Well its been awhile, but hopefully some of you are still waiting for more of this. Here's a bit to tide you over, as I had a lull in my other work. I'm planning on writing more soon, but I am getting a PS4 tomorrow so... anyway, here's chapter 11!

A day after the rally, Wally is getting ready to leave the school as Alfred is trying to stop him. "I assure you that Mr. Kent is fine, Wally," the Englishman reassures the boy.

"No offense professor, but I haven't heard the best things about the GCPD," the fastest human on Earth answers back. "Don't worry, I'll be in and out, and no one will ever even see us."

"Wally, the last thing we need is to come under the attention of the police..." Alfred tries to explain as the young mutant opens the door. Fortunately for all involved, Clark is on the other side and was about to walk through.

"Clark! You alright man?" Wally asks, after giving his friend a surprising and yet not unwelcome hug.

"I'm getting there," he answers.

"How did the police treat you, my boy?" Alfred asks.

"Oh they were fine, they just made be wait forever before actually questioning me," Clark explains. "General Lane however, reacted to me exactly like Lois said he would."

"Hated you instantly?" Wally asks.

"Oh yeah," Clark answers, shivering a bit at the thought. "Don't tell John, but I think I might have a phobia of the color green. And military officers."

The three walk into the kitchen to find the rest of the students having breakfast, looking different flavors of miserable until Clark walks in. "I told you he'd be fine," Bruce says, handing the boy from Kansas a cup of coffee.

"Thanks for the confidence," Clark tells him, before taking a long sip.

"I'm glad you made it out of there Clark, but we still have to worry about those crazy bastards running around," John says, earning a look from Mr. Pennyworth. "Um...sorry, professor."

"Maybe Batman will be able to handle them," Shayera says, getting an interesting look from both Diana and Alfred.

"Batman?" Alfred asks.

"Yeah, haven't you heard of him? He's this new superhero who's appeared in Gotham. They say he can fly, disappear, turn into bats, he's like a real Avenger level bad ass!" Wally excitedly explains.

"Fascinating. When did reports of this Batman start to appear?" the professor asks.

"Not long ago," Diana answers, throwing a discrete look over at Bruce.

"Well according to all of your stories, there are at least four of these powerful mutant criminals working together," the professor says. "So I should hope that this Batman, whoever he is, has some help." With that, Alfred leaves his students to their meal and their thoughts.

Once he leaves, Wally looks around at his friends and says, "Guys...I think we should do this."

"Do what?" Diana asks.

"Go out there and help Batman capture these guys," he explains.

"You mean like superheroes? I don't know, I think that might be a bit too big for us," Clark says.

"Clark, you're like a flying tank! You could save people just by standing in front of them and watching bullets bounce off your pecks," Diana tells him. "You were practically born to be a superhero."

"I don't think we should get involved with this, its a serious police matter," John says.

"No, I think Wally's right!" Shayera says. "We're practically X Men already, and we all can kick a serious amount of culo when we want to. Come on John, most of the big guys didn't start out like Captain America, hell even that old jerk on TV still calls Spider-Man a 'menace'."

John thinks on what she says, then looks over at the silent Bruce. "What do you think about this idea?" he asks him.

"I think...that its something to consider at least," Bruce tells him, before going back to his coffee.

Later that night, Bruce walks into the cave to find Diana standing there, waiting for him. "Need something, Princess?" he asks her.

"No you do. You need help," she tells him.

"What kind of help are you offering?" he asks, walking up to her.

"Help out there, to take down this mutant gang," Diana explains.

"Well, in that case, you're gong to need a costume," Bruce says, before leading her over to a wall. On the wall is a case holding his batsuit. Once there he hits a button and the suite slides away in the wall to reveal another costume, this one resembling the one that Bruce had drawn for Diana before, only with the black on her top and her boots replaced with red.

"Wow, you do good work," Diana admits. "Wait, how did you know my measurements?"

"We all have out talents," Bruce answers with a slight smirk. "You were right though, the red does look better."

"Yes it does. I'm not sure about the mask though," she says, giving that part of her costume a sideways look.

"The mask is nonnegotiable," Bruce tells her. "Now lets get dressed, we've got a long night on the town ahead of us," he says, before walking away.

"Um...how do I get it out of there?" Diana asks.

Late at night, Alfred Pennyworth sits in his office and dials up one of his closest friends. Eventually his computer screen shows the smiling bald head of Charles Xavier. "You're too much of a gentleman to make a social call at this late hour, whats the trouble Alfred?" he asks.

"Something big is happening in my town. A Gang of mutants have come out and threatened the lives of Luther and Lane, and a new dark super hero has come out in recent nights. The former I've seen in my visions, the later, inconceivably, I have not,"Alfred explains.

"Your powers are not perfect Alfred, things...sometimes important things have happened without your powers giving you for notice of the events," Charles tells him.

"My powers have grown over the years, I should have gotten notice of someone so influential to my home city appearing. Something is not making sense," the Englishman explains.

"What can I do to help? Do you need the X Men?" Charles asks.

"No. Not yet at least. I would like it if you gave me a reading, just to make sure that nothing is interfering with my powers," Alfred says.

"Come by tomorrow, and I'll take a look at you. Until then, get some sleep," Charles tells him.

"Good night," he answers, and then the two hang up until tomorrow.
