Toris did end up mastering green magic over the course of several months, just as planned. The times when Feliks was allowed to see him, Arthur actually allowed them to continue on with their "snogging". Matthew had declared that he would be staying with Arthur, living with him for whatever reason. It was time for Toris to leave, however and he stood in the doorway, giving farewell to Arthur.

"Before you leave, Toris," Arthur said, addressing Toris and Feliks who had begun walking away. "What is the one green magic I have used on you since I met you and now I am releasing?"

Toris thought about it for a while. After thinking about it for a while, Toris stumbled upon the answer. Back when he had been training with Arthur, his policies had seemed fair, as he had felt it would be the best for him, but now, they seemed outrageous. "How I felt about your rules. That was magic."

"Yes, good job. I officially name you proficient in green magic."

Toris began walking off, smiling and waving back at Arthur as he went. "Bye, Arthur. I'll have to repay you sometime."

"Yes, I do suppose."

"So, where do we go now?" Toris asked, turning to Feliks.

Feliks thought about his question for a few seconds before jumping up with the answer. "There's gonna be like my dragon friend who's gonna take us to like the city place that I first showed you in your dreams."

Toris nodded, not quite understanding of what he had said. "Alright…"

Feliks grabbed his hand again and dragged him through the forest at a running pace. Toris struggled to keep up, panting unlike the spirit who never seemed to run out of breath.

Eventually, they game to a clearing with grass only along the outsides. Three rings, all covered in runes in some strange language surrounded a tall stone, about three times Toris's height. The top of the stone appeared to be cut off at a slanted angle, and set in it was a green gem with more green veins running through it. A strange energy seemed to pulse through it to Toris, but Feliks plopped down away from the structure. "Figure it out. I can't help you. It has to be a green magic using prince or king."

Toris nodded and traced his hand across the runes, examining them and the pulsating energy he felt. "What does it do?"

Feliks smiled. "You'll see."

Toris leaned down to touch the runes, the mysterious energy pulsating through him. As Toris ran his hand across them, something struck him as odd. Arthur had taught him to sense webs, or living creatures in the green realm by always keeping himself ever so slightly submerged into it. Tracing the edges of one of the strange letters, Toris allowed himself out of his physical form, as he had practiced so many times.

In the green realm, the structure stretched over the entire first circle. It was a complicated and strange web of thoughts and emotions, which, considering there were no actual living things there according to Toris's senses, was very odd.

Toris sensed the web of interconnecting emotions, and it struck him as complicated, a puzzle near unsolvable, except a strange feeling swept over him. Toris let out a small gasp as he realized that the feeling was the same one that overtook him just after Alfred died in his blind rage.

It was the feeling of white magic.

Suddenly, Toris understood what Feliks meant by it only being able to used by a king. He would have to pay attention to the white magic alone, ignoring everything else about it.

Toris focused in on the feeling, absorbing its essence. The answer came onto him in a wave. The wave was not technical, made of only emotions, yet Toris understood the words clearly.

Snapping out of his magical trance, Toris began to chant.

"the green magic was used

to instil love in their hearts

and force feelings upon them

to seal the soul of mass"

Toris stepped back, watching what he had done. Suddenly, the green veins on the stone spire began to glow, the gem atop it shining off a brilliant light into the sky, the appearance of a beacon for something.

Something caught the edge of Toris's eye. It appeared to be a bird of some sort, glittering red in the sky. The bird changed colors, it's red feathers morphing into green. Toris squinted his eyes as it came closer, realizing that it was no bird, and must have been the dragon Feliks had been talking about.

The dragon was a glorious sight as it got closer. Although its scales were generally green, other colors streaked through different scales, reverting back to green after a few seconds. It landed with a large crash, the ground shaking slightly beneath Toris's feet. It was a massive beast, from head to tail the length of three buses, as tall as a tree, and each claw was the size of the central stone in the runes and a small amount of smoke rose from its nostrils and the teeth were sharp as if they could cut through metal like cheese.

The dragon bowed to Toris, who extended a hand to reach it's giant head, his hand the size of the smallest scale. I am Kindralth, last of the dragons, it said, a voice echoing in Toris's head. I am honored to meet the future king of Hitherea.

Toris glanced back at Feliks in shock, who was already approaching Kindralth. "Sup, Kindralth."

Hello, Guardian. It is a pleasure to see you again.

Toris turned to Feliks. "So… he's going to take us to the capital city I take it?"

Toris jumped back as a snarl came from Kindralth, a sound that echoed through the forest. I am a female, if you cannot tell, Kindralth snapped, literally. But, yes, I will take you to the capital.

Kindralth lowered her wing to the ground and Feliks formed a pink set of stairs out of solid energy (Toris still didn't quite understand how that worked) for them both to climb up on. Toris scampered up the dragon's wing and onto her back, Feliks following and making sure he didn't trip or fall off. He sat on a single color changing scale and clung to it, Feliks plopping down next to him.

Are you ready?

"Yes."

Kindralth flapped her wings, causing a portion the forest to bow down to her. She took flight, and they went higher and higher, soaring through the air. It is tradition for a dragon to take the king to Zeyvine, the city, Kindralth explained.

The view was beautiful, especially with Feliks pointing out all of the landmarks and shielding them from the wind. It lasted an hour, and was over before Toris even realized it. Kindralth landed by a city, the exact one from Toris's dreams, which reminded him about Earth.

Earth had been so long ago, and those dreams he had were like a completely different life. He couldn't believe how much changes he had gone through. Just several months ago he had been living with Alfred in their simple house.

Alfred…

Toris and Feliks climbed off of Kindralth, landing on the ground. I must bid you farewell, Toris Laurinaitis, The Last King.

Feliks jumped back in surprise. "Th-the Last King?"

Yes, that is what the Prophet saw as his name, Guardian.

Those were Kindralth's last words to Toris and Feliks at that time, as she took flight and disappeared into the cloudy sky, her glittering scales shining one last time to them.

Feliks glanced at his feet. "I've failed…"

Toris looked back at the Guardian, walking up to him and hugging him. "I'm sure it will be fine Feliks," he said, empty as they were. Feliks knew so much more about the legend of the land and this prophet, whoever they were.

Feliks smiled at him, but it was as empty as his words were. He took Toris's hand, squeezing it tight. "Let's go, Toris."

There was a private chariot waiting for them at the entrance to the city. In order not to get recognized and held up, Toris and Feliks had to wear cloaks. The chariot took them weaving through city streets. Eventually, they reached the castle in the center of the city and stepped out of the chariot.

They were greeted by a man who wore glasses and a long, white, flowing robe and a crown upon his head. Feliks ran up to him and gave him a hug. "Eduard!" he exclaimed with joy.

As soon as Feliks let him go, Eduard adjusted his glasses and greeted Toris with a bow, who hesitantly bowed back to him. Toris couldn't quite help but feel something slightly off about Eduard, as if his young face and confident energy did not suit him. "Ah, yes, I take it you must be Toris Laurinaitis, the current Prince of Ages, aren't you?"

Toris nodded and stuck out his hand, which Eduard eagerly took and shook. "Yes, that is me. And you're Eduard… the king, right?"

Eduard nodded. "Yes, I am Eduard von Bock, the King of Ages and all of Hitherea itself. Come, now, Toris, something tells me we have very little time. And… Feliks? You make yourself comfortable, talk to the servants. I'm sure they'd be willing to do what you ask."

Feliks pouted and sulked off to wherever the servants took him, obeying the king. Eduard lead Toris into the castle, still radiating that unsettling confidence that somehow didn't suit him. They weaved through the complex of the castle, until they came across a large ornate door with letters that spelled out Science.

Eduard pushed open the doors. Inside the door was an even longer hallway with people scurrying back and forth. "I see you had quite a thing for science, your highness," Toris said with a slight laugh. "But when I become king, what happens if I don't want all of this?"

"First of all, don't call me your highness, as we are both royalty here."

"Yes sir."

"Sir?"

"Sorry… Eduard."

"Anyway, the castle will shift depending on what the king wishes for, complicated yellow, blue, and green magic, I was impressed when I found out how it worked, but that's not the reason I've taken you here. I feel like as the future king, you should know a bit about what I have invented and researched, for example, these." Eduard walked into one of the rooms and picked up a set of what looked to be handcuffs. "Completely suppresses all magical activity in someone without doing any permanent damage."

Eduard went on and on about his inventions, while Toris half listened. What an interesting man. More than just a bit of a show off. Eventually, a distressed servant came running up to Eduard.

"S-sir! It's I-Ivan he's here and he needs to see Toris and you and Feliks or he says he'll kill everyone here."

Eduard jumped up, halfway through his explanation of some sort of magic enhancing circle saying that he "hoped Toris could help sell his technology to the world like he always planned to do".

Nodding, Eduard dismissed the messenger. "Come on, Toris, this appears to be urgent."

When Toris and Eduard reached the outside of castle, indeed, Ivan was standing there. He stood out compared to the cheer of the city and castle, different from the rest. Feliks was running from a different side of the castle, barreling into Toris and Eduard, nearly knocking both of them down. "Sorry," he mumbled. "I wasn't watching where I was going.

The moment was interrupted by the sound of Ivan's voice. "I didn't plan on fighting all three of you, but Toris really did have to have that white energy as predicted." A purple glow appeared from around him. "I was knocked out for days. You could have killed me, you know? Well, I suppose you do, but I've been waiting for four thousand years."

Feliks jumped in. "Yeah? Well me too! And you know what? You're totally going down, bitch."

Eduard grabbed Feliks's shoulder. "Not so fast, Feliks," he whispered. "We have to think of a plan." Eduard thought for a second before an idea struck him. "Toris and I will distract him by using the blue/green magic combo while Feliks draws energy from the land to use the ultimate pink magic move."

Feliks nodded, facing Ivan again. "What does that mean?" asked Toris.

"I change his actual thoughts to think he's fighting Feliks. You change his emotions, and that's the combo, however, he's Ivan. He will realize we're tricking him. But, by then, Feliks will have prepared the move to kill him, or at least disable him. I'll then use the magic suppressing handcuffs to imprison him, alright?"

Toris nodded, and Feliks turned to him, and softly but passionately kissed him. "That may be the last time I'll ever be able to do that…" he trailed off, before turning away, leaving Toris on the verge of tears with that realization.

He descended into the realm where thought was reality. He drifted over to Ivan's thoughts, sifting through them, until he saw the place where Eduard was editing the reality of what he experienced. Toris, with all of his focus, bended the emotion, keeping in constantly in motion with what Eduard was showing. Eduard was not wrong, and eventually, Toris did feel Ivan realize and shove him off of his mind, allowing him to return to the physical world.

When Toris opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Feliks, concentrating on a bright, glowing ball of energy cupped in his hand. Ivan had that same lightning shaped snake of black energy coiled around his wrist. Feliks, fully concentrated and with all of his might, whirled the ball at Ivan, just as the darkness leaped off of his hand, and straight at Feliks.

A/N - Ok, this is going to be the second to last chapter of this story other than the epilogue. However, I am planning on a prequel and a sequel eventually coming out. And maybe a chapter explaining all the different types of magic if anyone wants that.

Also, I have to thank the sight / because guess where the name of the dragon and the city came from. BTW great amazing fantabulous sight if anyone wants to use it. 10/10 highly recommend.
