Abigail…Chapter 11
Abby moaned. "EJ?"
His lips were pressed up against her neck.
She could feel him pulling and licking on her skin.
She called out to him again. "EJ?"
He looked up. "We should take this upstairs?" He answered before she could. "I agree."
He started taking the stairs two at a time.
"EJ, don't you think we're moving too fast?"
"Heavens no."
He stopped by Elena's room still carrying Abby.
Elena was sleeping peacefully.
EJ and Abby looked down at her.
EJ kissed Abby on the cheek. "She is my greatest joy. Absolutely greatest joy."
He carried Abby out of the room, and next door to her room.
He placed her on the bed and started unbuttoning his shirt.
Abby sat up. "EJ, don't you think we should wait?"
"What are we waiting for?"
"Because you just broke up with your wife today."
"Abigail, I feel like we've had this conversation before. At the hotel to be exact."
"And we know what happened after that, she came back."
He removed his shirt. "Well, that's not going to happen."
"How do you know?"
EJ smiled and removed his shirt. "Because I'll be here."
"EJ, even if it is really over. I...feel bad...doing this so soon."
He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "If the roles were reversed, Samantha would not feel bad for you."
"Maybe, not, but I'm not Sami."
He kissed her lips. "No, you're not."
"EJ, I just want to do the right thing, because I haven't done it, where you are concerned."
"The right thing has already happened, Samantha and I have parted ways."
He kicked off his shoes and started removing his pants, along with his underwear.
He sprung free.
Abby turned her head. "EJ! Whoa!"
"Abigail, you have seen it before."
"Yes, but normally I have time to prepare."
He laughed and pushed her back onto the bed.
His lips found hers again.
She could feel his manhood pressed up against her triangle through the thin material of her yoga pants.
She broke the kiss. "EJ-"
He started grinding himself against her, while his hand moved up under her shirt.
She moaned.
He pushed her t-shirt up and took one of her breasts roughly into his mouth.
She grunted. "Ugh!"
He was sucking like he was trying to get something out of them.
She arched her back and grabbed a handful of his hair.
She'd never felt anything like it. It was a combination of crazy pleasure and intense pain.
It was short lived, because he quickly moved down her torso, kissing everything in his path.
He pushed her legs back, and clamped his mouth over her love.
She was still wearing her yoga pants, but she could feel his tongue pressed up against her most sensitive spot.
He drug his tongue up and down, saturating the seat of her pants.
It was driving her insane.
Finally, she felt his hands on her pants dragging them, along with her underwear, down her legs.
He pulled one of her legs up to his lips, and kissed it. "Your skin...is so beautiful. I need you, Abigail. It feels like a lifetime since I've touched you. But, if you would like to wait, we can."
Abby's eyes roamed over his body.
God he was a gorgeous freak of nature.
She smiled. "You are standing in front of me naked. How am I supposed to say no to that? I want you, EJ." She looked down at the hardest part of him. "Just as much as you want me."
He sat down next to her.
She stood up and straddled him.
EJ pulled her down into a passionate kiss.
She reached down and wrapped her hand around his length.
EJ broke the kiss and looked into her eyes.
She ran her hand up and down his stiffness, tightening, and loosening her grip with each stroke.
He closed his eyes. "Oh my...Abigail."
EJ felt like he was on the verge of exploding.
He opened his eyes and removed her hand.
Abby's eyes widen. "Did I do something wrong? You didn't like it?"
"No, I loved it. That was all about what you were doing right. I don't want it to be over before we've started."
He kissed her again, lifting her, and easing her down onto his love.
She closed her eyes and bit his lip...
EJ woke up first.
He stretched and looked over at Abby.
She was still asleep.
She was lying on her stomach. Her long blonde hair blanketed the bed.
Her bare back exposed.
She was beautiful.
He was really tempted to wake her, in the most interesting of ways, but he decided against it.
He had to shower, Elena would be up in a little while.
He slipped out of bed and unplugged Abby's alarm clock, which was set to go off any minute now.
She always got up about a half an hour before Elena.
EJ thought she could use a morning off.
He leaned down and planted a kiss on her back, and continued on into the bathroom...
EJ brought a change of clothes with him.
They were in his car.
He retrieved them as soon as he got out of the shower.
After dressing he headed to Elena's room.
She was already up.
She smiled when she saw him.
He picked her up. "Good morning, Sweetheart."
She kissed his cheek. "ing!"
He laughed and took her out of her crib. "Morn-ing."
She yelled. "ing!"
He smiled. "Perfect."
He washed and dressed her.
They headed downstairs to the kitchen...
Abby yawned and opened her eyes.
She looked at her clock.
It was blank.
She grabbed her cell phone. Damn it, she overslept.
She jumped up and threw on a robe.
She went down the hall to Elena's room, she was gone.
She could smell the baby lotion and powder.
"EJ."
She headed downstairs...
She walked into the kitchen.
EJ was feeding Elena.
"Good morning."
EJ turned. "Good morning."
Elena yelled. "ing!"
Abby grinned. "Good morning, Baby girl."
EJ pinched Elena's cheek. "That's perfect, Princess."
Abby kissed Elena on the cheek.
Elena kissed her back.
Abby grabbed a glass and filled it with orange juice. She took a sip. "I'm sorry, I overslept. I never oversleep. I have an alarm clock, but somehow I guess I made a mistake and unplugged it."
EJ handed Elena her sippy cup. "I unplugged it."
Abby looked up at him. "Why?"
"You hardly ever sleep in, I thought it would be good if you did. How did you sleep?"
"Fine. How did you sleep?"
He smiled. "Better. When is our date?"
"EJ, it's too soon. You staying here last night is one thing, because we are in this house...and it's private. I think it would be in poor taste to be seen, in public, especially so soon."
"Abigail, the sooner the better."
"I have to talk to my mother and the rest of my family."
EJ shrugged. "Ok, talk to them."
"Just give me a little time."
"I can do that, but just so we are clear, I'm not hiding forever."
"Ok, EJ."
Abby had no idea how she was going to tell her mother.
Her mother would never understand.
She hated EJ's guts.
She heard EJ speak again.
"When are you going to talk to her?"
"Soon, EJ. Soon..."
It was not soon.
Several weeks had passed and Abby still hadn't told her mother.
She kept giving EJ excuse after excuse.
They still had not went out on a real date, which did not sit well with EJ.
EJ felt like her house had turn into another cabin for them.
A place for them to hide out and not be seen, except this time they were practically living together.
They spent an insane amount of time together, just not outside of the house.
No one knew EJ was living there, except Stefano.
He actually encouraged EJ, because he liked Abby.
He thought she was smart, beautiful, and had substance.
He had yet to met Elena, but he knew patience was key with that situation. And he was willing to wait.
Abby was in Elena's room dressing her, when EJ walked in.
He was already dressed for work.
"Abigail, do you think your mother could watch Elena tonight?"
"Of course, all I have to do is ask. Why do we need her to watch her?"
"We have dinner reservations."
"But EJ-"
"I don't want to hear anymore excuses. It's been a month since things ended with Samantha. I am sick of hiding out in this house. All of Salem should know we are together. I'm not ashamed of you or us. Are you?"
"No, I am not ashamed."
"Well, it's settled."
He leaned down and kissed Elena on her forehead.
He cupped Abby's chin and pressed his lips against hers. "I'll phone later."
He left.
Abby buried her face into her hands. She had no idea what she was going to do. Everything was going so well with her mother. She didn't want to ruin it.
She looked up at Elena, who had her face buried in her hands too.
She peeked up to see if Abby was looking.
Abby laughed.
Elena hid her face again.
"What am I going to do, baby girl?"
Elena looked up. "Do."
Abby sighed. "That's correct, do..."
Part 2
Abby stopped by the coffee shop before heading to the hospital to see her mother.
"Hello, Abby."
She turned. "Nathan, Hi."
They embraced.
"You look good, Abby."
"So, do you."
"Are you still seeing that mystery guy?"
Abby smiled. "Yes."
"I can't believe I let him steal you away. How is your daughter?"
"She's fine. She's with my Aunt Adrienne."
"She's a popular little girl."
Abby nodded. "Yes, she is."
Abby's coffee was ready. She picked it up. "I should really get going. I'll see you later."
Nathan smiled. "If I'm lucky."
Abby laughed and left...
Jennifer was working in her office, when she heard a knock at the door.
She got up and answered it.
It was Abby.
They hugged.
Jennifer looked her over. "You look pretty."
"Thanks, mom."
Abby followed her inside closing the door behind her.
Jennifer sat down at her desk. "How is the job hunt coming?"
"Fine, I have a few prospects."
Jennifer looked at the stack of files on her desk. "You could always come back here. I could really use you."
"I'll think about it."
"So, what brings you by?"
"I have a date...tonight. Will you look after Elena?"
"Of course, as long as she can spend the night. It's been a long time since she has stayed over."
"It shouldn't be a problem."
The smile left Jennifer's face. "A problem for whom?"
Abby was confused. "Um...no one?"
"Does EJ have a problem with Elena staying over?"
"Why are you...bringing up EJ?"
"It's just the way you said, it shouldn't be a problem."
"I didn't mean it like that."
"Oh, ok. Sorry, I brought him up. So, who are you going out on a date with? The guy Gabi set you up with?"
Abby shifted in her seat. She wanted to say his name, she just couldn't, not after that exchange. So she lied. "Yes."
Jennifer smiled. "Do you like him?"
Abby nodded. "I do."
"Good, I would love to meet him."
"Maybe one day?"
"I'm so happy you are dating someone closer to your age."
Abby smiled. "Yeah...me too."
She knew EJ was going to be upset, but she just couldn't tell her, not yet...
Abby and Jennifer decided to grab lunch.
They were sitting at a table chatting it up, when Nathan walked in.
He walked up to the table. "Two times in one day?"
Abby looked up. "Nathan?"
"I decided to grab lunch before my next class, had no idea I was going to run into you again. I guess I am lucky."
He looked over at Jennifer and smiled.
Abby apologized. "I'm sorry, this is my mother. Mom, this is Nathan."
Jennifer extended her hand.
He shook it. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Deveraux."
"Nice to meet you too. I hear you are taking my daughter out tonight?"
Nathan looked at Abby.
Abby's eyes were pleading.
Nathan looked at Jennifer. "Yes...I am."
Abby forced a smile.
Jennifer pulled out a chair. "Have a seat."
He looked over at Abby.
She touched the chair. "Sit down."
Nathan sat down.
Jennifer's phone rung.
She looked down at it. "Excuse me, this is work. I have to take it."
She got up and walked over by the bar.
Nathan waited until she was a safe distance away. "What was that?"
"Thanks, Nathan."
"What is going on, Abby?"
"I'm seeing my child's father, my mom hates him. I was going to tell her, but I chickened out. She asked if I was going out with you, so I said yes."
Nathan smiled. "So, we are going out on date?"
"As far as she knows. Please don't tell anyone."
"I won't say anything, but Abby you might want to be honest. It will end up being a lot worse, if she found out another way."
"You're right, I know it. I'm just so scared."
He touched her hand. "It will be fine."
"Hello, Abigail."
She didn't even have to look up.
It was EJ.
She quickly removed her hand.
She looked up at him. "EJ? What are...you doing here?"
He looked over at Nathan, then back her. "Eating."
"EJ...this is Nathan. Nathan, this is Elena's father."
Nathan was just about to stand, when EJ stopped him. "That won't be necessary."
Nathan remained in his seat.
He looked at Abby.
She was looking at EJ, who was pissed.
Jennifer walked back over to the table and sat down.
EJ decided to make her day and say hello. "Hello, Jennifer."
She ignored him. "So, Nathan, where are you taking Abby?"
EJ interrupted. "Taking Abby?"
"Yes, taking Abby. She has a date with someone her own age, who is not married, and is not a career criminal."
EJ's eyes fell on Abby. "Does she?"
Abby refused to make eye contact with him.
This was turning into a disaster.
Poor Nathan had no clue what was going on.
EJ looked like he wanted to kill him and her, but somehow he remained calm. "Have a good time on your date."
Jennifer glared at him. "She will."
EJ walked off.
He sat down at the bar, in a position which allowed him to see Abby, and her to see him.
He was angry, and she wanted to crawl up under the table.
She wish she could just leave, but she couldn't.
She had to stay and tough it out, or else her mother would get suspicious.
She was so uncomfortable.
She could feel his eyes on her.
Jennifer hadn't even noticed how uncomfortable she was, because she busy slamming Nathan with questions.
Abby really appreciated how he was handling everything.
This was not his problem, but he chose to stay and help her out anyway.
Abby looked up at EJ.
He looked like he was ready to choke Nathan to death.
She tried apologizing with her eyes, but he was not interested.
His cell phone rung, he answered, and left, without so much as a glance in her direction.
Jennifer rolled her eyes as he walked by.
Abby had no idea what she was going to do. She had to tell her mother, because this was ridiculous.
She was an adult, she should not be sneaking around.
Nathan left as soon as he finished eating.
He had class.
"I really like him, Abby. He's attractive, bright, and quite charming."
Abby shook her head in agreement. "He's really nice, mom."
Jennifer threw her purse on her shoulder. "Well, I have to get back to work, especially if I plan on leaving early. I can't wait to see Elena."
She kissed Abby on the cheek. "I'll call you later."
"Ok."
Jennifer left.
Abby pulled out her phone.
She had a text from EJ.
We will talk later.
"Abigail Wh*re Deveraux."
Abby threw her phone into her purse. "What do you want, Sami?"
"This is my first time seeing you, since you ruined my marriage."
Abby was not in the mood.
She started gathering up her things.
"He doesn't love you, and he never will. He is just using you, and when he gets tired he will toss you aside just like the rest. EJ is just like a child with a new toy. He'll spend all his time with it, until he gets bored, and moves on."
Abby stood up. "Are you done?"
"You ruined my life. Our life. How does that make you feel?"
"Not good, Sami. Not good at all."
Abby walked off.
She didn't feel like arguing with Sami.
She had to save all of her energy for later, when she had to face EJ….
Abby stopped by Gabi's apartment.
Will and Sonny were at work.
Arianna was taking a nap.
Gabi could immediately tell something was wrong.
"Abby, what's wrong?"
Abby had to tell someone. "Gabi...I've been seeing EJ."
"Again?"
"Yes, again. We've been seeing each other ever since he broke up with Sami."
"Abby...I knew you were not seeing Nathan, I just assumed you met someone else. I had no idea it was EJ. Abby, EJ is bad news."
"So, I've been told."
"He really is. There is nice EJ and then there is-"
Abby finished her statement. "Bad EJ."
"Yes."
Gabi saw first hand how cold and calculated EJ could be. Abby had no idea who he really was. In her opinion, EJ and Sami deserved each other. EJ, Sami, and Kate were all cut from the same cloth. None of them gave a damn about Nick being dead. They were more concerned about getting caught. "Abby, you are a good person. Regardless of the affair, you are still a very good and decent person. EJ is not decent."
"I thought you liked EJ?"
"I like EJ, as long as he isn't dating my best friend."
"That's just it we've never been on a date. But he is ready to let the world know that we are together."
"And you're not?"
"No, my mother will never accept me dating EJ. She hates him, Gabi."
"Abby, your mother has every right to hate EJ."
"That's true she does, but he's Elena father and-"
"Your boyfriend. I still can't believe it. What are you going to do?"
Abby shook her head. "I don't know."
Gabi stared at her. "Are...you in love with him?"
Abby didn't respond.
Gabi sat down next to her. "Abby...Abby, Abby, Abby...EJ is not the kind of man you fall in love with."
"To a lot of people, Nick isn't either."
"Ok, you have a point. Nick has his...flaws, but the DiMeras are on a different level. I just don't want to see you get hurt. EJ is almost twice your age. He's been in and out of love plenty of times. You haven't. I'm just worried about you, Abby."
"I'll be fine, Gabi."
Maybe she made a mistake? Maybe she should not have confided in Gabi? She was apart of the I hate EJ club too.
Abby stood up. "I guess, I'll get going."
"I love you, Abby. I'm just trying to look out for you."
"I know."
"And I promise I won't say anything. That is your secret to tell."
"Thanks, Gabi."
Abby wanted to leave before Will came home.
He was still not speaking to her.
Gabi said he was coming around. She said he often asked about her.
She missed Will.
He was one of her closest friends, but her seeing EJ would probably not help in repairing their broken friendship. Not at all...
Abby stopped by Adrienne's to see Elena, before heading home.
Her mother was already there.
They were having a tea party.
Elena was so blessed.
She had so many people who loved her.
Regardless, of how they felt about EJ, they loved Elena.
They were watching Elena crawl around the floor, when Jennifer decided to bring up Abby's date.
"Abby, has a date tonight."
Adrienne looked over at Abby. "Really?"
Jennifer continued. "Really. He is a law student. His name is Nathan and he is so cute."
Adrienne smiled. "I'm just so happy, you have moved on from EJ. He is despicable."
Her mother agreed.
Abby didn't say anything.
She was so tired of people telling her about EJ.
Some of it rolled off, but some of it stuck.
The things Sami said. (He doesn't love you, he never will)
The things Gabi said. (EJ is not a decent person)
The things Adrienne and her mother said. (He's evil. He's despicable)
She was emotionally drained.
There were so many reasons for her not to be with EJ, but none of them could compete with her one big reason for staying with him.
She loved him...
Part 3
Abby pulled up to her house and got out.
EJ had not made it there yet.
She walked in, kicked off her shoes, picked them up, and went upstairs.
She was spent.
She threw her purse on a chair in her room, dropped her shoes on the floor, and got into bed.
She just laid there.
She needed a moment alone.
She heard the door slam.
There went her moment, because EJ was home.
She closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.
She heard him walk into the bedroom.
"Abigail, get out of that bed."
She sat up. "EJ, there is nothing going on between Nathan-"
"I know that. I know exactly what you were up to. Nevertheless, get up. We have a reservation."
He removed his jacket.
"EJ, I haven't told my mother and you know it. She thinks I am going on a date with Nathan."
"That is your problem. I have given you more than enough time to tell her. I told you, I was done hiding. I meant it."
He removed his tie and his shirt followed.
"I'm not going, EJ."
"Oh, yes you are, get out of that bed Abigail."
"EJ, this is crazy. We can't be seen together."
"Oh, no it is not crazy. And why can't we be seen? We are two consenting adults. Although, you are really acting like a child, and I'm starting to question it."
"I'm not going."
He grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the bed.
"Get undressed, or wear that. I don't care! But we are going to dinner...together...as a couple."
"EJ..."
"Save it, Abigail."
He went into the bathroom, and seconds later she heard the shower.
Abby started unbuttoning her shirt.
Maybe no one would see them?
She undressed and went into the bathroom.
She opened the shower door and got in.
EJ was standing under the water.
"EJ, please don't be angry."
"I'm not angry, Abigail."
She waved her hand up and down in front of him. "What do you call this?"
"Right now? Disappointment..."
They got dressed in silence.
EJ was dressed impeccably, as usual.
Abby wore a black pencil skirt, a white blouse, and a pair of black platform shoes.
Her hair was pulled up into a bun.
Their styles were totally different.
Maybe, because of the age difference?
EJ chose nice tailored suits and Abby was always wearing the latest trends.
EJ didn't care what she wore that night. It could have been a trash bag, just as long as she was sitting at that dinner table.
They are in EJ's Porsche on the way to the restaurant.
Abby looked out of the window. "EJ, do you realize we have never been alone in a car before."
He sighed. "We haven't done a lot of things."
"I know, EJ, and we will."
"Abigail, am I the man you want?"
She looked over at him. "Of course."
"Well, act like it."
"EJ, it is easier said than done. This has nothing to do with how I feel about you. I just don't want to hurt my family."
"They are going to find out eventually. Why not now?"
She looked out of the window. "You just don't care."
"No, I do not."
"Well, I do. I love them."
EJ was really getting sick of this.
He pulled up to the restaurant.
They exited the car and it was quickly taken by valet.
EJ walked up and grabbed her hand.
She pulled away. "No, EJ." She looked around, making sure she didn't see anyone she knew.
"Really, Abigail? I can make love to you every night, but I can't hold your hand in public."
"EJ, your situation has changed, mine has not."
"I was under the impression that both of our situations had changed, once we decided to be together."
"I just need a little bit more time."
"Ok."
He looked at one of the valet guys and held up the ticket. The guy ran over and took it.
"EJ, what are you doing?"
"Taking you back home. You need more time? I'll give you more time."
"EJ, please don't be angry."
"Too late."
They stood in silence until the guy pulled up in EJ's car.
EJ handed him a tip and they both got in.
They didn't talk at all in the car, she decided it was best if she just kept quiet.
He pulled up to the house, and she thought it was weird when he didn't turn the car off.
She looked over at him.
He stared straight ahead. "I'm not coming in."
"Why?"
"Abigail, you know the answer to that."
"So, you are just kicking me out?"
"I am not kicking you out. I'm dropping you off."
"Where are you going?"
"That is none of your concern."
"Ok, EJ."
She opened the door and got out.
She walked up the stairs and headed inside of the house.
As soon as she closed the door, she heard him drive off.
She looked out of the window.
She saw him turn out of the driveway.
He had every right to be upset, but he wasn't looking at things from her point of view.
This would cause so much turmoil in her life, not his, because he didn't care.
Maybe it was a good thing he left?
She entered the alarm code and went upstairs...
EJ sat down at the bar.
He ordered a shot of whiskey.
A man dressed in all black sat down next to him. "I didn't expect to hear from you until tomorrow."
"Plans changed. Did you get a good shot?"
"Yes, I'll show them to you. Pick one."
He handed EJ his camera.
EJ looked through the pictures. He pointed to one. "Send that one."
The man nodded. "Ok."
He got up and left.
EJ downed his whiskey, reached into his pocket, placed a couple of dollars on the bar, and left...
Abby washed her face and undressed.
She picked up her cell phone.
She wanted to call him, but she decided against it.
She placed the phone back down on the nightstand.
If he wanted to talk he would have stayed.
She got into bed.
She grabbed a pillow and hugged it.
His scent was in the sheets and all over the pillows.
Every time she would inhale, he would flood her senses.
It served as a reminder of what was missing.
She just wished she could press pause.
She was so exhausted.
This had to be one of the longest days of her life.
She just wanted to go to sleep, and eventually she got her wish...
Around one o'clock she woke up.
She had a strange feeling that she wasn't alone.
She turned.
EJ was sitting in a chair in her bedroom.
There was a bottle of scotch next to the chair, and a glass in his hand.
She sat up. "I didn't think you were coming back."
"I was coming back."
"I'm happy you came back."
"I'll be happy when you tell your family the truth."
"I will, I just need more time."
"Abigail, you are not a child. You are an adult. This is your life not your family's. I lie down next to you every night, but if I see you in public I have to pretend as though, we are just friendly co parents. I'm not doing that anymore. It ends now."
"Are you going to tell my mother?"
"I'm not going to tell her anything, I'm just not hiding anymore."
She ran her fingers through her hair. "This is really difficult, EJ. My mom hates you."
"I don't care! I don't want her, I want you. So whether she likes me or not, is really irrelevant."
"You don't take anyone's feelings into consideration but your own. It's all about what you want and how you want things to be. What if I would have pressured you to tell Sami, we were having an affair, before you were ready? I don't think you would have liked it."
"When it was necessary I told her. And at this moment it is necessary for you to tell your family, or don't tell them. Do whatever you like, but I am not hiding anymore."
"So, basically I have no choice?"
"You have a choice, Abigail. I'm just telling you what I'm going to do."
She turned her back to him.
EJ sat his glass down. "Are you done speaking to me?"
"Yes."
"Well, I am not done speaking to you."
"EJ, I really don't want to talk to you right now, not while you're drinking...I'm going back to sleep."
"Yes, I have been drinking and I plan on drinking more. Tonight was supposed to be special. I wanted to do something I have never had the privilege of doing. What we have is not dirty, Abigail. At least it doesn't feel dirty to me. Does it feel dirty to you?"
"No, EJ. I told you, it has nothing to do with how I feel about you."
"Are you saying you still love me with all of your heart? Because if you do, you have a strange way of showing it."
She turned and looked at him. "You promised you wouldn't bring that up?"
"I can't help but bring it up, especially when it's in question."
"My feelings for you have not changed."
EJ didn't respond.
He just picked up his glass, and took a sip.
He didn't say anything else.
He just sat there.
He was done with conversation.
It was like beating a dead horse.
Abby wondered what he was thinking?
She wondered if he regretted getting involved with her?
She didn't regret getting involved with him.
Maybe it was time for her to tell her mother? Because she was not going to end things with EJ, and she would hate if she found out another way.
Maybe she was acting like a child?
Her eyes fell back on EJ.
He continued to just sit there, without saying a word.
Abby noticed he had not shaved.
She always loved it when he didn't shave.
He looked so rugged and sexy.
She really loved him.
Even if she didn't have the nerve to tell him.
She kept staring at him.
He didn't notice, or maybe he didn't care? He looked to be in deep in thought, or maybe he was just drunk?
EJ DiMera was sitting in her bedroom, drinking, because he wanted her.
That was a problem a lot of women would love to have...
Abby hardly ever initiated anything with EJ.
He was always the aggressor, maybe that night it would have to be different?
EJ stood up and went into the bathroom.
Minutes later he came out, wearing only his boxers.
He slid in next to her and closed his eyes.
She was laying on her side facing him.
Her eyes roamed over his body. His chest…his lips.
She really wanted to touch him, but she was a little nervous.
She still had limited experience, when it came to anything sex related.
Their affair only lasted a little over a month.
So, she'd only been having sex for a short period of time.
Her experience only totaled two months.
She just wasn't comfortable taking the initiative yet.
But if she wanted him, she would have to make a move, because from the looks of things, he wasn't going to.
Abby got up and went into the bathroom.
She closed the door, walked up to the counter, and looked in the mirror.
She was wearing an oversized t-shirt and a pair of pajama pants.
She did not look appealing….at all.
She couldn't seduce anyone wearing that.
She undressed.
She was just about to go into her closet and put something else on, when all of a sudden she changed her mind.
She unhooked her bra and removed her underwear.
She turned out the light and walked out of the bathroom.
His eyes were still closed.
She walked around the bed and got in.
She looked over at him.
What if he rejected her? Especially with everything that happened earlier?
She was going to have to take that chance.
She needed to apologize.
She mustered up the courage and moved on top of him, pressing her naked body against his bare chest.
EJ felt her move on top of him.
Her skin on his skin.
He opened his eyes.
He was still angry with her, but there was no way he was turning her down, because he still wanted and needed her.
She had no idea how much.
He looked into her intoxicating brown eyes. Eyes that dominated her face.
If he wasn't inebriated, he was now.
He felt her lips on his, coaxing him to kiss her back.
And kiss her he did.
He slipped his tongue into her mouth, while sliding his hand across her derriere, up the small of her back, and right up the nape of her neck.
She felt so good.
Her skin…so soft.
She was so tiny and fragile, compared to him.
Sometimes he felt like he would break her if he wasn't careful.
He felt her lips on his neck moving down to his chest and past his navel.
EJ moaned. "Abigail."
She grabbed a hold of his boxers and started to pull them down.
He placed his hand over hers and pulled her back up.
She was confused. "EJ?"
He kissed her.
She broke the kiss. "EJ, why did you stop me? I wanted to."
He flipped her over and pinned her against the bed.
He trailed kissed down her body.
"EJ, you didn't answer the question. Why did you stop me?"
He looked up. "Because you do not have to do that."
"I know, but I wanted to."
He kissed her inner thighs, placed her legs on his shoulders, and slipped his tongue deep inside of her.
She arched her back. "EJ..."
She grabbed a handful of the sheet.
He was trying to shut her up.
She knew it….and it was working.
After taking her there...a couple of times, he moved up her body, and pushed himself deep inside of her.
Abby dug her nails into his back and yelled his name.
He buried his face into her neck, and moved his hips at a feverish pace.
His strokes were long, deep, and sometimes punishing.
He didn't hurt her, it was the total opposite.
Abby was on the ride of her life, and with every turn she experienced something new and exciting…immense pleasure…ecstasy…joy….it was absolutely mind blowing.
Her back pressed against the bed, her face buried into the pillow, her legs wrapped around his head...holding him there...her nails digging into his chest... her hips…grinding….
The pleasure she received...the pleasure she received...
Part 4
It's the next morning, Abby is just waking up.
She could hardly move. EJ had his arms wrapped around her, holding her close.
Her whole body was sore.
That was the last time she would take on an intoxicated EJ.
Abby's thighs felt like they were glued together.
Traces of EJ smeared all over them.
Last night was intense
Last night was insane
Last night was….everything….
It's later and they are in the shower.
Abby rubbed her soapy hands all over his body. "Why didn't you want me to kiss you last night?"
"I guess it's safe to assume you have never done that before?"
"No, but there is a first time for everything. Did you think I was going to make a mistake and injure you?"
He smiled. "Abigail, of course not."
"Well, why didn't you let me? I let you."
He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "And I am grateful for it."
"Well I'd appreciate it, if you let me."
"It's not necessary."
"I know it, but I want to."
EJ could not understand why she wanted to so badly. "Why?"
"Because….I want to know if you taste as good as you feel."
He was not expecting that answer. He grinned. "Bloody hell, Abigail. You are honest to a fault. I wish you were this honest with your mother, but change the subject, or I might just let you."
She shook her head. "Ok, let's change the subject for a minute. Are you still angry with me?"
"Do I act angry?"
"No."
He stood up under the water, rinsing his body. "I told you, Abigail. I am done hiding."
"I'm going to talk to my mother."
"Don't be surprised when I tell you, I don't believe you. You've been telling me this for weeks."
"I don't expect for you to believe me."
"Regardless, you know my position on the matter, and it's not changing."
He leaned down and kissed her...
Abby and EJ left at the same time.
He headed to the office and she went over to her mother's.
Abby had finally decided to tell her.
She had to tell her.
She was not going to end things with EJ, and he was right…it was her life.
She just hoped her mother understood.
At the least respected her decision.
Abby unlocked the door and went in.
JJ was holding Elena.
JJ didn't give her time to say anything, before he was questioning her. "Abby, are you seeing EJ?"
She closed the door. "What?"
"Are you seeing EJ?"
She walked towards him. "Who told you?"
"So, it's true?"
She nodded. "Yes."
"Mom knows Abby."
"Where is she?"
"She's in the kitchen. She didn't want Elena to see...her upset."
Abby kissed Elena and walked towards the kitchen.
She opened the door.
Her mother was sitting at the table.
"Mom?"
Jennifer looked up. "Abigail, is it true? Are you seeing EJ?"
"Mom..."
Abby looked down at the kitchen table.
She covered her mouth.
There was a picture of her and EJ...from last night.
"Where did you get those?"
"They were delivered here this morning. Is it true?"
"Mom, I wanted to tell you."
"You wanted to tell me? When were you going to tell me?"
"Soon. I just didn't know how to do it."
"How long have you been seeing him?"
"About a month."
"Is this serious, Abigail?"
She nodded. "We are...living together."
"It is bad enough you got pregnant by him, but to become seriously involved with him, is a huge mistake. Do you have any idea who you are getting involved with?"
"He's not that bad mom."
"Abigail, he is that bad! Baby, you have no clue who he is! You don't! He comes in a very nice package, but he is pure evil."
"Mom, he is not evil."
"He is! Damn it, Abby, what is wrong with you?!"
"Nothing..."
"There has to be something wrong. I didn't raise you to make the kind of decisions you are making. Are you doing it because I don't like it? Is that it?"
"No, of course not."
"Why? Please make me understand. Don't tell me you think you two are going to be together?"
Abby looked down.
"Abby, he is almost twice your age! He has done this many times! Many times! You are not special! Not to him!"
"I love him."
"You love him? You love him?! Oh my God! You are so young, you have no
clue what you are talking about!" Jennifer shook her head. "Where did I go wrong?"
"Mom, you didn't do anything. You were the best."
"Obviously, not. You think you're in love with a murderer and a rapist."
"A murderer and a rapist?"
"Yes, a murderer and a rapist. Your father, God rest his soul, had a colorful past, but EJ is in a different class."
Abby's eyes widen. "Who did he kill? Rape?"
"Kill? I don't have a list. Rape? Sami, his soon to be ex wife! He is a monster!"
"I don't believe that."
"You don't have to believe it! Why did you lie to me? You said you were dating Nathan?"
"I didn't know how to tell you."
"And Nathan was in on it too?"
Abby shook her head. "No, he had no idea. He just went along with it, to help me out. EJ told me to tell you, I just...couldn't."
She looked down at the picture. "You didn't have to, he made sure of that."
"What are you talking about?"
"EJ DiMera sent me this."
"Why would he do that?"
"Because he is EJ!" Jennifer put the photo back into the folder. "Look it's your life. There really isn't anything I can do about it. I'm drained, Abigail. I just hope you know what you are getting yourself into."
She stood up. "I'm going to spend a little bit more time with Elena, before you leave."
She left.
Abby looked down at the folder.
Did EJ really send that picture to her mother?
She shook her head.
He wouldn't do that. Would he?
Abby and Elena left her mother's a couple of hours later.
Abby didn't go home, she headed straight for EJ's office.
This was the first time she'd been there.
His secretary asked if she had an appointment, she said no.
She left briefly only to return seconds later.
She apologized and escorted her and Elena back.
He was on the phone.
He motioned for her to come in.
The secretary left.
Elena was asleep in her stroller.
Abby looked around.
His office was huge.
EJ placed the receiver down and stood up.
"Abigail, I wasn't expecting you. Is something wrong?"
He walked around the desk and made his way over to the stroller.
He leaned down and kissed Elena.
He stood up and looked over at Abby and asked her the question again. "Is something wrong?"
"EJ, did you send photos of us...together...to my mother?"
"Yes."
Her eyes widen. "Why would you do that?"
"Someone had to tell her, because you were certainly not going to."
"I was! You didn't give me a chance."
"Abigail, I gave you more than enough chances."
"You lied, you told me you would never tell her."
He leaned up against the desk. "I didn't...tell her."
"You sent her pictures instead. Remind me to thank you."
"You are here, which means she lived."
"She was upset, EJ. Because she was blindsided...by you."
"I'm not apologizing, Abigail. It needed to be done."
"I wanted to tell her, EJ. She'll never trust me. I didn't tell her about Elena, and I didn't tell her about us."
"Abigail, this is your life, not your mother's."
"I know that, EJ. But I wish you would have trusted me to tell her."
"I didn't trust you to tell her anything. Well, at least now she knows."
"I still don't appreciate it. EJ, I have to ask you something?"
"I'm listening."
"Have you ever killed someone...before?"
"I've done a lot of things, Abigail. I told you that. I'm not saying I have, I'm just saying I have done a lot of things."
"Did you...rape Sami?"
"I blackmailed her into having sex with me. Did I pin her down? No, but she didn't want to do it. I'm not proud of my actions, but nevertheless it happened."
"Before you were together?"
"Yes."
Abby never thought she could ever love anyone who was capable of those types of things.
Maybe he had changed?
It wasn't impossible, her father had.
"I would never hurt you, Abigail. I hope you know that."
"I think I know. I mean…I'm not scared of you. Even after hearing all of that, I am not scared."
"You shouldn't be. I told you that."
She searched his face. "EJ, am I special to you? Or am I just someone you are interested in for the moment?"
"Is this your mother talking?"
She thought back to what Sami said. "I've heard it from quite a few people."
"What do you think?"
"I don't know. I think I'm different. I think we are different, but I don't know. I don't have a lot of experience when it comes to being in love."
"Are we in love?"
*phone beeping*
EJ walked around his desk and picked up the phone. "Yes? Take a message, and hold all calls."
He hung up.
"EJ, I'll leave. We can talk later."
"No, we can talk now. I have a past, Abigail, there isn't anything I can do about it."
"I know."
"To answer your question, you are more than special. Don't you feel it?"
"I feel it."
"Don't let anyone try and tell you what we have. Only we know that. Come here."
She walked up to him.
He picked her up and placed her on top of his desk.
He got down to eye level with her.
She stared into his eyes.
Maybe, she should have been scared?
Maybe, she should have jumped off that desk, grabbed Elena, and ran out of that office?
But she couldn't.
It was the…pull
She reached up and touched his cheek.
He kissed her hand. "Dinner?"
She grinned. "Are you asking?"
"Damn it, Abigail, I am asking."
"Ok, but another night. I would like to plan everything, since I ruined last night."
He nodded. "Just make sure it is outside of the house."
She smiled. "Ok."
"Preferably not behind a tree, or in another state."
She cocked her head to the side. "Ha…Ha."
