I'M SORRY TO ANYBODY THAT TRIED READING THE FIRST UPLOAD, I DON'T KNOW WHY IT LOOKED LIKE THAT. I'M SORRY-REUPLOADED
A/N: I'm so sorry for not updating, got carried away with college (just graduated! YAY!) and completely forgot about all of this. Remembered it because of the HEYA podcast the other day. Reread the story today (sorry for the inconsistencies and plot holes in the writing, yikes) and decided to try and throw together an epilogue of sorts for closure on this story. Might also update the others I have up if you follow any of them you can look out for those. :) Thanks for reading this story and for all the love and support!

"Okay."
"Okay?" Brittany questioned hesitantly.
"Okay." Santana confirmed. "You have one more chance, that's it."
Brittany's eyes lit up at those words and she quickly engulfed Santana in a big hug and kissed her temple. "I promise Santana, you're never going to have a reason to not trust me again."
"I hope you're right."
8 years later~
The soft strumming of a guitar sounded from outside the window as Brittany was getting out of the shower. It was mid June, the day time sun had just started to go down leaving the sky starting a beautiful crescendo of colors. Today was a celebration, for many reasons.
Brittany had kept her promise to Santana from all those years ago, they were still together. And they were happy. The first thing that they were celebrating would be an early three year anniversary from their second wedding to each other. Their do-over, because they know that there's never going to be anything anywhere close to what they have with each other with anybody else.
They were celebrating this victory between the two of their small and loving family and most importantly they'd celebrate it again alone with each other later tonight. But this wasn't the only thing that they were celebrating today. Sugar had just finished fourth grade a few days prior and was going into the final leg of elementary school when the summer ends.
Beth has just graduated high school and has gotten a few acceptance letters to many different colleges. Of those colleges, Beth will probably follow in her mother's footsteps by going to Yale. Her younger siblings are all progressing through school with flying colors as well.
Tonight was a small get together celebration to celebrate all of the upcoming things they were excited about and planning. This was the first weekend since the school year ended, and it was a good excuse to have an end of the year bonfire like they used to do in high school.
As Brittany walked into their bedroom to change and get ready, she looked out the window to see Puck setting up things outside for everybody ranging from chairs, the grill and a section for the little kids to be when the fire was kicking. She loved that Puck always offered to help set up events for them, even though the "help" was really him doing it all by himself as Santana goofed off.
She continued scanning the yard and spotted her wife, surrounded by so many little in love faces. She was sitting in a chair softly strumming her acoustic guitar and singing to her young audience. Brittany could hear the song that Santana wrote for her from her first album, Honey. She smiled as she got dressed, ready to go help Puck and set up the rest of the yard and entertainment.

The fire was spattering as the sun was in its last stretch before disappearing for the night. A close-knit circle surrounded the fire of the adults with their children roasting marshmallows. Sugar, now almost 10 years old was sitting with Quinn's middle kids Ziggy, Olivia and Christopher.
You could hear their immature humor that was based strongly on fart jokes and weird voices. You could hear Sugar's jokes and how similar they were to Brittany's and how easily it was for her to laugh at the jokes of the other children. She was a shining 9-year-old comedian with a mixed resemblance of her parents.
Sugar was now the oldest of three kids.
Brittany and Santana had a set of twins who were now a little over 2 years old.
The twins, Sky and Delilah. Delilah was a beautiful baby girl who had very curly blonde hair and blue eyes like Brittany's. She was a very funny baby who adored her brother Sky, or Skylar, more than anything. Skylar had very curly dark hair like Santana but remained in possession of the light baby blues that screamed Brittany. Sky was a very open little boy who was able to make anybody smile. He was also very LOUD. Sky and Delilah were inseparable, and very sneaky, only speaking in their twin talk whenever in big groups.
But the twins were best friends with their cousin Howie, Quinn's youngest son who would be turning three soon.
Quinn and Santana pregnant at the same time was not a fun experience for anybody, except maybe the two of them. They were both so demanding and needy that Puck and Brittany were ready to rip their own hair out every time they would hear one of the women yell "baby" across the flat. But that's over now, Quinn doesn't want anymore kids because five is enough and Santana and Brittany agreed that if they did have one more, Brittany would carry.
The night was filled with laughter and lots of love between the two small families.

The pair wouldn't have imagined a night like this, or any of the many other magical nights they've had together over the last eight years when things went wrong. They, thankfully, didn't miss out on too much time together because, well, they're soulmates. They both knew with every fiber of who they were that they were just waiting out the clock until they ended up together again.
But it didn't just happen this easily.
"I promise Santana, you'll never have a reason to not trust me again."
"I hope you're right."
There was a brief pause as they stood under the stars outside of Santana's mom's house. Santana tried to loosen up her body as she was wrapped in the blonde's arms, but was failing miserably. So, she took a deep breath,
"But I need to know everything. I can't not know. What happened, why didn't you tell me you were staying with her? Why did you lie to me Brittany?"
"Santana, I-"
"Brittany, I need to know. I've tried letting it go. I've tried letting it go for months and just when I think I have, something happens that reminds me that I'm obviously not over it and it hurts. I need some kind of closure, please."
Brittany sighed and took a deep breath. She gestured for them to sit down on the floor in the grass again. She reached over and held Santana's hand gently in her own as she looked up and locked eyes with her soulmate.
"Okay, here it is-"
Brittany began to go on a long monologue about how she and Celia had been friends most of her life. Santana only knew that at one point they "dated", if you can call sleeping together a few times when you were a teenager dating. But Santana knew that aspect of their relationship, and that was the problem. Brittany went on to explain how right before she left on her trip to go to fix her contracts in LA, Celia kept contacting Rachel because she couldn't get in contact with Brittany.
Brittany had booked a hotel and had a whole plan of what to do while working in LA, but the company she was renewing her contract with was trying to butter her up so they covered all of the expenses, which is why there were no charges on their joint account. All of the weird conversation pieces that Brittany had with Santana was just her being herself, saying weird and unsettling things as usual.
"What about all of the weird stuff in the mall, I saw you on Facetime Brittany. I saw you with your arm around her and I saw you drag her out by the wrist when you saw Javier."
"She had contacted Rachel multiple times trying to get in contact with me, but I avoided her. She said that she needed to talk to me, that she was desperate that something bad had happened. So Rachel gave her my phone number."
"Fucking Berry," Santana mumbled.
"She kept calling me and calling me. After getting fed up with the constant calls I finally picked up." Brittany shook her head softly. "And I'm sorry that I did. She said that she was desperate that she needed to see me and speak to me because she had nobody else. I told her that I would talk to her because I didn't want her to do anything stupid to hurt herself, so I met her at the mall. In a public place so she couldn't try anything disrespectful."
Santana maintained eye contact, "what'd she want?"
"She was in a huge fight with her family over somebody that she was trying to date or something stupid like that. It was something that she felt I would be able to sort out with her family for her because they know me. My arm was around her because she was crying when I told her that I wouldn't and the only reason that I left and dragged her out when I saw Javier is because I knew the image would get skewed. I wanted to be the one to tell you, I didn't want him to, but he did."
Santana put her head down and shook it softly before looking up to see soft blue eyes.
"So why did she continue to call you for months, it couldn't have just been that Brittany."
"I never picked up any of her calls, so I don't know why she kept calling me." Brittany shrugged sadly, "I think she kept trying to call me in hopes that I would change my mind and talk to her family. I think she still talks to Rachel, but I've told Rachel I don't want anything to do with her and for her to tell Celia to stop."
Santana nodded softly.
"And I'm sorry Santana, I should've deleted her phone number. I think I didn't delete it so that I could avoid picking up her call by accident, so I'm sorry that seeing her calling hurt you."
"I'm sorry for not believing you, or wanting to listen." Santana whispered. "It just hurt so badly, I felt like anything you were saying to me was just a lie to cover up something wrong that you did because I was carrying your baby, our baby. I'm so sorry Brittany."
When Santana looked up to meet Brittany's eyes, she had tears building up in the corners of her eyes. Brittany leaned in and took Santana in a big hug and kissed her on the top of her head.
"It's okay," Brittany started, "it looked really bad..like really really bad. But I would never do that to you. It's different with us, you know I would never do that to you."
Santana nodded.
"I love you, Brit. And I am so so sorry."
"I love you too Sanny, I always will."
