Chapter 10

The trio stood there in silence. Fliqpy stood there, blade still in hand and staring intently at the fox-spirit, Deidara appeared to look relaxed but a closer look at his shoulders would say otherwise. Kuroashi on the other hand was shaking like a leaf from being around the two.

"DEIDARA WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" Kitsune exclaimed, amber eyes not leaving the form of Fliqpy.

"It's… a long story, hm. But First off I need to know what happened while I was out of commission, hm." Deidara answered smoothly while Fliqpy scoffed with a dark glare at the fox spirit. Hearing this Deidara glanced over to the soldier. "Unfortunately the fox is an ally of ours currently, hm. You don't have to like it, but avoid killing her for a while, un."

"Tch, the moment she's useless then I'm going to make some fox stew," Fliqpy growled, causing every fur on Kuroashi to stand up straight.

"Go ahead hm. But only when her use is up, un," Deidara said, his calm disposition only given away by his stiffened composure.

Why does everyone want to kill me today?! the Kitsune thought with tears pricking the corners of her eyes. While the fox was going through this her sensitive ears picked up the sound of someone running towards them… from two different directions.

"Kuroashi?" Nepeta's voice questioned coming in.

"Oh hey You're still alive," The voice of Lifty started.

"That's a surprise," The voice of Shifty ended. Kuroashi and Deidara both stiffened at these voices, Kuro because she knows these guys and doesn't really want to see them die by Fliqpy… but also because Deidara never met them. Deidara on the other hand knew Fliqpy would see these strangers coming in as free game and he wouldn't be able to do shit about it… nor did he even really feel the compelling need to do shit about it either as he didn't even know the people. Fliqpy on the other hand… recognized the last two voices and grinned evilly. Before Fliqpy could move however the sudden sound of static came about and Ulquiorra was already in front of the psycho soldier, and startled the others while earning a low growl from Fliqpy.

"You again…" Fliqpy growled as he got ready to nearly lunge at the stoic spirit.

"Fliqpy no, he's on our side, hm," Deidara spoke up minor flashbacks to the last time the two fought sparking in his head and the urgent need to make sure it NEVER happens again flaring to life as he did. Fliqpy stopped for a moment and scowled.

"Positive?"

"Hundred percent, hm…"

Watching this Kuroashi, Lifty and Shifty were all in complete stunned silence while Nepeta was confused and Ulquiorra was evaluating the situation.

"The other's are free game then, correct?" Fliqpy asked, smirking a little when he glanced at the twins, who in turn flinched and held onto each other for a moment.

"They are also allies…" Ulquiorra spoke up calmly, because seriously when ISN'T he doing that? Fliqpy however snarled at the Espada, his unnaturally sharpened teeth making the gesture more menacing.

"I wasn't asking you."

"Deidara was unconscious when the allies were gained, he wouldn't have known anyways," Ulquiorra explained, while Deidara took this time to glance at the ones he didn't know about…. till he and everyone else heard Envy's voice.

"Hey, is a party going on over here or what?"

"What about that one?" Fliqpy asked.

"That's Envy, hm…. kill him all you want he literally can't die, hm," Deidara said bluntly while staring at the sin, who froze for a bit when he heard the two talk.

"WHAT THE FUCK BLONDIE?!" Envy shouted as Fliqpy grinned sadistically while the twins stepped off to the side and gave Envy pitying looks.

A good hour and a half later, they got Fliqpy to revert back to Flippy (who was much more preferred anyways), Envy was pissed off at everyone, Cheshire was happy to have Flippy back to normal, a few introductions were made and everyone was now far from the hospital and looking for where the Fallen Angel and the annoying Shinigami were hold up.

"Remind me why are we looking for the Silver haired guy, hm?"

"Well he said he'd give out Free information," Shifty started.

"And who doesn't want Free shit?" Lifty ended, both twins grinning.

"More specifically Ichimaru mentioned that he knew what worlds we would be going to next," Ulquiorra stated, his blank expression making a barely noticeable frown when mentioning the Ex-Shinigami captain.

"Which is going to be beyond useful," Greed started before Ling popped out with a large grin. "Especially if he mentions what kinds of foods there'll be!"

"W-What if it's a bad world?" Flippy questioned, still slightly confused on just WHAT happened a while ago.

"Who caaaaaaaares! If it's bad, then deal with it," Vriska huffed, her hood up once again, but if one saw her face they would see the slightly annoyed look on her face at having been denied a challenge.

"Purr-sonally I hope it's going to be fun!"

"Mew!" Cheshire meowed from his position of being held by the Veteran.

"I hope that he's not going to drag me off back home again…" Kuro sighed, the smallest sparks of electricity making themselves known on her at the thought of what she would do if he attempted to take her back again.

Meanwhile behind the group Envy was muttering angrily to himself, which Ed and Flippy both quickly noticed. Ed however rolled his eyes a little while he continued following the group but Flippy stuck back with Cheshire still in his arms and staying back with the agitated sin.

"You okay?" Flippy asked, only to earn a sarcastic looking glare.

"Noo, I'm all peaches and fucking sunshine," Envy growled with crossed arms.

"Do… do you want to talk about it?" Flippy asked, earning a look of surprise from the cat in his arms. Envy however glanced at the green haired veteran.

"And waste my breath on you? I'll pass."

"Oh… w-well that's fine then," Flippy sighed averting his gaze away from Envy with a slightly disappointed look. "B-But if you ever want to talk I'll listen."

"I said I'm fine. I don't need help from a HUMAN of all things," Envy heard the hiss from Cheshire in Flippy's arms. "I also don't need an added two cents from a fleabitten rat."

"Envy…" Flippy started but was cut off with a glare from the sin and a low growl from Cheshire that was directed at the agitated sin. The veteran's shoulders slumped a little as he looked away. "J-just… just remember I'm… I'm willing to listen."

"Fuck off," Envy snapped and started marching forward away from the green haired man, who had stopped in his tracks when Envy had said those final words to him. Cheshire's ear twitched as he glanced up to see the hurt expression on Flippy's face and how tired his eyes looked.

"Mew?"

"I-It's nothing Cheshire… It's…" Flippy started as he tried to pull up a smile, only for it to falter and break down. "It's just… these people… they're starting to get to me you know…"

"Meow?"

"I-I'm just… trying my best to pull this group together… so we can function as a good unit you know? But… even after everything we've all been through there's still too many barriers between everyone… Ed and Ling are at least getting along somewhat… Deidara seems to be making a little progress with Ed but not much… Ulquiorra's just… a steel wall, Envy's clearly bottling too much up inside and Greed isn't really helping much with it... Maybe… Maybe I should just give up…"

After his explanation, the veteran felt a small furry head rub against his chin in a comforting way as the black cat began to purr as if to say "Don't worry, it'll get better soon." Flippy couldn't help but smile down at the cat.

"Thanks Cheshire. You're a good kitty."

While Flippy was talking to the cat, the twins had been keeping a good eye on the veteran and his entire conversation with the sin. Sharing a look between each other they nodded and split up, Shifty going over to where Envy was and Lifty going over to Flippy.

With Envy the older twin waltzed right up and slung his arm across Envy's shoulders with a lazy grin.

"Hey buddy got a minute?"

"Piss off."

"Cute but no," Shifty stated, earning him an irritated growl from Envy but ignored it.

"Look, my bro and I saw how you blew up at Flips right."

"Then you would know-"

"Ah, no I wasn't finished. See you really shouldn't push away any good opportunity that comes your way."

"How the fuck is talking to the guy who literally murdered an entire hospital and took at LEAST thirty souls of mine a good opportunity?!"

"Because he's probably the only one out of all ya that's willing to put up with whatever bull shit you got," Shifty stated. "Look he's from the same world as me and the guy's psychotic when his alternate personality is out, but when he's not like that bastard version, he is literally one of the best guys to go and talk to about problems. Hell everyone where we're from is fucked up one way or another. Whatever problems you got, we've more than likely had worse."

"Yeah, yeah I know, Greeny told us about your world already and you know what? You can go fuck off as well, I don't want to deal with your pathetic-"

"Look here palm head, this moody attitude of yours is really getting on my nerves by this point. I'm trying to help you out in the long run, hell even Flippy is and yet you keep denying all the help you could be getting. Bottling it all up WON'T help at all. Because if you keep this up, and even attempt to lift one finger to try and kill me, my brother over there will set Fliqpy loose with a nice little handgun we borrowed from your blond friend's bag. And we all know that you're the only one on the list whose not on the do not kill list," Shifty growled as he jabbed his thumb back to where said brother was along with the mentioned veteran.

Following the line of vision the younger, hatless twin seemed to notice the situation going down and with a lazy smirk (while Flippy wasn't paying attention as he went off on talking about something) held up the handgun to show that the older brother wasn't kidding at all. Envy sneered and gave a low growl to the older twin who was smirking a little and adjusting his hat just the slightest bit.

"Why the fuck do you suddenly care about a guy you were terrified of a few hours ago?"

"Let's just say one of the sayings we Happy Tree folk have about outsiders, is that when an outsider is a dick to a town member, Hell hath no fury compared to Karma's retribution."

"Really?"

"Oh you'd be surprised really. Last time barely half a second after a bomb blew up and not only took half the block out, but it killed the guy as well," Shifty answered as he looked off into the distance with a thoughtful expression. "Or… was that the fifth time and the one time the person got turned into a can of cat food the last time…. Bah whatever the point is Karma is a real bitch and if you keep being a complete and total dick Karma might just turn you into their bitch."

"Well in case you haven't noticed we're not in your world so it won't happen!"

Oh boy is Envy going to regret saying that soon.

Meanwhile while Shifty was talking to Envy, Lifty was attempting to make some friendly conversation with Flippy.

"Yo Flips, did the tree beat you down?" … Well I did say attempt.

"O-Oh Hi Lifty… you… you heard all that?"

"Heard it? Dude everyone in a twelve foot radius could hear AND feel it. Look don't let that dick keep you down alright."

Flippy couldn't even make eye contact with his green haired companion.

"Seriously though, don't. That guy isn't worth it if he's not going to accept help from you," Lifty said while placing a comforting hand on Flippy's shoulder. This caused Flippy to glance up to the younger twin.

"You're a great guy. You're optimistic, you care a whole lot, you always believe in people even when they should be hopeless cases and you'd rather think of other people's needs before your own. Sure you have a psychotic alter ego but hey, no one's perfect. Hell if they were I'd have to kick them in their god damned face and tell them to grow a pair and join the rest of us in these fucked up worlds."

Flippy chuckled a little bit at this, and Lifty grinned.

"If someone was perfect there would have to be something wrong with the world," Flippy laughed, joining in with Lifty as he smiled. Cheshire purred at the event unfolding.

"Yeah the world would be boring and nothing would be wrong."

"TV probably wouldn't exist, books would be only informational, everyone would act the same and have the same of almost everything."

"No pet's would probably exist, Hell I doubt there would even be anything of value that anyone would want to steal," Lifty laughed and noticed his brother pointing him out to Envy and took that as his cue to show the gun he snuck off Deidara since Flippy was distracted.

"There would also be no violence or Death, unless it was already set for them…" Flippy paused before snorting a little as he thought of something. "Or if they broke a law they'd toss them into a pit full of pillows on fire."

"Jesus Christ that sounds so stupid! How'd ya come up with that?" Lifty laughed as he pictured someone being tossed into the mentioned pit.

"I don't know, but you have to admit it's funny!"

"Oh, OH! And they call it the 'Pit of Hell' and they kick people in like that one movie 2000 or something!"

The two started to throw in more ridiculous ideas as they left, the tension that was brought about from Envy long since forgotten.

"AH glad ya guys could join us," Gin smiled as Hanzo stared blankly at his computer screen and snacked on some sushi from the restaurant next to the silver haired Shinigami.

"Yeah, yeah so what's with the freebies?" Vriska asked leaning forward on a table with her hood back up on her head once again.

"Ah, no 'Nice ta see ya again Gin' or even a mild bit of interest in how my day was going? I'm hurt," Gin smirked as he looked down and held a hand over his chest.

"Get on with it Ichimaru." Ulquiorra stated with a death stare.

"No need ta be so serious Ulqui-kun~"

Gin if you're going to spoil something STOP AVOIDING IT BY THIS POINT JESUS CHRIST IT'S BEEN LIKE A YEAR!

"Fine, fine. Anyways spoiler warning ta ya'll."

A good chunk of the group had stared at Gin, wondering what caused him to get straight to the point.

"Vriska yer team should be on yer toes in the next world…. Magic and monsters reside on every corner~" Gin chuckled a little at the disappointed look on Vriska's face.

"So you mean to say…." Lifty started.

"We're going to a fantasy world?" Shifty finished with arms crossed.

"Yup~ Can't give too much details or else my friend will be pissed."

I'm not your friend Gin…

"You have friends?" Hanzo asked, glancing up from his laptop.

BURN GIN!

"Yup, though she's Tsundere about it~!"

Shut up Gin.

"Anyways~! Deidara your group… Oh boy this will be a fun one for you~" an evil grin crossed his features as he looked at Envy in particular... not that anyone could really tell thanks to his closed eyes.

"Karma's a real bitch in this world~" Soon after saying that he seemed to just vanish from his spot… in reality he just went back to his pocket dimension where he's going to stay till the Omake.

"What do ya think the world's gonna be like, aside from Karma being a bitch?" Kuro asked… wait a moment…. Oh shit with Kitsune still there…. GOD DAMN IT GIN!

"I don't know about your world but IIIIIIII say we go check ours out now," Vriska grinned as she turned to address her own team. "Lifty, or Shifty whoever has it, open up and let's go check the next world out!"

"I thought Lucifur had it last," Nepeta pipped up with a tilt of her head.

"Nepeta's right," Shifty started.

"We don't have it," Lifty ended. The group then turned their gaze to the fallen angel, who sighed and with a snap the orb came out of a purple magic circle that had appeared just above his waiting hand.

"Here, I don't remember the code anyways…" Hanzo sighed as he packed up his laptop and charger while handing the orb off to Vriska. The Cerulean blooded troll grinned before punching in the sequence… opening up a nice looking portal that the group filed into easily, leaving the main team behind with some slack jawed expressions at how easy the smaller group seemed to have it with their mode of transportation.

"Someone tell me I'm not the only one who finds that shit unfair!" Envy exclaimed in agitation.

"... I don't want to give you the satisfaction, hm…" Deidara muttered, his left eye twitching a little bit at the prospect of their group having a terrible transport system compared to the other teams.

After the other group left and before the team decides to leave the world Deidara told the group to go to the clothes store. Kuroashi grew excited at this prospect while the others (Mainly Greed/Ling, Cheshire, Ulquiorra (no surprise there) and Ed… Flippy was actually kinda excited as well) were kinda indifferent… and Envy was staring at the blond and fox spirits like they were stupid.

"For one thing Envy, a lot of worlds seem to have similar fashion tastes that SOME of us stick out too much with, hm." A glance to Ulquiorra, Flippy and a solid stare at Envy were all given when the some part was mentioned.

"Well, the rips and tears probably don't help," Ling mentioned, glancing down at his own clothing that had some patch jobs done where a few big holes once were.

"Besides not everyone can form their own clothes Envy," Kuro stated, internally realizing that her own statement applies to herself as well… but didn't care because now she could show off her eye for fashion.

"Fox has a point," Greed pipped up, internally still slightly pissed that his coat wasn't in it's original condition. Sure he could have had Ed do it… but turns out the kid didn't trust him as Greed and Ling seemed to not really care one way or the other.

"Plus it never hurts to have more than one outfit all the time," Flippy smiled… the feeling of irony was strong after that sentence with almost everyone there.

"So… where would we find a clothes market if barely anyone here can read the language?" Ed asked, leaning back in a relaxed position on a bench.

"Well I think I know where to find one better than a market~" Kuro said with a mischievous smile on her face. Almost instantly a lot of the other team members felt a mild case of dread with where this was going.

...

"HOLY SHIT THIS MALL'S BIGGER THAN I WAS EXPECTING!"

"K-Kuro we're in public," Flippy stammered when the Fox spirit shouted the vulgar language relatively loud.

"It's loud enough here to drown it out…" Ulquiorra spoke calmly.

"Tell that to the other people around us, hm…" Deidara pointed out as he massaged one of his temples.

"Bleh to many human worms for my tastes," Envy sneered, noticing a few humans looking at him in particular and not so discreetly flipping them the bird in retaliation.

It smells so good in here~! Ling chimed as the smell of the food court was heavy in the air.

You know it actually does… wonder what it is.

Cheshire yawned at the sight, not really caring and curled back up into Flippy's arms and attempted to get some shut eye. Ed was slightly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people and technology around… mostly with the apparent indoor amusement park. For Envy, Greed and Deidara, it was a minor surprise as they had seen a few more advanced looking things thanks to their travels… After all Ed is still kinda new to the team.

"Come on let's go find the clothes store!" Kuro exclaimed before running off… leaving the men behind in the crowd.

"Does she even know where she's going this time?" Ed asked.

"Probably only knows as much as we do for this, hm…."

"Actually, according to the map here, she's going the long way around," Flippy brought up, pointing to the one thing all large mall's have, a list of stores as well as a map.

"What about the food area? Is that close by?" Ling asked, half expecting his team to get mad at him again for thinking with his stomach. However no one seemed to disagree with him this time.

"Well the food courts not that far, so we can stop there and eat first," Flippy said with a smile while Cheshire's ears perked up at the mention of food.

...

After having a meal from the food court and Deidara dragging Ling away so he won't eat everything that they have there and get the team kicked out because of found their way to the largest clothes store in the mall and began looking through to find some outfits they would wear to replace their damaged ones.

Envy however wasn't participating in the search and instead wandered off from the group to explore the mall on his own. Something about saying it's a waste of time or something.

Anyways among the group actually looking, Flippy was the first one to find an actual outfit he liked with a standard Green jacket for incase it got cold, two pairs of muscle shirts as well as a plain white T-shirt, and two pairs of jeans, a pair of dark green cargo pants as well as some new boots.

"Still having trouble deciding?" Flippy asked noticing how a good chunk of the others seemed to be having trouble deciding… and how both Ed and Ling seemed to be slowly getting more bored of shopping.

"Greed and I can't decide on a single set…"

That's because you just don't have my eye for fashion.

"Greed I'm pretty sure a short sleeved vest can only do us good for so long."

"I'd rather just get cloth at this rate and make my own…"

"Um… how about just picking out some simple and basic clothes if you can't decide?" Flippy offered the two before showing them his choices. "Like um… some t-shirts and some jeans can really go a long way. Plus you can never go wrong with a jacket!"

"Not everyone is satisfied with basics, hm," Deidara spoke up as he walked through an aisle actually paying closer attention to the details of the clothes present and seeming to be very, VERY nit picky.

"I-I'm just trying to help…" Flippy muttered softly, causing Cheshire, who was laying down on his backpack to lift his little black head up and rub it against Flippy in an attempt to cheer the green haired man up.

"THERE YOU GUYS ARE!" the loud voice of Kuro caught everyone's attention… and by everyone I mean EVERYONE. Noticing this the Fox spirit blushed from embarrassment and for Deidara to face palm.

"Oh hi Kuro," Flippy smiled while Cheshire hissed slightly from the fox's loud voice.

"Do you know how hard it was to find you guys?" the only female of the team questioned a little more quietly when she got closer. Her eyes narrowed in confusion when she noticed someone missing. "Also where's Envy?"

"Envy wandered off a while ago," Ulquiorra spoke up, barely even caring to look for anything to replace his own outfit.

Meanwhile with said sin. Envy was observing the humans around with a critical eye and an annoyed look on his face. Though it brightened considerably after he punched a guy, who had the gall to "cat-call" him, in the dick and politely told him (with quite honestly the most pleasant happy look to ever grace his face) to go fuck himself. Hell just thinking about the man's face when it happened was more than enough to make the sadistic sin grin and be able to tune out the annoying stares he got from some people.

Then again if he wasn't so stubborn about changing his usual wear out for something more natural he might actually receive LESS stares but that's just my personal opinion. But then again my own personal opinion never seems to reach these morons unless it's through Gin, who still annoys me to no end mind you! But hey I can still fuck with shi- oh shit that's right I'm writing a story not an author's note… whoops…

Ahem ANYWAYS, just as Envy was passing by a book store a small group of friends seemed to take notice of him rather quickly… and one of them seemed to just squeal in excitement before running up to him.

"CAN I TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU?!" she asked with a very excited look on her face that confused the hell out of the sin.

"Huh?"

Seeming to not take notice of his confusion or just thinking it was okay to do anyways the fangirl pulled out an Iphone and took a selfie with Envy, who was still confused as all hell on just what the fuck was going on. As soon as the pic was taken the fangirl thanked the sin and ran off to her friends, leaving a flabbergasted looking homunculus behind who was trying to make sense of what just happened.

...

"How about this one?"

"Hell no, to bright colored, hm!"

"Can you both hurry up already?! I'm dying to get moving!" Ed exclaimed as, for the past hour and fourty five minutes, Kuro had been helping them out with clothes shopping… the only one without new clothes was Deidara who was proving to be a difficult customer.

"I'd rather be with ENVY at the moment then here and that's saying something!" Greed exclaimed, feeling very antsy himself.

"You both can go exploring if you want," Flippy offered with a smile, thinking that the two would probably enjoy browsing around other stores for a while so they could finish up. To say the two agreed and calmly left the area would have been an almost complete lie as the two practically bolted for the exit (thankfully leaving their purchases with Ulquiorra so they won't set off the alarms) and left everyone else there to finish.

"What have you done Flippy, hm?"

"I… honestly have no clue."

"HOW ABOUT THIS ONE?!" Kuro asked, not really paying attention to what just happened and was holding up another outfit choice to the blond. Deidara however grew irritated.

"FOR THE LAST TIME I'M NOT GETTING THAT IN ANY COLOR, HM!"

Such foolish beings, Ulquiorra thought as he casually choose to leave the store, after paying for the clothes of course, and began wandering around till it was dubbed time to leave.

….

Envy had wandered into the bookstore that the weird girl had come out of with her friends and felt a minor headache coming on from the fact all the books he saw were one's he couldn't read and had no clue what the hell they were about… till he found a book in the foreign section as a German to English Dictionary. Flipping through it he felt a little pathetic that he had to resort to using a human method for learning to read this language (and was questioning what the hell German was for a moment but said screw it) but hey it was something he wasn't going to pass up on.

Deciding to get the book (though with what money the answer was simple… he wasn't going to use any and blame it on someone he saw earlier by shapeshifting into them… which he actually did before entering) he wandered out and began looking through the other aisles… only to come across a surprising and practically life changing discovery… Manga.

More specifically the Fullmetal Alchemist manga caught his attention right off the bat from the familiar faces.

"What the shit?" Pulling the Book he took out, Envy started to read through both books in an attempt to translate something that seemed to happen exactly where he was from.

Needless to say, Envy was now getting really freaked out that the people in this world seemed to know so much about his world… and the pipsqueak's personal life.

"ED! ED LOOK THEY'RE SELLING SWORDS!" Ling shouted in excitement as he pointed out a specialty shop while Ed sweat dropped and gave Ling a questioning look.

"I see but what the hell do you want with that?"

Seriously we have my Shield!

"Well for starters Greed's the one with the shield and I've only got hand to hand in my arsonal, not very good against opponents if I can't use the Ultimate Shield. Plus after the walking dead incident it's not a bad idea to carry some kind of weapon," Ling pointed out as he went in closer to the store and started looking through the blades that it had to offer.

"You know I could easily make you a sword."

"Yeah you could but would you actually make one for me?"

"... Good point."

You know you could ask to use my shield.

"Eh, I know but hey gotta stick what you feel comfortable with am I right?"

… Good point.

"Also a good idea to have them in case of another world full of zombies."

… Okay you got me kid.

"OH MY GOD!" A loud squeal of pure excitement caught the duo (Trio's?) attention, causing them to turn and see the exact same group that Envy had encountered, not that they would know honestly, and the same girl who took a selfie with the sin. Now she was running up to them with the most excited look on her face.

"CAN I TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU?!"

"Huh?" Ed, Ling and Greed all questioned at the same time, only for the girl to get in between them and snap a picture, leaving the men confused as all hell and one of the girls friend's to face palm so hard.

"Thank you so much!" the girl grinned before running back to her friends and leaving the two (three?) boys behind with nothing but confusion written on their faces.

"What… just happened?" Ling asked.

"I have no idea…" Ed answered.

"Wait… did that girl have Pink hair and eyes?" Greed asked, taking over for a moment as confusion was high in the sky.

"I… Wait yeah she did."

After realizing how out of place that girl's hair and eyes were to other people they have seen, the two (three? It didn't take long for Ulquiorra to find where Envy was, but he took a while to get there as he decided to take in the sights and knew that there was no need to rush in retrieving the sin. Walking into the bookstore, Ulquiorra only glanced around, taking in the rows upon rows of literature as well as the rather welcoming scent that came from said books. Taking calm and collect steps through the store to where he sensed Envy, the Cuarto Espada ignored the looks that some people gave him. After all it was pointless and didn't have any effect on him.

Stepping into the section that read "Manga" Ulquiorra quirked a brow (though it was hard to tell that he did) when he saw Envy assuming some random person's form and had two piles of books near him, along with a single one in his hands that he seemed to have trouble keeping his nose out of. Curious the pale Hollow stalked quietly over to Envy's side and looked at the book from over the disguised Sin's shoulder… only to feel his eyes widen the smallest of fractions when he saw the familiar image of their blond haired team member Edward Elric in black and white format.

Glancing around with a need to confirm if this was just a coincidence or not, Ulquiorra's emerald gaze stopped on a certain manga that started with the letter "B" and the few familiar faces on the sides of the books.

"Impossible…" the Espada said out loud, causing Envy to jump with a small scream as he was snapped out of his reading.

"Warn a guy before you give them a heart attack!"

"... I'll be sure to keep that in mind the next time I walk up behind you and speak." Envy huffed in mild annoyance before turning his attention back to the book in his hands with an unreadable expression on his face.

"... How much is true in that?" Ulquiorra asked, feeling the need for answers from a sometimes reliable source… or rather barely if you really think about it, but hey miracles can happen.

"... Pretty much everything from what I've seen… Especially the parts I was there for," Envy answered honestly as he was getting a little bit freaked out by the manga series… but he just had to know how far and deep it went. Ulquiorra's expression remained blank but from the corner of Envy's eye he noticed there was an ever so slight tensing of muscle going on in the Espada's shoulders.

Honestly Envy wasn't sure whether to be freaked out by the manga that detailed the events of his world, the fact Ulquiorra knew it was him specifically or that said Espada seemed to have an actual reaction for once. Personally though I'd have to go with the latter but hey that's just me.

"Everyone ready now, hm?" Deidara asked after everyone finished their shopping… and some got over their confusion. The group was all outside the mall, not yet in the new outfits that most of them had gotten but carried the bags (and in Greedling's Case a full on curved blade sword in a sheath) and almost all of them looked eager to leave by this point.

Before Greed could pull the orb out, what sounded like a large explosion came from the upper floor of the mall behind them… and Flippy went into panic attack mode while almost the whole group shot Deidara an accusatory gaze.

"For once I swear I didn't do that, hm!" Deidara exclaimed while holding his hands up in an attempt to look innocent.

"Right, then the mall just decided to make a new skylight on it's own," Envy stated with a dead panned look on his face… only to see a something small and Pink jumping out from the new opening as well as something that could only be described as Sasquatches butt ugly cousin, once removed, jumping after it.

Soon after the two landed about… 5 maybe 6 feet away from the group and instantly three of the members recognized the pink thing to be the strange girl… this time in some ridiculously fluffy looking outfit with a oversized staff for a weapon.

The amount of What the Fuck was high in the air, while Kuro's eyes sparkled a little with a tiny gasp of excitement as the battle continued… and for the strange fangirl's friends to jump down as well and join her in the battle.

"... Anyone else seeing this? Because if so, what the hell are we on?" Envy asked.

"Uh… I-I see i-it… W-What was in that f-food court food?!" Flippy managed, trying to control his panic attack. At the same time Cheshire was equally confused as everyone else and had his left ear twitch a little.

"I can't believe I'm saying this… but Envy's right what the hell are we on?!" Ed questioned as it seemed like magic started to happen in the combat.

"... Greed get us out of here now, hm…"

"... Way ahead of you there…."

"WHAT? But… but Magical Girls," Kuro said giving the puppy dog eyes to the men… only for it to fail as Greed got them all to "Nope!" the fuck out of there with help from the orb.

Let it be known…. Everyone but Kuro did not want to be apart of a Magical Girl world any longer then they had to… Well until the orb (and possibly me as the writer) decided to be a dick and cause it to happen again…. Hmmm Maybe sometime soon.

Appearing in the new world the team ended up landing in a Dog pile from Heaviest at the bottom (Envy) to Lightest on the top (Kuroashi) and no one was happy… no one.

"CAN ALL OF YOU GET OFF MY BACK NOW?!" Envy shouted barely a minute after they landed. Everyone did, before taking the time to examine the world around them (except for Kuro who was still disappointed that she couldn't finish watching the Magical Girl fight.)

They found themselves in a small looking town with a large amount of trees and fields full of grass. The problem mostly was that some of the trees were purple… fucking purple man. Not to mention there was a few more unnatural colors among the land. Everyone but Flippy started to feel confused. Instead of his fellow teammates, Flippy's eyes widened with joy before turning into one of horror and fear as he started to look around with panic.

"G-G-Guys…" Flippy stammered earning everyone's attention and even causing a few quirked brows from them for how fearful the green haired veteran looked.

"W-We're… We're in m-my home town…. Happy Tree…"

Omake

"Glad ta see yer back in the game writer-san~ But seriously ya get angry at me for fourth wall breaking yet you do it in yer own story."

Oh yeah… that. Well see, I got a request to have Shadow the Hedgehog appear. Sure I can have that happen… but what's interesting was that in a VERY early draft I had thought about I was planning to make him one of the team members! Though I decided against it as soon as I got the idea… mostly because for one thing he wouldn't bring too much to the story and I just didn't know how to work with him constantly. Hell I actually struggled with Ulquiorra for a while before it started just becoming natural for me.

"That ya did, that ya did. Now then, I'm pretty sure if ya look back at chapter 2 where I already explained the worlds tha main three came from you'd all get a little bit more on where they ended up. Thankfully they landed there as their regular selves but give it till next chapter and bam, cute little animal forms that can and would get mutilated in a ridiculously easy fashion."

Watching from the Outside:

When Ulquiorra found Envy reading the manga… this wasn't what he was expecting to see from the Sin. Sitting in front of the Espada was the disguised sin curled up and crying… actually crying while holding one of the Fullmetal Alchemist books to his chest.

"What's brought this on?"

"I'M SUCH A FUCKING ASSHOLE!" Envy exclaimed. Needless to say Ulquiorra did not understand why the homunculus was only reacting about this now.

Had Ulquiorra taken the time to actually read any of the manga, he definitely would have seen that in the exact book the mentioned asshole was holding was the one where he killed a certain loving father.
