Hey you guys! Sorry for not posting up anything in so long. Final semester of school before i transfer to Cal State LA! Woop! So all of my concentration has been focused on school _ But the semester will be over in 8 weeks so hopefully before then I can post up a chapter or two but if not it will happen in 8 weeks _ jeez that's terrible. I'll definitely try to update earlier.
Anyways here you guys go. Enjoy. I believe in the next chapter I am finally going to bring back Itachi~ So if you've been missin some him and Koumori action ... it's comin~

"You think Koumori will be proud of me Kakashi-sensei?"
"Definitely. You put up a good fight out there today. Now come on, I have to seal that mark."
Sasuke thought back on his fight with Yoroi Akado. It was a hard fight especially because he couldn't use any chakra but with the lion combo he was able to defeat Yoroi. Now he was tired and he just wanted to get this sealing over with.
It's been 5 years since the massacre of his clan and it had been 4 years since he had last seen Koumori. The Hokage had sent her off on a mission and she hasn't been back since. Sasuke had almost given up on believing that she was still alive until a note had turned up on his bed with a bat hanging from his window. The note had said she would be back soon and she would draw the symbol of the land she was in on the corner of the letter. The latest letter had the symbol of the Land of Tea. She should be back soon.
"Are you ready Sasuke?"
Sasuke let out a long sigh and nodded his head.
"Yea. Let's get this over with."
"Okay then, let's get started."
"I miss her too."
Kakashi stared down at Sasuke as he lay asleep on the hospital bed. Everything that has happened to Sasuke has been taking a big toll on him. His want to avenge his family, the want to kill his brother and the fact that Koumori has been gone for more than 4 years has also been affecting him.
"It's going to be her birthday tomorrow."
"Who's birthday is it tomorrow? And who's her? Did you find yourself a girlfriend while I was gone Kakashi? Makes me a little sad that you forgot about little 'ol me."
Kakashi swiftly turned around from the hospital bed and at the doorway.
"Koumori?"
"Duh, who else could it be? Well I mean I obviously don't look the same anymore. How old was I when I left? Like 12 or 13 or something? Jeez. I've been gone for so long I don't even remember my age."
Kakashi just stared at her bewilderingly as she kept on talking to herself.
"When did you get back?"
"Just a little while ago. Hokage-sama caught me up on everything that I have missed while I was gone."
Koumori walked in to the hospital room and went to lean on the window sill.
"So he's finally going to become a chunin. Brings back memories about my chunin exams. If I remember correctly I think this is the same room that I stayed in when I got injured."
"Koumori, I –"
"It's okay Kakashi. Thanks for taking care of Sasuke for me. It must been a real hassle."
"Koumori, I –"
"Hokage-sama already told me about what happened to him. It was something you couldn't help, even if I was here, he probably still would have gotten it. That sneaky Orochimaru sneaking into the exam. How did he even do it? He really is sneaky. Coming and marking Sasuke like that."
"Koumori, would you –"
"It's going to be up to him at the end really if he wants to up and leave. I know Orochimaru probably promised Sasuke the strength of the gods if he joins him."
"Koumori! Would you listen to me!?"
Koumori stared at Kakashi shockingly and then just slowly nodded.
"Sorry Kakashi, what were you trying to say?"
Kakashi sighed and walked over to where Koumori was sitting. As he approached her he swiftly pulled her into a hug and held on to her tightly.
"Where have you been? You've been gone for so long, I thought you had died."
"Why would you think I was dead? Have you lost that much faith in me? I didn't become an Anbu captain at 12 for nothing."
"It's not like that. I just hadn't heard anything from you in such a long time."
"Huh? I've been sending letters to Sasuke. I was sure that he might have told you that I've been keeping in contact with him."
Kakashi just deadpanned at Koumori's statement and let out a deep sigh.
"Koumori, Sasuke didn't even know I existed until I became his teacher."
Koumori pondered what Kakashi had just said and then just cheerfully smiled at him.
"Oh yea. I totally forgot that he doesn't know we know each other. Sorry about that Kakashi."
"Jeez Koumori, what am I going to do with you?"
Kakashi shook his head and looked back over at Sasuke to see if he had awoken from the ruckus but he was still fast asleep. The sealing must have token a lot out of him.
"Let's go grab something to eat Kakashi. If I remember correctly before I got sent on my mission I left you to eat alone so let me make it up to you."
"You always leave me when we're about to eat."
"It's not my fault. Hokage-sama is always calling for me right when we are about to eat."
"Can you promise me that you won't up and leave then, at least this time?"
"I promise I won't. Plus, Hokage-sama has officially given me a 2 month break so he won't be bothering me."
"Mmmm."
Koumori grabbed Kakashi's arm and began pulling him out the door of the hospital room.
"Come on. I really want some Konoha made food. Food from home is always the best. Let's go to Shushuya! I want some yakitori!"
"Since it's going to be your birthday I guess we can go there."
"Yes! Let's hurry up and go then. I'm starving!"
Koumori hurried ahead of Kakashi wanting to get to the restaurant as fast as possible but in the process ended up almost bumping into a healer nin who got shocked and ended up throwing her papers up in the air. Koumori hastily apologized and began to help the nin pick up all her papers.
Kakashi shook his head at the sight and smiled a little to himself. She had been gone for so long that Kakashi had forgotten what she was like until he saw her now and everything came rushing back to him. She definitely loosened up and is a bit more open with her personality now but she was still the same Koumori. The Koumori that he had missed.
"It's good to have you back again."

Koumori is back!
And truth be told you guys, I know I had one person who is rootin, but should I delve more with this Kakashi and Koumori relationship? (It will still be an ItachiKoumori thing but hmmmm _ ...)
Anyways, hopefully I update soon and hope you guys liked this chapter!
Oh and btw imma be working on two flashback moments for now for this story. Definitely thinking of a third. I wasn't planning on having this story long so if it feels rushed sorry you guys that's why to make up for it I want to ass some flashback past story plots aha.
