Alright everyone, welcome back. I've got some very important announcements to make and questions to ask, so please stick around to the end.

First and foremost, let me address the question burning in your minds right now. Where is this story going next?

There are many different directions I can take this story in, which was one of the things that most inspired me to use this plot. As I'm sure you've all figured out, the end goal is for the Clans to reach Sacramento, California. It is going to take quite a while for this to be accomplished, making this likely a 100-125 chapter story. Along the way, cats from the original lake group will die, and others will be lost. New OCs will be brought in when necessary.

This is where I need your help. I need plenty of OCs to bring into the story, with their time spent in the story varying depending on when and how they are needed. I can't possibly come up with enough OCs on my own, so I need you guys to pitch in some of your own. If you would like, you can fill out the following form in a review or a PM to me:

Age:

Feel free to submit as many as you'd like. The first person to submit an OC gets their story featured in Chapter 9, if they have a story written to feature. Don't be afraid to submit. Any submissions are greatly appreciated and will be credited.

Now, speaking of Chapter 9, I want to start off the true plot line with a bang. I'm going to go through Chapter 9 slowly, trying my hardest to make it as good as possible. I can say for sure right now that there will not be a lot of action, but there will be drama. After all, you can't have a crisis without drama. I can also say with confidence that we won't be seeing any major character deaths next chapter. As for when the chapter will be out, that's a tough one. I want to take my time with this chapter, so it could be a couple of weeks before it's out. It could be sooner than that. At this point, I cannot give a definite answer as to when it will be out.

You can now begin to expect a new chapter every 1-2 weeks. Summer vacation is coming up fast, and when it comes it will bring with it much time to write and many ideas to write about. I'm hoping to be at Chapter 20 or 21 by the time summer actually comes at the beginning of June, perhaps even further. Conflicts will begin to arise as the story progresses, and we will see our protagonists encounter a force equally as dangerous as the Twolegs who still have yet to leave them be. We will also begin to see some characters struggle with holding on, and more devastation and loss come down to weigh on them even more.

Now, on to a few announcements that aren't exactly related to this story.

First, I'm sure any of you who are following me know that I've just begun Part I of a multi-story arc in the Pokemon universe. A lot of my upcoming time will be devoted to getting that story going, as already it seems to be well-received. My other story, The War Between the Gods, is struggling in comparison with this story and The Kanto Journeys. I will be continuing to write The War Between the Gods, but due to it being less popular and not as well-received it now stands at the bottom of my priority list.

I would like to start writing a leisure story as well. What a leisure story is, for those of you who don't know, is a story that I write at a slow, leisurely pace. I don't take it too seriously, only writing for it after my serious stories are where I want them to be. The point of writing a leisure story would be for me to take my mind away from the rigid, serious plots of this story, TKJ, and TWBTG. I am currently running a poll to see which leisure story I should write, and I ask that you please check it out.

Sometime in the future, likely near the start of summer break, I would like to begin a Human Warriors story. The story is still in early planning and the full plot has not yet been conceived, but the general idea is that a girl named Dana Frost attends Thunder High thinking it's nothing but an ordinary high school, only to find out the school may be harboring a dark secret. I know there are so many high school Warriors stories out there that it's becoming cliche, but people like them and I've wanted to write one of my own for a long time now. So look forward to that coming up sometime in June.

And finally, the questions. I'll accept answers in a review or a PM, doesn't matter. It is very important that these questions are answered for the sake of this story, so please take the time to answer them!

1) Would you like to see a time skip between the end of Chapter 8 and the beginning of Chapter 9?

2) Are there any cats in the current roster that you would like to see get a POV, preferably one in a different Clan?

3) Would you rather see Rowanstar die, Mistystar die, or neither die?

4) Do you like chapters that are full of action, or chapters that are slower and more dramatic?

5) Would you like to see SkyClan thrown into the story at some point?

And now, as thanks for reading this entire update, here's a preview for Chapter 9:

The Clans, shattered after the loss of the place they thought they'd never lose, begin their journey to a new home. However, they come to realize that it isn't going to be as simple as it was before. StarClan seem to have abandoned them, leaving the Clans to find their own way out of this mess. Tensions rise as opinions clash, and our protagonists come to realize that the time of the Clans may be coming to an end.
