Author note: Sorry for all my late updates… I have a creative writing class this semester so I will have more updates soon… I am still looking for someone to be my beta reader… just put it in your comment if you want to be the beta… READ AND REVIEW (I do accept flamers because they can help my write better!)
Spirit and Soul started to glow white as the two scythes merged to form a new type of scythe. The light faded to reveal that Dr. Stein was holding a dark red and grey dual bladed scythe in his hands.
"My experiment was a success! I have found a new form of Soul Resonance! I will have to test this with some other scythes to see if the outcome is the same or if each pairing has a different version. I'm going to call this new form of Soul Resonance Weapon Merge" Dr. Stein happily stated as he adjusted the screw in his head.
"Great! Another crazy scientist!" I groaned.
"What was that, Shorty?"
A tic mark appeared on my forehead. 'I can't let my anger effect my judgment. I can go after him after the fight is over' I told myself. "Let's just finish this spar."
He then charged at me and I made a small spark by rubbing/clapping my hands together. I transmuted the spark to create an explosion right in front of dr. Stein. I stayed alert, waiting for him to run out of the cloud of dust kicked up by the explosion. When the dust settled, I could see Dr. Stein, Spirit and Soul passed out on the ground.
"EDWARD ELRIC WINS!" Lord Death announced.
"Hey!" I yelled, "can someone please bring me three buckets of really cold water?"
Naruto and Black Star ran over to me carrying the buckets of water and I took one of the buckets from Naruto.
"Ok, Naruto, you get Spirit, Black Star gets Soul and I will get Dr. Stein. On the count of three we are going to dump the water on them" i then waited till they were in position. "Ready?" Naruto an Black Star nod. "Ok one, Two…THREE!" I yelled as we drenched them in water.
Spirit woke up and used his arms to block his face and screamed "DON'T HURT ME!"
Dr. Stein just sat up and readjusted the screw in his head.
And Soul jumped up yelling "WHAT THE F### WAS THAT FOR!?"
"The three of you fainted after Dr. Stein invented a new technique." I told him.
"Hmmm, makes sense."
"Lord Death also declared me the winner, but only because the three of you fainted." I then looked directly at Dr. Stein, "So I would like to spar with you some other time, hand to hand combat only, no weapons or alchemy."
"I would also like a rematch with you. And I would also like to learn how to do alchemy."
"Only the basics, but before I can teach you I will have to have some books on it. If you can get any books on it then I will teach you alchemy"
"I know of a few places that might have what your looking for. I might even be able to get some by lunch time tomorrow."
"Just get whatever information about alchemy that you find, I would like to see what this world came up with. Who knows, I might just learn something new. Just come and find me when you get something. Oh, and by the way, if you want me to teach you, you will never make any type of comment about my size." I glared at Dr. Stein as i hold out a hand to help him up, "Bad things happen to the people who do"
I watch as he turned deathly pale as he took my hand and I helped him up.
"I will keep that in mind"
"Hey! Ed, Dr. Stein, get over here! I need to tell everyone something!" Kahemoto yelled.
