{SUMMER'S JOY}
Hey! I know. Wow. I'm back :')
I noticed that this story wasn't actually getting
updated as it was agreed to be _ Which kinda
pissed me off a bit ._. I'm really sorry for making you guys wait
for soooo long ._. I decided to continue when I saw this
lying around on my "Random" folder (yes, I have a folder which I call, Random)
And I thought, "Hell. Might as well continue it."
So, I'm glad to say that I am finally back and that I missed all of you ^_^
Now, back to the story ;)

Chapter 8- Aishiteru(Part 2)
(Lounge room) (10:00 am) (Friday, 2 days, 1 night left)
"Alright guys! You know the plan!' Gray exclaimed happily.
"Gihee. At least I won't be doing this," teased Gajeel.
"You're just sad that Levy's not here, eh?" Natsu teasingly nudged him.
Well, who knew that iron can actually turn red when hot? (He's blushing xD)
Downstairs….
"Sheesh. What's taking them so long? We've already finished breakfast!" said Wendy as she dried the plates.
"Leave them alone. At least they found something better to do than muck around like the idiots that they are," Erza casually replied, taking a bite of her cake.
"Well…they're taking way too long though," Lucy said in a slightly annoyed and impatient tone.
"Ohoho. Someone's restless," Erza teased, waving her fork in a circular pattern.
"E-eh?! I am not!" Lucy blushed furiously. "I should really watch what I say from now on. And also how I say it."
"Whatever you say," Erza chuckled and continued eating.
At that same moment, laughter and distant footsteps were heard.
"Looks like they're finally here," Wendy announced whilst wiping her hands on her apron.
"Rejoice, Lucy! Your dragon's here to rescue you from your tirelessness," said the redheaded, armoured mage while nudging and winking at Lucy.
"Yo, minna!" greeted said dragon.
"We have a great idea for today! Just to take a break from all the competition! And also to celebrate our friends' engagem—ehem I mean…relationship!" Gray gestured towards Natsu and Lucy.
"So we decided to go for a day out in the city!" Gray announced.
(City)
The group arrived at a restaurant known for its wide array of dishes and also because of its…"bizarre" entertainment.
"Yosh! Let's go! Natsu, go sit beside Lucy. I'll sit beside…er…" Gray looked around to find Juvia staring at him with those big puppy dog eyes that seemed to be glaring right into his very soul. "Juvia then," Gray gulped.
"Erza, Gajeel, and Wendy, you can pick which seats you'd all like," Gray told them. "The Exceeds can have their own place if they want."
Everyone gathered around the table and took a seat in their respective places.
And Erza, being the mischievous mage that she is, noticed that Lucy and Natsu were about to take their seats.
"Ohoho…" As stealthy as the shadows themselves, she bumped into Lucy causing the blonde to trip onto Natsu.
"Oh, sorry, I accidentally bumped into you….ehem…on purpose, anyways, enjoy!" Erza winked and disappeared before she can be dealt with.
"T-that…GRRR….she better prepare for revenge…" thought Lucy angrily, unaware of the fact that Natsu was still underneath her.
"Er…you alright there, Lucy?" Natsu propped her up so that she can now stand properly.
"I'm fine, thanks," she replied back. "What a shame though…he was quite warm and comfy."
"I see…"
They finally settled onto their seats without further drama …(ABOUT TIME THEY FINALLY SAT DOWN!)
A waiter neared their table after being summoned (good choice of words, eh? xD).
"What would you like for tonight?" said waiter asks.
"We'll just have some iced tea right now, we still haven't made up our mind yet," Gray…ordered?
"Right away, sir." The waiter then went on his way and prepared our drinks.
"What do you guys think of this place? Not too shabby, eh?" Gray told everyone.
"I guess it's not bad," Natsu replied. Natsu actually didn't go to restaurants that much. He mostly just ate at the guild or at Lucy's house. So he has very limited knowledge about them.
The waiter arrived (oh dayum, that was fast..) and placed the iced tea in the middle of the table. With a simple, 'Enjoy,' he left the scene.
"Ooh…it looks refreshing!" Wendy exclaimed as she observed the pitcher (or jug, whatever you call it).
Erza picked the jug up and pured equal amounts into everyone's glasses. "Let's try it then! I'm quite eager as well!"
Natsu held his glass in front of his face and scrunched his eyebrows in suspicion. "Something doesn't smell right…"
"Oi! Natsu! What are you waiting for? Drink up! It's good!" yelled Gray.
Natsu hesitated for a while before dinally talking a big gulp of it. "A drink of iced tea woudn't hurt, right?"
"E-er…yeah. I guess," Lucy responded as she took a sip out of her own glass.
"What's with this atmosphere? I suddenly feel hot and funny for some reason. I wonder why…" Lucy thought to herself.
"Ubuh…"
"E-EH!?" Everyone turned their gazes too Juvia who has turned extremely red and was leaning on Gray's shoulder.
"U-buh buh…gahabuhaha….Gray-sama…" Juvia muttered, clutching her glass in her right hand.
"OI! SOMEONE SHUT HER UP! AND GIVE ME MORE OF THIS STUFF!" yelled Erza, waving her glass in the air.
"Wahh…I'm gonna pass out…" Poor Wendy was going in circles, clutching her head in pain.
"W-what's happening?" Natsu quickly complained.
Gray laughed and let out a hiccup. "I don't…*hiccup* know but, this is some good stuff right here. Just keep on drinking."
"NO! There's definitely something wrong! We have to-"
Lucy tugged on Natsu's shirt and quietly whispered, "Can you please shut up and sit down? Entertain me. I'm very bored."
'What in the name of Mavis is going on?! Lucy's never like this! But…I don't think it's a good idea to disobey…UGH!" Leaving Natsu no choice, he sat down beside Lucy and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Ne, Lucy. Do you have any idea what's happening?"
"Fuah?" Lucy gaze at Natsu, she looked really dazed.
Natsu shrugged. "Guess not." Natsu continued slouching on his seat until the lights went out and he felt someone grab him. "Hey! What the-"
The lights went out and Lucy felt that Natsu had left. "Where's Natsu gone?" She asked sleepily. She sat up and looked around only to find the others are snoring away.
"GET READY FOR THE MAIN ATTRACTION!" A loud voice boomed out from nowhere as the lights on the stage started to flash and flicker about. (Yes. There's a stage.)
"HERE IN THIS CORNER! WE HAVE THIS YOUNG LAD TO COOL DOWN YOUR SENSES! GRAY, THE ICE MAGE!"
Lucy's jaw dropped as a fazed (and seemingly drunk) Gray appeared on stage.
"Hello there, ladies and gents! How are y'all todayrr~?" Gray slurred onto the microphone. "As entertainmenth…mah buddy and I shall perform a dance fer you all."
As he said the word, 'dance,' loud screams were heard from the audience (mostly from the girls) and the front of the stage was immediately crowded by fangirls. Including…for some reason…Juvia who seemed to have woken up and has arrived very quickly at the front of the stage.
"GRAY-SAMA! JUVIA WUVS YOU VERY MUCH!" Juvia screamed as she swayed from side to side.
"Alright! Lemme introduce to you…" Gray started his sentence.
"Oh, sweet mother of Zeref. I wonder who was the person unlucky enough to be Gray's partner?" said Lucy out loud before taking a drink from a glass of water that she got from a passing waiter.
"MAH BOY NATSU!" yelled Gray enthusiastically as he grabbed a scared looking (but stunningly adorable) Natsu from backstage.
Lucy spat out a fountain of water towards her sleeping nakamas as she heard (and saw) what was currently going on.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! WHY AM I ALL WET?!" screamed a very angry and drenched Erza.
"Err…the sprinkler went off. Because…someone accidentally hit it with a…uh…a Nokia!" Lucy said, desperately trying to make an excuse.
"What. In. The. Name. Of. Edolas. Is. A. Nokia!?" questioned Erza, still very angry.
"Oh dear. I made that up on the spot. What do I say?!"
"Err…Erza, you see, a Nokia is a very rare…item that can only be taken from very strong monsters. It's a legendary item that grants its user powers so extraordinary, they become invincible."
Erza pondered on this for a moment, "Hmmm….a Nokia, you say? I must find the person that currently possesses this…Nokia. I'll be right back." And with that statement, she ran off to search for said item and person.
"Thank heavens she believed me. I thought I was dead meat. Let's just hope that she gives up on finding it," muttered Lucy as she turned her attention back to the stage.
Currently, let's just say that what was happening wasn't exactly as tame as it was before.
Gray was now singing and dancing his heart out, waving his shirt around, while Natsu was just playing the keyboard along with Gray (NATSU PLAYS THE KEYBOARD?! ~The more you know~)
After a few more lines, the song and performance has seemingly ended and Gray threw his shirt to the crowd whilst mumbling, "Thank you, thank you, good night!" and collapsed on the stage. A lot of fangirls fought over the shirt until a wave of water all blasted them away in different directions. Lucy chuckled slightly as she knew that there would be a certain water mage dying out of happiness later on.
From where she was, Lucy could see Natsu roll his eyes as he carried the passed out Gray off the stage. Natsu turned around towards Lucy's direction and made eye contact with each other. Natsu quickly averted his gaze and looked away, face flushing red.
"Ah, he's so cute." Lucy thought as she smiled softly and waited for the two to arrive.
In the distance, Juvia can be seen hugging Gray's discarded shirt tightly, a satisfied smile plastered on her face.
~MEANWHILE….AT THE KITCHEN~
"OH MY GOD, SHAUN! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO CONFUSE BEER, APPLE JUICE, AND ICE TEA TOGETHER?!"
"I-I'm sorry, boss! I don't have my glasses today and-"
"THIS HAS BEEN THE SEVENTH TIME YOU'VE CAUSED A GROUP OF PEOPLE TO GET DRUNK! AND THEY WERE MAGES TOO! ALMOST A THIRD OF MY PROPERTY HAS BEEN DESTROYED BECAUSE OF THEIR ANTICS!"
"Well, boss…at least they seem happy…" Shaun said as he pointed towards a certain group, who were all sound asleep in their booth.
OHMYGAT. THIS CHAPTER WAS SO CRAZY XD THERE WILL BE A PART 3 BECAUSE I FELT LIKE THIS CHAPTER WAS MORE OF A FILLER CHAPTER RATHER THAN FOLLOWING THE CURRENT PLOT. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY CAPS IS ON. Anyways, I missed writing chapters for you guys :D I really did -3- So, expect more chapters from me. Though I may not update as quickly as I did before but, I WILL STILL UPDATE! Anyways…read and review, thanks =D Oh, and if any of you want me to make a side story about Erza's search for "The Nokia", just say "Nokia" somewhere in your review and I shall make it :3 Cheers!
