The double doors opened slowly to Elsa's resting quarters. The queen was currently resting on the only bed inside, facing the entrance. The exhausted mother had her back propped up with pillows. She was tired due to the delivery, but managed with ease to smile kindly at the young princesses.

Two maidservants had taken over for the two princesses and opened the double doors the rest of the way. The twin girls stood with anticipation dazed eyes looking in. Their nervous but curious eyes were focused on their dear mother who sat on the big bed.

The room was full of servants who were bustling in the sidelines, cleaning up and making everything comfortable for the queen and the new. Standing next to the queen sized bed stood a proud father who looked at his tired wife with loving eyes. Camelot went to greet the twin princesses by the door.

"Fine-sama...Rein-sama," calmly addressing them Camelot continued, "Welcome back."

Fine and Rein, confused at what exactly to do in this situation, curtsied for Camelot and their parents. Camelot held back a single tear at how proper the girls were presenting themselves.

Elsa's tired eyes gleamed with relief at her girls perfect timing. The weak joyous mother motioned them closer. The twin sisters shared a confirming glance with a single firm nod and walked to the side of the Queen's bed.

The twins were so focused on their mother that they hadn't acknowledged their father who now stood behind them as they stood beside her. Truth chuckled at seeing how awestruck the two were when they grew closer to the bed.

Fine and Rein's eyes widened at finally noticing the yellow bundle in their mother's arms. They both craned their necks a bit higher to see what the blanket held inside.

Elsa smiled, holding in an amused chuckle, at their curiosity.

"Would you like to meet her?"

Fine nodded while Rein gasped with hands covering her mouth. The bluenette stood next to her sister, but further away from their mother. Maybe that was the reason for her being nervous but not unable to react, since she wasn't so close. Therefore, she was able to catch on quickly to what her mother had just revealed. The redhead was still oblivious as she nodded her head slowly.

"Here Fine," Elsa slowly offered the bundle, "You can hold her."

Fine's eyes grew so wide as her shocked red eyes stared into red tired happy ones. The redhead didn't know if she could do it, but she wanted to, so she offered her arms as her response.

Carefully, Elsa placed and adjusted the bundle into the arms of her daughter. Rein scooted closer to Fine's shoulder looking over it to see the little baby's face.

Fine couldn't help but smile as she firmly but gently held the baby girl in her arms. Rein smiled as well as she rested her chin on her sister's shoulder. They admired the adorable baby as she slept.

"She's a girl," Fine whispered now realizing.

Rein giggled silently at her sister's new discovery.

Truth smiled fondly at the two big sisters and decided that it was time to present his little gift.

"Rein," as said girl reluctantly turned Truth offered, "Would you like to hold him?"

Rein smiled and made the motion to nod but stopped short. Her aquamarine eyes widened as she noticed that her father also held a bundle in his arms.

Overhearing what her father had said, Find quickly turned her head to her father's arms.

Elsa kept her hands safely under the baby that Fine held, just in case the news was too much for her.

EEEEHH--pumo

Poomo who had been standing next to Lulu by the entrance had joined the girl's exclamation to the news. Forgetting his servant position, the poomo fairy raced over to the twin princesses.

Camelot frowned and was quick to shush the trio for the sake of the sleeping twins. However, her eyes gleamed joyfully at the twins surprise. The old governess was just as shocked when Elsa had delivered not one but two babies.

Fine and Rein stood paralyzed, noticing their mistake and stood very still. They held their breath even to be extremely silent. Poomo quickly put his tiny hands over his mouth while also being still in the air.

When the babies showed no sign of waking up, the whole room of people relaxed. A newborn baby was a force to be reckoned with, so imagine two of them.

Truth continued to motion the baby boy to the bluenette. Still in shock of the second reveal, Rein swallowed, but prepared her arms to hold him. She wanted to hold him even though she didn't understand what exactly was happening.

"But how," Rein questioned.

Feeling it safe to remove her hands from under Fine's arms, Elsa sat up against her pillows and shrugged teasingly.

"Surprise twins."

The twin sisters looked from their mother, their father, Camelot, and even some of the servants to confirm. Everyone nodded when it was their turn to confirm. Truth successfully placed the baby boy in Rein's arms right before the girls stopped looking around the room.

The girls finally looked at each other and sheepishly smiled at the sudden turn of events.

Poomo hovered from baby to baby silently gushing over them. He stopped in front of the girls and floated in the air between them.

"Congratulations-pumo," Poomo quietly exclaimed.

The girls looked at the babies in their arms and switched glances to look at the baby the other one was holding.

The baby girl Fine was holding, had cherry red hair that covered her head. The baby boy Rein held, had cobalt blue hair covering his head. Both babies were asleep so the girls had no idea what color their eyes were. However, they fell in love with their sleeping faces.

"Like little angels."

They giggled at their synchronization. They both remembered what Mirlo had told them last time they visited her. They both had to agree that the water drop princess was right.

Quick footsteps could be heard approaching the room. Since the door remained open from when the Sunny princesses came in, the newcomers were visible to everyone in the room.

The Moon Prince and the Jewel Prince and Princess turned towards the open room and stopped to compose themselves. The princes did nothing but stand straighter while Altezza fixed her dress by smoothing the small creases that were created in the rush to get there. Both Princes joined the princess in a bow while she curtsied.

"Hello your majesties."

Elsa and Truth smiled at their first visitors thanking them for their presence. Noticing that they continued to awkwardly stand by the door Elsa welcomed them in.

"Don't be shy," Elsa teasingly reassured the trio, "Come in."

Gaining confidence, Altezza lead the princes inside the room after gratefully nodding their thanks.

"Altezza, Shade, and Bright," Fine cheerfully acknowledged.

The Jewel Princess noticed the baby in the redhead's arms and cooed an "aww" at seeing the sleeping newborn. The Princes smiled as they also admired the baby and the proud big sister holding her.

"Meet our baby sister," Fine started.

"And baby brother," Rein continued.

As Rein made herself visible with baby in her own arms the arriving trio jerked their attention to her.

EEEHHHHH

Altezza was the loudest out of the three as she almost shrieked.

Fine and Rein held tightly to the babies with father supporting them and mother reaching out anxiously. This time both babies stirred in their blankets and everyone stood still.

Altezza's emerald green eyes widened in horror at her own mistake. Bright and Shade tensed up with widened eyes, knowing they also had fault in whatever happened next.

However, the babies didn't cry. They had opened their eyes slowly and were now looking up at the ones who were holding them. Their big sisters.

AWWWW

Everyone watched the adorable scene unfold between the older Sunny Princesses and new Sunny Princess and Prince.

The baby girl that Fine held in her arms wrapped her tiny hand around Fine's pointer finger after successfully smuggling her arm out from her blankets hold. The boy that Rein held, had also smuggled both his arms out of his own blanket and grabbed at the air towards the bluenette's face. Fine and Rein looked down at the small babies and then looked at each other. A sparkle of overwhelming joy was shared between cherry and aquamarine eyes.

They noticed that their baby brother kept moving his arms upwards. When the baby boy kept trying to grab at Rein's face all three of them, including Altezza, giggled at how eagerly he was trying to reach.

The Princes being taller than Altezza, stood behind her as they looked down at the very awake babies.

Shade remembered something and asked, "What are their names?"

Fine and Rein jolted their attention to the Moon Prince, taken by surprise. After a few moments of thought, they just laughed nervously expressing their lack of knowledge of that crucial information. In disbelief, the Jewel kingdom siblings and the Moon lad sweat dropped.

"You don't even know their names," Altezza accused.

"Altezza," said Bright with a scolding tone.

The twins had no idea what the babies names were and didn't know how to answer.

"Ummmm," Fine started and turned her body to her mother, "Okaa-sama?"

Rein turned as well, embarrassed that they had missed that important detail.

The mother smiled at both of them and looked up at her husband. She would let him explain.

Understanding what his wife wanted, Truth cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention.

"Well we haven't decided," Truth chuckled at the young faces of disbelief and added, "We were waiting for you, Fine and Rein."

The visitors "oohed" along with Fine and Rein in understanding.

The queen nodded in agreement and said, "So should we decide now?"

Fine and Rein nodded and looked down at their baby siblings. Looking into their new eyes, they smiled at the matching set of eyes the babies shared with their parents. The baby girl's soft ruby red eyes resembled their mother's eyes while the baby boy's navy blue eyes mirrored their father's eyes.

"I have an idea-pumo," Poomo claimed shyly.

The Sunny Kingdom royals all looked over to the poomo fairy. They were willing to hear their small flying companion's suggestions. In the past two years he had become as part of their family. He was more than a servant and more than a friend.

He flew in between the twin sisters and positioned himself near their ears and whispered the babies names.

Fine and Rein grinned approvingly at the idea and turned to their parents to get their approvals.

However, they didn't think they would refuse sense it was a brilliant idea.

A brilliant idea indeed.

~Time Skip~ Two weeks later

"How do I look?"

Rein put the final pin on her hair and twirled to present herself to her twin.

Fine smiled and gave her sister two enthusiastic thumbs up. Rein grinned in satisfaction at her handy work. She had decided to change up her hairstyle for this special event, but had had her doubts. So instead of her usual high ponytail she decided to braid her thick wavy blue hair into one single braid. In that braid, she strategically placed hairpins with sky blue pearls attached to them.

Her dress was also different than the usual one she wore for princess parties. It was still a ball gown, but it's base was a pearl blue color with a cerulean sash around the waist. It had a heart shaped collar and off the shoulder sleeves. Finally intricate designs in thin golden lacing circled around its hemline. The bluenette's eyes had little hearts in them as she took in every detail.

Altezza had helped her pick it out for this special event. She was very grateful to the Jewel princess as she admired its full design in her wardrobe mirror.

As the blue twin was distracted, Fine was finishing up as well. She was also changing it up after putting a lot of thought as well. However, she wanted to surprise her sister so she took advantage of this time.

Fine and Rein were in their room getting ready for a special party that would take place in their kingdom. It was the royal announcement of the new prince and princess of The Sunny Kingdom to the other kingdoms of the whole Mysterious Star. Therefore, everyone they knew was coming to the party and they would finally get to meet their baby siblings.

Prince Sol and Princess Luz of the Sunny Kingdom.

It was Poomo's brilliant idea to give them those names. The Sunny Kingdom royal family all agreed on them in a heartbeat.

Fine fixed the final strand of loose hair behind her ear and exhaled.

Here goes nothing.

"So what do you think?"

Rein's checking eyes stopped looking at the mirror and directed themselves at the redhead after twirling around. The bluenette gasped and then squealed in delight.

"FINE YOUR HAIR," the bluenette exclaimed but added quietly, "You look wonderful."

"Really?"

Rein nodded with joyful glossy eyes. She was genuine in her compliment, for her twin sister looked amazing.

Fine twirled to look at herself in the mirror once again. She smiled at her reflection.

Her short feathery hair was let down and curled up slightly over her shoulders. She had taken a thick enough strand of hair from both sides and pinned them together in the back with a golden sun clip she had received from her mother on their 11th birthday months ago.

Her hair was slightly shorter than usual as it barely reached her shoulders. A few days before she had gotten her hair cut in secret by one of the royal hairdressers. She had only kept it a secret from Rein cause she wanted to surprise her. Since then she has had her hair in the same two ponytails so it didn't look any different unless it was let down.

"I love this dress," Fine admitted.

Rein squealed as she rushed over to hug her sister from behind. The bluenette had also picked out her sister's dress and just knew she would adore it.

It was similar to the one Rein wore but with different colors. It had a deep crimson red base with a rosey pink sash around the waist. It had the same heart shaped collar and off the shoulder sleeves. Finally, it also had the same intricate golden thin lacing on the hemline as Rein's.

"Shall we get going?"

"Wait one more thing," Fine rushed over to their jewelry box on their table.

Rein was taken aback at her sister's final preparations to dress up. She felt touched and almost teared up at the thought of her twin sister enjoying girly things.

Fine smiled as she found what she was looking for and picked them out. Turning around to her sister, she showed her what she had found.

"Our luche pearl bracelets," Rein exclaimed cheerfully.

"I was thinking we should wear them today," Fine shyly suggested.

"I think that's a brilliant idea," Rein clapped her hands for emphasis.

Fine handed her excited sister her blue pearl luche bracelet. They put them on and headed to their door when they heard a knock.

Fine opened the door to their room and smiled at their little visitor.

"I have come to escort you to the ballroom-pumo."

Rein scooted herself next to her sister to see the poomo fairy and grinned at his new look.

"Poomo you look great!"

"Thank you-pumo," replied a bashful Poomo.

He was wearing a sunset orange vest with two small cobalt blue Sunny Kingdom emblems on the front and a big one that covered the whole back of the vest. His hat was also sunset orange with cobalt blue diamonds lined up circling the middle of the hat. On top of it stood a fiery orange gem in the shape of the sun.

He made it himself for the special occasion. The Poomo fairy flew back to let the princesses enter the hallway. That was when he was able to take in their whole appearance and began circling them in the air while letting out a joyful cry.

"Fine-sama...Rein-sama-pumo," the fairy's eyes sparkled as he added, "You both look amazing-pumo."

Fine and Rein giggled at their excited fairy servant. They gave each other a knowing look and nodded in agreement.

"Thank you Poomo."

Poomo's pupils grew triple as he witnessed the graceful curtsies of the twin princesses. He then observed their posture and noticed what the girls wore on their wrists. He started to choke up, emotional at the sight.

"The luche pearls-pumo."

Fine and Rein gracefully ended their curtsies and nodded energetically showing off their bracelets.

Poomo was crying waterfalls and full on wailing at their sweet gesture. He also cried at the beauty of how much they had grown in the past year. When he first meet them they were known as the unprincess-like princesses of the whole Mysterious Star. He witnessed first hand all of the unprincess-like things that made him cringe and even cry bitterly. However, these tears were full of joy as all of his hopes and dreams for these princesses have come true or were starting to become true.

"Awww Poomo don't cry," Rein consoled their fairy companion.

"We didn't mean to make you cry," Fine defended sadly.

Realizing he was being worried about, he blinked the waterfall away and inhaled deeply.

"How rude of me-pumo," Poomo exhaled and added, "I'm making you two worry about me-pumo."

Fine and Rein shook their heads letting him know it's alright. Poomo sighed at the twin's kindness and straightened up in flight. He had a duty to fulfill.

"Let us go-pumo."

With a nod of agreement from all three of them, Poomo lead the prepared princesses to the ballroom.

After familiar twists and turns in the hallways they arrived at the huge double doors that opened to the ballroom.

Poomo cleared his throat before pushing the doors. Before he actually pushed the heavy doors he turned back at the princesses.

"You two ready-pumo?"

"Yeah," Rein confirmed.

"Of course," Fine admitted happily.

With amazing strength Poomo pushed the doors open and with a loud booming fairy voice, announced their arrival.

"Presenting Princess Fine and Princess Rein-pumo. Princesses of the Sunny Kingdom-pumo."

The room roared with applause for the the trio as they continued walking inside the ballroom. Everyone from the other kingdoms had already arrived. They hadn't been kept long which was a first for the twin princesses. The girls smiled as they passed all of their friends.

The Jewel Kingdom siblings. Princess Altezza and Prince Bright.

Both siblings waved keeping proper poise.

Rein's eyes sparkled as she saw Prince Bright and suppressed a squeal. She was as red as Fine's hair when Bright mouthed the words 'You look amazing' towards her. Fine and Poomo smirked at the bluenette's bashful behavior. They all waved back at Altezza and Bright and walked on.

The Moon Kingdom siblings. Prince Shade and Princess Milky.

"Fabui, Rabui!" Fine, Rein!

Fine and Rein giggled and waved back at their young friend. Fine made eye contact with a stunned Shade and smiled back at him, totally oblivious to his reaction of her new look.

The Windmill Kingdom siblings. Prince Auler and Princess Sophie.

"You look so beautiful!"

Fine and Rein blushed as they thanked their sweet outspoken friend. They felt beautiful inside and out.

The Flame Kingdom siblings. Princess Lione and Prince Tio. Accompanied by Hero.

Fine and Rein pointed enthusiastically at Hero and gave their Flame Princess friend thumbs up with equal enthusiasm. This only made the orange haired girl blush tomato red.

The Seed Kingdom siblings. Prince Solo and the 11 Princesses: Ichele, Nina, Saya, Shiyon, Gorchel, Loloa, Nursya, Harney, Quarry, Julia, and Joiner.

"Fine!Rein," every sister curtsied to their dear friends.

The twin sisters gracefully curtsied back making a certain old governess tear up on the sidelines. Lulu could be seen handing her teacher a handkerchief and wiping her own tear with another one.

The Water Drop Kingdom siblings. Princess Mirlo and Prince Narlo.

Mirlo held baby Narlo on her side above her hip. They both waved at the princesses of the Sunny Kingdom. Rein and Fine smiled back waving at their wonderful friend.

Thank you

This was not spoken out loud, but mouthed out by the two girls. Mirlo looked confused for a second but then glancing at her baby brother smiled in understanding. She simply nodded and smiled.

They were grateful for her advice about having a new sibling. In their case it was two new siblings. However, they were eternally grateful to the Water Drop princess.

The Sea Kingdom siblings. Princess Pearl and Prince Coral.

Fine and Rein were taken aback to see poomo fairy Boomo holding a bundle. Pearl adjusted the blanket to show the tiny face of a baby boy.

"Surprise," Pearl cheerfully cried out, "I have a baby brother!"

They stopped walking, including Poomo who stopped flying. They mouthed an "aww" and smiled proudly at the new big sister. The twin Princesses knew the feeling all too well of being big sisters. Pearl's bright smile sums it up perfectly.

Continuing their walk, Fine and Rein reached the stairs to the throne and step by step headed to the top where the King and Queen were waiting. They finally reached the top and curtsied once more for their parents.

Elsa and Truth smiled proudly at their princesses and motioned them over. Fine stood by her mother's side while Rein stood by her father's side. Once they were all aligned perfectly, Truth stepped up a couple steps forward to speak.

"Dear friends. I thank you for coming today and I welcome you to the Sunny Kingdom. Today is a very special day as me and my wife, Queen Elsa of the Sunny Kingdom," He reached out behind him for his wife's hand and brought her forward and continued, "We announce the new Princess and Prince of the Sunny Kingdom."

The room was quiet as Camelot and Lulu came forward with the two bundles of joy. However, instead of handing them over to the Queen and King they granted the honor of presenting them to Fine and Rein. Fine and Rein curtsied their thanks to their governess and the cat maidservant before taking hold of the babies.

Lulu, who held the baby girl in her paws, handed her over to Rein. Camelot carefully handed the baby boy to Fine.

The babies were awake and content in the arms of their big sisters. Fine and Rein giggled as they saw how big their baby siblings' smile grew in seeing them.

Once they were ready, Fine and Rein walked forward slowly to present their siblings to everyone in that room. Truth smiled at how wonderful of a job their daughters were doing. He turned to the crowd and with his deep regal voice announced his newborn children to the world.

"Princess Luz and Prince Sol of the Sunny Kingdom."

The room once again roared with cheers and applause for the new Prince and Princess. Fine and Rein grinned from ear to ear at the wonderful acceptance their siblings got from everyone they truly cared about. It made them feel at ease that their siblings were accepted with such glee.

Once the applause died down Elsa chose her moment to speak.

"Let the celebration commence."

With that said, the music began playing and the festivities down in the dance floor commenced.

Elsa and Truth each turned to the daughter closest to them and asked to hold the baby.

"You did a wonderful job," Truth reassured and added, "We can take it from here,"

"Go enjoy yourselves," Elsa explained kindly.

Fine reluctantly handed Sol to her mother while Rein reluctantly handed Luz to her father. They had grown so attached to the little ones in the last two weeks that they tried to hold them as many times and as long as they could. However, their parents were right and they did want to go talk to their friends. It has been a while since they have all been together.

"May I have this dance Rein?"

Said girl spun around at the familiar sound of her name being called.

It was Prince Bright. He had ascended the stairs himself to retrieve his dance partner. Rein almost collapsed at the sudden appearance of the boy who made her heart pound in her chest infinity-fold. Luckily for her, Fine and Poomo supported her from the back as she stuttered her acceptance to dance with the Jewel Prince.

They both descended the stairs and halfway done they glanced nervously at each other. They chuckled at their synchronization and continued down the steps with ease.

"How precious-pumo," Poomo sighed.

"Yeah," Fine smiled as she watched her sister dance with her crush.

Poomo jumped slightly in flight when he realized that the redheaded twin was still their. He propped his hands on his hips and glared at the girl.

"What are you doing-pumo," Fine looked at him baffled and he added, "Get down there-pumo."

Fine reached her hand to the back of her head and laughed nervously at her forgetfulness.

Poomo sighed in frustration and zipped behind the Princess. He proceeded to push her forward to the stairs.

"Let's go-pumo," Poomo insisted as he pushed.

"Wait Poomo," Fine warned, panicking as she saw the upcoming stairs.

Poomo didn't stop pushing and miscalculated how far away the stairs were. The poomo fairy pushed off on her back with surprising strength, but too late.

"AhhHUH!"

Fine had tripped on the first step down and braced herself to roll miserably down the stairs but felt someone's strong arms stop her. She had her eyes closed and when she felt safely propped up, Fine lifted her head. Cherry eyes opened up meeting dark amethyst eyes.

"Shade," whispered a relieved Fine.

"Are you alright," asked a worried Moon Prince.

Fine nodded and added a smile for extra reassurance. Shade's crazy beating heart eased up at her confirmation. He was heading up to do the same as Bright but noticed that Fine was freaking out. He was quick to notice that she was heading unusually fast towards the stairs and rushed up the steps. Fortunately, he made it to her before anything bad could happen.

"Thank you Prince Shade," Fine smiled kindly at him.

Shade cocked his eyebrow at the formality.

"Why Prince Shade?"

Fine's eyes widened at the words she had just said and smiled sheepishly at the Moon Prince.

"Sorry," Fine explained, "Camelot's lessons are drilled in my mind."

Shade nodded in understanding and sighed in relief. He didn't know why he was relieved, but also wasn't sure why he was left at an unease when the redhead addressed him formally.

"I guess I'm nervous," Fine admitted.

Shade chuckled as he released the grip he had on her arms knowing that she was safe and no longer in danger of falling. He offered his arm to the Ruby Sunny Princess and smiled.

"Don't worry about it," Fine gladly took his arm and he added, "Just be yourself."

Fine's cheeks grew warm, but she was happy for what he said. She was trying so hard to make this day perfect that she hadn't been herself.

"Thanks Shade."

"You're welcome."

Poomo watched contently in the sidelines. He felt terrible for almost pushing Fine off, but felt better when Shade saved her. He felt quite smug about setting the perfect opportunity for the redhead. He looked below at Rein who surprisingly was looking up at him. She winked and gave the little poomo fairy a thumbs up. The doting sister had seen the whole thing and was also satisfied with how things went. Poomo gave the bluenette two enthusiastic thumbs up and winked back at her.

Meanwhile, the Moon Prince and Sunny Princess had reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Shall we," Shade asked, referring to a dance.

Fine smiled, but then gave the boy a pleading look. Shade's eyebrows lifted curiously at the girl's behavior.

" Could we go to the food table first," Fine asked eagerly, "I really want cake."

Shade could only laugh at her request. She had lightened up and was herself again, he should've expected this.

"Sure," Fine's eyes sparkled and he added, "Milky is waiting for you anyway."

The Sunny Princess and the Moon Prince headed over to the table filled with plates of individually sliced pieces of cake.

On the other side of the ballroom a boy was attempting to ask his princess for a dance. He was invited to this ball and even given a tuxedo for the occasion. It was time to return the favor.

"Ummm Lione," Said girl turned around and Hero continued, "Would you like to dance?"

Lione stood still in shock. She was not expecting this and didn't know what to say. However, lucky for the shocked Flame Princess, a certain blonde was close by, listening.

"She would love to dance," Altezza popped up behind her friend, "Wouldn't you Lione."

Lione smiled at her friend, as she was now brought back to reality. She had been floating in her doubtful thoughts not being able to get down. However, the Jewel Princess' push was able to bring her back.

"I would love to Hero," Lione flashed him with a beautifully genuine smile.

Hero grinned in triumph but tried hard to suppress the warmth in his face and the beating of his accelerated heart.

Altezza watched with self pride as the two walked hand in hand to the dance floor. So far her brother and Rein were the only ones dancing. So she was proud that she had added the next couple. In the corner of her eye she watched as Mirlo took her baby brother in the middle of the dance floor and danced with him.

Altezza smiled at the sweet scene and hadn't noticed that someone had approached her side.

"Altezza why aren't you out dancing?"

Altezza whipped her head to the left to find the Windmill Princess standing next to her. Sophie smiled, oblivious to how sneaky she was for the Jewel Princess not to notice.

"Well no one has asked me," Altezza remarked.

"Why don't you ask him then," Sophie asked innocently.

"I can't ask him," Altezza's eyes darted at Sophie.

"Who's him?"

"You know AuleeEEEAOH-

The Jewel Princess caught herself, but it was too late. She basically said his whole name.

"You should ask Auler," Sophie obliviously insisted, "He would love to dance with you."

Altezza's mouth was agape at her friend's suggestion. She looked over at the Windmill Prince, or where she had seen him last. He stood talking to Prince Solo not too far away from the two Princesses.

Altezza glanced at her friend who just smiled back at her. She wouldn't let the Windmill Princess have the last word. She had her regal pride to sustain.

"Okay I will ask him," Altezza decided but excused it with, "But only because a Princess should not be kept waiting and I'm tired of standing around."

Sophie watched with amused eyes as Altezza marched over to her brother.

She giggled as Altezza cleared her throat to gain his attention and properly asked him if he would like to dance with her. Auler was taken by surprise but could only admire the Jewel Princess more for her independent personality. He composed himself before accepting her request and then offered his arm to lead her onto the dance floor. Altezza gladly accepted and took shy steps towards the dance, fully coming to terms to what she had just done.

"Altezza is so bold," Sophie commented to herself, " I should ask someone to dance with me."

She turned around to find a sharply dressed man from the Windmill Kingdom. He had black hair with long drooping silver dog ears. His caramel brown eyes gleamed at the princess's request. He took her offered hand and pulled her to an open space in the dance floor.

By the cake table, Shade had taken his baby sister to dance leaving Fine to enjoy the rest of her strawberry frosted, creamy vanilla cake. He returned alone after a section of the song was over.

"What happened to Milky?"

Shade pointed to the dance floor where Milky was dancing with Prince Solo on her Starboard. Next to them was Tio dancing with the 11 seed princesses. They danced individually on his extended arms and head. Five on each arm and the youngest sister on the Flame Prince's head.

Shade frowned slightly at how easily his sister left him to dance with another. He liked the young Seed Prince so he wasn't too upset, but it still hurt.

Fine placed down her empty plate on the table and scooted herself next the Moon Prince. She leaned forward trying to get in his view.

"Would I be a good replacement for your baby sister?"

Shade chuckled and looked amusedly at the redhead.

He smirked, "You are both gluttons, so I guess it would work perfectly."

Fine folded her arms and frowned at his rude comment. Shade glanced at her and sighed in defeat.

"There is nothing wrong with being yourself. I would love to dance with you."

Fine smiled forgetting her small grudge. Shade offered his hand to the pretty redhead and she took it.

They danced passing Rein and Bright on the dancefloor.

"Rein you are a phenomenal dancer," Bright complimented.

"So are you Bright," Rein shot back kindly.

They have been trying to one up each other in compliments since they started dancing. Both were stubborn and wouldn't let the other beat them. Bright sighed but couldn't help but smile at how much their relationship had developed in the last year.

"Thank you Rein," Bright smiled at the bluenette.

Rein blinked in confusion at the Jewel Prince's words.

"Why are you thanking me Bright?"

He smiled as he twirled her around under his extended arm.

"You saved me in my darkest hour."

Rein stared wide eyed as the boy brought her closer to him and continued to dance. She was blown away by his words. The rescuer never thought of it that way.

"You were my saving grace," continued Bright.

He took notice as Rein's cheeks tinted pink at his words and decided to add something else.

"I guess that makes you my angel."

Rein felt her mind explode and now her face was beat red. Bright quickly averted his eyes with flushed cheeks as the impact of his words dawned on him. They didn't look at eachother for quite a while and before they knew it, the song was over. They stopped as the final note of song faded out to then look at each other. The red of their faces, especially Rein's, died done a little bit. Now it just looked funny to both of them. Relieved that it wasn't a one sided feeling, they both burst out laughing.

Fine and Shade, who had stopped dancing as well, interrupted the laughing blushing fools.

"What's so funny," Fine asked.

Rein and Bright shared looks of acknowledgement to keep it a secret.

"Nothing," Rein responded.

Fine narrowed her eyes at her sister. She knew something was up but decided she would ask her later so she eased up on the glare.

Fine scanned the dance floor and spotted something that she knew Rein would want to see.

"Rein," Fine tugged on her sister's arm and added, "Look over there."

Rein scanned the area and spotted what her sister saw and the cuteness of it made her swoon.

Their parents, King Truth and Queen Elsa were dancing on the dance floor, but not with each other. With their siblings.

Elsa danced with baby Sol while Truth danced with his little Luz. They just twirled around slowly to the music, cradling the little bundles of joy. It was the cutest thing the twins had ever seen.

Shade and Bright had gotten view of the precious scene as well.

"So you girls handling it well," Shade clarified, "You know being big sisters and all."

Fine looked up at Shade and smiled. She didn't have to say anything, but just smiled. The Moon Prince smiled as well, knowing the meaning of that sweet gentle smile.

Rein looked up at her prince charming who was about to ask the same thing.

"I never knew being the older sibling could be so rewarding," Rein beat him to it.

Bright chuckled knowingly, "Isn't it?"

He caught a quick glance at his younger sister who was happily dancing with the Windmill Prince. She was dancing next to Boomo and Princess Pearl who floated in the air as they danced.

As another song started already, the Princes decided to make haste and offered themselves to another dance with their Princesses.

"Sure."

Fine and Rein happily agreed to dance again.

After all, life was like a dance.

You had to join it to enjoy it.
