(Threa)
"Out of the frying pan," my father whispered, as he started to back up pulling me with him.
"And into the fryer," Gandalf finished. "Run! RUN!" And we ran, I believe even faster than when we were running from the Goblins. I heard the wrags howls grow louder as the were nearing us.
"Argh," I looked behind me to see Bilbo ran his sword threw a wrags head. Good for him.
"Up into the tree's Gandalf ordered and we all complied. I was the last one up my tree, as my father pulled me up beside him.
"Bilbo," Fili yelled, i looked back again to see Bilbo still struggling to get his sword out of the wrags head. Shit... He's gonna die if someone doesn't do something. I looked at my father but he stayed still... No one dared leave there tree, and he's to suborn to just leave the damn sword.
"Forgive me Legolas," I whispered, my father must have heard as he gave me a confused look, I gave him back a cocky grin and jumped out of the tree running towards Bilbo.
"Threa," my father yelled triying to jump after me, but Balin held his King back.
"Threa," Bilbo scorned as I got to him and he tired to push me away. "Get out of here! Get up in the tree's!"
"I'm not leaving you," I said and started to help him in pulling the sword.
"Don't be stupid!"
"It's not stupid to help your friends! NOW PULL!" I yelled as the sword dislodged from the tree and the wrags were mere feet from us. "Go GO!" I yelled as we scurried up a tree, just barely missing the wrags teeth. I grabbed Bilbo's hand and he blushed, this man is hopeless... I levered him up further into the tree as the wrags started ramming into it, and you could hear cracking... Our tree was going down. "Durin save us!"
"Threa jump," Kili yelled a tree over.
"What! Are you crazy!"
"You need to jump!" Our tree started to fall forwards towards Kili's. I grabbed onto Bilbo and pushed him onto the next trees nearest branch, him barely being able to hold on. "Threa Jump NOW!" And I did as told as the tree quickly swung down and I jumped to Kili as he caught me and our new tree started to shake. "There gonna bring us all down," Kili said as we repeated the jump until we were on the last tree on the cliff over looking a vast extension of land.
We were surrounded... And to be honest with our position right now... I can see him, his pale white skin, crooked yellow teeth, and cold dark eyes... My nightmare became real. And he is going to kill us. And I am scared.
"Kili," Gandalf yelled from the top of the tree as he threw down a flaming acorn, and Kili threw it at a wrag driving it away. He did it again as we all caught on to what he was doing as we started to do the same all proceeding to throw them down until all the wrags were back with there master. The area was now surrounded in flames... He lost, with no way to get to us. Azog yelled in aggravation, as we laughed in triumph! As happy as I am that my nightmare cannot get to me something still didn't feel right. Our tree cracked and we fell back a bit.
"Well Shit!" I cursed as our tree swung backwards. I threw my arms around a branch and hung on as we crashed to the ground now dangling off the side of the cliff. "Shit." I tried to lift myself up and my grip started to give as my breathing got heavier. "Shit," I said again in defeat; really this is how it's gonna end... With me falling to my death.
"Threa," Kili yelled as my grip failed. I closed my eyes and saw the ocean, and I fell.
Something grabbed onto my broken wrist and yanked on it hard making me cry in pain as it hardened its grip around my wrist. I opened my eyes to see Bilbo struggling to hold onto a branch and me.
"Are you stupid!"
"You do stupid things to help your friends," he said and then grunted. "Plus you have a promise to keep! Who else will keep me safe?" That beautiful hobbit! I smiled a thank you to him. We were now dangling ... And most likely gonna die.
The tree started to shake as I caught a glimpse of my father as he made his way to the top now standing and facing down the pale orc.
"Papa," I whispered as he ran at Azog and was thrown to the ground by his pale white wrag. I can't let him die i will not just sit here he needs help! This Company needs him! I need him! "Bilbo Pull me up!"
"And let you run to your death!" He protested. "No not happening," he said as our branch started to crack.
"If you do not we will die! Now heave me up!" He shook his head no. "Biblo please," I pleaded, as he looked down at me and gave me a look of pain.
"Threa," He pleaded with me not to. I shook my head as he grunted in pain as he heaved me up as I slowly climbed atop the broken tree. The area around us look like it was out of a myth... The cliff side was engulfed in flames as my Nightmare was standing in the middle about to kill my father.
"Threa," the company all yelled as I looked back and gave them my cocky grin. If I'm gonna die it's gonna mean something. I pulled out Legolas' blade and ran at the Orc about to cut my fathers head off cutting his throat killing him instantly. Turning to the Pale Orc as he laughed.
"What is this," he asked another Orc. "A mouse that's come out to play?
"Threa," My father said barely audible. "Run!"
"No," I said back as three Orcs on Wrags surrounded us. The one behind me ran at us first. I knocked him off his wrag and killed him only to be knocked with the blunt of anothers sword throwing me to the ground next to my father.
"Threa," he groaned as I tried to get back up but got knocked down harder... There was no point... Im stuck. I grabbed his hand, as he turned his face to me and smiled. "I could not wish any better person to die by my side."
"Papa," I whispered and started crying. I am scared I'll never see my father again, run threw the blue mountains with Fili and Kili... Never get to tell Legolas I love him and hold him in my arms again... My father closed his eye's. "Papa stay awake," I shook him but he didn't move. "Papa," I tried to move closer to him but something yanked me by my hair up in the air. I yelled in pain as I was now looking into the eye's of my nightmare he held me by my hair putting his face so close to mine.
"Papa," he mocked. and then looked closer at me. "I know you... You were the little mouse to be my prize all those years ago." I started to struggle harder against him definitely bruising myself in the process. "If only those fools were smarter... Outwitted by a filthy halfling!" I spit in his face.
"YOU KNOW NOTHING OF THAT DAY!"
"I Know you were saved by an elf!"
"And you were too much of a coward to take your prize when your enemy came into ear shot!" He sneered at me.
"And you can rest assured i will not make that mistake again. What do you say boy's wanna play with a mouse!" I spit at his face again. He threw me against a nearby boulder, with my head slamming against it. My vision blurred as I touched the back of my head as it throbbed in pain. I looked back at my hand and there was blood. Shit! I looked back up to Azog who was wiping my spit of his face with his fingers and put in his mouth. "Mhmm... What a sweet taste."
"You're vile," I snapped as he started slowly towards me drawing his weapon. He was done playing games... He is going to kill me. A few of the other dwarves were now up fighting, but none close enough to save me. I guess you were right Legolas I do throw myself into danger too much. His weapon got knocked out of his hand by a small sword. "Bilbo," I yelled as he was then thrown down next to me and Azog picked up his blade. And came at us again.
"It has been a pleasure Miss. Threa," he said as i was crying again. He took my hand and I tried to smile at him. We both closed our eye's waiting for the finale blow. I saw Legolas' ocean blue eye's at least I'll die happy...
An Orc screeched in horror and pain, My eye's shot open as I saw giant eagles fighting off the orcs.. I looked over to Bilbo who looked shocked as i was.
"Oh dear God," Bilbo said grabbing my hand as we started to run from an eagle coming for us. It picked us up and dropped us off the side of the cliff. We were screaming as we were saved by another eagle landing on it's back. Now flying through the skies away from the burning cliff... away from my nightmare.
"Thorin," Fili yelled, I scrambled to the edge of the eagle s back to get a better look at my father. He wasn't moving almost limp atop the eagles back.
"No," the eagle laid him atop a large peak. As soon as I was on the ground i ran to him "No...No,no no... Papa please... Papa you need to wake up!" Gandalf came to my side, and he placed his hand to my fathers temple, as started to whisper an enchantment. He pulled away, as we all waited for my father to respond in some way. It was like torture mere seconds feeling like hours.
His eye's fluttered open as i wrapped my arms around him making a cry of joy.
"Threa," he whispered holding me close to him. "are you?"
"I'm alright," I lied he doesn't need to worry it's just a little head wound. I'll be fine. He held me tighter then pulled back.
"The half-ling," he asked regarding Bilbo.
"He's alright," Gandalf responded."Bilbo is here... He's quite safe."" My father started to stand as we all helped him up.
"You," he yelled. "What were you doing? You nearly got yourself killed! Threa KILLED! Did I not say that you would be a burden? That you would not survive in the world? That you had no place among us!"
"Father!"
"I have never been so wrong in my life," he hugged Biblo. I looked passed everyone celebrating to see a large mountain in the distance. "I am so sorry I ever doubted you... You saved her when I could not... Thank you!"
"No i would have doubted me too," Bilbo mused. "I'm not a hero or a burglar." They all laughed as we all knew how true it was.
"Is that what I think it is," I asked as they all joined me in the scenery walking closer to the edge to look at the onlooking mountain.
"Erebor," said Gandalf. "The Lonely Mountain... The last of the great Dwarf kingdoms of Middle Earth."
"Our home," my father said and touched my shoulder. As a bird went towards the mountain.
"A raven," Oin yelled. "The birds are returning to the mountain!"
"That, my dear Oin is a Thrush," Gandalf corrected.
"But we'll take it as a sign," my father said and looked back at me. "A good Omen."
"You're right," I said back. "I do believe the worst is behind us."
