"Knock, knock! Is someone there?" cheerful voice resounded at the Secretary's Room like a crystal bell and petite, ginger-haired woman entered the room.

"Oh, hi Petra! How have you been? I haven't seen you from ages!" Hanji exclaimed merrily and raised up to hug the woman.

"Yeah, I know, sorry. I was busy with delegation and another one is coming again, so I wanted to complete some errands before I go." smiled adorably, and the room filled up with more of sunshine. Cold, pre-spring air made her cheeks cover with cute, pink shade what gave her just more adorable look. Her shiny, amber eyes went to Levi's door. "Is Levi in? Actually I came because I have something for him." she took out a package wrapped in colorful paper. "I can't forgive myself I missed his birthday and sent him whishes two days overdid." smiled sheepishly with embarrassment. Armin felt as something inside of him is melting at her cuteness.

"Well, he's in but probably he's busy." Hanji gestured at Armin. "This is his new secretary, he knows."

"Oh, I'm sorry!" the petite woman approached to Armin's desk and reached her hand with grace. "I should do it at the beginning. Petra Ral, commercial agent of Sina's Beauty Cosmetics." said professionally but sweetly.

Armin was staring at her bright, warm eyes, "Armin Arlert, Mr. Ackerman's assistant." He looked aside, afraid that his gawking starts to be very rude. This woman was a dreamlike. Probably she's THE woman with THE style, thought and quivered internally when through his mind dashed, What has she in common with Levi?! But he shook this thought away as he turned toward Levi's door. "Responding to your question, Le– Mr. Ackerman is during conference call now, but I may check if it takes him long or if he can take a break."

"No." the ginger-haired woman stopped Armin with a gesture. "I don't want to disturb him. I just ask you for handing him this behalf of Petra, and we're done." she put the gift on Armin's desk.

"There's no problem." he smiled back.

"Thank you. So then, I'm going to go. We'll catch on Face, Hanji! I was about writing to you anyway." she walked to entrance and turned back. "It was pleasure to meet you, Armin. Bye bye~!" she waved and closed the door. Armin felt as if a fairy had dropped in for a minute and left some magical aura.

"How nice…" Armin said and smile unwittingly blossomed on his face, as he lead the petite woman with his sight behind the glassed door. "Is she also Levi's friend? I've never heard him talking about her."

"Oh, actually Petra…" Hanji hushed and looked down, thinking about something hardly. She bit her lower lip, staying silent. Then she raised her head and said, observing Armin furtively, "She was Levi's fiancé."

The little one's mouth fell apart. He could swear he heard the clang of the shovel which whacked him in his head. Everything around him started swirling around. The blond looked at the colorful pack which Petra left for Levi, and his chest clenched painfully without a clear reason. He felt as if his heart stopped.

"Armin," the boy looked at the glassed woman, who was staring at him with awe in her eyes, "breathe! Goddammit, breathe!"

Oh, yeah. Due to this shock he had completely forgotten about it. Maybe the pain in his chest was caused with lack of air in his lungs? All in all he was in apnea about whole minute…

As Armin realized that, air with grand swish was taken to his lungs. In a moment he felt way better (at least physically) and blood in his veins got back to the natural flow.

"Sorry!" he giggled nervously and rubbed his nape. "I just… um…" Am I wrong or… is she in a way similar to me? Is it that why has Levi become fond to me? This could mean that he still…

"Arlert," intercom squawked with Levi's voice, letting him know that he was done. "tea please."

Armin obeyed. He brewed perfect tea, but while entering Levi's office he felt that meeting Petra gave him strong insecurity, and broke inside. This man, whom was calling with 'boyfriend', knew about him probably everything, while he himself had a past about which Armin knew nothing. As he served Levi's tea with conventional amiability, the young man furrowed his eyebrows and went out without a word to come back in a moment with the package.

"A consignment for you, sir." The blond put the colorful box in front of sitting Levi and hid his arms behind his back. The short man raised his eyebrows, staring at the package with confusion ver. 'WTF?'. He didn't managed to open his mouth as Armin said with professionally emotionless tone, studying attentively Ackerman's face. "With best regards from Ms. Petra Ral." Levi's pupils narrowed for a microsecond and Armin could swear he saw his inner flinch. The ocean-blue eyes darkened.

The raven-haired looked up and met Armin's distanced sight – the sight he had never seen before in his eyes.

The blond stayed silent, hollowing his superior with dimmed eyes. The short man released a quiet sigh, looking at the box. "Doing such unnecessary things…"

"I'll leave you for now, sir. You need to assign some researches until 3 p.m. – in other way they cannot be issued." The young secretary stated coldly and rushed toward exit.

"Armin." the blond assistant halted at the door. Levi seemed to be constrained. "You want us to go somewhere after work and talk a bit?"

The boy's lips turned in thin line. He sent Levi glare before he spoke. "I think I do."

Smooth piano music in restaurant let Armin relax. However he didn't like that situation looking like one of their dates, when steaks and dry wine were placed on the table he felt enough convenient to look at his partner. Levi believed that after dinner Armin's bad mood get softened. He knew there's no point to talk with him with empty stomach as Armin was successively turning down all of his attempts to chat up while the drive. Hungry man = angry man.

When the plates had been taken away and on the table remained only a half-full bottle of wine, Levi decided to start. "Yeah, I was engaged and I had a fiancé. I had. But no longer I have. It's a very old story and I've closed this part of my life – it's only past right now. So what is it? Why did you freak out about it?"

Armin shrugged. "I just… don't know. She looks so perfect and when I heard that you two were very close to each other I think I felt jealous and… as if I were on dubious position. I didn't suspect that you have had a fiancé. I barely know anything about you. And nothing about your past." said with reproach.

"Does it disturb you? I believed that talking with your partner about your exes is a grand faux-pas. Besides, me and Petra is over once and forever, so why should I mention it?" Levi sipped some wine. "You really wanna listen about all love stories of mine?"

The blond looked aside. "I'm not sure if I were comfortable listening to this. And how many love stories you had?"

"Okay," the man rolled his eyes, grunting quietly, "listen carefully cause I won't repeat it and won't dig out this shitty topic ever again." Levi shifted on his chair and laced his fingers in front of his face, slowly collecting his thoughts. "I don't only look like a badass, I am the one. Or I should say that I was the one. I have some dark chapters in my life, Erwin knows about it, and Hanji can babble some shit pieces, but don't pay attention to this. Because…" the brunet glanced around and reached for a paper napkin, dabbing secretly Armin's hand with his fingertips, "it's a faraway past since I met you." Cerulean pupils met caring, coal sight. Levi kept going, giving his voice a shade of unclear emotion. "I don't wanna care about my past, and please do that same. Things the most important for me are happening right now."

Armin's eyes watered and light smile warmed his face. "Levi…" whispered with voice drowning in emotion.

Levi warmed a glass of wine with his hand lidding his eyes took a sip with light curve in corner of his mouth. "Shh, it's okay, baby. You don't need to say anything."

The blond one leaned forward and said with lowered voice, "Can I stay tonight at your place? I'll call to my flatmate." Ackerman's eyes snapped open. "I want you to make me feel only yours." mewled with sparkling eyes. Levi looked at the blond slightly startled. In the last moment he held back Cheshire Cat's grin.

"… yup, it's fine. Um, I'll make shopping on my way tomorrow. Eren, I… Ah–!" Armin felt shiver of pleasure running down his spine as white teeth nibbled his ear. "Eren, I need to go. Uhm, see you tomorrow, bye." The boy threw his phone on the nightstand and arched his corpus releasing a moan. Straddling Levi's lap with his back to him, Armin enjoyed with kisses on his neck and ears, and caressing touch of Levi's cold hands on his hips and stomach was driving him crazy. He pressed his butt to Levi's hardened member, teasing him more.

"Maybe I should make you feel insecure more often…?" whispered to the blonde's ear.

"That would just show how nasty you are." replied between gasps.

"It's your fault. You should be more effusive..." said teasingly and pulled down some of the petite one's undergarment.

"Effusive?" Armin snorted, "Who's talking!"

"I am effusive, and I prove it to you now." Levi dipped his hand into Armin's underwear uncovering his erected member and got to jerking him off. Armin gasped in pleasure throwing his arms backward and digging his nails to his lover's loins. He felt as Ackerman's shaft is getting harder and harder.

As Levi felt that the blond one's member wet he pushed him aside dropping on bed and removed their pants. Cerulean eyes sparkled as glass when the boy looked up at Levi's face leaning over him. The young one stiffened for a microsecond, but feeling hot wave pulsating from his abdomen he slowly spread his legs.

Armin closed his eyes as he saw that his lover reached for lube. His hands grasped sheets and teeth gritted in anticipation. Then he heard over his head Armin and shut his eyes open. His eyes met tender sight of Levi's. The blond heard calming shhh and theirs lips connected in slow but passionate kiss. Armin released gripped bedding and put his hand on the brunet's shoulder. They pull apart short after Armin's quiet grunt when his gut told him that Levi got inside.

The raven-haired moved gently his pelvis and gained a sexy purr from beneath. He felt that his member rubbed against smooth, rounded thing inside Armin. He smiled under his breath, content that he entered with right angle at once, and thrusted with more confidence.

Few moments later he found himself on the peak of pleasure with Armin underneath him, arching and screaming yes! yes! in a frenzy of oblivion.

They fell asleep after refreshing shower, Armin cuddled to Levi's chest.

In the middle of night the blond woke up. At first he wasn't sure what had awoken him but then reality snapped to him. He saw Levi's back and his figure waving with restless breaths.

Is he… crying? The young man moved closer to his lover, unsure what he should do. If he should do anything…

"Levi? You had a bad dream?" asked softly and placed his hand on Levi's blade-bone. Then he could feel his anxious respiration, which gradually went sooth.

The answer came after longer while as Levi was struggling with his dignity and need.

"… yeah." muttered the man with a sigh to make harder to hear his answer clearly.

"What happened?" the blond started rubbing his shoulder roundly. He hoped this way he can comfort his boyfriend.

"I've dreamt that RoseMary's efficiency went down about 38% – utterly nightmare!" answered back with his nonchalant, emotionless tone.

"Liar." stated Armin. "But if you don't wanna talk about it I won't insist on you." said cuddling to his lover's warm back. He pressed his cheek to the soft skin, smelling better Levi's scent and sensing his breath.

". . . thank you." mouthed rather than whispered. Then he took the little one's hand and entwined their fingers tightly.

- - From Levi's note - -

Things the most important for me are happening right now, and I'm not going let the past break it. I'm not going let the past chasing me forever. I'm going to move on. This macabre circle of love-making and break-ups must come to an end! I must forget about the past.

But I can't let him know about this. If he knew, he would probably turn away from me. He would be scared, disgusted and run away. And I can't lose him…

Extras from writer: #BLOOPER xD

Levi and his blond comrade left the restaurant and headed to the parking lot in front the building. The raven-haired pressed the button unlocking his red Jaguar and opened the passenger's door for Armin and leaned slightly full of regard.

Armin looked at him as if he saw a dancing gorilla.

"C'mon." the short man frowned and gestured impatiently to hurry Armin up. "Get in."

The blond didn't react but shook his head slowly. His offbeat stare didn't change.

"I'm trying to be a gentleman." grunted the brunet. "Don't fuck with me when I've got this unique will to be nice!"

Armin smiled with pity "I hope you do not plan to drive."

"… Why not?" Levi eyed his partner tilting his thin eyebrow.

"You were the one who insisted on ordering wine to our meal. And you drank it."

Enlightenment widened Levi's eyes. He facepalmed with a slap, and from under his breath could be heard irritated snarls and murmurs.

Armin laughed reaching to his pocked. "I'll call a taxi."

[A/N]: Yeeeeah xD While re-reading their conversation at restaurant I realized that Levi is merrily sipping wine despite driving Armin there… Whoopsie~!
