Chapter 10: Return of the Warrior of Light

Daisuke sighed again. It had taken some time to get Takuya to calm down. He clearly didn't like that his brother had to get involved. He rolled his eyes as he opened up the Digital Gate and entered the Digital World.

Daisuke blinked at the destruction. Buildings were destroyed. Threes and homes were burned or flattened. Water was dried up and there were huge craters on the ground. In the distance the sound of powerful digimon fighting could be heard. Were they really that close?

"Wow," Zoe breathed as she took in the Digital World that wasn't destroyed. Everything looked so different.

"This is not how I remember the Digital World," J.P. said as he scratched his head.

"What you expect?" Koji asked, annoyed. "Who knows how many years has passed since we last came?"

"True," Takuya agreed. "At least we don't have to ride Trailmon anymore for days on end."

"What's so bad about that?" Shinya asked.

"You don't want to know," J.P. groaned. Jun, Shinya, and Yutaka blinked in confusion.

Daisuke frowned as they looked around. He glanced at Yamato and noticed that he was distracted. He was looking at the sky with a dark expression. Daisuke had a feeling he knew what was going around his mind. Don't worry Ken. Please hang on.

"Let's get going," Taichi spoke up, who was watching Yamato as well.

"Right!"

Yamato was beyond worried. He was angry. Furious even. His boyfriend had been taken, again. That Demon Lord has him again. When was this going to end?

He sighed as he followed Taichi and Takuya. Koji and Daisuke were walking next to him, looking just as determined to find Ken and Kouichi. Yamato sighed as he thought about his boyfriend. Ken must be so scared right now. Must be feeling so alone and hurt. Who knows what that digimon is doing to him? Ken could be hurt...again! Yamato groaned as he saw a image of his boyfriend being beaten and chained. He squashed that thought away. Ken's father was gone. He can't hurt him again. They made sure of that.

Yamato glanced at Koji and wondered if he was having thoughts about his brother. Koichi was taken too and might be getting hurt, just like Ken.

Yamato looked at his best friend. Taichi was determined to find Ken. They had all gotten closer over the months since Ken's rape. Ken had gotten so far in the months that they lived together. Yamato had to smile at that. Ken had been willing to do this relationship with him, Taichi, and Daisuke. Ken wasn't bothered with it, although they hadn't gotten that far either. It was simple dates and kissing really.

Yamato had wanted to go farther into their relationship. But he was worried if Ken actually wanted too. Yamato was worried about Ken's nightmares and panic attacks. Ken could handle kissing and cuddling, which was go. But there were a few times when Ken would just freeze whenever he got too far south.

Yamato sighed. This was Ken's parents fault. They had hurt him so much and such a short amount of time. Ken was still healing from those injuries. And now...now he was being used by some digimon, again.

Yamato groaned and kicked a rock. He had to save him. He was going to save. And nothing was going to stop him.

Koji stared blankly as the walked further into the forest. The forest was starting to get dark. Koji didn't mind. He wasn't really paying attention anyway. He was too busy thinking about his older brother and younger cousin.

Koji couldn't help but feel angry and a bit pissed. He couldn't stop the angry thoughts the swirled in his mind whenever an image of his brother being hurt came to mind. The same was with his cousin. Ken had been through so much. Too much for his liking. He glared at the trees as they got deeper and deeper.

Taichi had said that they managed to track Ken's D-Tector. The signal was on the other side of the Dark Forest. Although he had a feeling this could be a trap. Then again he didn't care one bit. His brother and cousin were in danger. He didn't want to think about what they were being tortured with. He wasn't sure he would be able to stay calm if that was the case.

He heard Yamato sigh a couple of times. He must be thinking about Ken. Koji allowed his cold demeanor to melt a bit. He wasn't the only one upset about his brother and cousin's kidnapping. Yamato was...Well, he couldn't really describe how he felt towards this Chosen. He hated the others. He could believe they were supposed to protect and rescue him. He really didn't want to work with them to save the Digital World. If the Demon Lords were anything like Lucemon, the Chosen wouldn't stand a chance.

Koji glanced at Yamato. He looked just as awful as he probably was. Koji smiled slightly. Koji did like Yamato. He seemed to care about his cousin very much, Daisuke and Taichi too. Although the two google heads did leave an unwanted need to hit them. That was a line that Takuya usual took up, unfortunately.

Koji staggered back when Daisuke gasped and suddenly stopped. "Hey, watch where you're going!"

Koji glared at his cousin's best friend, but his glare came short when he saw the look of fear in his brown orbs. Koji felt his mouth go dry. What was wrong with him? Did he feel something from his cousin? Oh, god. He hoped nothing bad.

"Daisuke, what's wrong?" Taichi asked in concern.

Daisuke blinked his eyes as tears began to form. "Ken. He's…"

"What about Ken?" Yamato asked sharply. "Is that bitch hurting him again?"

Koji shuddered. No. Why him? Please say that he's okay.

Daisuke shallowed. "I don't know," he admitted. "I heard Ken screaming my name. He sounded scared. I also vaguely heard laughter in the background."

Koji and Yamato cursed colorfully. Koji looked and Yamato and a silent agreement came to them. They weren't going to let this continue any longer. Yamato turned to his partner while Koji took out his D-Tector.

A ball of fractal code surround his hand and he scanned it into his D-Tector. "Execute! Beast Spirit Evolution!" Fractal code surround him into a ball of data. His clothes was replaced with the wolf armor of his beast spirit form. "KendoGarurumon!"

KendoGarurumon looked at Yamato when Gabumon finished warp digivolving. "MetalGarurumon!" KendoGarurumon was impressed. If he didn't know any better, the metal wolf next to him could have been his twin.

MetalGarurumon bend down to allow Yamato to get on him. "Let's go!" MetalGarurumon nodded and they both flew into the air.

"Koji!"

"Yamato!"

"COME BACK!"

KendoGarurumon ignored them all. He had a cousin and brother to save.

"Leave him alone!" Koichi yelled as he struggled to get out of his binds. He couldn't stand to look at his cousin being tortured like this. Tears stung his eyes as the Corrupted Darkness attempted to reenter Ken's frail body, only to retreat with a scream when the Neutral Darkness fought back.

Small whimpers escaped Ken's lips as the battle between the two Darkness's continued. Ken's eyes were still blank. Ken was not in control. He was still locked away within his mind, but like him, Ken must have seen what was going on. He could probably feeling it to. He had to get them out of here!

Koichi fought against the binds again. It cut through his skin, leaving a warm trail in its wake. He bit his bottom lip at the slight discomfort. He had to remember that this was nothing compared to what his cousin was going through.

"Why isn't this working?" Koichi glared at the Demon Lord of Lust in disgust. She seemed frustrated in her inability to claim the Neutral Darkness.

"The Neutral Darkness is not something for you to control, witch!"

"Witch am I?" she asked with a sinister laugh. "Oh my dear Warrior of Darkness," she chided. "I haven't even begun. This is only the beginning."
