Sorry for late updates schools back and I am waiting until the next break. Well like my story and no burn.

ch 11: The Exams Have BEGUN!

Kane and the rest of squad 7 were on their way from yet another mission, when he noticed a mysterious figure in a dark alleyway directing him to come. "Hey, I'll see you guys later I'm going to go train before I hit the sack."
He got nods reassuring that they were going home safely.

He then shadow teleported to the figure making no one was to see him. "I'm here. What is it you want..." he paused waiting for the hooded figure to reveal a man roughly in his mid 20's, black hair, and red eyes. "Itachi-sama, I thought you left the village for that secret mission the Hokage put you on."

"I am still...they are not making their move yet, but that's beside the point of why I'm here. I came here to check on my brother and Naruto-kun while not to be seen, Hebi." The man said in a serious tone when he said Kane's True name. Making the teen growl at the memory.

"I thought I'd asked you to never call me that again. After I got away from that damned snake I changed my name, hair color and a genjustsu to cover his tail and wolf ears...but there is always the mark..." he paused rubbing his neck where his curse seal is. (AU: If I get burned for this then you've got no imagination...or know how Orochimaru works. He has the heaven seal like Sasuke)

"Hm, I'm sorry that a child like you had to endure something that he did to you. But please, take care of them...I know he hates me, and I want him to, for I want him to be seen as a hero to the village and not the enemy." Itachi said in a still so serious tone. All Kane did in return is a nod and shadow shushined his way to the exams.

(Exams part one/I'm skipping the actual exams for the reason that it's to boring to write)

The three other members are waiting by the door when they heard a gust of wind pass by them...when they turned around, they saw their red headed swordsman saying, "Well, here we are. You guys ready for this?" They replied with nods prepared.

"Alright let's get the entrance over with..." He then boots the door on it's hinges landing on a punk looking Oto ninja. "Oops I landed on trash." Kane said despising the Sound village, he was tortured there along with several others. But the difference was that, he could regenerate any part of his body in mere minutes, even organs.

'Great so they Had to let the sound test their ninja...sigh, I guess we'll just teach them not to mess with us.' he thought. Then his glance landed on Orochimaru's main spy Kabuto, 'So he has Kabuto seeing that his ninja are safe or...' Kane didn't need to worry because a friend he had taught him the Konoich justu of changing your hair color.

'Thank you Anko-chan...now they'll never recognize me. I hope that sis is alright...' He then left going to his table as they began.

(After)

"...PASS!" Ibiki said with others confused but Kane just smirked. "Now when your next instructor arrives, you will..." But he was interrupted by a woman Kane recognized as Anko Mitarashi arrive with a banner hanging with her yelling, "Alright you maggots...What the Hell Ibiki you said there would be less!" She said with Ibiki smirking.

"What can I say...their better than last year's group." He only got a huff from her as she said, "Alright now meet up at the Forest of Death by 17:00 ASAP!" Then she was gone in a poof of smoke. Kane waited for everyone to leave first as he followed Kabuto.

When Kabuto stopped...Kane sent chakra into his hearing to listen into the conversation. "Did you get any information for me Kabuto? and did you see Hebi anywhere?" Kane was surprised by his worried tone for his sake.

"Yes and no, I've got the data on the new genin...especially Sasuke-kun." Kabuto said riling up Kane, 'Sasuke...why does he want Sasuke?" It took him a while till one thing came out like a breath, "Sharingan." He then shadow teleports to the forest entrance waiting on Anko's speech.

"Alright maggots, some of you have heard or have even been in the forest." Glances to Kane, "And to point out...yes, they are true! now go to the booths to get your scroll but first sign a waver in the mean time!"

Kane was walking over to his squad till a red headed sound ninja walks up to him with a questioning look, "Do I know you from somewhere?" He then looks from side to side seeing that Anko is messing with Naruto. "Yeah it's me...Hebi..." But before he could continue the whisper, he then was strangled by her hug.

From a distance Sakura was getting envy of her. "Look at that!" yelled inner Sakura. "How can that little red headed sound girl hug our teammate like that cha!" 'But why is she acting like she knows him and hasn't seen him in like...forever?' She thought with her inner self finally agreeing with her.

Back with Kane she than let him go and whispered, "I was wondering if you made it here...since you planed to get here..." She then crosses her arms after fixing her glasses, "So, how is my boyfriend doing?" Sakura heard this and face vaulted with inner Sakura mad as hell. "That bitch is his GIRLFRIEND! No way Cha!" 'What...she knows him and is calling him her's...what is their relation?' she thought.
