~A/N Hey there fellow fangirls, and possibly fanboys, I don't know. Whatever. All of my chapters are short. I need to work on that. Last chapter we had Loki actually controlling Natasha, bet you didn't expect that one. Had to do it. Actually I didn't, I write this as I go along, but causing drama is so much fun. I'd kick myself if I missed that opportunity to mess up a characters life. I talk to much, sorry. To the story!
*Clint's POV*
Every day Clint worried over Natasha. He forced himself to sleep, seeing as last time he couldn't even help when they had found her. All of the agents at Shield practically dove out of his way he was always so irritated. Even the other Avengers seemed frightened by him. They were all stronger them him but he was ten thousand times more fearsome with Natasha in possible danger. Correction: probable danger. She was with a god, every second she was near that madman her life was at risk. And she was at risk of being discovered. That was his big concern, that Loki would find of and she would be put under control for real.
*Tony's POV*
To say that Clint was stressed would be an understatement. He was particle going mad with worry. Tony had no idea Clint could be so scary. It was frightening to be within the same room as him. To make matters worse Clint was constantly playing with dangerous things. As an outlet of stress he fiddled with his favorite dagger. He always had his bow and quiver on him, always has his knife on his hands, or in his reach. One agent, a rookie (that was obvious because agents who were above level one knew how dangerous Clint was), made the mistake of mentioning Loki's name and Natasha's name in the same sentence. The rookie asked his S.O "Loki is that crazy god right? The one who took that assassin? What if he's just trying to put us on edge?" His S.O tried to cut him off but the agent just kept talking. "'Cause if that's the case it's defiantly working on that guy." The idiot motioned to Clint. All of the other people in the room froze. Clint didn't even look up, he just threw the dagger. It would have hit the rookie square in the forehead if his S.O hadn't pushed him down. Clint just retrieved the dagger and walked away.
*Loki's POV*
Natasha was much more obedient now. He should have realized how often she did the bare minimum of what he told her to do instead of the most outstanding an enslaved mind could handle. Natasha's fiery passion had somehow went through the magic. Most people didn't get to keep that, she should feel grateful. But she most likely did. If it was what he wanted, it was what she did. Loki could call Natasha to him like a dog and she wouldn't even care. Speaking of... "Natasha, dear, would you come hear for a moment?" He called her with the connection the Tesseract had built between them. She entered the room and gracefully knelt before his feet. "My lord, you called me." She did not look up. She wouldn't until he told her to. "I have a mission for you." She nodded without lifting her gaze. "I need you to go to the Avengers. Give them a false report of what's going on here. Stay the night. If they ask how you escaped tell them I sent you to place bugs so I could hear what they were planning. Plant some, if the others find them I don't care, we don't need to hear what they say." She spoke softly and, for the first time since he controlled her, fearfully. "What do you want me to do about Agent Barton? If I come back he will expect me to do the same I would normally do. We are married." That was surprising. He didn't expect them to be wedded. "How long?" "Three years my lord." "Do what you would normally do then. Sneak into his room, smile, laugh at his jokes, kiss him, whatever is needed. Let's get you ready to go back."
*Natasha's POV*
Her main conscious was happy. She was glad to serve her master Loki. He treated her with respect an kindness. He didn't ask a lot of her an made her feel comfortable and at home. It was her subconscious that was the problem. That was where her personality was trapped. It fought to escape but she couldn't. She saw an heard everything that her main conscious did, but she fought against it. 'Why can I understand what is happening?' She thought 'Clint and Selvig said they didn't know what they were doing, and had no memory!' Maybe the hits to their head made them lose their memory? But that didn't matter, what mattered was regaining control of her body.
*Clint's POV* ~It's the next morning~
Another day with Nat in danger. Clint got dressed, brushed his hair and teeth, and got his weapons together. It was a struggle for him to get ready without Natasha by his side. The Avengers were being awfully loud for breakfast time. Normally the sat in silence because they were to tiered to speak. They'd probably woken up everyone in the tower by now. When he got into their personal dinning room he saw what the clamor was about. "Nat!" He cried and ran up to her. He spun her around in a huge bear hug. "I thought he had killed you by now." He said to her. She snorted "Like he could kill me. Good to see you Clint." And she pecked his lips with a quick kiss. Tony didn't care but the others looked awkward. "Right." She winced. "They don't know yet." "Alright. Natasha and I have been married for three years. You can't tell anybody, it provides a weakness." he spoke to the others. They all looked genuinely happy for the pair of assassins. The rest of the day was spent with Nat and the guys. She handed Tony some bugs and said that was why she was sent over. It was a relaxing and happy day of bonding for the team, and they ended it with a drink at Tony's bar. "I have to leave first thing tomorrow." Natasha announced. The mood dimmed at the reminder that she had to go back. All of them said goodbye to Natasha and they split up to go to their appropriate floors. About twenty minuets later Natasha spilled out of the air vents. "Not as graceful as usual." He noted "Not as sober as usual." She corrected. He hugged her tight to his bare chest. "I love you." "Love is for children." She murmured sleepily "Then I guess I'm a child." "Me too." They fell asleep aside each other, almost forgetting that she was going to leave in the morning.
*Natasha's POV* ~next morning, just before dawn~
Natasha woke up and immediately started getting ready to leave. She watched Clint's sleeping form as she did. Just as she was about to climb out the window Clint woke up. While her real mind was happy he was able to catch her before she left, her controlled mind was irritable at the delay. "I didn't wan to wake you." She said to him. "At least let me say goodbye." He seemed upset that she tried to leave before seeing him. Clint hugged her tight. She smiled and slowly pushed him away. He sadly said good bye and she climbed away.
~A/N I don't know. Loki wanted to set them on a false trail I guess. That guy's brain is like a bag full of cats. You can smell the crazy on him. Excuse my quoting, it seemed like the right time. Honestly I have no idea where this story is going. I'm crazier than Loki people. You never know what's gonna happen here. From last chapter I would like to ask if anyone recognized what I was saying about Natasha's past. I haven't read the comics, but I want to know if anyone has. (But not I like f00d. I know you recognized it. You are exempt) Anyways Review, follow, favorite! I love you guys, and I will see you latter.
