The battle itself… happened. When Tony tried to negotiate, Rhodey supporting him in line, Cap wouldn't listen. The nerve of him- he actually brought the Winter Solder, the cause of this whole mess! Cap was just refusing to listen to reason and, "Spidey" Tony called. With the situation escalating to a fight, he would give them his best. Peter did his job admirably, swinging out in an exaggerated flourish and webbing Cap's shield before swinging over to land on a nearby car. "I didn't know that it would be that easy?" Peter exclaimed, the white of his eyepieces widening as Peter's brows raised in excitement. "Wait, it can show my expressions too? Awesome!" Peter exclaimed. Still, he suddenly dropped the shield inside the car, quick as if it was hot, "But was there supposed to be a tiny person on the shield? Cause there is now, and I don't think that I have heard any stories about someone being on the shield, and that totally sounds like the sort of thing that would be heavily publicized. Also, why is that tiny person- "Peter was cut of from his one-sided discussion by the slow motion of a rolling car.

"Get me out of this thing" Ant-man exclaimed. He was getting bigger, and was now uncomfortable smushed in a car much to big for him.

"I thought that you were supposed to stay a secret ace?" Steve said, not certain about what Ant man was doing.

"I just nearly drowned in someone's cola!" Ant-man exclaimed. "How does anyone even have that sort of aim in the first place? It was a narrow-lipped bottle, for goodness sake, not some puddle, or even a car"

"I think that my plus one just beet yours" Tony said, not sure what else to say. "Great job, Spidey. I think that you have one against Captain America"

"Aww, that was it?" Peter grumbled. "I thought that I would actually get a fight scene, not a round of frisbee. I mean, sure, it was an iconic frisbee, but that's still just a frisbee"

"Mabey you he should get out of the way of the car before he gloats" Steve said, noticing the car was getting fairly close to 'Spidey' who had jumped of it before he started rambling. Spiderman jumped over the car and kept talking.

"Never mind then" Captain America said, and saying such, leapt into battle, with or without his shield. He faired considerable worse than he would have done with it. Ironman knocked him out with two successive repulse blasts. Bucky, for all of his training, couldn't actually beat a few blasts from War Machine. When Scarlet Witch tried to clear a path to the airplane, Vision was easily able to match her. Peter, bored of laughing about his success, started interfering in everyone else's battles. He webbed strait in Captain America's fight, further crippling his performance. Wanda couldn't fight nearly as well when trying to simultaneously dodge web blasts, even though Vision faced no such problem, being able to fly. Still, Peter was distracted from his battle when Black Widow started failing against the Winter Soldier. Peter left the Fight with Scarlet Witch in order to web up the Winter Solder. For all of his supposed training, he couldn't fight when webbed up like some fly. Peter added a few extra webs to further trap him, just for good measure. The best thing that he saw he could do now was get Antman re-secured. He was causing some problems for Black Widow. A few webs, one irritated person in a panther suit, and Peter was set for the next stage of the battle.

Most of the Avengers were lined up now. Ironman had War-machine behind him and Vision above him. Black Widow was behind him, and Peter had already passed over Black Panther. Oh, Black Widow had already beaten Ant-man, who had gotten out of the car a few minutes after he was trapped inside of it. The shield was back in the battle. Oops. "This is your last chance" Iron Man called. "Surrender, and I can probably find some way to minimize your charges for your most recent actions" he added. Ironman sure looked like he was trying to do his best. The other team, on the other hand, were resolute as they fallowed in Captain America's declaration of non-surrender. The propaganda must be getting to their heads.

This time, the shield wasn't the priority. Using the opportunity to fight against the Captain America was. Spiderman zoomed over, webbing Steve Rogers as he flew over. So as no not further disrupt his fight with Ironman, Peter focused on downing the archer. It didn't take more than a few aims and some constant motion. Any being with lesser awareness of their surroundings would be dizzy by now. The archer himself seemed to be beaten more by dizziness from trying to track her than any tricks on Peter's part. With him out of the fight, Black Widow could concentrate on the Winter solder again. How did that guy escape? It took a little more work to pin him this time, but that was because Falcon made a nucince of himself. With those two unavailable, Peter could focus on Captain America again- or not. Scarlet Witch was racking up a surprising amount of property damage for someone who was being dragged though the coals for it. It was more of a priority to incapacitate her. Peter couldn't stop, had to remain in her blind spot as she hurled cars at him. It took several tries, and a few useless or missed shots, but she was finally trapped beyond the ability to use her weird vague powers. Still, there was some collateral, but now he could face Captain- are you kidding me? He still couldn't, this time because metal arm had escaped again. Now Peter had to go all the way back over there- never mind, Black Widow was there and so was Ironman—oh, no. She had turned, abandoned her side. If she was going to switch sides, couldn't she at least have the decency to do so at the beginning of the battle? Peter just couldn't make it there in time.

What could Peter do? Antman was out of his trap again, and the damage to the plane seemed significant. Alright, Peter would go after him.

With Ant-man scaled up like this, Peter couldn't fight him in the traditional sense. Still, Peter remembered a science in a movie where someone this out of scale was defeated. Climbing up and building momentum, Peter attached a web to Ant-man's head and started swinging around him. It took a few loops, but Antman tripped and fell down. Now, to stick the landing. Aiming at a vertical surface, Peter let go and braced for impact. It was harder than he expected, but Peter could make it. Peter didn't see anything wrong with himself physically, but he was still carful about his nest action. Peter rested a few seconds to regain his breath, and then he saw where he could help out. War Machine was falling. Peter could help with that.

Swinging over to a closer surface, Peter caught War Machine with a web. Waiting until he was about to crash, Peter dropped the web and caught him with another. It didn't get much, but it had slowed down his decent. Still, right now Peter was just tired.
