Chapter:

Kasey shed her gloves dropping the tattered and frozen fabric on the body of the centaur.

Of course Luffy would make friends; then enemies with a creature on the fiery side of the island only to have a hoard of them attack on the snow side. She glanced back to the water smiling as she thought of Usopp's green seeds that had made a banana bat and grass leaf oars.

She shivered, the boat had been knocked into the water by cannon fire, Zoro had almost been eaten by a shark and Brook thank his boney ass had showed up in time purely from luck.

She yanked the coat off the fallen Centaur and swept it around her.

"This feels sooo much better" Usopp laughed hugging the coat closer to himself. He paused, "Kasey? you okay?"

She narrowed her eyes, Akainu and Akoji. Both were Marine admiral's she had met through Garp, this was the island they had clashed on. Two Admiral's having it out, something was wrong within the world Government, and the Marines.

"Sis?" Luffy watched his sister's eyes darken.

"Captain-san?" Robin looked between the two siblings.

"She's thinking…" Luffy whispered, "really hard"

Robin gave an exasperated look. before turning a concerned one to Kasey. Their Captain's sister knew something and it was bothering her greatly.

Luffy brightened, "KASEY! THE CROCO-TAUR SAID HE'D GIVE US A RIDE!"

His sister flinched before straightening and turned to look at him, "Oh? well that's good news" she smiled as he laughed jumping on the Boss.

"How degrading"

"Be quiet or Zoro will cut you!" Luffy laughed sitting on his head.

The others looked at Kasey as their 'ride' took off across the snow. She had (without thinking) placed herself directly beside Zoro and was staring down at her hands, Eyes having gone distant again.

Zoro nudged her making her head snap up eyes clearing, "Don't worry" he muttered, "whoever is doing this Luffy can handle him"

She blinked confused before realizing they thought she was stuck on the issue at hand. She swallowed roughly, "yeah...I'm sure he can"

Zoro smirked and she smiled looking back down at her hands, "Here" Zoro dropped fabric on her palms, "can't freeze your hands off if we have to fight"

She nodded chuckling to herself and pulled the gloves on, letting her fingers warm in the fur lining. Her thought's were still far away though.

"OH HEY!"

She lifted her head at her brother's yell, he was waving to someone.

She squinted through the snow and felt her body tense.

"Trafalgar Law"

Robin looked at her, "you know him too?"

"No, He's a shichibukai now" she growled as Luffy jumped off the rush over talking to Law.

"We met him on Sabaody, he saved Luffy's life during the.." Zoro trailed off.

"During the execution, I know; I had a personal fee to the war, Pops wouldn't let me go with them to save Ace" She frowned looking across the snow, and her eyes widened.

"SMOKER!"

Zoro yelled as she leapt off the croco-taur sprinting through the snow.

"Vice admiral?" she dropped reaching out to the man, a square hole went through his torso.

"He got in my way" Law's voice carried over to her, she lifted the marine's head, "His crew is coming back now."

Kasey stared at the vice admiral, he blinked lazily at her.

"Ah! Smoker! and...Kasey?!"

Tashigi slid next to her. She raised her eyes, a distance in them, she dropped the vice admiral and stood stepping back.

"Kasey...why are you here-" Tashigi broke off spotting the pirates, she looked back to Kasey.

"He's got a hole in his chest...I wouldn't recommend those thought's Marine" She stepped back again as Tashigi looked at her superior then glared at Law.

"I'd advise against it. But you won't listen I'm just a pirate"

"Then stay away from us!" Tashigi ran for Law.

The shichibukai sighed raising his hand, Kasey kept her head down. She had read on Law, and his powers; She knew what he was doing.

"Go around back, you'll find what you're looking for back there" Law stated turning his attention to the remaining marines as Tashigi fell.

He looked at Kasey, the woman's expression was empty as she moved away from the Marines. He glanced at Luffy, "Congratulations on the new member, 'Heavyweight' Kasey" Law smirked as the woman pulled herself back up next to Zoro. "She's a good pick" he turned away retreating back inside.

"You know those Marines" Brook looked at her.

Kasey sat stiffly, "What's it matter if I do or not…" she whispered.

Law had gotten to the other crew members it seemed, and had switch everyone around.

Nami was in Franky's body; Franky in Chopper's, Chopper in Sanji's and Sanji was in Nami's.

It was mind numbing to figure out when they found them behind the building, but good to see the crew nonetheless. Even if they had a bunch of odd children with them and the head of the Samurai, which was attached to his legs that Luffy was forced to give up.

Nami tossed cigarette and a lighter to her body making her body smile as Sanji asked if it was okay, before he could light one, Kasey walked over. "Can I bum one?"

Sanji blinked before nodding and she snagged the smoke lighting it and inhaled. Rubbing her temples.

"I thought you quit" Luffy whispered quietly.

"I'm using it to remain calm and sort my thought's Lou, this" she waved to their mismatched friends. "is headache inducing, along with everything that's happened so far"

"you shouldn't ruin your lungs though Kasey-chawn!"

She glared at Sanji, or Nami's body, fucks sake this was going to cause a migraine. "Don't do that its creepy coming from Nami"

"Thank you!"

Kasey groaned turning away to pull another drag, next time she'd face her chances against the marines if shit like this was going to happen.

"Usopp inform everyone of our dealings" she muttered walking over to drop between Robin and Zoro laying back in the snow. She exhaled a plume of off colored smoke, letting it burn the back of her throat.

If Smoker and his group were here, and so was Law….she frowned, Law couldn't have kidnapped these Children. He was weird from what she knew but a kidnapper? not likely. No someone else was behind this building. Someone else was pulling the strings.

She felt her former Marine instincts kick in, mind running through possibilities. Either way; her creeping feeling from earlier still lingered. She blinked as the cigarette was taken from her hands and tossed into the snow, She lifted her head seeing Zoro knock the ice crystal onto the smoke. he glanced at her before turning his attention back to the other.

His hand strayed back, taking her's and gave it a reassuring squeeze before returning to his swords.

She frowned and went back to her thoughts. Who was calling the shot's on this island?
