Elena POV
"Damon," I whisper.
"Yeah Lena," god I love it when he calls me that.
"I love you too by the way, I uhh..I just figured you should know," he looks as me, stunned since I'm guessing he didn't think I heard his romantic outburst.
"I-I love you too," he says as he pulls me in for another kiss. "Fuck, I really fucking love you," he says as he places me on the bed and snuggles up to me. We lay in bed for the rest of the day, laughing, telling stories, kissing, and for the first time in a while…I feel safe.
Elena POV
Fifteen years. Fifteen whole years since Damon and I found out that I wasn't pregnant with Johns baby. Those were some of the worst times of my life, but Damon was there to save me as always. Everything thing I have in life I owe to Damon, he's saved me from not only John but from myself. Without him I probably wouldn't be here. I would've missed out on High School and College graduation, watching the people I love reach success in life with me, have the 4 beautiful children I have today. He's truly given me everything, including himself.
Our senior year Damon knocked me up with my eldest sons, Cadence James Salvatore and Kent William Salvatore…twins! God I know, we didn't see that one coming but they're perfect…even when they're being pains in my ass. Then about a year later I had another boy, Eric Keith Salvatore. After I had Eric, Damon thought his dreams of having a little princess one day was gone even though he adored his three boys. About two years later Damon knocked me up with a beautiful baby girl: Sophia Rose, daddy's little princess. Those two are attached at the hip. It's adorable. Watching my kids grow up and giving them the life that they deserve means the world to me. Over the years we've had our ups and downs but in the end we're a family and mean a lot to each other.
As I said before, without Damon, I wouldn't be here today. And that applies for my children also. Damon and the kids have given me nothing but happiness and love and there will never be enough words that show my love, adoration, and appreciation that I have for my family.
Damon and lie in bed after an amazing Sunday. All of the kids and our friends came to dinner and it was amazing. We were all joking around, laughing…there may have been a little wrestling too, but we all just relaxed at home on this beautiful Sunday evening and had fun. Looking back at my life, I realize that I couldn't have asked for a better one…ever.
"Goodnight Mrs. Salvatore," Damon says as he snuggles up to me in bed like he does every night.
"Good night Mr. Salvatore. Thank you for today, and every day since you've been here for me. I love you so much," I said kissing the inside of his neck.
"I love you too princess, don't you ever forget that," he said sweetly before pulling me into a passionate kiss.
I thank Damon for being there for me everyday, and maybe one day, he'll finally get through that stubborn, gorgeous head, that he will truly, forever, be my savior.
I'm sad to say that this is the end of this story. Thank you for everyone that still follows my story/stories. I apologize for being the worst updater everr lol but I'll try to be better about it. I hope you all enjoyed this story because I did! I'll be posting up a new story that consists of multiple one-shot stories that will carry out as a full story just in one chapter possibly so I hope you'll all look into that and read it.
