I apologize for the long, unnecessary wait . . . And for the short chapter. But better late than never, right?
"Red, we're drawing near to the Fa'hu's flagship." The Irken man groaned, cracking open an eye. His tall Vortian friend loomed over him. "Ah God, you do not look well, child." Red watched as Lard Nar walked into the cockpit to retrieve something. He came back moments later with the First Aid kit. "You're deathly pale, My Tallest. You should've stayed aboard the Massive. You're injuries are much too severe." Red could barely process what Lard Nar was saying. His hearing kept going in and out.
"My son," Red whispered. "has been taken." Nar shook his head. He cut the old bandages that wrapped around Red's shoulder, chest, and hips with the scissors.
"You need clothes, Tallest Red."
"Give me some of yours."
"You'll be swimming in them."
"You're not too much bigger than I."
"Try a whole half a foot."
"Not a big difference." Lard Nar sighed. Red wasn't catching his point. The captain changed his voice to a empathetic tone so Red knew he was being serious and concerned.
"Kato," Lard Nar said softly. Red perked his antenna at his birth name knowing what was about to be said would be dire. "I think you should stay and rest and let me board. I'll take Ara with me and she'll be able to sniff out Prince ZIM before anyone will notice that we've breached their vessel." If Red weren't so weak, he would've stood right up and backhanded the Vortian.
"Nar, I'm going!" Red choked and coughed. Bloody drool oozed from the corners of his mouth. Lard Nar cringed at the sight and used his hand to wipe his friend's mouth. "I'm the one who's going to get my son back and I'll be the one who'll murder the bastards who took him in the first place."
"Red, you're mad. You'll never be able to keep up your strength. You're sick and hurt. Don't be a fool, child, just stay and rest. Let me rescue your son. I'll tell ZIM all about your bravery and effort at trying to get him back . . . Hell, you managed to sneak out of the heavily guarded Massive without being caught, with bleeding, bullet holes in your body . . . and while naked! That takes some guts and determination in order to do that." Red used all the remaining strength in his body to sit up. Lard Nar hastily pushed him back down to the mattress, he wasn't done dressing Red's wounds.
"I don't care. I just want my son back." Red hissed. His eye lids got heavy. No. He didn't want that. He needed to stay awake. He needed to get his son. "We're getting him . . . Both of us . . . I'm just so . . . tired." Red's eyes started to slip shut. The last thing he saw was Lard Nar with a small smile on his face reaching a hand out to touch his cheek.
...
Red opened his eyes wide. He gasped sitting straight up and looking around the cabin in bewilderment. He had fallen asleep, and for how long? And where was Captain Nar? And Ara? Why was he alone? Red sprang to his feet despite the screaming agony from his body. He still wasn't dressed so he pulled the bed sheet up with him.
"Computer, where's Captain Nar?"
"He's left, My Tallest. He and Ara took a individual space craft the Redemption sent while you slept and flew over to the Fa'hu's ship." Anger boiled within Red.
"I need to go!"
"The Captain told me to keep watch over you. He told me you are not well."
"I must leave!"
"I cannot let you do that." Red was taken back by this.
"I am a Tallest, God damnit! You obey me! Not him!"
"He's taller than even you, My Tallest."
"He's not Irken!"
"His people designed me." Red was about to retort. "If I let you leave, I put your life in danger. Putting the Tallest's life in danger is not in my programming."
"You're a worthless piece of shit!"
"Insults don't hurt me, My Tallest. I'm a computer, I have no feelings." Red sunk back down to the bed, defeated and out of breath from the sudden excitement. He felt stupid too. Arguing with a talking computer of all things. Robotic arms came from out of the ceiling to tend to Red. "My Tallest, see to reason. In your condition, you'll probably do more harm than help. ZIM needs someone strong and healthy. Not wounded."
"I can only imagine what those filthy bastards are doing to him now." Red rasped.
...
A fist collided with his face and he was sent falling back.
"Come on, Princess. I thought the great almighty and powerful king of Irk himself taught you how to fight." ZIM growled and lunged toward the ugly creature that assaulted him. The Fa'hu evaded and grabbed ZIM by the arm and twisted it behind his back painfully. This made ZIM gasp, choking on his own breath and coughing. The crewmen laughed at ZIM's misery.
"Come, Princess! Fight! Fight!" A smaller member hissed with his hideous eye practically bulging out of his head. "You fight! Haha!" The men continued jibing and poking fun. ZIM felt tears pricking his eyes but he would not allow them to fall. That's a weakness.
It was better this than the other thing that he would otherwise be doing now if he accepted the vile of medicine.
Perverts.
He thought to himself. How sick they were for even suggesting something so disgusting and demeaning to the Prince of Irk! How dare they.
"He don't look royalty. He look pathetic! He weak!" Another called. ZIM shuddered as he looked about the room of full grown alien men all speaking in broken Irken tongue just so ZIM could understand their weak insults.
There were many of them. Nothing was really stopping them from doing those awful things to ZIM. Just the captains orders. But ZIM highly doubted that the captain would punish any of his crewmen if they tried something with ZIM. The thought scared ZIM. That would mean he wouldn't get the medicine and he'd be violated.
"He tiny like little smeet."
"He no scary! Haha! He small and dumb!" ZIM backed up against the wall. Bad idea. He knew that. His dad told him to never get caught between a wall and his enemy.
Once the meeting with the captain was over, Huck threw him to his crew and allowed them to mercilessly beat and torment him but not to the point of death. Then all bets were off with the Irkens and the Tallests would order to incinerate them all.
"Yellow child so funny!"
"Green! Holy shit you guys are stupid!" ZIM decided that they weren't being racist. They just didn't know the Irken word for green. They also didn't realize that ZIM was trying to give them subtle color lessons. And they were calling him stupid.
A Fa'hu advanced on ZIM. The boy shrunk down. A few hands reached out to him, touching his shoulder and pulling his antenna. One big Fa'hu grabbed his shirt and pulled him away from the wall. The man looked ZIM up and down. He touched ZIM's cheek.
"He soft like dolly!" He threw ZIM over to his colleague just as large.
"Stop!" ZIM cried.
"He cry like dolly!" They all laughed. The Fa'hu now holding him started to rip ZIM's shirt.
"No! Stop!" ZIM kicked him. The alien was unfazed. Nothing ZIM did hurt him. His grasp on ZIM's shirt remained firm. The shirt the captain gave ZIM ripped completely. ZIM was now bare from the waist up. It was only a matter of time. ZIM thought. They were gonna do bad things to him. ZIM curled up in a ball on the ground. He wept. He couldn't handle it anymore. He was going to be molested and he couldn't do a thing to stop them. ZIM laid there, eyes covered, just waiting for their ugly hands to touch him all over. Defiling the poor boy at the young age of five. He'd be traumatized for the rest of his long Irken life, that is if he lived to be six. Finally he felt it. A set of cold hands lifting him by the hips. Other hands ran over his smooth back. ZIM sobbed. He didn't care if they saw him. He hoped that they'd see his misery and feel bad. He didn't think they'd change their minds but it was worth a shot.
"Let's see if we can put him to use." The men grunted in reply.
"What are you doing?" A voice boomed. The crewmen all whirled around. The man holding ZIM released him. The captain stood in the doorway of ZIM's cell. "Back away from the smeet!" The captain hissed. They did. Huck stormed over to ZIM and grabbed his forearm. "I told you not to rape this time!"
"But Cap'n, you say we do what we want."
"Anything but violation of his privacy!" Huck shouted. "Who started this? Who tore off his shirt?" No one dared to speak. "Who!" He bellowed louder. The crew finally started playing the blame game. The majority of the fingers pointed rested on the same guy that ripped the shirt. "Seize him. Kill him. I will not tolerate disobedience." Before ZIM could even watch the execution, Huck dragged him out and down the halls. They came to the captains quarters. Huck pushed ZIM into the room. "You stay in here now. Don't think I'm going soft on you, Irken. But we made a deal. You'll be left untreated and your privacy would be spared." With that note, the Fa'hu spun on his heal and left. Locking the door on his way out. Relief washed over him. He sighed, sitting on the floor.
"Aba, hurry."
...
"Thank you so much, Captain. You have no idea how relieved I am." Purple nearly collapsed when he found out that Lard Nar snuck away from the ship he was on with Red to get ZIM himself instead of Red.
"He won't be happy when I get back."
"What can he do? He's hurt. Besides, he most certainly will be happy. After all, ZIM will be safe and sound. At least I hope." Purple raised his arms a bit. He had drones surrounding him. They were dressing him with a elite battle suit for when he boards the Fa'hu's ship. He'd be going on himself with just four other men and women. Invader Nata included.
"My Tallest, should we board weapons drawn?" Purple looked back. It was Nata who spoke. He smiled at her.
"No, no. Keep your weapons down. We don't want to seem imposing." Purple bent over and fixed his combat boot. He felt a dainty hand rest on his back. The thumb rubbing small circles. Purple smirked, erecting himself. He looked down at the invader. "How can a brutal, Irken, elite soldier have such gentle hands?" He interwound his three fingers with hers. Her other hand raised to his chin, caressing his soft skin on his jawline. Purple grinned. He finally found a tall, strong, woman to fit perfectly with his interests. Better yet, she was in the Invader Class. Purple shut his eyes closing the small gap between their faces. Just as their lips were about to brush a stern voice interrupted.
"My Tallest, you should really get your priorities straight right now." Purple pulled away from Nata, glaring at his advisor across the room. The Tallest picked up a paper weight from his desk and chucked it at Advisor Urii. It hit the tall Irken right in between the eyes. Urii fell back, holding his bruised face.
"Interrupt me so rudely again and I'll throw something heavier next time." Purple hissed his way. The Tallest turned back to Nata. "He's right though. We need to get back to work." She smiled, giving his hand a squeeze.
"Fine. You owe me now."
So again, short chapter, sorry for that.
Gotta question for y'all, who do you want to see more of in this story. It doesn't have to be one person, and can be a pairing that you'd like to see even. Any pairings or individuals? Maybe someone that hasn't been written in the story yet. Leave your answers via review, PM, or email.
Have a fab life!
