Okay Guys, they're back home! What's going to happen now they're back in Manhattan? OMGG that rhymed I'm just too clever!

This chapter was inspired by "This = Love" by The Script again, I feel really bad now that I've used their songs three times but I'm running out of songs.

I don't own the hunger games.

Clove POV

I finally step out of the elevator into my penthouse apartment expecting a prompt Laini to come and take my bags to my room but the figure that turns the corner is not short and plump like my loving maid but tall and slender.

"Hi, mum!" I cry as I rush into her arms wrapping my arms around her. Breathing in her scent I'm hit with a very strong odor of Chanel No. 5, her signature scent.

"Hello honey." she says smoothly and I can tell that over my shoulder she is smiling. We break apart and she turns to sit on the sleek flat beige leather couch whilst I hop into my hanging sphere seat next to the sofa.

"So, tell me all about Europe, did they love your new range? How was England? Were they nice?" I ask giddily hugging my plush purple pillow to my chest.

"Wow honey so many questions, whats gotten into you? Well, Europe was amazing, I spent one evening dining at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I did go on the London Eye and the trip took half the day, I was stuck on that moving death trap for an hour, and the boats going up and down the canal in Venice were adorable." she tells me. I love hearing about her travels, it's so inspiring hearing about all the places she gets to visit, people she gets to meet.

I spend the rest of the weekend talking with my mother all about her trip, she shows me pictures of everywhere she went and we put them up on the wall in her office where she displays them in a collage. She tells me of plans she has for opening her own store instead of having the clothing sold in big department stores, she wants me to help her. I

ignore the rest of the world as long as I can snuggling up to my mother so much I think I smell of Chanel No. 5 as well.

I wake up on Monday morning to Laini feeling alert and refreshed, excited for the coming day, that is until I hear her say the word school. I immediately moan and snuggle back into bed.

"Come on Miss Clove you can't hide under duvet forever, I've already hung up your uniform and all books are on your desk." she informs me as she strips me of my duvet cover.

"Fine, fine.", I huff as I get up, shower then put on my Uniform.

Then as I'm sat at my desk applying the finishing touches to my peachy blush I hear a shout from downstairs, "Clove, I'm here, get down here NOW!" Eliza, obviously.

"My, my, Miss Eliza seems to be very loud lately." Laini comments.

"Nah, she's always like that." I say as I depart. As I walk down my stairs I see Eliza chatting with my mother.

"Hey Clove, I didn't know your mum was home!" Eliza says in her usual perky voice.

"Erm, yeah, I only found out on friday and we've been catching up since then." I tell her.

"Well you girls better get going." my mother says as she kisses me on the forehead, "See you after school sweetie."

"Bye, Mrs Kentwell." Eliza calls in her I'm around adults so lets act innocent voice, then as the elevator doors ping shut she turns into the Eliza that I know and slightly love.

"Okay so, give me all the details in this juicy love triangle, will it be Evan or Cato?" she questions and for the rest of the walk to school I tell her about Evan and how he's so honest and kind and how Cato is the exact opposite and how I feel about it and all that rubbish.

When we get to our lockers the bell rings, we hug as she departs to History and I turn to art. Me and Johanna immediately set to work on our mini sculpture of an eye ball for our Pop Art project.

"You know," she says whilst pouring another gloop of PVA glue into the container then smothering some newspaper into it as she wraps another layer on our paper mache eyeball, "Evan isn't all that bad, I mean, his accent is gorgeous."

I look up from painting a piece of string red for one of the veins and question, "How do you know about Evan?" I ask.

She doesn't answer though as Katniss walks up to us."And you guys are making, a big goopy mess." she chuckles but me and Eliza just stare at her.

"Yeesh, sorry but it really is nothing compared to mine and Peetas." she says pointing over to a very intricately sculpted mini, big, Bow structure and a grinning Peeta.

Johanna whacks the goop ball onto the table groaning as Katniss carries on, "Anyway I didn't come here to brag I actually came to ask about a possible new love interest Clove, I believe he goes by the name of Evan Parish?" she grins mischievously.

"Seriously, how did you find out as well?" I question.

Both her and Johanna reply, "Eliza."

"Of course it was." I reply rolling my eyes.

"Well, I'll let you get back to that thing and I'll go finish my structure." she says spinning round back to Peeta.

"It's an eyeball!" me and Johanna both shout.

The goop doesn't look too bad after the end of the lesson. We'll laugh in her face when we get higher than her, as if!

Scholar Studies now, great. Miss Trinket walks in, prompt as usual in a very confusing light pink wig with a rose and a hot pink suit with a skirt. Some of that lady's fashion choices, I think as she starts speaking in that whacked accent.

"Now, I know you've all heard that you'll be studying Romeo and Juliet in English, am I correct?" she asks as a bunch of vague nods is her only reply.

"Great," she continues, "now this activity will require you to be in partners again and I will hand you all a part of the play that you will then read to each other, practicing at first but then you'll all show the class at the end, everybody understand? Good now pair up and wait for my instruction." she says and I turn to find Cato.

He spots me and starts to walk over but a dark haired, brown eyed boy steps in his way. "Hey Clove." he says.

"Oh, Evan," I start, "I didn't know that you were in this class."

"Well I told you I was in one of your classes didn't I." he smiles.

"Yeah, I just didn't expect it to be this one." I say, flustered.

"Well, can I work with you?" he asks. I hesitate, but then I look into those beautiful eyes and think, how could I say no to him.

"Yeah, of course." I finally say and his face cracks into a wide grin.

"Now, your scene is their first meeting." she says handing us our scripts.

I turn to Evan, "So let's go from the top huh?" I ask.

"Sounds good." he smiles and starts reciting the script and in that instant he isn't the kind, honest Evan I have known but a different boy, one that the script truly describes. I, too, have transformed, lifting the words of the page. Two beings, completely different to ourselves, exchanging words and stealing glances at the other but at the same time we are still ourselves, teasing and glancing underneath the lines.

"Wow." he breaths when we're finished.

"That was . . . Intense." I say.

"Yeah." he chuckles. We rehearse a few more times until we feel confident without the script and feel that we're done.

"I think we've done everything we can." he says.

"Yeah, you're an amazing actor." I tell him.

"You're not so bad yourself." He teases and I laugh.

"So what do you want to talk about?" I ask.

"Well, I did all the talking last time so, it's your turn. Tell me about yourself Clove Kentwell." he smiles, and I do, I tell him about my mother, her job, how I have Laini since my dad left and how I met Eliza. I tell him all of this until he starts gazing around the room.

"I'm sorry, am I boring you?" I ask him.

"Oh no of course not, but erm, okay here I go, well Thresh is throwing a sort of Welcome Back Home part and I was just wandering if maybe, you'd want to go? With me?" He stammers a warm blush flowing through his cheeks.

"Yeah I'd love to." I reply as Miss Trinket calls for silence.

"Now, I'd like you all to grab a chair and sit facing the stage please, we're going to start performances." she says excitedly. So me and Evan pull up two seats and sit on the from row.

"Perfect, now who'd like to go first?" She asks scanning the room.

"Oooh yes how about you Cato." she says as he walks up with some girl I don't really know.

So then Cato says, "Hey everybody I'm Cato, this is Cecelia and we will be reciting the tomb scene." he states confidently as she smiles and goes to lie on the table.

He is immediately in character with a voice so pained, you'd think he lost someone that close himself. It takes me a moment to realize that instead of staring at "Juliet's" dead body but his eyes are focused on me with the same pained expression that taints his words.

He finishes and dies and I tune out, that is until the girls dead body slumps to the ground and claps erupt from the room.

"That was truly great you two great work, any volunteers to go next?" Miss Trinket asks and my hand shoots up, I don't really know why, probably to make him jealous but Miss picks me and we walk up.

"Hi I'm Clove this is Evan and we are going to recite Romeo and Juliet's first meeting." I say and with that we begin. But our words, our characters, our roles now feel pathetic and shallow compared to Cato's deep compassion and hurt in his role.

We finish and I just feel stupid, stupid for not realizing earlier, I don't want Evan, I want Cato.

So who knew Shakespeare could bring up so many emotions huh. Seems like this story isn't going to be one of his Comedies but a Tragedy. Let me know what you think, how is she going to say no to Evan now?

Thank y'all sooo rootin rootin barn hoorin much:
