Hey, guys! Here is the tenth chapter of Holy World War! The Alliance and a few of their allies spend the first day of their four day trip in Ocean City. Hope you liked it.
Chapter 10 – Vacation Time
"That's another." Kouga said.
Kouga picked out another weed.
Recently, the Alliance received some job offers around Danbury for volunteer work that will help them make enough money for their four day stay at Ocean City.
They plan to use the Thousand Sunny to get there, but will need more money than they already have for the time there.
A group comprised of Kouga, Nagisa, Sugino, Blake and Yang were picking out weeds and fixing the children's garden at Tarrywile Park.
"Whew, it's been almost 5 hours since we did this job." Blake explained.
"Guess we, *weeded out* the problem! Am I right?" Yang asked.
Blake pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation.
"Gotta say it's pretty handy to work like this." Nagisa explained.
Sugino picked up three more weeds.
"Yeah. But hey, at least we're doing some labor work." Sugino explained.
"And it's nice to see you two helping out too." Sugino continued.
Sugino turned to see Souma and Maehara returning with empty barrel rollers to where Kouga and the others are.
"Figured what the heck, we be ready for the trip tomorrow." Souma explained.
"That's right. What's the most important thing we need right now?" Maehara asked.
"Huh?" Kouga asked.
"Cold hard cash!" Souma and Maehara replied in unison, having American dollar signs on their eyes.
"We're gonna have fun at the beach, play games…" Souma explained.
"… Eyeballing beautiful girls in swimsuits." Maehara said.
"That's your reason?" Blake and Yang thought in unison, deadpanned.
"I'm telling you we pull this off, we'll have enough money to pull a high-class dinner with a girl of your choice!" Maehara explained.
"Right behind you!" Souma hollered.
Souma and Maehara did a fist bump with their opposing fists.
"Why are we not surprised those two are into flirting than anything else?" Sugino asked.
"That's AN understatement." Kouga replied.
"Maehara-kun's still realizes he's dating Okano-san, right?" Nagisa asked.
"Glad to see you two womanizers optimistic." A voice commented.
The boys turned to see Meredy, Raki and Sun coming from the mansion with several bugs in three different jars.
"How are you guys doing?" Raki asked.
"Feeling good." Kouga replied.
"Doing alright, Blake-chan?" Sun asked.
"Dandy, Sun." Blake replied.
"Where were you four by the way?" Sugino asked.
"Oh, just collecting some bugs." Meredy replied.
"Didn't know bugs were your MO." Nagisa commented.
Meredy giggled.
"I took an interest in biology. Particularly bug life." Meredy explained.
"We found all kinds of bugs in our search!" Raki hollered.
"What do you need bugs for anyway?" Yang asked.
"To put them in a safer area later." Sun replied.
"That so…" Kouga said.
As the conversation went on, Blake started at Sun with a small blush on her face.
Only Souma noticed this and gave a small smirk.
"Korosensei's looking for a rare bug to go along with these little critters." Raki said.
"Where is he now?" Maehara asked.
Out of nowhere, Korosensei appeared with a Karner butterfly in a butterfly net.
Funny part, he's dressed like one too.
Kouga's group became deadpanned.
"You found it?" Sun asked.
"Indeed I did." Korosensei replied.
Something suddenly caught Nagisa's curiosity.
"Is that a butterfly?" Nagisa asked.
"It's a Karner butterfly. They can only be found in northeast parts of the US like New York." Korosensei explained.
"I heard they're among the rarest insects in the whole world." Blake explained.
"Now that's interesting." Sugino said.
"Anyway… we better get ready to leave soon." Kouga said.
"Still an hour left before being done." Sun said.
"Then let's get it done!" Korosensei hollered.
Kouga's group, joined by Korosensei continue their weeding and insect collecting to earn money.

It is now 3 PM, as everyone were now packed and left the Allied Heights on the Sunny to sea.
The only people besides the Alliance going to their vacation were Raki, Selene, Mirajane, Sun, Neptune and Oscar (Ozpin's taking some rest to think of a new strategy for future battles).
The adults stayed behind to focus on searching for the whereabouts of the crystal fragments.
But Korosensei unexpectedly tagged along for the ride without revealing himself.
Most of the boys from Kouga's and Ruby's groups smell the calm air.
"What a breeze." Kouga said.
"So gentle and warm." Ren said.
Unfortunately, the three dragon slayers, Blue and Jaune suddenly got motion sickness.
Team Natsu, the Straw Hats, Team RWBY, Ren and Class E became flabbergasted. Nora laughed.
"Seriously getting sick now?" Isogai asked.
"Probably so." Gray replied.
"How did that happen?" Weiss asked.
"A side effect of having Dragon Slayer Magic." Erza explained.
"No surprise Blue's getting sick now." Blizzard commented, having a sweat drop on his forehead.
"Guess we forgot to mention Jaune has motion sickness as well." Weiss commented, having a sweat drop on her forehead.
"Try not to fall overboard, Vomit Boy!" Yang hollered.
"Chopper, didn't you make more medicine just in case." Happy asked.
Chopper sulked into a corner.
"I didn't make any more since the Four Islands. That bottle was all I had." Chopper replied.
"Guess you five have to bear it for right now." Robin said.
Natsu began to feel sicker.
"Why does my tummy wanna blow?" Natsu asked.
Luffy and Gray laughed.
"Do you think there will be fish, Happy?" Blake asked.
"Oh yeah! I heard the fish served there will be extremely delicious!" Happy replied.
The cat Faunus began to drool upon the thought of eating fish.
"She's lost it." Lucy said, having a sweat drop on her forehead.
Neptune was sulking in a corner.
"Why did it have to be water?" Neptune thought.
"How is it ironic that your name is based on the very thing you feared?" Haruto, Ren and Chiba thought in unison, having sweat drops on their foreheads.

1 hour later from taking the shortest route, the Sunny arrived at Ocean City.
Franky docked the ship near the other ships while everyone else gathered their belongings and prepared to start their fun. Mirajane went ahead to the LaQuinta hotel to pay for the weekly stay.
The rest went to the changing area to get dressed up in their swimsuits.
All the boys already went and got dressed in theirs and are currently waiting for the girls, most currently in board shorts with some wearing an opened button up shirt and a few accessories but with a few expectations: Kouga's and Luffy's were basically red, Natsu's were black with orange flame decals, Nagisa's were navy blue with red flames, Souma's were orange with yellow flames, Ryuho's were teal, Haruto wore dark grey ones, Eden wore light grey ones, Gray wore light blue ones (and kept them on for once!), Happy's were yellow with red lining, Romeo's were tan brown, Gajeel's, Brook's pitch black, Lily and Isogai had basic grey, Zoro wore green ones, Usopp's were yellow, Sanji's was blue, Chopper's were pink, Jaune and Kimura's were plain white, Ren and Sugaya wore dark green, Sun's were blue with yellow highlights, Neptune's aqua blue with a fish-like pattern, Oscar's were mahogany red, Karma's were red with a tribal design on the left leg, Sugino's were baseball style, Maehara's were red and black checkered, Chiba's were pitch black with white crosshairs on them, and Terasaka had sky blue.
Blizzard only wore a purple bandanna and sunglasses, while Zwei wore a red Hawaiian shirt, and Franky remaining in his own outfit.
Most of the boys were feeling a bit impatient.
"Girls sure love taking their sweet time, don't they?" Luffy asked.
"I'm excited to see my angels in their lovely bikinis!" Sanji hollered, showing heart-shaped eyes.
"What an idiot." Zoro muttered.
"What?!" Sanji exclaimed.
Zoro and Sanji got into a heated standoff.
"Some things never change." Karma said.
"We're done." Yuna said, coming out of the changing area.
"Was wondering when-" Kouga said.
Kouga suddenly stopped as his eyes widened.

Coming from the changing room were all the girls dressed in either one or two pieces with different colored short sleeve, open or tank tops, and several accessories but with several expectations: Ruby's wearing her signature cloak over a red and black checkered one piece with frills on the bottom, Yuna wore a white and lavender two piece, Lucy in a white bikini with a pink flower design, Nami in a yellow and orange two piece, Weiss wore a white and blue two piece with glittering sparkles all over the swimsuit, Kaede wore a white and green two piece, Sachi in a light green one piece, Emma wearing a basic orange one piece with white edges, Aria wearing a white shawl over her white one piece, Raki wearing a black one piece, Selene wore her plain yellow one piece and a floral shirt, Erza in a plain black two piece, Wendy in a dark green two piece with a laced skirt, Carla in a light red bikini, Juvia in a dark blue two piece with laces, Levy in a red stripped two piece with white laces, Robin wearing a violet one piece and a floral beach shawl, Aika in a mahogany one piece with a white sun hat on her head, Kumi with a red bandanna around her neck, Blake wearing a black and white string two piece, Yang wearing a yellow string two piece with ring attachments, Nora wearing a pink and white one piece with a thunderbolt symbol on the back, Okuda wearing a white and purple one piece, Kanzaki wore a purple strapless bikini with a light purple skirt, Nakamura wore a yellow and red bikini with a star pattern and her hair tied in a ponytail, Kataoka wearing a sleeveless black one-piece with a triangle hole cut into the stomach, Okano wore a hot pink string bikini with silver glitter along the bottom of the top and a pair of white short board shorts, Yada wearing a pink and white two piece with the top having frills and the bottom having ribbons, Fuwa had on a two piece with a sunset design on the top and black colored on the bottom, and Hayami wearing a yellow bikini with red and white diagonal stripes.
Blue only wore a magenta bandanna, sunglasses, and a small skull chain around her right front leg.
Seeing the girls in their swimsuits caused Kouga, Souma, Natsu, Luffy, Nagisa, Gray, Gajeel, Zoro, Usopp, Jaune, Sun, Neptune, Sugino, Isogai, Maehara, Kimura and Sugaya spat out saliva in shock, Sanji, Maehara and Brook skyrocket with nosebleeds, and the rest of the boys surprised with various reactions.
Happy, Lily, Chopper, Zwei and Blizzard had their mouths open in shock.
Haruto and Ren were the only ones wasn't fazed due to their stoic expressions.
"Guess the boys sure are shocked, huh?" Nakamura asked.
"No surprise the Perv Squad got sent flying." Kataoka commented.
Ruby was in a flustered state upon seeing Weiss in her swimsuit.
"N-Now that we're all here, let's start having some fun!" Kouga hollered.
"Yeah!" The Alliance hollered in unison.

An hour later, everyone began doing their own activities at their leisure until the fireworks display at 7 tonight.
Kouga, Natsu, Luffy, Souma, Gray, Zoro, Sun, Maehara and Terasaka are doing simple beach competitions with Juvia cheering for her boyfriend, Yuna, Lucy, Nami, Erza, Levy, Robin and Yang sunbathing while laying down, Nagisa was helping Kaede on swimming, Sanji was cooking a barbeque, Ruby playing volleyball with Weiss, Zwei, Isogai, Emma, Kataoka, Okano, Sugaya, Nakamura, Blue and Jaune, Neptune staying away from the water by doing his "Junior Detective" hobby solo, Romeo, Wendy, Happy and Aika were building sand castles with Carla, Ryuho and Sachi as judges, and everyone else were either collecting seashells, playing at the sea or venturing around the Board Walk for games and food.
Kouga's group was currently doing a swimming contest to see who can swim 100 meters.
Only Luffy stayed at the beach since he can't swim.
The lead swimmers were Kouga, Natsu and Zoro.
Gray gave a small grin.
"Can't let them outshine me!" Gray hollered.
Gray somehow jumped a bit from the shallow end, with his pants off.
"Put your pants on!" Terasaka and Sun hollered in unison.
"Freeze!" Gray hollered.
Gray quickly froze a small portion of the ocean, which also froze some of the inhabitants by accident.
"That's cheating!" Souma hollered.
"My bad." Gray said.
"Wanna play that game, ice princess?" Natsu asked.
Natsu began to feel fired up as he started to burn the ice.
Kouga soon joined in the mix as he rapidly pounded the ice.
The pressure of their attacks suddenly caused the ice to shatter into large pieces and scatter towards the main land.
Kouga's group began to feel shocked.
"Uh-oh…" Kouga muttered.

Everyone on the beach soon began to see the chaos unfolding.
"Are those ice chunks?!" A male civilian exclaimed.
"Run for your lives!" A female civilian hollered.
"This is crazy!" Lucy hollered.
"Not good!" Oscar hollered.
"Of course those idiots had to cause trouble." Yuna commented.
"Guess we better intervene." Ren said.
- Requip! Black Wing Armor! – Erza shouted.
Erza requipped into her Black Wing Armor and destroyed three chunks at once.
Kouga's group watched Erza make the first move.
"Can't let Erza have all the fun." Zoro said.
"Let's get this party started!" Sun hollered.
- Flame Desperado! – Souma shouted.
- Three Sword Style… 1080 Caliber Phoenix! – Zoro shouted.
- Ice-Make: Ice Cannon! – Gray shouted.
- Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang – Bullet Festival! – Sun shouted.
- Hadoken! – Maehara shouted.
- Metal Fist! – Terasaka shouted.
Souma, Zoro, Gray, Sun, Maehara and Terasaka destroyed several chucks in their area.

The rest of the Alliance stopped their activities and saw the commotion.
"Looks like everyone's going at it." Chiba commented.
"Let's get in there!" Romeo hollered.
"So much for relaxing the first day…" Isogai said, having a sweat drop on his forehead.
The rest of the Alliance began using their abilities to the fullest.
The Acts of Order made their finishing touch.
- Fire Dragon's Iron Fist! – Natsu shouted.
- Gum-Gum Bazooka! – Luffy shouted.
- Crescent Rose – Sniper Semblance! – Ruby shouted.
- Sheathed Blade Assault Style… Dual Impact! – Nagisa shouted.
The four Acts took down the rest of the ice.
Only one remained.
"Kouga!" Natsu, Luffy, Ruby and Nagisa hollered in unison.
Kouga nodded.
"This'll finish it." Kouga said.
Kouga charged at the last ice with force.
- Pegasus Ryusei Ken! – Kouga shouted.
Kouga used his signature technique to destroy the last chunk until there's nothing left.
The Alliance saved the residents from the ice mess.

Everyone regrouped to commend each other for their work.
"Sorry about that." Kouga said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Try not to go overboard with your competitive natures, okay?" Jaune asked.
"Least we did a bit of training." Gray commented.
"Look at Gray with no pants on." Happy commented.
"I see France! I see London! I see Gray with no underpants~!" Nora sang.

Yada, Yang, Blizzard, Blue and Eden covered the eyes of Ruby, Wendy, Romeo, Aika, Kumi and Aria to prevent them from seeing Gray's current state.
"Will you put your pants on!?" Sugino, Maehara, Jaune, Sun, Oscar and Terasaka exclaimed in unison.
Juvia swooned.
"My darling… what a man…" Juvia said, entering her fangirl state.

"So…" Yuna said.
Yuna, Lucy, Levy, Nami, Weiss and Kaede became extremely flabbergasted at the destruction they reeked.
"We're gonna have a huge damage bill for this." Kaede explained.
"Already the first day and something happens." Levy commented.
"Why can't any of us have just ONE day without destroying something?" Nami asked.
"Those idiots…" Weiss muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose.
Lucy sheepishly laughed.
The first day of the gang's weekly trip kicked off with a bang.

Lucy: Except for the part you guys nearly destroyed the entire beach.
Usopp: That was Gray and Natsu's fault for causing that ice-lake-and-punch-a-thon!
Lucy: My boyfriend and Gray are usually the first to start something.
Haruto enters the scene.
Haruto: Let's not forget Kouga in that mix.
Lucy & Fuwa: You scared me!
Yang: Your ninja skills sure come in handy, don't they?
Haruto: It's a talent I use in my battles.
Fuwa: I'm so excited I wanna be both a warrior and a ninja!
Haruto: I think you got your priorities mixed up.
Lucy: Sheesh…
