The next day the team was getting ready to leave to get ready to end the zombie apocalypse. Before they left however Elsa walked into Jack's room to see if he was up for the challenge.

"How are you feeling Jack?" Elsa said sitting next to him on his bed.

"Lot's better actually. I think I should be good to go." Jack said

"Are you sure?" Elsa asked "I don't want you to risk injuring yourself more."

"Elsa, no way in hell I'm going to let you have all the fun." Jack laughed. "Besides it was only a stab wound, it's not like I got my leg cut off like Hiccup did."

"Speaking of which I wonder how Hiccup is?" Elsa asked herself wondering if Hiccup was healthy enough to make the journey.

"Hey, everybody is waiting in the helicopter." Anna said bursting into the room. "We are just waiting for you."

"Ok we're coming." Elsa said helping Jack up real quick. Then the three of them walked out of the hospital and into the helicopter, whose motor was already running and waiting for everybody to get in. As Elsa and Jack climbed into the helicopter they noticed Hiccup was sitting in the back with Astrid and Stoick.

"Didn't expect to see you up for this mission." Elsa said

"Hey, it's going to take more then a loss of limb to knock me out of the game." Hiccup said

"Is this everybody?" Sparrow asked as he got into the pilot's seat and grabbed the controls.

"Yeah this is everybody." Flynn said, noticing everybody was on board.

"Then we are off then." Sparrow said as the helicopter lifted off the ground. "Next stop the lab!"

About thirty minutes later the helicopter landed in front of the lab that Merida had fond on her laptop and the whole group got out.

"What is your business here?" A young man around his thirties wearing a white lab coat and thick round glasses came out and asked the group as they piled out of the helicopter.

"We are in need of your assistance." Flynn said walking up to the man. "The apocalypse is getting worse everyday as those walkers claim more and more victims. We think we might know how to stop them but we need to get a hold of your illness vaccines.

"How come?" The man asked. "Those vaccines are very important for research purposes, we have been studying them to try to find cures for some of the worlds deadliest diseases."

"I understand sir but right now we have to think about mankind's survival." Flynn said "The walkers are only biting people who are healthy because they need a healthy host if they are going to survive. They will not attack a host who is sick. If you can give us some kind of virus. Then we can use that as protection from the walkers, and be able to destroy them without risk of being bit."

"Something like that will come with a huge risk." The scientist said "Most of the viruses and diseases we have stored in here are very lethal and could easily kill you if not taken care of."

"Then give us a non lethal virus." Flynn said "The fate of the world rest on stopping these things. This may be our last chance."

The scientist thought about what Flynn said for a moment before sighing. "Come inside, I need to show you something." The whole group then followed the scientist inside the lab.

"What you are saying makes a lot of sense." The Scientist said "I have actually been wondering the exact same theory that you have. The thing is none of my co scientist have been brave enough to test out the theory."

"How come?" Elsa asked

"Well, you see him?" The scientist then pointed to a sealed off glass room that contained a lone walker. Beating it's head against the glass attempting to get out.

"How the hell did you get a walker in there?" Elsa asked

"Well you see." The scientist said "It broke in a couple weeks ago and tried to attack me and my crew. We were able to trick it into running into that room and trap it in there so it wouldn't get out. I've been wanting someone to test the theory out that you mentioned ever since. But everybody has been to terrified of that creature to do it. If what you said is true, then I need a brave volunteer to test it out first."

"I'll do it." Merida said stepping up in front of the group.

"Follow me then." the scientist said leading Merida to a lab table where there was a syringe that looked like it was filled with some clear liquid.

"Lift up your sleeve." The scientist said grabbing the syringe.

"What's in their doc?" Merida asked as she lifted up her right shirt sleeve.

"A non lethal virus." The Scientist said "It will make you feel a little dizzy and nausiated and you will have a mild fever but it won't kill you."

"You know when I get shots it's usually to avoid getting sick." Merida complained

"Just hold still and relax, this won't hurt much." The scientist said as he poked her with the needle and injected her with the virus.

"Now wait about ten minutes before going in there." The scientist said after injecting Merida with the virus. "If you go in there to soon and the virus hasn't kicked in then it will do no good."

"How will we no when the virus has kicked in?" Merida said lowering her sleeve.

"You will start feeling a little light headed." The Scientist said.

After about ten minutes Merida put her hand on her forehead and leaned against a wall.

"Ok doc I think it is kicking in."

"Good then it is time to start the test." The scientist said. As Merida grabbed her bow to arm herself the scientist started to unlock the door.

"Now you will need the walker to come after you, we need to see if it will still bite you even with the virus or not."

"One question." Merida asked. "What if this doesn't work?"

"Well then nice knowing you." The scientist said.

Merida gulped when she heard that as the scientist unlocked the door and pushed her in there before locking her in. She was now trapped one on one with the walker. The walker turned and spotted her and ran toward her as Merida readied her bow, her hands shaking like a leaf. No doubt she was scared to death of that thing. But they needed to know if this would work. With everybody watching the walker ran toward her but as it neared her it stopped, and glared at her. Merida and everybody on the outside watched as the walker walked around her, not once biting or scratching her, like it was one of them.

"Well I'll be damned it worked." Merida said.

"Well done Merida." The scientist said, "now feel free to kill it."

Merida shot three arrows into the walker, the final one being in the head as the scientist unlocked door and released her.

"Well done Merida." Rapunzel said congratulating her when she got out.

"I must admit, that took guts." Susan said

"Thanks now where is the nearing trashcan. I think I need to puke." Merida said holding her stomach as she ran toward the first trashcan she saw and barfed in it.

"Can you give us multiple vaccines of that virus to use against the walkers." Flynn asked as Merida was still throwing up in the trash due to the virus.

"Even better. I will make copies of it so you can give it to the military and wipe out these things once and for all." The scientist said

"But next time though." Merida said walking up to the scientist and holding her head due to dizziness. "Give me something a little less powerful like the common cold or something." Anna just snickered at Merida's expense.

The next few hours consisted of the scientist making copies of the virus and putting them in syringes for the team and military to use against the walkers. Most of the team then put them in cases and then in steel boxes to load into the helicopter, all except for Merida who was laying on a table in the fetal position moaning due to the virus.

"Ok that should be it." The scientist said putting the last sample into a case and locking it. "That should give you what you need to stop these things.

"Thank you sir." Jack said "We couldn't have done this without you."

"Anything to save the planet." The scientist said

"Quick question." Merida said "How long does this virus last?"

"Oh the symptoms last at least a good week" The scientist said Merida nearly barfed again hearing that she would be dealing with this for at least a week.

All of a sudden they heard a crashing sound coming from the front of the lab. Jack went to see what the noise was and that's when he saw them. Dozens of walkers had entered the lab and they were out for blood.

"Shit!" Jack cried running back to the gang. "We've got to get out of here now."

Jack, Flynn, Merida and Elsa grabbed their weapons and tried there hardest to fight of the walkers while the others grabbed the boxes filled with the virus and tried to make a run for it. As they headed for one of the exit's more walkers crashed in.

"Turn back!" Flynn cried shooting at one of the walkers.

"If we die then hope for mankind dies with us!" Astrid cried taking out a sword and beheading one of the walkers.

"We're not dieing now move dammit!" Flynn cried.

As they were running trying to find a way to the helicopter and to safety more and more walkers were coming for them. The ones that had a free hand were trying their best to take them out but there was to many of them to hold off.

Jack knew that to. He knew that there was to many for all of them to get out alive. They just had to make sure that they got out with the virus, so mans last hope wouldn't die with them. When they got to the nearest door Jack opened it and kept shooting at the walkers until the last person ran through. That's when he made the toughest choice he had ever made. He closed the door and locked himself in alone with the nearly hundred walkers coming for him.

"Jack what are you doing!" Elsa cried noticing Jack had locked himself in with the walkers.

"You need to get out of here!" Jack cried shooting at the walkers. "You need to save the world. If I don't take these walkers out then none of you will get out. Then all of us as well as the world will die with us!"

"But Jack you will die!" Elsa cried putting her palm out the glass door.

"It's a sacrifice, that I am willing to make!" Jack said putting his palm on the glass doors in front of Elsa's as if they were touching hands for one last time.

"I love you Elsa!" Jack said before turning around and started shooting at the walkers again.

"Jack!" Elsa sobbed.

"Now go!" Jack cried out to Elsa as he took out a second gun.

"Elsa we've got to go now!" Flynn cried out to Elsa. Anna grabbed Elsa's hand and the two of them started running toward the helicopter. As they got in Elsa buried her head into Anna's shoulder's knowing that Jack was in their alone with the walkers.

The walkers were still coming at full speed at Jack. Jack soon found himself down to a single bullet remaining in his last gun. When Jack heard the helicopter starting off he knew that Elsa as well as the everybody else and the virus was safe. He looked around his surrounding and saw a glass window off in the distance. He also saw right in front of him a propane tank. As he quickly grabbed something off the lab table to his side he pointed his gun at the propane tank and closed his eyes.

"Goodbye Elsa!" Jack cried "I love you!" Jack then fired his last bullet at the propane tank, hitting it and causing the whole lab to explode.

"NOO!" Elsa cried seeing the lab explode. Anna and Peter grabbed Elsa by the hand as Elsa wept in Anna's shoulders.

"I'm sorry Elsa." Peter said as he and Anna hugged Elsa in comfort. "I truly am."
