Danny's POV
Sam and I were hanging out at the park. Tucker would've been there with us if hadn'e been grounded. He got detention for being on his PDA in class, and his parents grounded him for 2 weeks. It's only been 3 days. Anyway, Sam and I had just left the Nasty Burger and decided to take a walk in the park.
"Ugh, Danny! Why'd you let me eat that much! I'm too full," Sam whined, laughing under her breath.
"Because you said you were hungry," I answered, chuckling.
"Ugh," she groaned.
"It's okay, Sam. You can walk it off,"
"Okay," she half smiled.
We started walking the trail. She was admiring the flowers and the trees and watching the birds flying to their nests. I was too busy look at her to notice much. She's really pretty and it's doesn't help that I have a crush on her.
While she was watching nature, I was wathcing the way the clouded sun relfected off her hair, the way her eyes lit up when she saw a little animal or a pretty flower, and the way her purple lip stick looked absolutley adorable on her smile. Yep, I was full on head-over-heals.
We walked for another half an hour, until it started pouring. Just out of nowhere- BAM! Pouring rain. I looked around to see if anyone was there, then I turned into my alter-ego; Danny Phantom. Then I picked Sam up and flew to my house. We landed on my front door step and I changed back. Sam and I went inside.
"Danny, honey, is that you?" my mom called.
"Yeah, it's me and I brought Sam over," I replied, rounding the corner to see my mom in the kitchen.
"Okay, sweetheart. Oh, you two are soaking. Go up stairs and dry off. Danny, ask you sister if Sam can borrow something,"
"Yes, Ma'am,"
Sam and I went upstairs. I knocked on Jazz's door. No reply. Then I remembered, Jazz was at school. She was tutoring. I grabbed each of us a towel and we went into my room.
"Sorry, Jazz isn't here. She's at school, tutoring. You'll just have to borrow something of mine," I told her.
"Okay," I swear I saw her mouth turn upward a little and her cheeks turn a light red- almost pink.
I walked over to my drawer and pulled out some black sweat pants and one of my white and red t-shirts. I sat them down next to her on my bed.
"Here, you can change into these, and my mom will put your stuff in the dryer,"
"Thanks,"
She left my room to go into the bathroom. While she was gone, I changed into my red plad pajama pants and a black t-shirt. I ran a brush through my slightly damp hair and sat back down on my bed. A minute later, Sam walked back in.
Oh. My. Gosh. She looked absolutely stunningly beautiful. My pants were baggy on her and my shirt hung loosly on her. She came and sat down next to me on the edge of my bed, and flopped back so she was laying down. I did the same thing. I turned my head to look at her.
"You wanna' watch a movie while our clothes dry?" I asked.
"Yeah, what movie?"
I got up and walked over to my pile of DVDs.
"We can either watch 'The Conjuring' or 'My Sister's Keeper'," I said, reading the names of the 2 movies I had in my room.
"'My Sister's Keeper'?" Sam asked, giggling.
"Jazz made me watch it, okay?" I defended.
"Let's watch 'The Conjuring'," she answered.
I put it in and sat down on my bed, next to Sam. I propped up the pillows so we could lean on them. Without thinking, I draped my arm around Sam's shoulders. Surprisingly, didn't remove it, or hit me, or anything. She just left it there and watched the movie.
It was getting late and with about 20 minutes left in the movie, Sam leaned her head on my shoulder and scooted a little closer to me. By the end of the movie, Sam was asleep and I wasn't too far behind her.
Maddie's POV
I walked upstairs to tell Danny and Sam their clothes were dry. I knocked on the door with no response. I walked in to see Danny and Sam asleep on Danny's bed. He had an arm around her and her head on his shoulder. I saw a menu for some horror movie up. I turned off the TV and pulled a blanket over the 2 sleeping teens. Then I left the room.
Sam's POV
I woke up the next morning, with someone's arm around me. I look up to see Danny next to me. Then I realize we're in his room. We must've fallen asleep watching the movie. A few seconds later, Danny woke up.
"Morning, Bed Head," I greeted, smiling.
"Hey," he smiled, groggily.
"I think our clothes are dry," I said, seeing that Mrs. Fenton left a little basket with our clothes in it.
"Okay, but let's get breakfast before we change," he replied.
So we went downstairs to the kitchen. Jazz and Mr. and Mrs. Fenton greeted us as we entered. Danny got pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a glass of milk. I just got pancakes and a glass of orange juice. We sat down and ate. After that we went back up to change. I went into the bathroom and put on my tights, skirt, and cut-off tank top. Then I came back in with Danny's clothes that I had slept in.
"What do you want me to do with these?" I questioned, referring to the t-shirt and sweats.
"Keep 'em," he shrugged. "They look better on you, and anyway I don't even wear the sweat pants and I have that same shirt," he replied.
"Okay," I said, slightly blushing from his compliment.
Then I suddenly remembered that I didn't go home last night. I grabbed my phone and called my house. Luckily my grandma picked up.
"Hey, Grandma. Sorry I didn't come home. Danny and I were at the park and it started raining. We went back to his house to dry off and dry our clothes. While we were waiting we watched a movie, and then we fell asleep," I explained in a single breath.
"It's okay, Sweetheart. Your parents went out of town for a week. I knew you were with Daniel so I knew you were okay," she said.
"Thanks, Grandma. I'll be home in al little,"
"Okay, see you later. Bye,"
"Bye,"
"I see your grandma wasn't too worried," Danny said.
"She's fine," I replied.
"Good,"
"Well, I better get going,"
"Okay, I'll walk you down,"
We walked downstairs, and he walked me to the door.
"Bye, I'll text you later," Danny smiled.
"Okay, bye," I grinned back.
We hugged. When we pulled back, he leaned in and kissed me. It only lasted about three senconds or so. After that we shared another smile, and I left. A deep red blush crept to my cheeks as I walked down the street.
Danny' POV
I kissed Sam. When I pulled back we smiled at each other and then she left. I silently celebrated and turned around to see Jazz standing there.
"You didn't see... did you?" I questioned, nervously.
"I saw," she smirked.
She winked at me and walked off. I chucked to myself as I shook my head, walking back up to my room.
Hope you all liked. I don't own anything either.
