Hi everyone and welcome to the next chapter! I know it's only been a couple of days since my last update, but I got hit by a burst of inspiration and just had to write!

First of all, I would love to thank the Guest that took some time to review! Firstly, it means so much to me that you took the time to review, second of all, let's answer some of those questions you have! The reason Fred hasn't had a lot of parts with Sav in the last couple of chapters, is because it is all leading up to something at the end! Yes, Sav is very oblivious to the fact that Fred likes her, but I assure you, everything I write, I write for a reason! Haha, I don't think it is very flirtatious, I just think it's a sweet little nickname! I love that you love my story, but please stick behind your belief and also stick with this story! Everything will play out, I promise you ;)

This chapter, is also dedicated to you, as it was your review that gave me the inspiration I needed to smash out this chapter!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. The only thing I own is the plot, the OC's you will be introduced to throughout the book and on occasion Oliver Wood and Fred Weasley, because they're just so hot! All known characters, that are not OC's belong to the wonderful woman J.K Rowling.

Thanks and enjoy this chapter!

Chapter Eleven - Homerun

Sav

It was chaos at Hogsmeade station as students filtered through the crowds in a desperate attempt to jump on the Hogwarts Express and back to their families. I was anxious. There was absolutely no doubt about that. I had written to my parents around three days ago with the proposal of Oliver staying with us for the new year and having me stay with him and his parents over Christmas.

They had written back pretty much immediately and to say I was too nervous to open the letter, was an understatement. I eventually told Angelina to open it, because I didn't want to read the words they had written. It was a fifty-fifty chance that they had rejected my idea, but I ended up running around my room in pure joy.

"Vannah," Oliver's voice ripped me out of my memories and I shook my head to clear any lingering thoughts.

"Yes?" I asked as I looked to see his concerned face. "What is it?" My tone changed slightly as his eyes wondered over my shoulder. I turned around to see Fred and George standing with Percy and Charlie. "I'll be right back, ok?" I smiled as I felt excitement course through my veins.

Even as I thought about the twins, I could practically feel the bond that I had with them course through me. I guess you could practically call us triplets! That was the kind of bond that I had with them. They made the mischief that was deep down inside of me to come up to the surface.

"Fred!" I called out as I raced toward him, but I was hurt when he looked at me and then looked away again. George however looked ecstatic to see me, but he also looked hurt about the way his brother was acting.

"Fred?" Charlie asked as he looked down at his younger brother. Fred looked to Charlie and smiled a small smile that didn't reach his eyes and that was definitely out of character for him.

"What's wrong with Fred, Georgie?" I asked as I couldn't help but feel like his behaviour was somehow my fault. I looked down at the ground and rubbed the tip of my shoe into the brown clumps of mud that littered the pavements.

"I don't know, he's been this way since Oliver asked you to spend Christmas with him really. I think he might be a bit jealous, because he was planning on asking you to stay with us," he replied as he looked over worriedly at his twin. I felt my insides sink at George's words and I instantly felt compelled to make everything better.

"Hey Fred!" I cried out as I pounced on the eldest twin.

"Savannah," he spat as venom laced his voice. The way he said my name was definitely a knife to the heart. I hid the fact that it had hurt a lot more than I let on, but I wasn't going to stop until he realised that I was going to try harder.

"Just thought I would let you know that I can stay with you for a few nights over the Christmas break!" I chirped happily as I watched his brown eyes lit up with curiosity. I knew ways to make the boys forgive me. Growing up with Christian had taught me that much.

"What about Oliver?" He asked as he looked over my shoulder to the older Gryffindor boy.

"I'm staying with him until Christmas and then he's staying with me from New Year's Eve until the end of break. So I have all that time in the middle just floating around, not doing anything. Did you not want me to stay?" I asked sadly as I puffed out my bottom lip. I added a slight quiver to really sell it.

"Of course I do!" He cried out as he launched toward me, picked me up and then spun me around in a circle. I was glad that he was sort of back to his old self, but that didn't mean I wouldn't stop trying to make things right. He set me back down on the ground, but didn't remove his arms from around my waist.

"Will you sit with us on the train? I want to really catch up with everyone before break, make sure I didn't miss anything!" I smiled as I looked at him with the eyes I knew he couldn't resist. He smiled gently at me before nodding gently.

I jumped up and down to show my excitement and watched in satisfaction as Fred failed to hide the grin that formed on his face.

"You're crazy, you know that right?" He asked as he looked at me while I bounced on the balls of my feet like a child who had just learnt about something exciting.

"But that's why I'm your best friend," I winked as I twirled around in a small circle. George let out a loud laugh and picked up his trunk.

"Come on you two, we should get on the train before it leaves without us!" Fred nodded in agreement and I shrugged my shoulders.

"My bags are already on, I was waiting for you two!" I laughed as I started to make my way back to the Hogwarts Express and where Oliver was patiently waiting for us.

He looked pleased to see me smiling and the fact that I had gotten both of the twins to follow behind me. It was good to have Fred and George by my side again and I had to make myself a promise. My promise to myself is that I will try harder with Fred and George. Spend more time with them, help them when they need me and definitely not to rub my successful grades in their faces. The last part was a joke if it wasn't obvious?

"Vannah?" Oliver asked as we got closer and closer to the carriages that would lead us back to platform nine and three quarters. "Is everything ok?" He asked as he looked between Fred, George and myself.

"Everything's fine Ollie," I began as I looked behind me to see Fred looking like his normal self. "Everything is just fine," I smiled before I took his hand as he helped me up into the carriage.

This was going to be the start of the greatest break ever.

The train was packed when we finally found a compartment that the girls had saved for us.

"Oh my lord, was there this many people on the way to school?" I asked as I plopped down on one of the seats. Fred sat down next to me, with George on his other side and Oliver sat down on my other side.

I looked out the window to see Christian as he loaded his bags onto the train. Why I didn't see Eleanor, I didn't know, but I did find it strange. They were hardly apart.

"Ollie, where's Ellie?" I asked as I pointed at my brother. Oliver turned his attention to where I had pointed and saw Christian by his lonesome.

"She's probably doing her prefect duties. She's spending Christmas with Christian and your parents though. Pretty much a reverse tactic, I guess," Oliver trailed off as he saw something. I don't know what he saw, but by the look on his face, it wasn't good.

"So Sav, are you absolutely certain of staying with us on Christmas break?" George asked as he sat down in front of me.

"Of course, Georgie! I wouldn't have it any other way would I?" I asked cheekily as I made myself comfortable for the long train ride back to King's Cross Station.

"Just making sure, our house can get a little over the top sometimes," Fred blushed as he rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"Come on guys! It's going to be great! Just you wait and see!" I cried out as I pulled my knapsack off of the bag-racks that were on the wall of the compartment.

"Of course it is, we get to spend time with you!" They cried out as I reached in to my knapsack and pulled out some exploding snap.

"Anyone for a game?" I asked as I pulled the cards out of its packet.

"Sure!" Fred and George cried out in unison and Oliver smiled before he nodded gently.

"How come you're not visiting us on the Christmas break Sav?" Angelina asked as she gestured to Alicia and Katie.

"Come on guys, you've had me all to yourselves in the dorms, it's their turn now," I smiled as I poked my tongue out in their direction.

"Fine, fine, they can have you, but when you get back we are so having a girl day!" Angelina yelled while Alicia and Katie nodded in agreement.

I looked around the compartment at all my friends and I found it to be true. If I never went to Hogwarts, I would have never met any of these amazing people. I believed that they would stay my friends for a long time to come.

Platform nine and three quarters was a chaotic nightmare, much the same as Hogsmeade Station. I looped my fingers through Oliver's and was stunned when I saw a light red colour rush across his cheeks. Was he blushing? It took everything in me not to laugh or blush in return, but my attention was soon taken away from Oliver and focused solely on Fred and George.

I grasped Fred's hand and tugged him away from the Hogwarts Express and to my side and watched in satisfaction as he smiled the smile he knew I loved. I hated seeing anyone upset, I hated even being upset. It just went against my sunny, happy-go-lucky demeanour.

Oliver started to walk through the mass of children as they hugged their parents until we broke out and made our way toward two people. The man was well built and tan. His hazel eyes scanned the crowd for his children as his arm snaked around the woman's waist. The woman in question had fare skin, but the same fiery red hair as Eleanor. Her emerald green eyes weren't as bright as Ellie's, but they were still green enough to rival the Scottish mountains.

"Mum, Dad!" Oliver's voice was thick with excitement as he pulled us all forward toward his parents.

"Oliver!" His mother cried as Oliver dropped my hands and gave his mother a hug. He turned his father and shook his hand before he turned his attention to me.

"Mother, Father, I would like to introduce Savannah Chambers, Fred Weasley and his twin brother, George," Oliver's eyes looked warm with happiness and I knew that he was excited to start the Christmas break.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, thank you for letting me stay over Christmas," I said politely, as my mother would have my head if I wasn't polite to them, after they had opened their home to me.

"Oh it's no problem sweetheart. To be honest, it's nice to put a name to the face. Oliver talks to you quite a bit you know," his mother was very sweet and I laughed at the mere mention of Oliver talking about me all the time.

"Mum!" Oliver cried out in sheer embarrassment as the red that had tinged his cheeks before was back.

"Oh, Oliver, you know I'm only teasing," his mother replied as she turned her attention back to me. "My name is Olivia and this is my husband , Craig," the man in question turned his stare to me and to be honest, I was petrified. His stare was enough to make me quake in his boots. I don't think I wanted to get on his bad side.

"Nice to meet you, Savannah," he smiled as he looked down at me. Even though his stare was enough to make me want to run away and hide in my trunk, he actually sounded very nice.

"We just wanted to see Eleanor before she went with Christian and then we'll be off," Olivia smiled before she turned to the massive crowds of children.

"Ellie!" Craig cried out as he spotted his daughter's outrageous red hair.

"Hi Dad, Mum!" She cried as she hugged them both. Christian stood awkwardly behind her, almost as if he had done something wrong again. That's when I noticed it. The look Craig gave to Christian was enough to turn someone into stone like Medusa. I looked between them and the message I got was the only message that a father would pass down to a boy who wanted to date his daughter. 'Hurt her and I will make sure you never see the light of day again'.

"Christian," I whispered as I let go of Ollie's and Fred's hands and walked over to my brother. I gave him a quick hug in farewell and watched in amusement as Olivia and Craig looked very, very confused.

"How do you know Christian?" Olivia asked as she pointed between the two of us.

"Christian is my older brother," I replied honestly as Christian wrapped an arm around my shoulders. To comfort myself or him, I couldn't be sure. All I knew is that I was possibly shaking underneath the gaze of the two elder Wood's.

"Elle, I hate to interrupt, but we have to go if we want to get there in time," Christian whispered as he watched her sigh slightly before hugging both her parents one final time.

"Is she your girlfriend yet?" I whispered in his ear and smiled in satisfaction when I saw the tips of his ears turn a bright red. I had succeeded in embarrassing my older brother. But hey, it was only fair right? After everything that he had put me through, my entire life, now was the time that I got some payback. After all, it's all fair in love and war.

"We'd better be going as well," I heard Fred's disappointed voice come from behind me and I turned my attention to my two favourite twins.

"I'm going to miss you guys," I whispered as I walked over to them both. I pulled them both into a group hug and stood there for what felt like minutes, but in reality was probably only ten seconds.

When we pulled away George smiled down at me before pressing a light kiss to my forehead.

"See you later, alligator. You're gonna love the Burrow, just you wait and see," he whispered before he turned away from me and his brother.

"Promise me that you'll be careful over there, Savy-Pie," Fred whispered as he tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Are you okay Freddie?" I asked, as I looked deep into his burnt umber coloured eyes.

"I care about you, I'm not going to deny that. Probably more than I care for anyone and I just don't want you to get hurt," he replied as he looked deep into my sapphire blue eyes.

"She won't," Oliver's voice sounded from behind me and when I spun around to look at him, was astounded at the fierce look in his eyes.

"Ollie?" I asked as I looked between them. You can only imagine my shock to see the look in Oliver's eyes reflected in Fred's. "Okay, what the hell is going on between you two!?" I yelled as I watched Fred's eyes gentle when he turned his attention to me.

"Nothing, have a good Christmas Savy," Fred whispered as he placed a hand on the back of my head and pulled me closer so he could press a light kiss on the top of my head, much like his sibling had done just moments ago.

"Savannah?" Eleanor's voice sounded from behind me and she handed me a piece of parchment. "Open this when you are alone," she whispered so Christian, Oliver and his parents, couldn't hear. I nodded in response as I took the note and tucked it away into my pocket. Yes, I was curious to see what was on it, but Eleanor had just given me strict instructions. Maybe it was personal? That had to be it.

"Let's go," Oliver's voice was right next to me and it took everything in me not to start. What had just gone down between my two best friends? Was it something I should be concerned about? What was it they were fighting over? It couldn't be me, could it?

The way to Oliver's was a little quiet. It was probably my fault, but I couldn't help it! The looks they had exchanged, it chilled me to the core. I hated it when people fought and I hated it even more when it was people I was close to.

We finally reached our destination. Before my eyes was an entire hall of fireplaces as they lined the walls. Where were we?

"Ollie?" I asked, unsure and very confused about what we were supposed to do.

"Have you never travelled by floo powder before?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows in question. I shook my head from side to side and raised a finger to my lips to chew on.

"It's simple, you just take a handful of the powder, step into the fireplace and then say where you want to go, very clearly otherwise who knows where you'll end up!" Oliver laughed but then stopped when he saw the outraged and petrified look on my face.

"Who knows where you'll end up?!" I repeated as my eyes darted around the room.

"It's ok, I'll go first ok?" He replied gently as he took some powder from the sack his mother held out for him. He stepped into the fireplace and watched as he rose his hand up in front of him.

"Wood Manor!" He yelled as he threw the powder down at his feet. It's what came next that made me jump in fright. Green flames erupted from the floor and engulfed Oliver's form. Three seconds passed before he completely vanished from sight.

"Now Savannah, you have to say, 'Wood Manor' very, very clearly. Do you understand?" Olivia asked before she held the sack out to me. I nodded and reached in for the powder.

I stepped into the fireplace and to be honest I was scared out of my wits. This wasn't going to be an easy trip.

"Wood Manor!" I cried out as I threw the powder down on my feet. I closed my eyes just as I saw the green flames and the sight before me vanish before my eyes.

It was about five seconds after I had thrown the powder, I tumbled out into the living room of the manor. I looked up and coughed slightly.

I saw Oliver standing to the side, patiently awaiting my arrival. He walked towards me and held out his hand. I took it generously as he hauled me up to my feet.

"Merry Christmas, Vannah," he whispered as he pressed a light kiss to my temple. This was going to be a very long holiday.

All well, I guess it was time for the homerun.

I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter, the drama and the fact that Sav is finally starting to catch on! How'd you like that?! Please take a few minutes to review, even if it just says, "Please Update" or "I love this!" Those reviews encourage me to write faster! Happy New Year! Until next time!
