled her eyes and arched her delicate brow. "Is that only what you got?" was what that look meant.

"You mean…" six-year-old Nathaniel let that information sink in. "You mean Mommy was possessed?"

Hayden frowned, "Oh no!"

Richard's face lit up, "But Daddy came in and saved the day!"

Raven smiled at her husband.

Richard continued, "I broke the spell and saved Mommy from Santa!"

"Yay!" Hayden clapped cheerfully.

Raven droned, playing along, "Yes." She spread her arms in feigned delight, "Richie, you're my hero!"

"Anything for my lady," Richard winked. He brought her left hand to him and kissed the back of her palm.

Hayden giggled and Nathaniel scrunched his nose and shook his head.

Loud honks came from outside the door. "Oh! That must be Uncle Victor!" Nathaniel squealed in delight.

The two excited child looked at their mother, waiting for her approval to join Uncle Victor for the day.

"All right, you may go. Tell Uncle Victor Daddy and I will be joining you all at dinner," Raven smiled warmly.

Hayden and Nathaniel grabbed their backpacks and ran to the door.

"Love you!" the kids beamed before they ran out and climbed into Victor's car.

Richard and Raven paced to the door, "Love you too!"

A moment later, Victor hollered, "See you guys tonight! Don't be late!"

He settled into the driver's seat, "Ready kids?"

Raven walked back into the dining room as Richard closed the door. He joined her as she cleaned up the table.

"Merry Christmas, honey," he hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek.

Raven spun around and crossed her arms, "Care to explain why my stocking is empty, Santa?"

Richard smirked, "Well, you've been a very, very naughty girl, Raven."

He pulled her close and gazed into her beautiful amethyst orbs. "Then what do you suggest the punishment to be, Mr. Grayson?"

"I just have the perfect punishment in mind, Mrs. Grayson," he pulled his beloved wife into a deep kiss.

I rewatched Barbie: A Perfect Christmas before I wrote this because it's my own tradition to watch a Christmas movie on Christmas. And I can't believe it. Barbie got me believing in all those childhood fantasies again. You know, like wishes do come true when you wish upon a star, and magic exists. My nostalgic self is kicking in again.

The sad thing is, I realized that TT RxR fanfics are dying down. There aren't a lot of stories being published or updated now. Last time, when festivals are nearing, especially major ones like Christmas and New Year, there would always be several oneshots being published... My nostalgic self is leaving me now.

Okay! Enough said. Good night and merry Christmas.
