And here we go, the moment some of you have been waiting for, and I have a feeling that it's gonna be good, so to those who have been following this story, I hope that the fact theirs only one chapter left of the first movie after this one.

Ch.11 Dance Offs and Guardians

Ben was struggling to get up at the moment, but the pop music was keeping him from going unconscious. He then looked over and saw Rocket kneeled over by what was left of Groot, a bunch of sticks.

"I called him an idiot." Rocket said mainly to himself as he held a couple sticks. Ben put his hand on the raccoons back to comfort him, and then he noticed civilians approaching them, he then saw their facial expressions change. Both him and Rocket turned arround to see Ronin approach.

"You killed Groot!" Rocket snarled at the Kree as he charged him, only to get blasted away by the infinity stone. Ben struggled to get up, and then in a flash of green he was as Swampfire and launched several fireballs at him, he got blasted the same direction as Rocket and Drax.

"Behold, your guardians of the galaxy." Ronin motioned to the them. "What fruit have they wrought?" As Ronin was monologuing, Swampfire and Rocket looked up, they noticed the Hadron Enforcer just laying there, Rocket quickly got to work, Swampfire changed into Upgrade, and Drax was started to stir.

They then notice just as Ronin was about to slam his hammer into the ground, Peter started dancing and slightly singing.

"What are you doing?" Ronin asked confused.

"Dance-off bro, you and me," Peter replied as he danced.

"What the hell is he doing?" Upgrade asked as he watched him confused.

"He's giving us time, let's use it," Rocket said as he kept on tinkering. "Drax take the enforcer, Upgrade fuse it." Drax and Upgrade quickly got ready and with Upgrade's upgrades, the Hadron Enforcer was a lot easier to use.

"What are you doing?" They heard Ronin ask Peter in disgust.

"I'm distracting yoy, you big turd blossom." Peter responded.

Ronin then turned to look at them, but it was to late, and they fire the weapon, it blew up the hammer, and as the stone was falling towards the ground, Peter grabbed it, just as Gamora was yelling no at him.

Once Peter grabbed it, the force made everyone fall back, and they all heard him screaming, but he was somehow managing to keep ahold of the stone and not die, yet his skin started falling off. "Peter! Take my hand!" Gamora yelled, making Peter look over at her for a moment. "Take my hand!" she yelled again. Peter then seemed to reach out to her and took her hand, letting the power flow through her aswell. Drax then made his way over to them and place his hand on Peter's shoulder, his vains glowing purple from the power. Rocket then reached over and grabbed Drax's finger and he let the power flow through him aswell. Finally, Ben made it over and place his hand on Gamora's shoulder, letting the power flow through him also.

After Ben grabbed on, the energy of the stone seemed to stabilize and they all looked normal again. "Your mortal! How?" Ronin said in disbelief.

"You said it yourself bitch," Peter started.

"We're the Guardians of the Galaxy," Ben finished as Peter let the power of the stone take out Ronin and end him. Peter and Gamora then acted quickly as they encased the stone. Once the stone was encased, the little storm around them gave way, leaving them all catching their breath.

As they were, they heard an all to familiar voice. "Well, well, well." they turned to see Yondu and the surviving Ravagers. Quite the light show. Ain't this sweet, but you got some business to attend to before all the nookie-nookie starts."

You're can't be serious right?" Ben asked him.

"Peter, you can't. Peter." Gamora said to the former Ravager.

"You gotta reconsider this, Yondu." Peter said to his father figure. "I don't know who you're selling this to, but the only way the universe can survive is if yoh give it to the Nova Corps."

"I may be as pretty as an angel, but I sure as hell ain't one." Yondu said, Ben had to hold himself back from laughing at that statement. "Hand it over, son." Yondu said to Peter as he held his hand out.

Peter reluctantly handed it to him, and as the Ravagers were about to walk off, Peter called out to him. "Yondu." he said making the pirate turn around. "Do not open that Orb. You know that, right? You've seen what it does to people." Yondu just gave him a smile before walking off.

Ben then asked him the obvious question. "You switched out the orbs, did you?"

"How can you tell?" Peter said as he was caught by surprise.

"Remember, former best friend was a pirate aswell." Ben told him. When they watched them take off, Peter took out the real Orb. "He is gonna be so pissed when he realizes I switched out the Orb on him." he said.

"Yep." Ben agreed.

Gamora chuckled. "He was gonna kill you, Peter."

"Oh, I know. But he was about the only family I had." Peter said.

"No. He wasn't." Gamora said as she took his hand.

"You got us now," Ben told him before he looked over towards Rocket. Rocket was crying over Groot's remains before Drax walked over to him, and started to comfort him by petting him, making Rocket sigh.

Well, that is done, next chapter will be the last until I get Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. I've been getting comments on that I should pair Ben with Mantis. I'll put into consideration. Also the third arc I have planned, that takes place two years after Vol. 2 and in Ben's universe is gonna be called Guardians of the Omniverse, that'll be the arcs name anyway.
