Yeah… Kinda anti-climax isn't it? The previous chapter. Is my intention from the start for the mermaid to just let go of Kakashi like that. So I apologise to those who were expecting more, but at least I gave you guys some ideas to write better story right?
Well, this is gonna be the last chapter! I'm glad I can end this story, I personally loved it!
It's finally over, the vacation that got a twist in the road was unexpected, but the shinobis were trained to expect that. Along with the notorious Team 7, Iruka swam with them towards the surface. Luckily the sudden mission wasn't too bad, they all manage to come back in one piece. The mermaid, Isabella send them off, with tears of happiness. She had apologised over and over, and made Naruto and Sakura swore a ninja oath to protect their sensei, Kakashi, who's a splitting image of her past lover. Iruka cannot imagine what just happen to them, maybe it's just a game of faith to let them explore the beautiful, corralled ocean.
This is the best vacation ever.
With a splash, the blond Uzumaki popped out his head from the surface of the lake. After that more splashes come forth and they all headed to dry land. After managed to get out from the lake with Naruto's help, Sakura said: "You know Iruka sensei, I was pretty impressed at how you calmed Isabella, that poor mermaid was in disarray."
Naruto continued: "Yeah, I'm just glad Isabella is pretty fine when we left her. Who would have thought her fiancé looked like Kakashi sensei!"
"Oh yeah, well I'm glad they don't do what they usually do on their prisoners to Kakashi sensei, that weird and powerful genjutsu or something." Sakura said so with an exhausted face.
Quickly dismissing the memory of Itachi's genjutsu, Kakashi helped his lover out from the water. "Alright, get back everyone." Kakashi gave his warning. Iruka, Naruto, Sakura and Yamato stepped a few steps back.
While underwater, Kakashi decipher the space ninjutsu placed in the lake, the space ninjutsu that allow earth crawlers to breath underwater. Releasing his sharingan eye, which looked glowing red in a cave lack of light, he performed some hand seals. After forming his chakra in the order he desired, he released them all at once with his Sharingan eye as the channel.
The lake went 'kaboosh'! Water burst upright from the lake's surface, hitting the low celling, signalling the dispersion of the space jutsu.
After the small water show, Yamato sensed the released of the jutsu and exclaimed, "You did it senpai! Now the lake have been returned to…" Yamato registered a single 'thump'.
"Kakashi!" Iruka called out to the Hatake that fell to the ground, that had fainted. Holding his head up on his lap, he confirmed that Kakashi not 100% unconscious, as Iruka can tell he's smiling beneath his mask. "Hah.. dispersing that jutsu took more of my strength than I thought…" Kakashi said breathlessly.
Sakura, being the medic kunoichi she is, exclaimed a long sigh. "You know what? Let's hurry up and get out from this creepy cave, so I can treat Kaka…"
Iruka pulled up Kakashi head to plant a direct kiss on his lips.
Even in a cave lack of outside light, everyone paused and held their breath. After parting their lips, for once Kakashi looked submissive.
