Katerina went into a maze and found a poison barb. She even went left then straight to find a trainer noticing her.
Preschooler Mia would like to battle. Budew lv9 gets sent out. Katerina sends out pikachu lv7.
"No! Not you!" says Katerina and puts Pikachu back in ball, "Where are you Combee?"
Combee shows up with honey and sees a trainer. Katerina gets a jar out of her nap sack.
"Put it in here!" says Katerina.
Combee tips a little and the honey drips into the jar until all of it was in the jar.
"Ahem! Can we battle! Its not snack time!" says Mia.
"I was hoping for a break but I guess that wont happen!" sighs Katerina.
"Lets just battle! battling is fun!" says Mia.
"Says you!" says Katerina.
"Grrrrr Budew water sport!" says Mia. Budew uses water sport. Fire power is weakened.
"Combee you hypnotise people with honey which I shouldnt even have honey on me then but i want you to battle budew." says Katerina.
Combee just floats there smiling.
"Combee gust!" says Katerina.
Combee turns around facing Budew and uses gust.
Budews hp goes down to yellow. Budew uses water sport. Fire power is weakened.
"Combee gust again!" says Katerina.
Combee uses gust! Budew faints.
Combee gains 108 exp points leveling up to 7.
"Cmon! No fairsees! You werent supposed to win!" says Mia and left leaving $144.
"Awesome job Combee!" says Katerina.
Combee spins around in the air happily.
Katerina follows the maze to a trainer.
Gardner Grover wants to battle. Corphish lv 10 gets sent out. Katerina sends out combee.
"Combee gust!" says Katerina.
Combee uses gust on Corphish. Corphish's hp goes down a bit still green.
"Not bad! I guess!" says Katerina.
Combee spins around happily. Corfish uses vise grip. Combee's hp went down to yellow.
"Grrrr gust!" says Katerina.
Combee uses gust. Corphish's hp goes down a bit more but still green. Corphish uses bubble. Combee's hp goes down to barely red.
"Aww cmon! Fine then!" says Katerina sending Combee back into its pokeball and sends out Pansage.
"Sage!" says Pansage.
"Vine whip!" says Katerina.
Pansage uses vine whip on Corphish. Corphish faints. Combee gains 132 exp points. Pansage gains 132 exp points. Combee levels up to 8.
"I think im getting the hang of this!" says Katerina.
"I'm a pro at gardens! You're a pro when it comes to pokemon!" says Grover and left leaving $64.
Katerina went to her left and found a net ball then walked every which way in the maze only to bump into yet another trainer. (jeez!)
Preschooler Adrian wants to battle. Magikarp lv9 gets sent out. Katerina sent out combee lv8.
"A lame pokemon...you got a lame pokemon...thats sad." says Katerina.
"Butt out!" says Adrian.
"Combee gust." says Katerina.
Combee uses gust. Magikarp's hp went down to a bit above red. Magikarp uses splash. It doesnt do anything.
"Ok...use gust!" says Katerina, a sweat drop coming down the back of her head.
Combee uses gust. Magikarp faints. Combee gains 76 exp points.
"splash...splash...splish...splash...splosh..." says Adrian and left leaving $144.
Katerina walks around some more when a gardener walked up to her.
Gardener Fabian wants to battle. Corphish lv10 gets sent out. Katerina sends out Pansage lv15.
"Pansage use vine whip." says Katerina. Pansage vine whips Corphish.
Corphish's hp goes down to barely red. Corphish used vice grip. Pansages hp went down a bit but still green.
"Vine whip" says Katerina.
Pansage uses vine whip. Corphish faints. Pansage gains 132 exp points.
"Looks like the combination with your pokemon are even more honed than mine!" says Fabian and left leaving $640.
Katerina goes through the maze and finds a ether. Katerina gets out of the maze and into lumoise city.
"Ahhhh Lumoise city...nice to be back from when sycamore gave me my pokemon! Sadly it isnt as fun as I thought it would be." says Katerina.
Katerina looks around as she walks around only to find sycamores lab and goes in. She enters the lab and heads to 3rd floor.
"Hey sycamore!" says Katerina and looks behind Sycamore to see a boy, "Who is he?"
"Katerina this is Calem! He was supposed to arrive when Serena did!" says Sycamore.
"Not my fault! I lost track of time! Before I knew it everyone got their pokemon and i didnt want what was left over so here I am now hehe..." says Calem.
"Uhhh huh...I see." says Katerina.
"Calem! I just have one thing to say!" says Sycamore. Calem and Katerina were confused.
"Ready to battle?" wonders Sycamore.
"Me battle you? Wha...?" wonders Calem.
"Yes you battle me! Do you have any pokemon?" wonders Sycamore.
"If Serena has a Fenniken then I would have Chespin and others along the way!" says Calem.
Katerina sits on the floor and watches.
"Ahhhhh rest...finally!" says Katerina and sends her pokemon out so they can watch too.
"Sycamore can I have some pokefood?" wonders Katerina.
"Sure!" says Sycamore and sets grass type food down for Pansage(got while training for the 1st gym), fire type food down for Charmander, normal type pokefood down for Bunnelby, bug type food for Butterfree and Combee, and electric pokefood down for Pikachu. For Ralts, a psychic/fairy type, who decided to follow Katerina gets fairy type pokefood?
"Thanks!" says Katerina.
"No prob! Ash and friends should be close by now! Though I never expected you to show up here." says Sycamore.
"Ahem!" says Calem tapping his foot.
"Ahh the battle! Ready?" says Sycamore.
"As ill ever be!" says Calem.
Sycamore challenges Calem. Sycamore sent out bulbasaur lv10. Calem sent out out Chespin lv14. Chespin uses bite. Bulbasaur's hp goes down quite a bit but still green. Bulbasaur flinched. Chespin bites Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur's hp goes down to red. Bulbasaur used vine whip. Its not very effective. Chespin bites Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur faints. Chespin gains 136 exp points and leveled up to 15. Chespin forgot tackle and learned leech seed. the rest of calem's pokemon gain 136 exp points thanks to exp share.
Professor Sycamore sends out Charmander lv10. Katerina was getting annoyed about the fact he was using kanto pokemon yet he didnt have any when she was around. Calem switches Chespin for Pikachu lv8.
"He has a pikachu too! Awesome!" says Katerina.
Charmander uses smokescreen. Pikachus accuracy fell. Pikachu uses thundershock. Charmander dodged and used scratch. Pikachus hp went down a bit but still green. Pikachu uses thunder shock. Charmander's hp goes down a bit but still green.
"Wow..." says Calem.
Charmander used ember. Pikachu's hp went down to red. Pikachu angrily used thundershock. Charmander's hp went down to a bit over yellow. Calem switches Pikachu for Braixen lv16. Charmander uses ember. Its not very effective. Braixen uses scratch. Charmanders hp goes down to barely red. Charmander growls. Braixens attack fell. Braixen used scratch. Charmander faints. Braixen and Pikachu gained 198 exp points. Pikachu leveled up to 9. the rest of the team gained the exp points via exp share. Pidgey leveled up to 11. Torchic grew to lv14.
Sycamore sends out Squirtle lv10. Calem switches Braixen lv17 for Chespin lv15. Chespin uses vine whip. Squirtle faints. Chespin gains 135 exp points. The rest of the team gain exp points via exp share.
"Haha! You really are too much for me! You are really something arent you?" says Sycamore impressed.
Calem received $1,400.
"Thats alot of money! well...maybe not alot but still!" says Katerina. "Ahhh ya!" says Calem thrusting his fist in the air.
"I think I've figured it out!" says Sycamore.
Calem was confused.
"Figured what out?" wonders Katerina licking the spoon filled with honey.
"Calem you are an interesting kid indeed! Would you like another pokemon?" Wonders Sycamore.
Katerina was shocked and appalled.
"Say what now?" wonders Katerina.
"Two starters? Oh my gosh. Yes!" says Calem and chooses Charmander.
"Ummmm...he got a Charmander like I did!" says Katerina lost by whats going on.
"Katerina what kind of honey is that?" wonders Sycamore.
"My combee got it as a snack to hold me over!" says Katerina.
"You need to think more then do..." says Sycamore.
"I know! Honey makes us crazy...but it so yummy!" says Katerina.
"Well atleast you took a bit of honey!" says Sycamore.
Katerina giggles.
"Want another starter?" wonders Sycamore.
"But i thought..." says Katerina.
"I just got Kanto pokemon thats why its confusing suddenly!" says Sycamore.
"Not only that but two starters...thats something you dont hear everyday." says Katerina.
"Do you or not? Your choice." says Sycamore.
"A...another starter? OK!" says Katerina.
Sycamore sends out the kalos starters.
Katerina hugs Fenniken.
"I want this one!" says Katerina.
"Alrighty! Charmander for Calem and Fenniken for Katerina!" says Sycamore handing them their pokemon.
"Off i go to the next gym!" says Calem leaving the lab.
