Izuku, Tenya, and Ochaco were respectively shocked when Koncor dragged them away, and him sprouting a third arm from the back of his head. It was purely mechanical, but still functional. "So, team, what's the plan?" Koncor asked, and the other three stared at him. "What? You're looking at me like I have a third eye, which honestly isn't that uncommon."
"Konny, I… I don't wanna work with you." Ochaco said, and Koncor collapsed. "You alright?!"
Koncor rose, and coughed. "Why not? The four of us will be unstoppable! Your Quirk allows for great mid air mobility, I could defend the team offensively, Tenya's speed can get us out of any situation that's too dangerous, and Izuku… Well, all Izuku has to do is land a hit or not, and our opposition is literally blown away! This is the perfect team setup, no matter the scenario! We all know each other's Quirks well already like the back of our hands. They is literally no reason for this to not be a thing."
"I don't want to chance fighting you…" Ochaco explained, and Koncor's demeanor slowly changed. After making some quick plans, and nodding, he quickly left the area, and plucked three people, dragging them away. "Iida! Deku! We should be able to do this, right?"
"Yeah! Totally Uraraka! You ready? Iida?" The stoic student firmly shook his head.
"Midoriya, I'm not entirely confident I can take you on, or that even the two of you without support will last. For these reasons and others, I decline the offer to join your team. I wish you the best of luck."
Koncor got a few mixed reactions. "You actually have a plan?" From Tsuyu of course.
"What makes you think I would work with you?" From purple hair.
"Why me?" Rikido asked, and Koncor chuckled.
"I figured you all would have this questions and or doubts, but you have no choice in the matter." Koncor explained, and while Rikido shuddered, both Tsuyu and Purple Hair merely raised an interested eyebrow. "You, mind control man, what's your name?"
"Hitoshi Shinso, what's it to you?"
"Everything, Hitoshi." Koncor's mind went blank, and he just stood there. For about five seconds, before his slapped over the head by Tsuyu. "Whew, that was much more violent of a reaction than I thought I would get." Koncor said, cracking his neck. 'Thank you Tsuyu, I owe you one. I was careless.' Hitoshi stumbled back. "How did you…"
"I'm a shape-shifting demigod, you think I'd be stupid enough to not have a countermeasure against mind control?" Koncor questioned, kicking his body back into gear. 'If it was not for Tsuyu, I'd be screwed.' "Anyway, plan is, you all survive while I go around in midair and take care of all the opposition."
"Survive? Why would we need to do that?" Tsuyu asked, putting a finger to her mouth.
"Cause I'm stealing Ochaco's headband, the instant the battle starts. I need that thing, 10 Million?! I'm going to get that, and I don't need a team to do that. What I need is a team to return to, once I steal it." Koncor said, and his potential team was a bit worried.
"What makes you think they'll leave us alone?"
"I'll be a floating target that can drop sleeping gas nearly the second I need to, attacking other teams, and just all around causing havoc in midair while I mess with others and set up the tournament the way I want to."
"Then what's our purpose?" Rikido asked, and Koncor couldn't help but laugh.
"If it wasn't obvious enough already, I picked all of you for a few reasons. Sato, while your Quirk is rather basic, in the sense that it gives you only a five times strength boost, it is sufficient enough to at least be decently used in taking attacks and jumping, correct?"
"I guess, but the longer I hold it, the less control I have. I just keep getting dumber."
"That's what Hitoshi is for!" Koncor said with a smile, gesturing to the purple haired Quirk user.
"What?"
"Easy, I pump him full of sugar, you take control of him, and order him around. His lack of control will be compensated for your total control, and he'll be able to jump almost or just as high as Tsuyu, who in this ideal plan, could be the backbone to your dodging efforts thanks to her quick reflexes and strength." Koncor offered as an explanation. "Hitoshi, once I return, with the headband in hand, it's where our teaming capabilities maximize, if your Quirk works like I think it does." Hitoshi raised an eyebrow. "Now then, note that your Quirk works as long as someone hears you, and responds, but what if your voice was used in tandem with another's?" Hitoshi shrugged. "Alright then, let's test it!" Koncor told Hitoshi to say something, in three seconds. "Hey Rikido, you're useless!"
"Hey, shut…" Rikido froze and Koncor cackled. 'Damn it all, I need to stop doing that.' Koncor thought.
"Anyway, it works! As long as they hear your say the same phrase as me, even if my voice overpowers your's the Quirk will still activate. That's perfect! Right, now for the team setup!"
While Team Koncor was formed and being happily lead, Tenya watched from afar. "Iida, I need you focused on this. We can talk about the plan to eliminate Koncor next."
"'Scuse my rudeness, Todo, but I kind think we need to discuss the eliminate Koncor plan." Denki said, gesturing to the grinning battle fiend. "Considering his team, I'm guessing he's planning to be on the offensive, and since he kinda destroys your ice naturally, can apparently neutralize my electricity, kinda just bodybags Yaoyorozu, and I bet he has some plan for Iida that I could not even understand."
Shoto let a cold stream of air leave his mouth, and looked at his main threat. "That's why we catch him off guard."
"Koncor cannot be caught off guard, his Quirk allows 360 degree vision, and his reflexes are nothing to scoff at." Momo pointed out, and Shoto nodded.
"Koncor, i 1, yes, has an advantage. Due to his ability, he does have a wide range of sight that allows him to react. However, we have never seen him hunted like he will be today."
"Hunted?" Tenya asked, intrigued.
"Yes. Koncor, while gaining second place, just marked himself as a large target. He's the one who knocked everyone out, destroyed a few people, the only person to get any eliminations, and insulted the entire freshman body in a matter of moments. If he's restricted as I think he will be, he'll be too busy trying not to get his team destroyed to be able to dodge. He's fast, but not the fastest thing alive."
"Makes sense, I suppose. Then, Todoroki, I'd like to forfeit my position as leader of the team to you." Tenya said, and Shoto raised an eyebrow. "In terms of speed, I surpass Koncor by far in ground combat. I've also been training with a new technique in order to completely override his Quirk's reaction amplification abilities."
"Alright. That works then, I'll take the headband."
"Ok, we have our two powerhouses, but what about me? I don't see me doing much with my useless electricity."
"I'm assuming that's where I come in? I did inform you of the 100 mm insulator sheet, did I not?" Momo questioned Shoto, and Shoto nodded.
"Yes. That means Kaminari can use his full strength without harming us." Shoto offered, and Momo tapped her chin.
"Koncor can absorb electricity."
"He won't be able to absorb all of it, and his team cannot. That's all that matters." Shoto said, and his group agreed. "Now then, the setup."
Ochaco, who after being glared at hungrily for her top spot, sighed. She had not wanted to ward off Tenya, he was the only true counter to Koncor that would work in this scenario. Deku and whoever else her other two members would be, she had a fierce doubt that they would be able to match. Sure, she could tag him, but based on how he just used that to amplify his speed, it would be pretty pointless. Unless she had Deku slam him into the ground repeatedly. And by repeatedly, she meant eight times. And that was all on the assumption that Deku could even grab Koncor!
As Ochaco and Izuku respectively pondered their options, all Ochaco saw was a flash of pink hair. "Uraraka! Would you like to work together?!" Mei asked and Ochaco jumped. She then glanced at the machines Mei wore.
"Do you have another cloaking device?" Ochaco asked, and Mei pondered.
"Not on me, no. Konny drained all the power and impaled my only one." Mei said, and Ochaco sighed. "However! He didn't destroy my jetpack! SO… Since you can make yourself weightless all you need to do is fly away, right?" Ochaco nodded, and smiled.
"We need one more person." Ochaco said, turning to Izuku who was running over to a certain bird headed student.
"I'm killing both of them!" Katsuki snarled, his palms igniting at the sight of a chuckling Koncor and a confused, yet confident Ochaco.
"Calm down man, we're going to fight them soon!" Kirishima said, tempted to hold back his 'friend' but too scared to touch him.
"What is the plan?" Mina asked, being reluctantly dragged into this. She had been hoping to join a higher team, but Koncor had dodged her expertly, but she was pretty sure this was accidental. Ochaco had already gained a four man team, and team Todoroki had formed. This was her best option.
"Kill them both!" Her best option…
"No! An actual plan!" Mina sighed, crossing her arms.
"You! Alien, you're holding up the back and blinding bitches! You, turtle boy,"
"My name's Kirishima!"
"You're the front on tank so in case that glowy eyed bastard thinks it's funny to lunge head on, you're taking the hit!" The explosive teen turned to Hanta, who was sweating in fear "You're bringing me back if my midair fighting plan fails! Got it?!"
"Yes!"
"Alright! Let's kill this shit!"
Everyone was set up, and arrived on the field. Koncor's team had taken up a strange setup, a controlled and sugared up Rikido at the front, Hitoshi next to Tsuyu in the back, however slightly behind as Koncor squatted on Rikido's shoulders. With his eyes activated and his silent studying look, the audience was rather interested in his plans.
Team Shoto had Shoto on top, Denki in the back left, Momo to the back right, and a focused Tenya leading the charge. Tenya was glaring down Koncor, who remained silent. Team Ochaco was set up as well, Fumikage lead the front, Izuku to the back right, and Mei to the back left. Ochaco had a few gadgets on her, and Koncor was considering shutting those down He recognized a few things he helped build, and the threat they posed. Team Katsuki was ready to go as well, and Midnight and Mary looked over the field.
"What's your son planning?" The pro asked her ally, and Mary chuckled.
"Something interesting that most likely involves aerial combat." Midnight nodded, and yelled for everyone to begin. On the crack of the whip, Koncor vanished from Rikido's shoulders. Two nearby Class B teams were shocked as they lost their headbands in the opening seconds, a one was spin kicked off their team. This savage force then proceeded to lunge across the entire field, robbing weaker prey of their headbands through quick movements and a lack of visibility.
"Ochaco! Watch out! Koncor's…" Before Izuku could even finish his statement, Koncor appeared, floating in front of Team Ocacho.
"Hello, you want to trade?" Koncor questioned, and Ochaco was confused. Before an answer could be decided, Fumikage trapped Koncor in his Dark Shadow. "Really? This is your Quirk? Worthless, it's weak in light. In fact…" Koncor transformed his his arms into bright lights, and the Dark Shadow instantly recoiled. "Trade or not, you have no choice!" Koncor sent a punch across a shocked Fumikage's jaw, a spin kick Izuku's raising hand, and switched specific headbands with Ochaco, before flying upwards. Upon his 'return' to the field, the crowd went insane, many of the pro heroes intrigued with the diverse moveset of this U. A. freshman.
"Hey! Any of you want these back!" Koncor called in a mocking tone. All of the people he robbed, and everyone who saw the scoreboard, everyone watching had a mix of excitement, wrath, and determination. "Come and get me!" Koncor dove back down, and was instantly charged by two different teams. One got to him first, and he blocked a punch with a diamond arm, from a little guy, and when he went to retaliate, he felt a force upon his right arm that threw him off balance.
"Face my Twin Impact!" The little man called, making a fist. "Anything I land a hit on, will feel another force exactly where I landed the blow!" Koncor, who recovered in midair after dodging a girl with horns charging him at max speed, chuckled.
"That's it? That weak hit doubles?" Koncor asked, grinning. "Let me show a REAL double hit." Koncor vanished again, and before the little man or his team could react, the short man was punched in the stomach, and by a forceful gust of air, like bowling pins they were knocked right on out of the arena. Koncor reappeared on Rikido's shoulders, yawning. "Easy pickings. Hitoshi, give me a target."
"Give me a threat list from 1-A." The purple haired mind controller asked, and Koncor chucked.
"I know them. Of the lower tier, I'm not risking higher level fights just yet."
"What about that invisible person?" Hitoshi asked, and Koncor nodded, leaning back and lunging.
Kyoka saw this attack and got very worried. She didn't say a word, but let her ear lobes lunge at Koncor. Koncor, pretty confident in their potential for damage, knocked them into the ground. When she pulsed, the ground cracked from her heartbeat frequencies. "Interesting… Could you explain that to me, Kyoka?" Koncor asked, dodging Yuga's laser, and ripping off Toru's headband, and sending a blast of air directly to said girl's face, making her crash into Koji. Due to recoil, Koncor was blasted right back into midair, and he floated there quietly, reading the field for threats.
Ochaco, who was very confused on what just happened, checked her new headband. It was the one Koncor originally had, and it had something scrawled on the back. 'Don't trust those bearing breaks in battles…'
"Uraraka! Are we good? Is Koncor not hunting us down anymore?" Izuku asked, and she sighed.
"I honestly have no idea." She answered, and then they saw the ice spire. Koncor dodged it easily, and slid down it, seeing the team that dared to attack him. When another came for him, he punched it and then proceeded to eat it. Then he noticed Denki about to activate his Quirk, noted his team's location, and transformed his hand into a blade, spinning and slicing the spire that he was coming down. After knocking it in the direction of the attacking team, he saw them dodge, and Koncor rushed them as Tenya slowed to a stop.
"SO! You think you're FUNNY!" Koncor yelled as threw a air powered burst at them, and Shoto quickly formed a wall. The wall took the force, and Koncor flew back. He landed back on his team, Rikido not flinching from his arrival. "Got it." Koncor said playfully, balancing on one foot as all the teams stared him down. "Now then, I think it's time for me to just have some…" Koncor ducked the explosive hand, and sent a punch directly in Katsuki's stomach with a burst of air that pressed Rikido into the earth with the recoil. "YES! FUN!" Koncor lunged after Katsuki, who was being pulled back to his team.
Katsuki, realizing the mistake he had made in rushing that dangerous warrior that hunted him down, barked an order at Mina, who threw acid at Koncor, as dangerous as possible. Koncor blasted the liquid away, and his hand began to spark with electricity. "Turtle-boy! Block!"
"I can't…" Koncor sucker punched... Hanta, after spinning around Kirishima and taking out Katsuki's recovery method.
"You don't need to block!" Koncor declared, electrocuting Hanta, landing on Mina's face, and air boosting away from the hand that aimed to tag him. "In fact! You may need my help soon, so bye!" Koncor said, before boosting away. Katsuki snarled, but was tagged instead. Before he could respond he lost his headband to an explosive hand, and his whole team was pushed back.
"Huh, it appears that all of Class 1-A are not idiots. How fortunate." A blonde said, wrapping his new headband around his neck. "Let's go team. We're hunting down that flying guy."
"Are you sure Monoma? He's pretty strong…" One of his teammates asked, and the guy nodded.
"Yes… Nothing better than taking a person down from their high…"
Koncor whirled around and landed on his team, who was being charged by more fodder. "Hitoshi! Ready?" Koncor asked, crossing his arms. He got a nod, and Koncor using a transformed hand as a screen gave Hitoshi some lines. And a mic!
"BACK OFF YOU WEAKLINGS!" Hitoshi yelled, and Koncor broadcasted it.
"Who you calling we…" A beast man began to roar, but then crashed into the ground.
'Only one….' Koncor thought. 'Oh well!'
"Attack your team!" Hitoshi ordered, and the the beast man attacked his own team, throwing them away in a roaring rage.
"Aren't you idiots going to listen?!" Koncor yelled. "Back away!" He said in sync with Hitoshi, and that got a response.
"Hey!"
"Shut your mouth!"
"Di…" The different teams froze, and Koncor grinned.
"Destroy each other!" Hitoshi ordered, and suddenly there was a barrage of Quirk being thrown about. Koncor, unsure on what to do, shrugged.
"Tsuyu, Hitoshi, get us out of here." Koncor ordered, and the two nodded. In one swift jump, they were in the air. Not very high, but high enough that Koncor could be confident a stray shot couldn't hit them. "Okay, guys, I'm pretty tired, so I'll be stuck with you guys on the defensive for a bit."
As they landed, Tsuyu questioned, "How?"
"Full body cloaking and creating pure light drains the body and the mind." Koncor responded, looking about the field. "I already finished the failsafe when I was cloaked, so... We're good." His team nodded, and Koncor began to watch an interesting scuffle.
"Iida, what do you want?" Ochaco asked as team Shoto stalked up to them.
"Koncor gave you his second highest headband. Why else?" Tenya asked, and Ochaco sighed, took a breath, tapped her own hand, and activated the jetpack. She was gone in seconds, and out of sight with her headband. "Well. I suppose we shall leave." Tenya turned his whole team, and before any arguments could be made they were gone. "Todoroki, shall we attack Koncor?"
"Yes." Todoroki responded, firing off a spire of ice at Koncors team.
"Hitoshi, our left." Koncor said, and Hitoshi ordered Rikido to destroy the attack. He did, and Koncor glared at Shoto. "Really Shoto? Ice? What do I look like? Hanta?" Another spire, and Rikido punched it again. Koncor ate the remains, and watched as Tenya charged them. "Hitoshi, Tsuyu, jump." They followed commands, and Koncor looked down on the field, deactivating his eyes. "I'll be back. Defend on your own." Koncor flew up, and his team was forced down to the ground. He kept flying higher, having spotted his target. "Hello, Ochaco." He said, his transformed hand sparking.
"Really Konny?" She asked, and her opponent nodded. "Bye." She touched her finger tips together and fell, and Koncor sighed. He dropped, and kept his hand sparking. When he electrocuted Shoji, the tank fell to the floor, and Mineta cursed as he was trapped in there with some random Class 1-B member thanks to his own Quirk. Koncor spread open the cocoon, and tore the headband from a flailing Mineta's head. Then as he closed the cocoon, he waited, uncloaked. Everyone on the battlefield was staring at him, and he just squatted there, waiting. Everyone was tentative about approaching him, now that his hands were claws, his eyes were flaming full force, and he was absorbing air from holes on his arm.
"Now!" Neito yelled, and Koncor, having seen the attack coming, ducked and burst away on an airstream. The blonde cursed, and his team lunged for Koncor again, who dodged effortlessly, and went over to team Katsuki.
"You want my help?" Koncor asked, and Katsuki threw an explosive hand his way. Koncor casually dodged it and pointed to Katsuki's bare neck. "You have nothing right now. You should be happy I'm even offering."
"And who's to say you won't betray us, bastard?!" Katsuki snarled.
"And who's to say that I will?" Koncor responded, dodging Neito when he was reaching for by flying upward. "Honestly, I'm the one risking betrayal. Right now, the floor is the definition of lava." Koncor stated, and Katsuki snarled. "Stop acting like an animal, and…" Koncor ducked Katsuki when he lunged for him, but realized the plan once Katsuki used him as a midair foothold. Grinning, Koncor allowed it and burst with him as Katsuki lunged through the air with explosions.
"I take the lead! You follow and support!" Katsuki snapped, and Koncor nodded.
Neito turned, and reached for Katsuki, but Koncor came from the sky, slicing the hands in a swift movement. "Idiotic 1-A! Now I have your Quirk and Ex…" When Neito went to activate his eyes, nothing happened. "How…" Katsuki didn't give him a chance to ponder when he dropped an explosion on his team while Koncor was sealed in a ball of air. Snatching his headband back, and the others on the guys neck, he flipped off Koncor's air bubble, and created an explosion.
"Gotcha dumbass!" Katsuki cackled, and he was punched in the stomach by an invisible force. Then he was air blasted away, nearly out of bounds if it wasn't for Hanta.
Koncor reappearing on his team, was smiling. "Who's the dumbass now?!" He called, opening his palm up and cackling. He observed the teams now lunging for him, and calmed. "Enough of this…" Koncor muttered, bursting off Rikido. He just vanished into the sky, and did not come down for a minute. His team, confused, just jumped away. Tenya stared up at the sky, knowing his friend.
"He won't be gone for long. He's too intrigued by this battle setup." Tenya said, and Momo's eyes widened.
"You're right! Todoroki, be on…" Todoroki was slugged off his team by Koncor, who appeared on contact. "Kon…" A shot of glue filled Momo's mouth as Koncor whirled around, and Denki in fear, discharged. Koncor happily took in the new source of energy, soaking it in. Todoroki, recovering off an ice spire after shielding Tenya and Momo, yelled for his ally to stop. Koncor's eyes, now energized like the rest of him, gained a slight blue tint. In a blast of air he was gone, and so was this new burst of energy. Grinning from the new sensation, he made a fist.
"I'm draining him of all his power…" Koncor snarled hungrily, and before he could be argued with, he lunged again.
"SMASH!" Koncor hadn't seen the attack coming, but he had heard the forceful repercussions flick. He burst upwards, but was still knocked off balance by the gust of air. As he was nearly blown out, Dark Shadow lunged in. Koncor grinned and clawed into the beast of shade, and realigned himself, before releasing light in order to ward off the sentient shadow beast. Post flying back into the ring, he returned to his team.
"How did that go?" Tsuyu asked, and Koncor scoffed.
"It's about to go swimmingly." Koncor vanished from sight again, and wasted no time in flying over to Denki in peace, and then devouring his energy directly through his neck. By the time Shoto realized that Koncor was even there, due to the crackling noise and Denki choking. Koncor uncloaked, grinning like a madman as he was juiced up. He kicked off Denki, but not expecting the boost to be that much was sent flying by his own force. He nearly snapped Denki in half, and as Koncor nearly crashed into a wall, eliminating himself, before opening his palms, absorbing air, and bursting back to his team. Hitoshi reacted before Koncor did, yelling for Rikido to catch the energized assailant. The second he landed, Koncor power's faded. "What the?! Come on now! Only five seconds?!" He whined, which then turned to a snarl as his eyes went up in a strong blaze, his hands crackling from electricity of their own. "You know what… There's only two minutes left and I wanna test something." He looked toward the blown up team that he and Katsuki had manhandled. "Nevermind, something else." He looked at team Shoto, and his eyes dimmed. "Got it." Koncor stated, coughing. "Shoto! Take out the trash!" He yelled, and the ice man looked his way. "I know you can! Now do it!" Koncor ordered, and Shoto merely lunged, ordering Momo to do something.
As Momo created, Koncor prepared. As Shoto took the spike in his hands, he froze the ground on the way to Koncor, locking everyone down. As he robbed the few remaining headbands, Koncor transformed his hands, Katsuki was rushing in without his team, and Ochaco was being picked up by Izuku. As everyone charged Koncor, the man exhaled. He blocked the ice spire, slammed Katsuki into the remains, three him at team Shoto, and was surprised that Ochaco didn't lunge just yet. After getting rid of Katsuki, Tenya sighed witth his team.
"Get it, Todoroki." Tenya stated, and before anyone could react, he used it. Recipro Burst allowed a rush that even beat Koncor's reaction speed, and Todoroki robbed him of the headband around his forehead, and then Ochaco came in from the side and stole the other one around his forehead. As Katsuki lunged back in, Present Mic declared time was up. As Shoto and Ochaco grinned, they looked at the board, and were shocked. Koncor still had the 10,000,000 headband?!
"Wait, but I have…" Both said in unison, and Koncor began to cackle like a madman.
"Yes, you have headbands! But I have the 10,000,000, or at least the real one." Koncor flashed the real one, and showed that all the headbands on his neck display 10,000,000. "While I was cloaked, I made plenty of backups. Just in case." He offered as an explanation, and he was glared at. However, this didn't matter. What mattered was the fact that Tenya was fast enough to blitz him before he could even react, and this was while weighed down by his team and roller skates. Koncor sighed in annoyance, but couldn't resist a smile. This would be fun...
AAAAAAHAHAHAAHA! KONCOR BLACK HERE! MAY THE TOURNAMENT BEGIN!
"You are weaker than you appear."
"My apologies, I've been lied to enough today."
"You, I want you to bring out his full potential."
"Bad."
"I won't lose!"
"I'm done with this."
