Chapter eleven-
it'd been a week, Phil and I kept to our normal routine, except for now he kissed me and didn't wait until I fell asleep to cuddle with me.
I found myself in the ring with Jon practicing, I groaned as Jon locked in for dirty deeds and whack "err that shit always hurts'' I moaned turning over to my back panting.
"i showed you how to get out of it" I heard colbys voice making me turn my head, I shrugged sitting up "i know but I forgot"
"like me to show you?" he asked coming in the ring, I nodded standing up "OK come here" this was our first physical contact since two weeks ago, I bent forward " OK lock your left foot into mine" he told me, I nodded "OK when I start to pull forward bring that foot back" I followed his instruction causing him to land on his face, I smirked sitting up.
"perfect, just remember that" he told me sitting up I nodded "i doubt any of the divas is gonna pull dirty deeds on me" I told him.
"but Jon would, your feuding with us" I nodded
"yea but to get in the ring I need a diva and lets face it, summer rea doesn't fit with the shield" I joked and sighed hating how much it stung to say her name, Colby nodded looking down.
" no she doesn't, but you would" I laughed.
"but im not so im kinda stuck being a cheerleader for now" I told him, he nodded.
"I'll get you in the ring, you can do my curb stomp on me" he winked both of us sitting up , it was actually nice to talk to him like this, like old times, I nodded "ill hold you to that Lopez" I said climbing out of the ring.
"where you going?" Jon asked, I looked to Colby and shrugged "to meet Phil for lunch" I said grabbing my t-shirt off the railing, I seen his face fall and sighed, I nodded to Jon and walked off.
I felt a little guilty seeing how hurt Colby looked, I shook my head, he did this and I had every right to move on, and Phil was perfect, I had a right to be happy and I was with Phil, actually it made me realize I wasn't as happy as thought the last year or so with Colby
I walked into catering and smiled seeing Phil sitting with a bottle of water, I walked over to him and kissed him lightly on the cheek, he smiled up at me "hey you ready?" he asked, I nodded as he took my hand.
We hadn't verbally announced what we were to anyone, or really each other, but Phil had no problem holding my hand in public and little public displays of affection, I think right now Phil was giving me time to get used to the idea of us.
"hey Sam" I heard Stephanie call out making us stop and me turn around as she jogged to me "hey Phil" she smiled at our entwined hands "OK so change of plans tonight, its going to be a tag again, Daniel, you guys vs Seth dean and aj lee" she told me, I nodded smiling.
"oh I might have some actual work?" I asked making her smile, she nodded "OK thank you Stephanie'' I told her, I smiled up at Phil " I get in the ring" I sang doing a little dance making him laugh.
"this is going to be interesting" he commented I looked at him confused.
"i did fine with Colby a couple weeks ago" I told him, he shook his head.
"no the know it all of the wwe universe, your my girlfriend, aj and I had that line with Daniel last year, and everyone knows your colbys ex" I laughed but didn't help but notice he said girlfriend, no on screen, just girlfriend, it made me smile.
I leaned into him "oh lets see how the fans can spin this, maybe we'll all be in some orgy together" I joke, Phil looked down at me scrunching his face "ew" was all he said making me laugh.
We walked to the little dinette down the street from the arena, I smiled at Phil across sitting across from me in a little both in the corner as we skimmed our menus, we both quickly ordered.
"so how was training with Jon?" he asked
"good, Colby showed up at the end" I told him looking down for a moment.
"yea, how'd that go?" he asked, I shrugged coloring the paper place mat with a crayon I had snagged from the front.
"it went, until I went to leave and informed Jon we were having lunch together" I told him, he nodded.
"its just odd you know?" I asked him, he leaned forward on his elbows waiting for me to go on, I sighed "just how quickly things just end you know, I was with him for four years, and now we act like complete strangers, I miss him, as a friend, which is also weird, I don't really miss Colby my boyfriend, I miss Colby my friend" I told him looking up at Phil who nodded.
"maybe cause you some how felt this coming, maybe not him cheating, but you two being done, he didn't really act much like a boyfriend to you" he told me softly, I bit my bottom lip thinking on what he just said.
"He did at first, at first he was amazing, but yea once he got sent to Tampa, he kinda faded from me, I always chalked it up to the distance, but it stayed that way once I got signed" I told him, the waitress choosing that moment to drop our salads off with us, we both thanked her as she lingered putting phils plate down.
"well she seemed smitten by you" I smirked taking a bite of my smile.
"its these devilish good looks" he smirked winking at me, making me laugh.
"oh dang and when I thought I had your eyes on me, there you go running off the waitress" I joked back.
He reached over taking my free hand making me look up and our eyes connected " there's only one women I have my eyes one and its defiantly not that waitress" he told me winking, I felt my face heat knowing I was blushing as I looked down at my salad, I heard Phil chuckle.
We finished our salads and Phil paid the bill with me protesting I could pay for mine, he just shot me a amused look tossing money on the table holding his hand out to me, I took it sliding out of the booth as we walked back to the arena, it was a little past four and the fall air was a little chilly, I rubbed my arm with my free hand "you cold?" Phil asked stopping, he unzipped his gray hoody and put it over my shoulders, I smiled slipping my arms in and as he reclaimed my hand.
I went to the women locker room to get ready, I sat on a bench looking through my gear, I decided on my yellow set and started changing, I pulled out my knee length converse and started lacing them up slipping phils hoody over me.
"you know it must be nice, the rest of us work our ass's off and here she walts in takers daughter, fucking Colby, and then starts fucking punk and bam main events" I heard summers voice, I closed my eyes breathing.
I heard laughing "lord girl put the claws back in" I heard Alicia voice, I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see aj standing next to me.
"don't let them get under your skin" she told me, I nodded and finished lacing my shoes as she pulled hers out.
"what you know its the truth girl, you know her and Jon lived together before she started with Colby? I'm amazed she hasn't tried to suck pauls dick" she laughed, that was pushing it, Paul was like an uncle to me, and Jon was my angel, I know not a word a lot of people would describe, but I would not allow the friendship he and I to be made out something wrong or dirty.
I slammed my hand down and stood up rounding the corner "hey wanna be barbie! If you have something to say to me, say it to my face, otherwise shut you cock sucker and back the fuck up" I snapped out making the whole room go quiet.
"oh shit" aj mumbled behind me.
"or what you'll call daddy?" summer snicker her eyes wondering me.
"no I'll take care of you myself, I don't need daddy to fight my battles, I earned my spot here, I didn't get it on my name, or who I know, or am currently fucking, I have done things in a ring that makes dean ambrose look like child play! Dont fuck with me I will tear you apart" I threated my eyes narrowing on her, who did she think she was? She was caught fucking my boyfriend and had been for months, and she had the gull to bad mouth me.
"whatever, you cant even keep your man satisfied that's why he came to me, a real women" she smirked.
At that point I had enough, I rushed over knocking her to the ground getting a couple of hits in, her screams hurting my ears as I felt people trying to pull us apart.
I felt arms tightly wrap around me and pull me off of her as she scrambled against the wall "aw I think she broke my nose fucking physco!" she yelled out, I tried to lunge for her again.
"hey hey mamas calm breath" I heard his voice in my ear as his grip tightened around me.
"im taking this to Paul! And Stephanie!" summer shrieked stomping her foot.
"oh please do, Stephanie loves home wrecking whores!" I yelled out as Colby dragged me out of the locker room.
I pushed away from shoving him back "this is all your fault!" I screamed at him making him stop "all I wanted all I've ever wanted was to wrestle, not because I was the undertakers daughter or I was your girlfriend or jons friend, but because I have earned it, because I am that damn good and deserve the spot I am, and ow because of you! All anyone can talk about is my personal life!" I yelled at him.
"didn't you know how much I love you! God dammit Colby Lopez" I screamed smacking the wall and walked away as tears fell from my eyes.
I revived a text from Stephanie to come see her immadtelly, I knew she probably heard about the fight, I sighed walking in that direction, I seen Jon jogging towards me "you OK?" he asked, I nodded.
"yea, she scratched my face" I told him moving my hair so he could see the scratches down the side of my face, he shook his head.
"damn kid" he mumbled, I nodded and shrugged.
"yea, I gotta go talk to steph now" I mumbled.
"good luck" he told me as I walked off, I nodded shoving my hands in phils hoody as I reached stephanies office, I felt nervous, I knocked and heard her yell come in, I seen summer sitting there was an ice pack on her face, Stephanie and Paul mentioned for me to sit next to summer, I crossed my arms leaning against the wall.
"OK ladies, I understand a lot of tension between you two, but Sam, you cannot go around attacking people" Stephanie started, I scoffed.
"i think her comments, it was well deserved to attack her" I said, Stephanie looked at me confused, I nodded "ah she came in here playing the victim, amazing" I went into explanation "i was trying to ignore her Stephanie, but the last comments got to me, people don't know my story, just assume im takers kid and that's why im here, I've been in death matches, I've gone through double pain windows, I've been dragged around the ring by a dog collar and a leash, I was homeless living in the coliseum after the guys left, Jon took me in! And I wont have any degrade that friendship, no matter the cost"
Stephanie nodded "well then, that changes things, summer you egged this on and then you came in here and lied to myself and my husband, now yes Samantha grow up in this business but she would not have the spot she has if she didn't deserve it, and as for your comment regarding my husband" Stephanie straightened herself out off of her desk and towered over a cowering summer "you ever degrading speak of any member of my family again, you will find yourself unemployed, do I make myself clear, ?" she asked, summer just nodded "good and seeing as you have such tension with Samantha here, and im sure she does you by the look of your face, I'll give you tonight off, but next Monday, its you vs Samantha" Stephanie said.
I smirked crossing my arms watching summers face turn a ghostly white, Stephanie pointed to the door "now get out" she said in that McMahon voice, I nodded to her as she walked by not saying a word.
Paul shook his head "well your making friends" he said, I shook my head.
" I am so sorry, I really tried to control my self, she just got under my skin" I told them.
Stephanie sighed nodding "i can imagine, Sam this is your get out of jail free card, anything like this comes again, im going to have to fine you" she told me, I nodded.
" ikn ow thank you guys" I said looking down.
"hey I would've done the same" Stephanie said, I nodded as tears burnt my eyes, I've known these guys since I was a little girl, I shook my head "im sorry" I choked out, I hadn't really cried since I went to move out of colbys.
I felt big arms wrap around me Paul sat me down "im sorry" I said as it all seemed to just hit me.
"its OK, here" Stephanie said handing me some water and a tissue, I sighed taking them "just when she throw that in my face, I wanted to kill her, but she was right" I mumbled looking down, Stephanie shook her head looking at me "no, you are a amazing women, he is not man enough to keep you! Not the other way, a true man would've communicated his issues with you, not turned to someone else, you did nothing to deserve this and do not allow that trash to make you think otherwise" Stephanie said.
"why her? Why someone I have to work with daily?" I asked, Stephanie just shrugged.
"ugh im a mess" I sighed wiping my eyes.
"well good thing I have my make up, here lets go get you fixed p" she said taking me by my hand, I noticed Paul just sat quietly next to me rubbing my back, I turned to him and smiled leaning down hugging him, he hugged me back "i got you monkey" he said my child hood nick name, I smiled nodding "thank you" I told him as Stephanie and I went to do my hair and make up.
Paul looked up when we exited the bathroom, he smiled looking at me "wow monkey you sure grown up" he commented, Stephanie just touched up my make up, but she curled my hair to were it covered the scratched on my cheek.
"thank you" I told Stephanie hugging her as I headed out, I seen Jon leaning against the wall his foot propped up.
"Jesus! I thought they were killing you how long it was taking!" he said over dramatically
I laughed "you couldve texted me" I said and frowned my phone was in my pockets, Jon held it in front of my face.
"it fell out during your rocky moment, aj brought it to me" he said smirking, I laughed taking it as he walked me to the gorilla "OK I gotta go" he said hugging me as I reached Phil and Daniel
I nodded walking to Phil "wow you look" he stopped as I took off his hoody handing it to him "wow" was all he could say, I smiled looking down.
"thank you" I told him, I nodded to Daniel
"hey you OK?" he asked, I nodded as Phil looked at me confused.
"issue in the women locker room" I told him.
"from the way brie tells it, sounded like a bar room brawl" Daniel spoke, I glared at him as Phil looked at me.
"summer was running her mouth, I couldn't take it, we had a small fight, now we have a match next week" I shrugged, Phil shook his head as Daniels music hit "see you guys out there" he said and headed out to the yes chants.
"you OK?" Phil asked running his hand down my side, I nodded as phils music hit and we headed out.
The shield with aj was already in the ring, she defiantly looked like she belonged in the shield as she sat on the middle rope.
I stood on the apron watching the match aj and I both itching to get in the ring together, she tagged herself against Colby which meant I got to get in, I smirked climbing in the ring as we stood face to face eying each other, the guys on the apron watching on.
I nodded hearing the fans break out in a holy shit chant, as aj and I locked up, I backed her into the corner getting a wrist lock on her, it went pretty back and fourth until Jon tripped e up causing all hell to break lose.
I caught a kick to the stomach from aj causing me to fall to the ground aj went to cover me and I kicked out giving her an elbow to the side of her head as she rolled over, I felt my hair being pulled up and looked into colbys eyes, he winked at me letting me know this what we had talked about earlier, I brought my leg up kicking him in his balls causing him to bend over, I looked around the ring, Phil was on the right side fighting with Jon, while Daniel was on the left side fighting with Joe, and aj was curled in the corner, I ran to the rope and to Colby and BAM curb stomp to the back of his head.
"THIS IS AWESOME" came from the fans as I walked over to aj, I pulled her up by her hair and did a DDT on her, covering her 1...2...3, I heard the bell ring, as I went to stand up I felt a strong pain in my stomach making me double over.
"and you winner by pin falls, SAMANTHA, CM PUNK, and DANIEL BRYAN" Lillian voice rang, but I just felt sick with pain, Phil came rushing to me "Sam you OK? Sam" he asked as I curled in a ball.
"holy shit, dude get my jacket, WE NEED A MEDIC" Phil yelled as he covered up my lower half.
"Sam" I heard jons voice, he was breaking character as I cradled myself "it hurts" I moaned.
I heard whispering "dude keep that on" Phil said "i get, shes bleeding! Just wait until she gets to the damn back!" he snapped as they lifted me on a stretcher.
I felt myself being wheeled back "sir you cant go with" I heard.
"im her uncle" I heard glens voice
"you can go with" they told him
"id like to see you stop me anyways" he said as I groaned in pain.
"ow whats happening" I cried taking my uncles hand as they took phils hoody off my legs "i don't know" he said worry written all over his face as he held my hand running his thumb across the top.
