Ch. 11

Leabella; Lelouch 7

"Alright, Lulu, Bella," Consort Marianne started as she walked into her twins' shared bedroom, "time for bed."

"Aw, but. mother," the two said in unison. Both were sitting across from each other at a table with a chess game currently underway. Each gave their mother pouts.

"No, 'but's," Marianne said picking up Lelouch from his seat to take him to his dresser, "You two will remember where you left off." Lelouch still pouted as his mother started to remove his princely clothes and exchanged them for soft cotton blue pajamas. Once she was done, Marianne moved over to Leabella—who was already at her dresser, and Lelouch went to the joint bathroom to wash his teeth.

"But, tomorrow you're taking me to etiquette lessons," Leabella pointed out as her mother started for the buttons of her dress. "Maybe…"

"Oh, no," Marianna interrupted her, putting Leabella in her night gown, "All princesses need etiquette lessons." Leabella pouted, and Marianne smiled patting her daughter's head, "You can play when we return from the lessons." Leabella let out a small smiled as she went to the bathroom to join her brother.

Once the two were ready for bed, Marianne ushered them into their shared large bed. The twins entered the bed at opposite ends of the bed, and they ended up together at the center surrounded with blankets. Marianne said subconsciously as she moved to kiss both on the head, "Maybe, I should set up for both of you to get separate rooms…"

"No!" Both siblings cried and hugged each other.

Marianne chuckled, "You two are too old to sleep with each other."

"We'll stay like this forever," Lelouch said sternly keeping his sister close to him.

"Lelouch," Marianne smiled at her son's antics, "Your sister is going to have to marry someone when she get older."

"No!" Leabella yelped, "I'll never marry anyone.

"Unless it's me!" Lelouch said.

"Yeah!" Leabella said brightly, "We can get married, then we can always share a room and a bed."

"Alright, alright," Marianne said quieting her twins. "Now, go to sleep." She exited the room leaving both of the children. She sighed. Those two were going to be hard to separate once they got older if they stayed like this. But, they won't always be like that, right? Hopefully…

Leabella and Lelouch grinned at each other in the dark.

"I win," Leabella said after a moment of silence.

"What?"

"Don't you remember?" Leabella shifted, so her head rested comfortably on the pillow that the two shared, "Euphy, Nuna, and I were fighting about who would be able to marry you one day. I win."

Lelouch blushed at that, "Ok."

Leabella giggled, "They're going to be mad."

Lelouch blanched, "They're going to put me in a dress again." Leabella giggled again, "It's not funny!" Leabella muffled her laughs and he grumbled. Both were quite for a while listening to the quite Aries Villa at night. "Bella?"

"Yes?"

"Will be always stay together?"

"Yes, of course. "

"Forever?"

Lelouch felt Leabella move her arm from around his waist to rest on his cheek, "Forever." Even in the dark, both siblings saw the sparkle in their matching eyes.

Leabella; Lelouch 10

Nunnally smiled brightly as she looked at herself in the mirror before her. Leabella was standing proudly behind her looking over her work on her little sister's head. Nunnally's shoulder length hair was made into small braids that ran across her head leading to a high pigtail. To top it off, Leabella tied a satin ribbon into a bow at the base of the pigtail.

"Alright alright, you're done. Can we go now?"Lelouch said sitting on Leabella's and his bed frustrated.

Leabella huffed, "No, come over here." Lelouch grumbled, but made his way over to his sister. Leabella got him by the collar when he got to her making him grunt. She adjusted his collar, straightening it out and fixing his ascot. She moved to his coat making sure everything looked right before moving to the mirror to examine her attire. Her new dress was light and brought out her milky skin and her dark hair that was in high twin pig tails with small bows at the end of them.

Lelouched watched as his older sister nodded to herself satisfied with her appearance. "Alright, now we can go," she said turning to him.

"Oh, aren't you two just adorable!" a noble woman gushed over the twins. They were matching with Lelouch in a powder blue suit and Leabella in a fluffy dress of the same color. "Happy Birthday," the noble woman said then turned to the woman behind the prince and princess, "Your highness, they are just angels."

"Thank you, Claudia," Marianne said. The looked down at her two children. Two pairs of big violet eyes looked up at her, "Go, say hi to everyone, Lelouch, Leabella."

"Yes, mother," the two said obediently.

The two women looked on as the two children walked away holding hands.

"Lulu, Bella," Nunnally said rubbing one of her eyes, "I'm sleepy."

Leabella and Lelouch looked around for their mother, so she could put their little sister to bed. Their eyes landed on Marianne who was in a deep conversation with a Duchess of whatever. Leabella sighed, "C'mon, Nuna, I'll take you." She turned to her twin, "You stay here, okay? Mother will be upset if the both of us are gone."

Lelouch grumbled, "Fine."

"Goodnight, Nuna," Leabella said softly brushing a soft strand of hair out of her little sisters sleeping face. Leabella made her way out of her little sister's bedroom, shutting the door with a quite click. Leabella sighed observing the dark hallway as she made her way back to the ball room.

"Well, here you are," Leabella whipped around. She came upon a boy with long light blonde hair that went down to the floor in waves. By his clothes, she could tell that he was of high status. His magenta eyes bored in to her stolidly.

"Who are you?" she asked keeping her distance from the strange boy.

"Oh, well," the boy place a delicate pale finger on his lips, "I suppose you really don't have to know my name." His eyes wondered towards the window, "But, I am in the royal family."

"You're not one of my siblings," Leabella said, "Are you a cousin perhaps?"

"No," the boy turned to look at her, "Goodbye." The blond boy skipped off down the hall.

Leabella was about the call after him when someone evidently called to her, "Bella? Mother is calling for us." The princess turned to see Lelouch at the entrance of the ball room. Leabella sighed letting the thought of the strange boy go; he most likely wasn't anyone important anyway.

one month later

Leabella wanted to whine very much. Her brows were twitching with how much she was focusing. She lifted the delicate tea cup and took a slow sip. She looked over at her mother. Consort Marianne smiled delighted by her child. Leabella looked over to the right to see Anya. She was a small little girl who was taking etiquette lessons. So, her mother thought it was a great idea to lump the ten years old princess in the lessons as well. Hesitantly, Anya looked over at Leabella then did as the princess did with her own cup of tea.

"Lovely, girls," Marianne commented. "Now, I believe we are down for today."

As if by fate, a guard entered the room at its entrance. He spoke, "Your highness, master V.V. is awaiting your arrival."

Leabella tilted her head in wonder of the mysterious person, V.V. Her mother rose from her seat. "Anya, you're driver should be outside for. Leabella, find Lelouch and get ready for bed," Marianne said before leaving the girls. Once they were gone, Anya turned to Leabella with her camera. Leabella looked over at her as she took a photo.

Leabella smiled, "You really do love that thing, don't you?"

"Yes, it was a gift from your highness after all," Anya said looking at the photo, "Thank you, Princess."

Leabella smiled at the little girl. "Alright," she started getting off her chair, "I'm going to go look for Lelouch. Goodbye, Anya."

"Okay. Goodbye, your highness," Anya replied. Both girls exited the room, going their own ways. Anya with the guard; Leabella on her own.

"Lelouch?" Leabella questioned the air in their shared bedroom. She grumbled when she got no answer, closing the door. She started down the hall, "Where is he?"

That's when it happened. She heard gun shots, and she jumped in fright. She whipped her head around, trying to figure out where the shots came from, but with such a large estate, the sounds echoed through the halls confusing her.

"Lelouch!" she whispered harshly under her breath darting down the hall. She ran already; her heart beating in her ears. "Where are you?"

"Where is who?" A voice asked as she passed a corridor. She yelped when an arm grabbed her gruffly. She started to cry out and struggle, but a cloth covered hand came into her vision enveloping her mouth and nose. "No! Lel-mph!" She fell unconscious in the arms of her attacker.

"Do you have her?" a childish voice asked from behind the person.

"Yes, Master R.R.," the captor answered lifting the princess in his arms.

"Good," Richard walked up to her. Softly he ran his hands through her hair. Purposely, he tugged an a couple strands and they came from her scalp. He let the strands of dark hair fall to the ground like feathers. "Let's go. The guards will be here soon."

Isabella 17

Kaname swallowed roughly. He felt a drop of sweat run down the back of his neck as he looked over at the gathered group members. He looked over at Yuuto. Kaname couldn't understand how to man was just standing there calm. He tensed up when Yuuto spoke out, "C'mon, you two have been staring at each other for the past minute."

"Ah, shut it," Isabella shot back. Kaname grimaced looking on as she studied Kallen's posture inside the circle of group members. Isabella smirked "C'mon, Cupcake, you're the one that wants to go on this raid. Prove that you got what it takes."

Kallen growled at the nickname Isabella had given her. She stayed still for a moment before rushing up to the blonde with a swinging punch. Isabella efficiently blocked the punch and the multiple ones after that. The surrounding group watched in anticipation. They knew that if Kallen was anything like her brother, then she would be a fighter. But...

"Good," Isabella commented smoothly, "You have strength backing up those hits. And, you're not holding back," Isabella used a calculating eye predicting Kallen's attacks. Isabella smirked and chuckled. All except for Kallen, Yuuto, and Kaname shivered at that. When Isabella and Yuuto first joined the group, they went through the same initiation. That was the day that they found out that Isabella was scary as hell in one on ones.

Isabella got a hold on Kallen's calf when she kicked at her. The group took in a sharp breath. Isabella twisted Kallen's leg restricting her movement. The group kept their eyes trained on the two girls. "You lack strategy." Isabella gave a small push letting go of Kallen's limb making her stumble. "Now, think about what you're doing."

Kallen huffed. She wanted desperately to wipe that smirk off of blonde's face. Kallen tensed when Isabella charged at her. Some of the group members yelped at the Britannian's sudden movements. Kallen tried to block all of the attacks but some got through. Isabella was now frowning as she struck once more stopping just before her fist connected with Kallen's nose. The crowd was still. The half Britannian took in a breath eyeing the fist just an inch away from her face.

Isabella narrowed her eyes at Kallen, "You don't have any defensive ability." She withdrew her arm, "You can go on the raid." Kallen looked after Isabella as she walked up to Yuuto. "But, you're staying with Kanme. No straying off."

Kallen gritted her teeth, "Fine."

That night

"This was almost too easy," Isabella grumbled. They walked around the almost empty mob base. When they had arrived at the 'target,' they took the group by surprise, easily taking them down.

Yuuto bent down slightly to her height to whisper in her ear, "Compared to what, Miss Wrath, the vampire of Britannia?"

Isabella jumped whipping around shouting, "Shut it!" That caught everyone's attention even some of the tied up cronies in the corner of the building. Isabella faced forward ignoring the stares she was getting. She said lowly, "That was the name I had in Belarus, not here."

"Yes, your highness," Yuuto whispered chuckling.

"Yuuto."

"Yes?"

"Shut Up."

"She's weird," Kallen commented frowning. She observed Isabella and Yuuto conversing from some ways away from the two.

Kaname looked over at the two, "Yeah. They have an odd relationship for a Britannian and Japanese. But, in all honesty, Isabella doesn't act like a typical Brittanian. Hell, she even speaks Japanese." Kallen's widened her eyes in surprise as Kaname looked over some boxes opening them, "Oh, we need these. Hey, Kallen, help me here, will you?"

Kallen looked over Kaname's shoulder seeing a heavy looking book title "KNIGHTMARE CONTROL MANUAL" atop thick large cords in a box, "What are they?"

Isabella lifted the large tarp off some equipment expectantly. She exclaimed brightly, "Found them!"

"Really?" Yuuto said jogging up from where he was looking among the hardware. He had to walk around a few large crates under some pipes to get to her. How the hell did she get through this crap? When he got to Isabella, he groaned. "They just have to be in there."

Yuuto pulled Isabella a little ways away from the edge of where the cement floor dropped down suddenly. It wasn't that big of a square hole. Isabella pulled more at the tarp, exposing the two knightmares huddled at the bottom of the hole. They were both the same model, and an old one at that. They didn't look that used though. One was a bright red, while the other was a vivid green.

"Now, we just need to find the keys," Isabella said looking around.

"Found them," Kaname's voice stopped her wondering. He and Kallen each were holding medium sized boxes struggling through all the obstacles in their way. They placed the boxed down on a crate, and Isabella scurried to them.

"Okay," Isabella started going through the things inside. "Instruction manual," she brought out a large book from each box. She gave each of them to Kallen and Kaname. She dug through the box again, "Charging cords," Isabella said moving the thick cords out of the way in the boxes. "And…keys!" She took out a key at the bottom of each box, each color coated for their designated knightmare.

She turned to Kallen and Kaname, "Alright, guess we're done."

"Alright," Kallen replied already leafing through the manual.

"Where did you say you needed to go?" Yuuto asked as he and Leabella still in her disguise got in his car.

"Llyod's facility," she answered. "He's assistant gave a notice to me that the new knightmare was ready. I want to check it out."

"You're going as Isabella?" he asked as he turned on the road.

"I didn't bring any formal attire," she looked down at her clothes, "This should be fine for Isa to wear."

"Hello, Miss Isabelle!" Llyod exclaimed when Isabella made her way into his hanger.

"It's Isabella," she said taking a cup of tea from Cecile, "So, the Princess wanted me to check on the Lancelot."

"Ahh~" Llyod flew over to the other side of the hanger with Isabella following him. They came upon the glorious white knightmare.

Isabella's eyes sparkled up at the piece of machinery, "Wow."

Llyod eyed her merrily as he went to a desk by the Lancelot. He walked up to her as she continued to be mesmerized by it. He quirked an eyebrow at the girl, "I'll need this signed to start looking into the soldiers files. The knightmare is beyond advance for any normal knightmare pilot, and I need to make sure that the soldier is qualified before suggesting him or her to the princess."

"Good," Isabella said taking the document while still looking up at the knightmare. It looked even more great now that she saw it complete. Now, it was just a matter of time before she found a pilot. She grinned and turned to the earl.

"So, if the princess wants to suggest any candidate tell that I am open ears," he said.

"I tell her," she said handing him the documents and walking out.

Llyod tilted his head in confusion. He watched as Isabella walked out of the hanger with a giddy smile on her face. He raised an eyebrow at the girls behavior, and he looked down at the document finding that it was now signed by 'Leabella vi Britannia'.

"Huh," he muttered then shrugged it off.

Leabella 17

"Poisonous gas?" Kichiri questioned, "What do they plan to do with that?"

Leabella frowned, "I'm not entirely sure. Britannia isn't developing weapons like that, so that would mean that Bartley is supporting it as a side project. I'm almost positive that Clovis has something to do with it, too."

"What would the prince want to do with poisonous gas?" Masanori asked.

"Kill his invites at the next ball," Yuuto snorted. That got Leabella to look over at her computer to eye Bartley's profile. Bartley and Clovis flaunted their admiration for 'Elevens,' but she new what the two really thought of the Japanese, her squad.

"Bella should know," Richard said from his corner of the office.

Each man turned around to face the boy, "What?"

Leabella raised an eyebrow at the boy. "What does Britannia do when they want to hide something?" The girl's eyes widened, and she mentally slapped herself.

"Damn," she muttered, "Stupid! Seriously? How did I not see that?"

"Wait," Yuuto interrupted, "What?"

"We're going to get the group to steal it, aren't we?" Yuuto said unwillingly.

"Yup," Leabella said thinking over the operation in her head. She dug for her cell phone in her pocket and dialed Kaname's number.

She put the call on speaker, and they listened to the ringing till it picked up. "Hello?" a man's voice said through the connection.

"Hey, Kaname," Yuuto spoke.

"Yuuto, hey, what's up?" Kaname replied.

"I got something big," Yuuto said walking around the desk to see the shipment document. "What do you think about stealing Britannia's trump card?"

"What?!"
