I apologize for taking so long posting the next chapter for this. I'm in the making of my Hetalia Revolutionary War fan fiction. Though, here it is delivered to you on a sliver platter. Enjoy and review please!
Joey, Tea and I were at New Orleans City Park by the lake near Golf Dr. where we were feeding ducks and training. Joey and I agreed that wrestling would be a good way for us to build our muscles and learn some techniques. We'd also discuss some plans of what we were going to do.
While feeding the ducks, we discussed plans. Tea began being a little more involved in my superhero gig, since finding out about me being Yu-Gi-Oh and all.
"So, still nothing from White Slinger?" Joey asked.
"Nope," I replied, checking my iPhone for any messages from White Slinger on Facebook. I hadn't got anything from him, since the robbery and shootout at the church, which was about three days ago.
"I hope he's okay. That was dangerous, you know, to be doing that shit in the middle of the night. You probably should've gone alone or something," Tea brought up. She has a point.
I sighed, rubbing my temples, before replying, "I know." There was a second pause before I continued. "It was a church. Who the hell just robs a church, and who the hell decides to go in and shoot everyone?"
"Beats me. Did you say you were going to get a hold of Big Brother and Little Sister?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, though I'm really not sure. I mean I can't exactly trust them and, if I do get a hold of them, what if I get kidnapped, drugged and sent to god knows where?" I asked. It's not like kidnapping teenagers is rare. I hear this on the News on a regular basis.
"Personally, I think you should find another way of doing this, but it's not like you're not risking it as it is," Tea said. She's right, yet again.
"I know- I... I don't know. I know I should contact them to exchange information on Gozoburro, but I don't know how to do it in such a way that I can guarantee my safety," I said, ripping out a piece of bread, then throwing it to the ducks, who came swarming all over the piece of bread I threw into the water. I always found it funny how ducks just dive their heads in just to get that one little piece of bread.
"You can have me keep an eye on ya, while you're doing your stuff," Joey suggested, throwing a piece of bread into the water for the ducks to eat.
"I thought of that, but it doesn't ease my nerves. I suppose it'd help, if I knew their secret identity, to give me some sort of advantage, but I don't want to make them remove their masks for me, unless I remove my own."
"Hm..." Tea thought, rubbing her chin, then throwing another piece of bread into the lake. "Maybe you can just have them tag along on your heroic missions. You usually go around social areas to do your stuff anyways, right? There will be other people around, so if they try anything funny, it'll at least be seen by witnesses."
"I guess that's a good idea. I can message them to meet me on one of my patrols," I decided, getting on my iPhone, and finally messaging them where to meet. I was going to patrol around West Metairie, and told them to meet me on the road by Delta Playground.
"And I'll watch out for you, just in case," Joey winked.
"You're the best," I replied with a grateful smile before throwing out another piece of bread to the ducks. They all started gathering, quacking about.
"And... I'm all out of bread," Tea sighed, emptying the bag, crumbs sprinkling out.
"You know what that means," I smirked, emptying the crumbs from my bag too.
Tea's eyes widened and, in one mere second, I wrestled Tea to the ground, us beginning to tackle each other. Joey eventually joined.
That night, I began walking to Delta Playground, then instantly met up with Big Brother and Little Sister. I was extremely nervous, but began relaxing a bit when the three of us began to talk. I mentioned to them about what happened at the church, in which they told me something I found to be shocking.
"Those yahoos at the church were from Gozoburro. We were trying to figure out what shit he was planning," Little Sister explained first.
"The ones you said shot them was me. We didn't know you and some White Slinger were involved, or we would've warned you before making that little scene," Big Brother explained, which made me extremely nervous at how I was going to reply to that. I mean he just said he killed a bunch of people; criminals, but people, like it was an everyday occurrence. It took every muscle in my body to not freak out over this.
"Why you kill them? That's a bit extreme," I replied.
"Gozoburro is more deadly than you think, and those f**kers were after us, trying to kill us."
"Why?"
"Well, specifically, he's after the ones, who have dirt on what him and his men are doing, and HAVE been doing. Gozoburro is trying to do whatever it takes to keep his dirty little secret clean, after the shit he pulled."
"I know Gozoburro and his men are up to something, but I don't know what. All I know is that you guys are shooting down their facilities for some reason I don't know! For all I know, you all could be criminals just having some petty gang war."
"It ain't no gang war! Gozoburro'z a greedy, racist, dirty son of a bitch!" Little Sister shouted in anger at me, while pushing me against the fence.
"Little Sister-" Big Brother said before Little Sister continued.
"Before Gozoburro, anotha person worked head of Kaiba Corporation! His name was Seto Kaiba. He won rights to own that company from Gozoburro through hard work and sacrifice. One day, Gozoburro went over the edge and killed his parents. He was placed in court for their murder, and was found guilty by the jury, despite the fact he didn't do no murder," Little Sister explained as I stood frozen. "He went missin' the next day, including his sister, Makala. Gozoburro ruin' their lives over greed, and killed their parents in cold blood!"
"Didn't the police make any investigation on the crime?" I asked
"They did, but the jury was full of niggas!"
"That's a pretty big card to use... I mean I've used that word before, but-"
"Did I mention Seto's parents were integrated?"
I blinked as Little Sister sighed, "these f**kers just want to be their own little passe! They all ge' ticked off when a white man attacks them, but when they do it, they f**king get away with it just because they're all black. If I was to go into their group with my brother, ain't lettin' me join their party, just 'cause my brother is white!"
I sighed and darted my eyes to the ground. Little Sister was right. So many people around here are very discriminative against integrated married couples or children. At the same time, there are a good number of niggers that try to use the racist trump card when they're the ones being the racist asshole. When it comes down to it, racism is wrong no matter which color believes to be the dominate one.
"If the verdict was already carried out, then you plan on doing? I mean you can't prove this guy's innocence, and-" I said before being cut off.
"What do you think we're planning on doing?" Big Brother stated boldly.
"I-I see," I stuttered.
"The police aren't going to do anything, so what else can we do?"
"I know, I know, it's just..."
"And ain't asked ya to join," Little Sister stated. "'Cept, we think Gozoburro, in trying to kill us, might be after you."
"W-What?" I choked.
"You're famous and posted that video on your Facebook. He believes you're working for us, and will stop at nothing to make sure you're dead. That little scene at the church proves that. If we had not arrived, you'd be kidnapped and dead by now," Big Brother said.
At this point, we had already walked across the street, and over next to Dollar General, which was closed. That was when I felt a buzzing vibration coming from my iPhone. I checked it to find that it was from White Slinger. My eyes widened, reading the message, "where are you? I need you behind Home Depot by Roosevelt Blvd".
"It's White Slinger. He says something's up at Home Depot. Why does he keep running off at night?" I glared at his phone.
"How old is this kid?" Little Sister asked.
"I think your age, why?"
"This the same kid that led you to the church, right? I smell one ugly rat."
"I'm not sure about him either, but he could be in serious trouble."
"He shouldn't even be out at night, especially since you mentioned that you don't train him during the night," Big Brother pointed out.
"And he might just not listen like most kids his age. I know there is a chance he could lead me to a trap, but if he's not, then he's my responsibility," I said, feeling determined. "We talk later. I have to look after my protegee."
I ran off, trying to find the shortest route to where White Slinger claimed he was located. I felt nervous, but also kept telling myself that it might not be a trap either. The idea that it was a trap jumbled inside my mind. I just decided that, if it was a trap, then I would take it head on. That was the only thing I could think of. It's not like I have some private security system or something.
I hopped on my bike, which was locked to the fence of Delta Playground. I rode on my way across the street of West Metairie until I came to Roosevelt Blvd. I rode along the road up North, on my way to Home Depot. I could see Joey riding far behind me, who knew something was up. I gave him a signal that something came up before continuing.
It was a matter of time before I finally made it behind Home Depot. I searched around to look for White Slinger. That's when I saw a group of men, two I recognized from the levee. I began running from them before running into more of them. I began fighting my way through them, but was tasered before I was given the chance. Before I knew it, my whole world went black, and this was the least of my worries.
