~ Previously on Unexpected ~
Eddie: Can I come by tomorrow so that we can talk? And not just about this but about everything? I think it's good for us to talk everything through.
Loren: Okay, I think you're right.
It's like every good moment we have together erases a little bit of my anger towards him and it scares me. He's making me so confused. It was so much easier to hate him when he wasn't around.
Lily and I just parked our car at Austin's house. This party is going to be epic!
Loren (nervous): It just feels like this conversation will change everything.
Eddie: I hope it does.
LOREN'S POV
Eddie: Were you jealous at Linsey?
Loren (biting her lip): I wondered when you were going to ask me about that.
Eddie: Were you?
Loren (still biting her lip): I think I was.
Eddie: Why?
Loren (looking down): I think it was because I might still have feelings for you.
Eddie: ...
Loren: ...
Eddie: Are you in love with Tyler?
Loren (shocked): What?! NO!
Eddie: Then why did you sleep with him?
Loren: I didn't. (looking down) I didn't.
Eddie (smiling): You didn't?
Loren (still looking down): No. I mean I almost did.
Eddie: Why didn't you?
Loren: Well first, I'm not that kind of girl. And second... you.
Eddie: Me?
Loren: Yeah, images of you and me making love kept flashing through my head.
I look up and see Eddie moving his head closer to mine until we're just inches apart.
Eddie (whispering): I love you.
I can feel his warm breath on my lips. I'm longing for him to kiss me.
Loren (whispering): I think I love you too.
I look into his eyes and they light up. But in mine appear tears. "Yes, that's right little girl. Eddie has been cheating on you this whole relationship." I pull my head back and a few tears roll down my cheeks.
Loren: How often did you sleep with her?
Eddie: I didn't. Loren, I didn't.
Loren (crying): How often?
I look him in the eyes and see how a few tears roll down his cheeks.
Eddie (crying): Baby, I didn't.
"Babe, what's wrong? Don't call me that! Babe, I can explain. I said don't call me that!"
Loren (crying): I said don't call me that!
Eddie (crying): Loren, no. No, don't do this. Please, don't. That argument was back then.
"I'm just a rebound and now I'm not good enough anymore so you're running back to Chloe!"
Loren (crying): I'm not good enough so you will run back to Chloe.
He crushes his lips onto mine. I try to pull back but he has a tight hold on my head. He kisses me desperately.
~ Flashback ~
I'm laying on the ground laughing at Eddie. He finally got rid of the old lady.
Eddie: So you think that's funny Tate?
I just keep laughing and soon Eddie is sitting on top of me pushing my wrists against the ground. His face is a few inches away from mine. I feel his breath on my lips and that makes me laugh a little bit less. We just look into each other's eyes.
Loren (chuckling): It was funny, you have to give me that.
Eddie (smiling): You suck at being a good girlfriend.
Loren (smiling): Then why are you still with me?
Eddie: Because I love you.
And then his lips hover mine.
~ Flashback ~
Eddie and I are walking in the city hand in hand. Then Eddie suddenly pushes me into a Victoria's secret store. I turn around and raise my eyebrows at him.
Loren: Really Eddie?
Eddie (smirking): Oh yeah.
Loren (with an evil smile): You're going to regret this.
Now I'm on a mission. To make Eddie as hard as I can. I scan through the racks and grab everything from really exposing to practically naked. I turn around and look at Eddie. He holds his hands up wich are full of sexy underwear and smirks at me. I laugh. He mouths at me "love you" but still with the smirk on his face. I walk into the dressing room and try on set after set. Every time I walk out and Eddie's sitting in front of the dressing room and his mouth falls open every time. I walk up to him and lean in so close that our lips touch. He tries to put his hands on me but I push them back.
Loren (whispering): Regretting it already?
He swallows and shakes his head. I pull back and walk back into the dressing room. I put on the most exposing set and then walk out again. But as soon as I take one step out Eddie pushes me into the dressing room and against the wall.
Eddie: You are crazy.
Loren (smiling): Really? Why?
Eddie: You are willing to show everyone in this shop almost every part of your body just to make me admit you were right.
Loren (smiling): Was I right?
Eddie: Of course you were, you always are. And I love you for it. (teasing) Even though you're crazy.
Loren (leaning in): Oh shut up.
Eddie and I walk out of the Victoria's secret shop just to see a huge crowd of paparazzi.
Reporter: Loren, can we ask you some qeuestions?!
Eddie smiles at me and then throws me over his shoulder. He starts running and I'm laughing really hard. Eddie starts screaming in this creapy voice. Like he's kidnapping me or something.
Eddie (in a creapy voice): She's mine! Loren Tate is mine!
That only makes me laugh harder. When we reach his car he puts me down.
Loren (laughing): Now who's crazy?
Eddie: Oh you know you love me.
I was hitting Eddie on his chest with my hands but now I stop objecting and relax. Eddie must feel it because he pulls back. I look at him and the crying has stopped.
Eddie: I'm sorry Loren. You were just really scaring me and I didn't know what else to do.
Loren: It's okay. I was acting crazy. I don't know what happened. One moment I was fine and the next all I could focus on was our argument back then.
Eddie: And the kiss made you snap out of it?
Loren: Yeah. The kiss made all these good memories about us being togeher flash through my head.
Eddie (wiping away her tears): Did you mean it about loving me?
Loren: I did. I think I love you.
Eddie: You still have the video right?
Loren (looking down): Yeah.
Eddie: Can I see it?
Loren: Why?
Eddie: I just want to see if I can figure out what happened. I don't remember anything about that night and it is killing me.
I hand him over my phone and turn my head the other way. Soon I can hear Chloe moaning and it makes me flinch. Eddie notices and he puts his hand on my shoulder.
Eddie (whispering): I didn't cheat on you.
Loren: What?
He stops the video and turns towards me with a big smile on his face.
Eddie: I didn't cheat on you!
Loren (sighs): You've said that so many times Eddie.
Eddie: But now I have proof! Look at this video.
I flinch again. His hand is still on my shoulder.
Eddie: I know it's hard for you but please watch it?
I nod.
Eddie: Look at my eyes.
I watch the video and notice that Eddie's eyes are closed during the whole video. His clothes are on and all that's happening is Chloe kissing him. What does this mean? Was he sleeping? No, he would have woken up by this. He never had his eyes closed when we made love. Maybe his sex with Chloe was just for pleasure? No, it would be weird to keep your eyes closed during sex. There's only one declaration. Eddie was right all along. Chloe drugged him. I drop my phone on the ground and crush my lips onto Eddie's. He cups my head and I tangle my hands in his hair. He slowly pushes me back until I'm laying on the couch. I wrap my legs around his body and let him push his tongue into my mouth. That's when I get a call. We pull back and I smile at Eddie. My legs are on both sides of his body. I grab my phone and answer it.
AMY'S POV
Lily and I get out of our clothes and are about to jump into the pool when Liv walks up to us.
Liv: Gosh, you guys are ugly in bikini's.
Amy (fake smiling): Nice to see you too Liv.
Liv: Oh shut up. You know Austin will never go for you right? You're so ugly.
Amy: Wow Liv. I think that would have hurt if I actually cared about your opinion.
That's when I feel a hand on my bare back. I look behind me and see that it's Austin. He's laughing at what I just said.
Austin: Leave her alone Liv.
Liv: Why? So that you can go fuck her?
Austin: Fuck off Liv.
Liv: You know he only wants you for sex right Amy? I'm not saying this to be mean. Okay, maybe I am a little. But I also wouldn't want you to have sex with this jerk and regret it for the rest of your life.
Austin leads me away from Liv. Was she right? Of course she wasn't. She's just trying to ruin my evening if not my life. But why is Austin leading me up the stairs?
Amy: Ehm...why are we going upstairs?
Austin: I think that's pretty obvious.
I want to scream but before I can he already has his hand on my mouth. I struggle against his grip but he just takes me upstairs and into his room. Then he finally lets me go.
Amy: I don't want this.
Austin: Too bad, I do.
I look around trying to find something to hit him with but he's already by my side and he throws me on the bed.
Austin: You know, this would me much more fun if you would work with me here.
LOREN'S POV
Loren: Hello. This is Loren Tate.
Damon: Hello Mrs. Tate. You have to come to the address I'm going to text you and quick.
Loren: Is this some kind of joke?
Eddie looks at me worried.
Damon: No Mrs. Tate. Please, it's about Amy. I think someone is trying to hurt her.
Loren: I'll be right there.
I hang up the phone and rush to my car. Eddie follows me.
Eddie: What the hell is going on?
Loren (turning around): It's Amy.
Eddie: We'll take my car.
We get in and rush towards the address the boy send me. We don't even take the time to proporly park the car. I jump out of the car before Eddie even stopped it. I run into the house and Eddie is right behind me. The boy texted me I should go upstairs so that's where I'm going. I hear a crashing sound so I run into that room. One boy is on the ground with a bleeding nose and the other one is trying to take Amy's top off. I rush towards the boy and punch him in the face making him let go of Amy. My hand hurts but I would have done it a thousand times over. The boy charges at me but before he can do anything Eddie has pinned him against the wall.
Amy (crying): Mom?
I turn around and walk towards my baby girl. I wrap my arms around her and squeeze her.
Loren: Are you okay?
Amy (sobbing): I am now.
I can hear Eddie screaming so I let go of Amy. I turn around and see Eddie punching the guy who I think is Austin. Austin is on the ground and his nose his bleeding. He's shielding his face but there are already many cuts and bruises on his face. I walk over to Eddie and grab his arm and Amy walks towards Damon and helps him stand up. Eddie has a temper so it will be hard to get him to stop.
Loren: Eddie. Stop!
Eddie stops punching but is still tense.
Loren: He's a kid.
Eddie (angry): A kid who dared to rape my daughter! Why are you defending him?!
Loren: Because you'll get in big trouble if you kill him.
Eddie turns towards me. I put my hand on his cheek. He puts his hand on mine and then frowns. He grabs my hand and looks at it. It's bruised.
Eddie: So you're the one that broke his nose huh?
Loren (looking down): I guess I am.
Eddie: Are you okay?
Loren (smiling): I'm fine.
Eddie: We'll take care of that at home.
I look at Austin standing behind Eddie and rage fills me. I'm not done with him. I grab Austin by the neck and push him against the wall. I tighten my grip on his neck while talking.
Loren: If you ever get near my daughter again, I will kill you.
I let him go and walk towards Amy. She's standing next to Damon waiting for us. We all walk out of the room and out of the house. Lily sees us and follows. We all get into Eddie's car except for Damon. He gets into his own car and follows us. We get out of the car when we reach my house and we all get inside. I grab a piece of cloth and make it wet. I also grab a bag of ice. Then I walk towards Damon who's sitting next to Amy on the couch. I clean his nose and then give him the bag of ice. I have no idea where Eddie went.
Loren: Thank you for calling us and defending Amy, Damon.
Damon: No problem Mrs. Tate.
Loren: Please call me Loren.
Lily walks into the room with Amy's rope and gives it to her. After Amy put it on I turn towards her and wrap one of my arms around her.
Loren: Are you okay?
Amy: Yes mom, I'm fine.
Eddie walks into the room with a bag of ice and sits next to me. He grabs my hand and puts the ice on it. I wince.
Amy: It was really cool how you punched him mom.
Loren: You think it's cool how I punched someone younger than I?
Lily: He deserved it.
Amy: What I don't get is? How did dad know?
I look at Eddie and he smiles. This is the first time she called him dad. I would have been angry but now that everything's okay between us I'm okay with it. I'm even really happy about it. Her question has as answer that we were making out though so this is a bit awkward.
Loren (scraping her throat): Eddie was here to...talk.
Eddie (smirking): Yeah...talking is what we did.
Amy: Oh my Gosh, you guys totally did it!
Loren (shocked): No, we didn't!
Amy: Tomorrow I'll ask what Melissa thinks of it. She'll agree with me.
Damon: Maybe I should go now.
Amy: I'll walk you to the door.
Lily: I should go too.
Loren: Bye Lily.
They all walk to the door leaving me and Eddie and a whole lot of sexual tension. We're looking into each other's eyes and I feel how we're both longing to be in our previous position when I got the call.
Eddie (whispering): Should I go too?
So, what does this mean for Loren and Eddie? Isn't Loren still with Tyler?
