SO SORRY! It's been a long time since I last updated it but hey, the summer is here and I've got to take advantage, anyway sorry for the wait, I saw my emails and saw a lot of them saying to update and stuff, thanks for the reviews guys, I'm really pumped to get this story going, anyway last chapter saw Link CHEAT on Malon, just to assure you guys, Don't go all MaLink diehard fan on me because... hey anything could happen, I own a few characters but none of the LOZ ones.
Link's POV
Link felt extremely sick in the morning, he was dizzy and confused, unknowingly and enchantment had been cast upon him… the one enchantment no man can resist, I don't love THAT woman! He screamed in his head. He wanted to kill the Link who had said he loved Laelene, did I really say that! He only had eyes for Malon and that was that, something came over me, that's all, I wasn't in a clear state of mind. What a mess! He was going to avoid that woman for as long as he could, he was to escort Leran to Hyrule. It had been two weeks since he first arrived at Kalos; he was ready to go back to Hyrule. He put his clothes and equipped himself with all his items, as he walked he kept getting glances from noblewomen, he saw Laelene at one point, he made eye contact with her, her eyes shone with love but his eyes flashed in annoyance, she could tell Link no longer was the Link he was the previous day, how fast men change she thought, her eyes wandered away sadly and Link nodded in triumph, he asked someone where Leran was, "I think he may be near the library, he enjoys reading"
"Thank you kind sir"
The man was right and Link soon saw Leran in the library reading, he had a sword on him, and Link could tell he was ready to go. "Leran, I think we should set off, you have a horse?"
"Yes I do Link, let's go."
They walked out of the castle and jumped on their respective horses, Link on Epona and Leran on his horse called Bella. "Hyrule is south-east of here" said Link, Leran nodded and they took off. "Leran, what do you think of Zelda?" asked Link casually.
"I think she is a very brave and wonderful woman, she's also very beautiful, the most attractive woman on the planet I daresay" answered Leran. "I don't think I'll have a chance with her though, she probably has someone on her mind anyway" he sighed with discontentment.
Link shook his head in disagreement, "I'm sure you two will be great friends, you'll see" said Link encouragingly. Leran nodded but he still doubted it, they reached the border between Kalos and the gerudos, "this is where the gerudos live, in Hyrule there are many races, the diversity is what makes Hyrule unique" said Link proudly. Leran nodded in agreement, he thought Hyrule as much better than Kalos, "such a range of environments and the many races of Hyrule just knit the place into one perfect kingdom" he said in awe as they passed death mountain, after a bit more sightseeing Link led Leran to castle town, "it's smaller than the grand castle in Kalos" said Link, but Leran shook his head,
"But it's so much more unique and the people here are so much more happier together, not like the different classes such as noblemen and women, here everyone seems to get along and there's no judging via rank" he replied. Link hadn't thought of it like that, to him quantity was just as important as quality but how the people react hadn't got to Link, he put that piece of information away in his mind, "here is the castle" said Link, Leran observed it carefully and nodded in appreciation, he liked this castle more than his father's. "Stop" said a guard and put his spear in front of Leran, Link put his hand up and explained that he was a prince from another kingdom called Kalos, the guard quickly amended his error and let them through, albeit awkwardly. "Zelda this is a prince from a kingdom called Kalos, I've brought him here to meet you, I hope you two can be friends" Link said.
Zelda's POV
Oh no! It's been three weeks since the physician announced I was pregnant, it's obvious now! "His name is Leran" added Link.
"Link, I need to speak with you in private, than I can talk to Prince Leran" said Zelda in a rush; she quickly went to her room still facing her back towards them. Link looked at Leran apologetically, Leran nodded in understanding, "I'll wait, Link" he said calmly. Link clasped his hands gratefully and took off after Zelda. He followed Zelda until they reached her private lounge and then finally Zelda turned around.
Link's POV
He stared at her, looking at her body which looked like it had gained a few pounds. "What have you been eating Zelda" he asked amusingly. Zelda looked at him with exasperation, he hadn't realised that she was pregnant. "No Link, I haven't gained any weight" she said calmly, Link looked confused, "but your-"he didn't know how to finish. Then why is she so… Then realisation dawned on him, a horrified look came across his face, "whose is it then" he said quietly. Zelda looked apologetically at Link, then she took the plunge. "It's yours Link."
